I hired Electric Heroes for a project for our building after sourcing several quotes. They were by far the simplest to deal with while delivering the easiest and most fair quote. Their estimator was great to deal with.
The electrician that came, Jesus, was great to deal with and did a fantastic job which was quicker than estimated, ending our project under budget.
I can confidently say that I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an electrician. I will be hiring them again for sure.

First, we had them come out to look at the site and give an estimate. Later that day, they requested payment for work that hasn't even been scheduled.
I went to EH because of the reviews I read!
We had so many issues with EH! Scheduling, wrong items delivered, bad attitude, incomplete work and leaving the site, incorrect work done. We finally had enough and going to have another vendor complete their work.
Ana, the support person, was good to deal with and did her best to find solution to the situation she had no control of.
I was hopeful, but we are not going business with them again.

Poor customer service, quality of work, communication and follow through with issues. I was part of a large group that chose this company to replace our electrical panels in our condos. First, they didn't show up for the first scheduled appt, no call and no show. Second, poor workmanship as there was a 3 inch gap left above the electrical panel for weeks. They did not paint as promised in the contract. The city permit was also included in the contract and it did not pass the inspection. Another electrician came out and worked for several hours replacing the work that was previously done so it would pass. I've reached out multiple times via email and phone to receive a copy of the city permit, yet haven't received anything. I'm very dissatisfied with the entire process as they are very unprofessional and feel that once they received their money, they don't seem to follow through with the contract. They guaranteed a pass by city inspection, yet haven't provided me the proof by providing me the permit that states so. I guess I have to take further action.
Got my main panel upgraded to a solar ready one. They had the best price and did a clean job. There were some scheduling issues but understandable given the nature of the job and the involvement of external parties like the city and Pge. Robert explained the job well and Anna handled all scheduling etc. really courteously and promptly. They did miss out on communication a few times but if you just keep calling them and stay on top - it's all good.
Heroes is an understatatement.
Matt and team accomplished what was seemingly impossible...I called them around noon on a Friday (MLK weekend) when I learned from PGE that we needed a complete 400A panel replacement and Matt went right into action. They had a building permit in hand before end of day (miracle 1), they had located a 400A panel (backordered everywhere until April) and had it in hand Saturday (miracle 2) and thx to a very helpful and responsive PGE lineman we had power turned back on Sunday (miracle 3). 48hrs to solve a major problem that everyone thought would take at least a week exceeded all expectations. Thx Electric Heroes!
AWFUL. BUYER BEWARE.
I needed an electric wall heater installed and requested a Saturday. They sent me a text Friday confirming someone would be there Saturday at 9 am. I got there before 9 am and after waiting for an hour I decided to call them. No one answered so I left a message. After another hour or so someone called me and said no one is scheduled to do any jobs this particular Saturday. And that I had to reschedule.
I did. I asked for a 1 pm appointment. I called them a day before to confirm my appointment for 1 pm the next day. They said they have me down for a 9 am appointment as they might not be able to finish if they started at 1 pm. That's fine but why didn't you call and tell me?? They said they got busy. Really!??
They showed up this time but brought an electric wall heater that does not have an ON/OFF switch. I asked them why they didn't tell me which wall heater they were going to install before they brought it. No real answer.
After the installation, I asked if they could offer a discount for all the trouble they caused me. They refused!!

