No need to look further as Michael is your electrician!
He installed a home surge protection, replaced and updated 60 plus switches, outlets and plugs, receptacle box installation and replacement, restoration of the main panel circuit breaker, installed a main grounding system, repaired and installed garage lights with junction boxes, replaced frayed furnace cord, new furnace, stove, washer and dryer outlets and more. With this 60 year old home it now feels completely safe to live in with no more blow outs from using more than one appliance at a time and lights no longer flicker. I can finally have peace of mind that my home is safe!
Michael is a perfectionist with attention to detail. He even installed every screw in the same direction! He cares about his clients and the safety of their homes. He checked in often asking if there was anything else I wanted him to do.
He works for himself and since he has no overhead you will find the best prices with his work.

I highly recommend Michael Leasure Electrical, let him be your go to guy. After roughing in an outdoor GFCI with weather proof cover Michael was able to wire it all up and test it all in an hour. I needed an electrician to do some repairs to my 100 year old home. Lots of offers, but Michael was my choice. He's licensed and has his own business. My choice turned out to be a great one! Michael made an appointment within 2 days to work up an estimate for me, and the work was done 2 days later! Michael was excellent from start to finish.
We swapped out some faulty dimmers, diagnosed an improperly wired 3-way switch, and added an extra wall receptacle.
On another job we had him out to replace a RV power box and install a 20A shutoff switch and run conduit for a Heat Pump.
Easy to consult and schedule with, flexible on solutions offered, and provided an agreeable warranty for all his work.
Everything he touched was installed with precision and an eye for detail. He made sure to use weather safe items on the exterior, and knew where to cut and drill the first time, no unnecessary holes or Oops moments.
I'd trust him with any electrical work I needed taken care of, no matter the difficulty.

There's only the best in services that I look for when in need, and Michael Leasure is just that in his field. He is professional, polite, very reasonably priced and to me most of all, can be trusted. I have had him work on jobs previously within my house, again just recently, installing a security system in the front and back of my house, and have scheduled a return visit in a month to install electrical boxes in 2 of my bedrooms for fan hookups. I highly recommend Michael!
I had Micheal over for a safety inspection. He is really knowledgeable, he explains what his findings are, writes a detailed report and also talks about possible future issues to come up and provides estimates for those items. He also fixes little things he finds wrong that can be done while he is doing the inspection which is included in the inspection fee. I plan to begin doing upgrades next year and will absolutely use him and highly recommend him. I also thought what he charged for the inspection service was more than fair.

I can't say enough good things about Michael: he contacted me immediately through Yelp, had an extremely reasonable call fee, came when he said he would, gave me text and call updates. Once here, he was super professional and handled my situation super fast.

Michael is the best electrician in Santa Rosa. He has helped me with multiple projects, and does a superior job, on time, confirms to all electrical codes, and I have complete confidence and peace of mind in his work. He has also been able to come up with creative solutions in multiple situations to help me accomplish my objectives.
Projects: We re-wired my kitchen to change from a slide-in range to a built-in oven and cooktop. The first Electrician I hired to work on this (through Angi aka HomeAdvisor ) did a ridiculously horrible job which Michael had to fix. I would recommend to everyone to never under any circumstances hire an electrician via Angi, you might end up burning your house down.
Second project: We installed a ceiling light in my son's room. Rather than ripping up a lot of walls in order to put the requisite wiring in place, we decided to use a wireless switch connected via my WiFi network. My son absolutely loves his new light fixture. When I asked he he wanted to switch it out for a ceiling fan, the answer was an emphatic No.
I will be hiring him for a third time now to change out 2 more ceiling light fixtures. And, after that, I have 2 additional projects in the pipeline (involving adding interior outlets, for which more drywall work will be required, so those are on hold for now).
You will not find a better electrician in Santa Rosa than Michael Leasure.

