From start to end, it was a great experience.
First, I explained what was needed. Then, work was done immediately and on time. I was shown what was done and there was an additional follow up test to demonstrate that electricity came through each outlet.

I highly recommend Tarin Electric as Shakib did an outstanding job replacing our sub panel and I am extremely happy that we chose his company for the job.
Shak from Tarin Electric has been helpful in fixing small issues around our house. One time, we had a lighting issue in the house. He was able to talk us through some steps over the phone to do some basic troubleshooting, which saved us an estimate and in-person visit. We have relied on him for other projects like the electrical wiring of a sliding gate.
I appreciate his responsiveness, ongoing communication, and being upfront about costs. We're glad we decided to work with a local, small business like Tarin Electric.

We are remodeling our home and a few of the rooms needed new lighting. Decided to hire Tarin Electric because of the reviews I read and also because they are a local business.
From the initial site survey, quote process and onsite work, they didn't disappoint. Shakib and his team arrived on time and did a wonderful job.
A few days before the project I let him know that a part needed for the ceiling fan was delayed. He then asked me for the specs of the light and he ordered the part from his supplier. Needless to say, we didn't need the part after all, but he went out of way to find a solution. That confirmed I made the right choice in hiring his company.

We have had only phenomenal experiences working with Tarin Electric. They have done a number of jobs for us, and are always prompt, professional, and do great work. Owning an old home in the Bay Area can be overwhelming, and sometimes small repairs uncover big issues! We had a great experience with Shakib. He was very responsive and came the next day to assess what we needed and provide a quote for an EV charger installation.
The price was very reasonable compared to others. We had ordered a Chargepoint charger on amazon and the installation was straight forward. The process was really quick, the installation was very clean and well done. Shakhib is a pleasure to work with and we will certainly consider him if we need electician services again.
Shakib is very professional and detail-oriented.
1 star - He is knowledgeable about electrical work. He easily identified the issues we had and still tested out any other potential issues to just be certain.
2 stars - He provided us the estimate on work hours as well as the cost. Even though there were some minor issues showed up unexpected, he quickly solved it and tried to stay within the time he promised.
3 stars - He is very friendly and trustful. He provided us some very useful tips that we had done on our own later. Much appreciated!
4 stars - he is very patient. I am a little control freak and definitely liked things to go certain ways without any alternatives. He tried his best to work things out and make them exactly the way I was picturing.
5 stars - overall, we are super satisfied with Shakib's help and enjoying our new dining room with beautiful lights.

Tarin Electric was great. I had them install new GFI outlets, updated some light fixtures and did an inspection luckily everything was good.

Excellent service & communications! Responds quickly from initial Yelp request to direct texts, states estimate/costs up front, no surprises. Honest & reliable. Practicing safe protocols with mask & shoe covers, Shakib quickly identified the problem with my old unit, sourced a new replacement, & installed it. So happy I found him, & I highly recommend. Top Notch Electricians! Shakib and Nick installed an outdoor outlet, a low voltage transformer, and landscape lighting in my front yard this week. I have worked with several bay area electricians, and I feel like I have finally found one that I can trust for all future electrical projects. Shakib is competent, methodical, hardworking, and considerate of the customer. My garage was a mess from previous electrical work - Shakib took the time to remove all stranded cables and equipment, and neatly staple loose cables left by others. Shakib provided a detailed bid for the job, at an affordable cost, and he and Nick installed everything perfectly. I am so pleased with the entire experience. If you are looking for an electrician who is responsive and capable with a great attitude, who won't price gouge you, look no further!