If you are reading this .. I hope you will explain how unreasonable I was. As I would love a chance to show the facts of my experience.
The job itself took months.
We never would have known that there were so many issues with the work if we hadn't had separate inspectors come and tell us afterwards. The wires were never strapped down in the attic and under the house. The panel had the wrong breakers installed. The permits were never left on site with us. (We didn't know that permits were not supposed to leave the job site in the first place. We were never even given a physical copy.)
Whenever we call, the admin answer with let me ask Robert and I'll get back to you.
In the end, more than 1 YEAR after they began work, we had to ask inspectors to figure out what was missing to close the permit.
On the plus side, they sent cleaners when we found the interior of the house covered with dust, and the toilet bowl covered in... marks. And they ate our snacks. Another plus: after using my brand new ladder and leaving chunks of material on it they were willing to replace it with a new ladder.
Seriously - one of the best experiences ever with an electrician.
The story... So we bought a new place, and wanted to use my girlfriends' washer and electric dryer in it. What do ya know? The 220 volt doesn't work! Had a bunch of electricians out and they said $250 per hour, minimum two hours for this kind of diagnostic work. Ouch. Ok, we'll get a gas dryer instead.
Matt from Electric Heroes comes by - was totally expecting him to give me more of the same kind of quote. Nope. Matt reaches up above the breaker box, pulls out wires that are labelled old dryer, hooks it up to a breaker - and BOOM - we are in business. FOR FREE!!!
Ok, I'm not saying that these guys will fix your broken electrical stuff for free - but what an absolute LEGEND.
So of course, I hired them to install an EV outlet for me. They were ALSO the lowest quote I got. Matt is a professional, a gentleman, and a superb electrician. HIRE HIM NOW.

Absolutely outstanding! I had a somewhat complicated emergency issue during the severe storms early January 2023 and not only were they able to show up the same day I made the call, they were able to accurately and intelligently pinpoint and solve my problem. Will most certainly be calling them for future electrical work. Very highly recommended! Electric Heroes indeed!

They provided a quote with no scope of services or description of the work to be performed. When I asked for this to be included they would not add the information to the quote. Essentially, they wanted a signature on a black quote with only a dollar figure.
José B and his partner arrived on time and quickly rewired the electrical switches to our backyard lights and outlets. The old wiring was dangerously mixed up which resulted in a scary sizzling, light-flickering, circuit-breaking situation. Jose answered all my questions and kept me informed about the process. I'll definitely be calling again for future work!
We reached out to Electric Heroes to help with installation of two flush mount ceiling lights, a CAT6 ethernet run, replacement of an outdoor lighting fixture, and two new outlets in our garage.
From estimate to job completion, Electric Heroes have been quick, professional, cost effective, and reliable. They even helped us navigate the permitting process! Huge thank you to Jose, Bryan, Rose, Matt, Ana, Idan, and the whole Heroes team!
A lot of electrical contractors are not reliable but this company is a gem. They're all professionals and do a great job. Highly recommend this business and so grateful I found them!!
I can't speak to the competence of the electricians, bc they haven't done anything yet. I can only speak of the scheduling. They rescheduled my appointment and didn't inform me. I found out the day of.
I'm giving them an extra star bc their estimate was very clear and detailed. (Though, the person who did the virtual estimate also no-showed at our original appointed time, and had to reschedule for a different day.)
I'm giving them a second extra star bc I asked them for a discount after multiple scheduling mishaps and they gave it to me. They still haven't completed the repair yet so, TBD on their actual electrical work.
Substandard work that does not comply with California title 24 electric laws. Dangerous fire hazards, EH placed metal lighting directly on metal pipes and ceiling installation. Recessed non-canned lighting was installed but EH charged for installation of canned lighting. Dangerously left a nail touching electrical wires in shower wall and did not fix. Negligence for leaving wires exposed to weather conditions for weeks. Dangerously installed a noncompliant outlet for an outdoors hot tub, when GFIC outlets were required.

Electric Heroes are professional, communicative and easy to work with. Most importantly, they were available at a time when the trades in the Bay Area are in very high demand. The best ability is availability, they say.
We were flagged for a small violation in our building. For such a small job, most electricians I contacted wouldn't even come out to take a look. Matt came out, took a look and had a quote back to us in no time. Scheduling the work was just as easy and fast. As were the electricians who came out to do the job. There was a small hiccup in scheduling the final inspection (outside of their control, I believe), but once I contacted Idan the matter was resolved within minutes.
Good price, great service! They will be the first electricians I call when I need work in the future.