We hired Michael to diagnose and fix our interconnected fire alarm system that was sporadically giving off false alarms. On our initial phone call, Michael was gracious and helpful. When he came to the house, he was knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. He located and fixed some wiring issues, double-checked all the connections, and installed all new alarms. Now, here we are 3 weeks later with no issues, whew! Thank you, Michael!
Called Michael with a potential electrical repair. He walked me through a simple, DIY fix over the phone while others suggested they come out to diagnose and repair. Will definitely be calling Michael for future issues or when we remodel the house. Awesome!!!
It was a Sunday afternoon at 3pm when the appliances on a breaker went out. Simply flipping the breaker back on wasn't working. So I sent a group YELP message out to local 24 hour electricians. Michael Leasure responded within 30 minutes. We connected on the phone and he was able to quickly diagnose my issue and efficiently walk me through the corrective steps.
Michael was friendly and generous during our call, refusing to accept payment for his remote problem solving. I can tell that, in addition to being an expert in his field, Michael is an authentic and trustworthy person. Michael was awesome initially. He came to the house and spent significant time bouncing ideas off of us. The attentiveness ended there unfortunately. We haven't heard back regarding our initial estimate in weeks what was only supposed to take a couple days.
I think it just wasn't meant to be but I expect to be kept appraised of what's going on, delays or otherwise. I wish I could've wrote a more positive review since Michael seems like a great guy.
Great service. Super honest. Very hard to find an electrician you can trust, but Michael has earned our continued business because of his reliability and honesty.

Michael was excellent to work with. He is very personable and great with communication. From day one he was thorough in his explanations of what he recommended and what the job we wanted done would entail. He has an amazing break down of your project from the most expensive lets do everything option; to the funds may be a little tight right now, lets do the main thing option. I think we looked at 5 different options for our project that he made for us, we ended up going with the top tier option because his prices are also great! If you have a multiple day job he updates the invoices as you go so you can see exactly what he has done and what he has left to do.
Easy to communicate with over the phone or through text. He cleaned as he went with our entire project so there was nothing left over with us. Polite and professional the entire time! We would 100% work with Michael again in the future if we have another electrical need, and we will definitely be recommending him as well!

Mike did a great job installing a few motion lights, a hot tub outlet and upgraded my panel. He was accurate, timely, resourceful, offerred creative solutions and had reasonable prices. I will use him again next time I need an electrician for sure.

Michael did a great job on my issue; cost a lot less than I expected, and he took time to give me advice on all kinds of electrical related topics (generators, central air etc.,)... money very well spent.
Michael has done several electrical jobs for us now, he's quick to response and good at communicating, has an automated text service for appt reminders etc, and is a pleasure to work with. We've had some weird old electrical issues, we will trust him with any new ones that will eventually pop up.

We needed two ceiling fans installed in rooms that were not pre-wired. We got an estimate from an electrician that we had used twice in the past and were happy with. We decided to get a second estimate, as this was a bigger job than others in the past. Michael was on time and very professional. He came out, carefully reviewed the job, explained our options, then provided an estimate within 10 minutes - we had waited two days for the first estimate.
We hired Michael to do the job and we couldn't be happier with the results. He encountered an unexpected hitch in the plan, as a portion of our attic was sealed off. He investigated other ways to get the new wire to the location of the fan and came up with a solution.
Michael is now our go to electrician and we highly recommend him. He is very professional, does great work and runs his business with more modern scheduling and estimating tools than other similar businesses that we have used.

Michael did a great job replacing our ceiling fan. He also suggested which fan would best serve our space. With the new fan, our place is much cooler. He also replaced four broken electrical outlets. It's nice to have those in working order!

What can I say about Michael that hasn't already been said? There is a reason why all of his ratings are five-star reviews.
Michael is knowledgeable about all things electrical related. He goes out of his way to explain concepts so that the average person, like me, can understand.
Michael has always been on time for our appointments. He wears booties inside the house and had his mask on the entire time.
Michael provided at least three different options for the various jobs we had. There was never any pressure to choose one option (like the highest priced one) over others.
The work he did for us was nothing short of spectacular. He didn't leave behind a mess--in fact, my kitchen was cleaner after he was done with a job.

Michael called me directly and apologized for missing my call. He gave no excuses, but when I said I understood and regretted my yelp review, he explained what had happened and promptly offered to come by and bid the work. He even offered a discount, which was unnecessary, but appreciated.
This is a shitty and difficult time for all of us. Michael and many good people like him are working their asses off and doing their best. He is one guy and gets a lot of calls. He's also working late and often in remote areas of the county where phone service is spotty. I can't fault a busy guy for missing a call now and then. He's as human as anyone, and let's be honest, he missed my call because for better or worse, he's a victim of his own success. He clearly has a lot of happy customers.
He made a sincere attempt to correct the mistake as soon as he was aware of it which is way more than a lot of people would do, and really is all you can ask of anyone. That more than makes up for the small inconvenience.