We got a couple of quotes from highly-rated electricians and this one was by far the better deal. Electric Heroes installed canned lighting and GFCIs and troubleshooted some shoddy electrical work on our new house. They were very respectful and good about explaining their work and any issues they ran into. They also made a great recommendation for a painter to patch the holes left over from the job, and that process was equally smooth. I'm looking forward to working with them again!

Matt and his team did a great job upgrading my main service to 200 amps. I have underground service and a very long run (70+ ft). I talked to 8 electricians who all said pulling new conductors was too risky and I would need to trench and install new conduit. Fortunately I found Electric Heroes. Matt came out and confirmed I had a 2in conduit and told me right then it would be no problem. He then worked with Alameda Municipal Power to make sure they had capacity to support the upgrade and was able to track down a 200 amp panel (they are sold out everywhere because of the supply chain issues). The process was very smooth. Thank you Matt and team!

We want to swap an old gas range and dryer for electric appliances, but didn't have the circuits. Our condo has no crawl space, and the 50 amp circuit for the range requires very think cables, so not an easy job.
Electric Heroes was great to work with, from estimate to project completion. Their crew (Francisco and Ignacio) worked hard, did good work, and were pleasant and even fun.
We wanted to replace our old over-the-counter kitchen lights with LED strips and replace a bathroom fan that had stopped working. Electric Heroes made a virtual appointment quickly, met all appointment times on-time, and, after acceptance of the bid, scheduled installation within 2 weeks. All communication was professional, the installation and clean-up was performed on time, and my wife and are are very pleased with the results. I highly recommend their services.
About a week after our initial FaceTime appointment, and still no price estimate or response from them. This seems a little unprofessional and well... not so responsive. They seemed friendly up until the FaceTime initial call but never got back to me about their price estimate or when they could even come and perform the job.
Details about my job: a couple light fixtures to install at home.
The team from Electric Heroes did a great job installing my 2 ceiling fans. Jose Blanco and his partner crawled up into our very tight attic and made it all happen. Minimum of mess and great work.. They stayed late in order to finish.. The whole process was easy and I would definitely use them again. Thank you!
My contractor called Electrical Heroes to sort out a problem the last electrician had made on our new electrical panel. Jose Blanco and his partner came out, crawled through the very narrow attic space and fixed the issue quickly and competently. Jose then showed me a few other issues that should be addressed and clearly explained what should be done to correct them to code. It was all communicated in layman's terms I could understand. Electric Heros to the rescue! It's been tough finding an electrician during this time, but Electric Heros came through! Their response time was great, less than 24 hours to get a visual consultation and within a week to get the job done.
I had a problem with flickering lightsand crackling sounds in 2 kitchen recessed lights and called Electric Heroes. Zohra, the office manager, called me back one hour later to schedule an appointment. But, instead of booking, she asked me to try switching the circuit breakers on and off first. I was skeptical, but it worked and the flickering stopped in all the lights!
Zohra could have just booked it, but did the most helpful thing. If I have any future electrician problems, I will call Electric Heroes first. Thanks!!
From the moment I reached out to this company, they were fantastic! The owner Edon met (virtually) with me to go over the job, and within 5-10 minutes I had the estimate. He reviewed line items and answered all of my question. Three days later Jose and Brian came to my home to install an outlet. Jose walked me through all aspects of the job, and what was suppose to take about three hours, took two hours. We had some electric outlets installed to the exterior of our house. They respond quickly and came out to see the location in-person to give us a proper quote. When we agreed to the contract, they scheduled the job around our availability, which is very much appreciated. On the day of the job, we got assigned to Kevin Cortez Martinez and a coworker. They came on time, understood what needed to be done, were self-sufficient, and efficient. They were professional and polite. The online payment system was easy to navigate. We're happy with the work and would highly recommend.

Called this place to replace fuse breakers. First, they want $295 just to diagnose the problem. And it's more if repair takes more work. Their scheduler took forever to get down my contact info and rudely sighed and said can you spell that out while I was actually spelling my name. Everything was great from day 1 when I contacted them through Yelp. Laura was very fast in replying to me, providing me an estimate, and then scheduling the service with an electrician. The electrician is really professional and experienced, he provided a much better solution for my home than the other electrician that came to gave me an estimate. He showed up on time, he did a great job, efficiently with great quality. It was an amazing experience with Electric Heroes and I will definitely be using Electric Heroes for other projects that I have in mind. I highly recommend Electric Heroes.
I need helped to secure the high power conduit on the roof which was knocked off by a tree. I wasn't in a rush so I contacted Electric Heroes at off hours but got responded next day morning. They were able to send out someone and do a free consultation the same day. Matt came on time and called to notify me 45min before his arrival. Easy process from start to finish! We received a quick response and appointment for a quote. The following week they scheduled to do the work, and were told two days but Kevin got it done in one. The two man crew let by Kevin were polite and professional. Would definitely use them again.

His two man team of Edward and Jesus exceeded my expectations of completing the 14-50 outlet and helping troubleshoot and installing some smart dimmers for me. This is my revised review of Electric Heroes. After I posted my 1st review, the company took care of the billing issue and apologized. I appreciate they took care of the issue and will definitely use them again.
Very responsive to our Yelp request and willing to provide a free estimate. The guy who came out to give us an estimate was actually able to do the job on the same visit. Very efficient and courteous Only downside was a higher hourly rate ($189) than other electricians we contacted.
This one is a long overdue review. Jan 2021 I was looking for someone who can install new recessed lights in our living room and bedrooms and install flood lights and cameras.
Took quotes and ideas from lot of companies and then Matt from electric heroes visited for the quote. Matt is a knowledgeable skill tech/project manager. He provide insights and ideas that we loved and his quote was good too - I didn't go with lowest quoted!
His crew arrived on time and worked promptly. One thing that could have been a bit better was if Matt had showed up on the day of installation. We had to go some back and forth on clarifying the scope of work between him and crew.
In 2 days they wrapped up work. We were very satisfied with the work.
Fast forward Sept, my husband could hear electromagnetic humming noises from
Lights. I contacted the office and they promptly sent some to look. They owned the issue and promised to fix it. Only problem was that Matt was out on vacation so there were some
Understanding and coordination hiccups.
Once Matt was back in office, he took over the issue and resolved it by replacing all recessed lights and switches with the compatible ones.
Getting the work done is one thing but owning it and servicing your work is another! I am glad we chose right company who takes customer service seriously!

They installed a level 2 charger for my EV, and fixed some lingering issues at no charge. Not to mention, all people that came by were masked at all times. I was very impressed with their efficiency, competitive rates and professionalism. I interacted with Mat and Bar and both were great.

Robert did a great job to troubleshoot the source of my lights flickering and shutting for a few seconds intermittently. He checked my lights, switches, plugs and found the issue on the fuse! So glad he was able to fix! Awesome work! Came early and was efficient! Will work with him again!

I was looking for someone to replace some old, 4-pin CFL recessed lights in our kitchen with LEDs. I reached out to Electric Heroes and they responded promptly with a reasonable quote, and also offered to provide the lights for me instead of me trying to buy them myself with little confidence of buying the right thing. We set up a time for just a couple days later and Kevin showed up right on time, gave me options for lights (soft white, bright white, daylight, etc.), and installed them quickly and efficiently. The new lights look great.
I will definitely be using. Electric Heroes for future projects.