Michael did a great job on what I would perceive as a small PITA job. Warranted and all. Keep in mind - you as a potential customer - may have to exercise some patience. He is busy because he is good! Give him some time to return your call. The wait will be worth it.

I found Michael through Yelp and asked him for a quote on some work on my mother-in-laws house. Within a few minutes we set up a time for him to take a look at everything. Michael ran through out check-list of projects and gave us various pricing options. We decided to proceed and booked him to come back in a couple of weeks.
The day the work needed to be completed, everything went smoothly. I was joking around with my wife asking her when she thought the first thing would go wrong (because anyone who has had work done to their house knows this is usually the case). To my surprise, there were no caveats. The work was completed and the walk-through was flawless.
I have some bigger electrical projects in mind and will definitely reach out to Michael when I decide to move forward with with those!
Mr Leasure contacted me after my one-star and asked for an opportunity to make it right. I had him come for a site review/estimate. I had a long list of small jobs and needed an electrician. I contacted Michael Leasure. He came to my house the next day. Took notes and listened to me and then emailed me a detailed estimate that evening.
He gave me several options on the items I wanted done and some I was thinking about. We came to an agreement on the scope of the job and he was out within two days to do the work. He did everything I asked for and made several suggestions on how to acheive what I was looking for when I added several additional jobs I decided I also wanted done. I thought it was a small job but found out later what was entailed, it turned out to be a bigger job than I thought. But the outlet was done very professionally and clean. Michael tackled a long list of electrical projects for us in Dillon Beach including installing an EV Charger, whole house surge protector, NEST smoke detectors (both hard wired and battery operated), and a new exterior outlet. He also replaced several light fixtures and a number of switches and receptacles. I tend to be fussy about aesthetics and workmanship and from his initial consult, Michael listened to and respected my concerns and the final work met or exceeded my expectations. His estimates were clear, transparent, fairly priced, and professional and he provided options where appropriate. Michael has performed many jobs for us. He has installed 3 ceiling fans that we purchased (2 of which the ceiling was not pre-wired), and revamped 3 electrical outlets that were almost 30 years old. He also replaced our outside lights back and front yard as well as an additional side light and recommended those lights as well. That was the 1st job. The second was replacing already purchased 5 combo smoke/carbon dioxide dectors. He was kind enough to recommend. In that same visit he also installed already purchased Ring doorbell camera. Our original doorbell/box never rang it just made a weird sound, he replaced too for us. He was very patient when I texted him a couple of days prior to add an additional task for the 2nd job. He installed his recommendation (which I purchased) the two additional security cameras in the front because a few days prior we realized someone was messing with one of our cars. He was patient in assisting to set up the doorbell ringer and security cameras on my cell phone. I recommend Michael to handle any electrical work! We plan on having more future work like revamping all the electrical wiring in our home (eventually).

Michael Leasure the electrician was very nice and helpful. He always used booties in our home to keep our carpet clean. His uniform was clean and his tools were clean. Michael went under our house and rewired correctly the junction boxes that were put in sloppily
which caused two of our outlets to not work. He also put in all new up-to-code wall plugs and GFI where needed. Michael explained to us clearly what he was doing and why he did the work. When Michael found out I was a veteran, he gave a 5% discount. I would hire him again. Michael gives a two year guarantee on his work.

Michael and his assistant are amazing! Came and saved the day. We were in a pinch to get some work done before a new appliance arrived & then added a laundry list of other wishes. They fit us in and didn't stop until the job was done. Couldn't be more professional, efficient and thorough. Highly recommend!
I found Michael on Yelp and arranged to have him come to install a new outside light to rreplace one that was malfunctioning. He was a thorough professional from his initial reponse to me, to reconfirming the date and time, arriving on time, and doing the job. He also pointed out a problem in my circuit box and gave me an estimate to fix it as well as estimatees for some future electrical installations. He documented every item so I could clearly see the individual prices. I found him to be very reasonably priced compared to other electricians I have previously used. I highly recommend him!