Super experience. Kevin attacked the problem in an organized manner and determined problem area and then had to repair the messy job. I was really worried this was going to be a very expensive ordeal but it was over pretty fast and reasonable. Kevin must have had special tracing tools? It seemed to be a big problem as so many things not working. Lights and outlets in one whole area of house. Nice to have everything back now that it is dark all day!

they went went the distance to make things right. how many companies stand by their reputation? everything was left clean and working. I had a missing part and they even went the extra mile to accommodate that. good work!
Finally someone was able to figure out why our bathroom circuits weren't working! Kevin from Electric Heroes was on time, fixed our problem, and was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Electric Heroes.
Quick response and was able to send a technician right away. We had flickering issues in one of our rooms. He checked all our outlets and updated them within an hour. Great work, relatively low cost and quick service. Highly recommend
Called Electric Heroes to look at a broken switch within my building. Very professional from the beginning - had a mask ready and was super respectful. He immediately realized that there wasn't anything wrong immediately with the switch and just recommended me to buy a replacement part. He waived the fee and chose to just give me solid advice. I'll definitely go back to them in the future when I have work for them to take on.

They arrived on time and were professional, nice, and covid safe. They also completed the diagnostic of the problem quickly and fixed it very fast. Trying to get them to reply to an estimate for future work but it's a bit hard to get a reply using their website. Still, they did a great job when they were here, and would recommend.

These guys are amazing! They were able to give me an estimate over Zoom instead of having someone come to my house, greatly appreciated during Covid. Then during the Zoom meeting he told me that I could get my gas stove repaired (by someone else) for a lot less than it would cost to do the electrical upgrades I called him about and get a new electric oven. That kind of honesty is not easy to find. I will definitely call Electric Heroes the next time I need an electrician.
Excellent experience with Electric Heroes. The estimate was fast and professional and the actual job was performed flawlessly. Very reasonable bid and really straightforward process. Kevin did a super job adding a 240v outlet for a new induction range. Definitely recommend and will keep in mind for any future electrical work!

We moved into a condo that was a series of renovation projects, one of which being several electrical projects. We finally got around to tackling these, called electric heroes and they responded immediately to help. Kevin came out to our house and just completed a series of projects for us. He was so wonderful, efficient and clearly knowledgeable. He easily fixed our myriad of issues and was so kind in the process. I would highly recommend him and Electric Heroes and we will definitely use them again for our next project.

Came and installed our electric heater, removed the old one. Did a nice job with the wiring and plumbing.
Kevin was great and got it done super fast and efficiently. Not thrilled about the scheduling, though. We scheduled for a Tuesday; nobody showed up. Then today, Thursday, when I'm undressed and on the toilet, Kevin shows up. Turns out, communicating via Yelp is not the best thing. I recommend you call them and communicate only using your usual methods.
I needed to replace my buzzing light switch and swap 2 light fixtures. I was looking for an electrician who could work with my schedule, so I called different places. Some didn't get back to me in time, some wouldn't take small jobs like this, some could only book for days later, some could only offer a random time window. Electric heroes made this quick and easy job the way it was supposed to be. I was always on conference calls and they were able to book my appointment by texting, which was such a plus! Even on Sunday! The technician arrived right on time the next day. He was super polite, professional, and fast! The total was $200, which was their minimum charge. They might be on the pricy end comparing to some others for my type of work, but I would much rather pay more for less hassle because my time is valuable too. Highly recommend these people!

Service was great. They provided a quote and stuck to the estimated costs. Kevin, the electrician, arrived on time and made sure he got the right materials to replace some broken switches. He quickly completed the job and made sure everything was fixed correctly. Great work. Highly recommend.
Electric Heroes did a great job installing an exterior outlet on my home, and the price was very reasonable to me. I will use them in the future for any other electrical work!

Amazing service. I can't recommend Electric Heroes enough! I called and I was lucky enough that I could be included in their schedule that very day. The estimate was reasonable and setting the appointment couldn't have been easier. I needed to replace what was apparently an old stove outlet for a 4-prong dryer outlet, for my new dryer. I took some photos and when the tech arrived (he called ahead and let me know when he would arrive, which was on time) he had the part(s) and was ready to go. The great thing is, he also installed my new dryer, I didn't have to call back the installers. Yippee! I can use it today rather than wait a few more days. He even took a look at my furnace and thermostat connection. He was friendly, totally professional and knowledgable. Super efficient. And wore a mask and was as virus safe as possible. I really couldn't be happier with their service, I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. Thanks!