Power had been at partial capacity for almost a week at the clinic I work at-Tarim Electric quickly remedied what PG&E could not touch, was professional and quick, got our power up and running again and let us know next steps for follow up appt. Would use them again!
Tarin Electric was great, Shakib came on the day and time agreed upon. The cost was kept to the price quoted. He is very knowledgeable and professional. We are very glad he was recommended to us and will be using his services for future electrical jobs.
Shakib and his helper from Tarin Electric did a wonderful job of upgrading our upscale neighborhood street lamps . They were around 20 years old and were originally old sodium lamps that had stopped working properly 10 years ago. A previous electrician had tried and failed to get them working at that time. Tarin showed up, did over an hour of exploratory work to accurately assess the scope of the repair/upgrade to brighter and much cheaper to operate LED's. He then a sent a detailed bid, showed up on time and performed the work over the course of two days. The first night two of them proved to be balky (tap on the base of the lamp and connection is made) and Tarin returned the next day and spent 4 hours reworking parts that were not working properly, upgraded those items and got those units working. Two weeks later, no more issues and the neighborhood couldn't be happier.
Highly recommended and we plan to have Tarin Electric back this Spring to install uplighting in our yard. Others in the neighborhood are saying the same thing. Couldn't be happier.
Tarin was on time, communicative, and gave some really solid advice on electrical safety. He clearly prioritizes high quality work that is up to code and does not cut corners.
I contacted Shak regarding installing an exterior light above my garage, along with some backlit address numbers. Shak scheduled an appointment and gave us an estimate for the work to be done. He had availability and started the job the next day. I was very impressed with his work and his attention to detail.
He was very transparent, professional and his prices were competitive. I'll be contacting Tarin Electric in the future.
We use Shakib from Tarin a lot for our electricity concerts at our buildings (residential apartments and commercial spaces). Always punctual, very good communication, and a pleasure to work with. Definitely recommend!

Shakib is an excellent troubleshooter and really responsive. We had an electrical issue which he solved over the phone. He quickly understood the issue and recommended few fixes which worked. He was very patient and explained everything over the phone and said that he can come over to diagnose the issue but wanted me to try few things before he make that trip. He definitely care about providing a great service to his customers, whether he gets paid or not. I would highly recommend Shakib. Thank you for your help.

Total quality. If you want the best of the best, Tarin Electric is it. I had trouble with the electric wiring in our kitchen. Shakib diagnosed and fixed our broken lighting and microwave circuitry with complete professionalism. He was punctual, courteous, and competent. Shakib also communicated particularly well and seems to be an all around great guy!
Terrific service, quick response and super helpful upon arrival. Came on the weekend and arrived within An hour and fifteen minutes of first contact. High quality to the work and went above and beyond in terms of service.
We had some issues with our electrics and decided to reach out to Shakib after reading the reviews. Shakib did an awesome job on upgrading our electrical panel, upgrading an old outside outlet and adding additional outlet to our garage. He texted and gave us calls to update us on every steps of the process. He even came on a holiday to check and do some pre-work. The result came out great and we are very satisfied. Owner Shakib is very patient in helping me diagnose issue where I lost power to couple outlets in my house. I thought it's some fuse blowed out , turns out it's a much tougher issue. Turns out some wiring is disconnected inside the wall somewhere. Shakib suggested a solution and make things work !
10/10. Called him on a Sunday at 7am and he picked up. Showed up 30 mins later and fixed my breaker issue!

Shakib/Tarin Electric was professional, responsive, thorough, and affordable! I appreciated that he was also willing to provide some helpful guidance on how to ensure I didn't continue to run Into electrical issues with my circuit breakers and my outlets. It's also important to mention that I had an urgent need for help and he was able to fit me into his schedule and was more than welcome to help. Lastly in comparison with other electricians, the service was extremely reasonable and affordable. Electrical issues I've been putting off for months and an urgent issue that came up today were fixed within two hours. Amazing! I'll definitely reach out to them again for future needs.

I contacted Shakib today (along with a few other electricians) to help with some lighting issues at my new home. He responded within minutes, offered the most reasonable rate by far, and was able to come over the same day. When he arrived, he was friendly, professional, and respectful (properly masked at all times). What I really appreciated was his willingness to explain what he was doing and empower me to be more self-sufficient next time. I'm the opposite of handy, so pretty much any knowledge is useful. Lastly, he followed up afterwards via text with some additional information - that level of customer service truly impressed me, and I'll absolutely use him exclusively for any future projects.

We noticed late Sunday afternoon the electricity to our She Shed in the back wasn't working. We reached out to Shakib and he immediately started to troubleshoot and understand more about the issue. I sent him pictures of our system and he came out the next morning. He walked us through the process and installed a new electrical line from the house to the shed. He was extremely professional, quick, and did an amazing job! We weren't able to be there when the work was being done, but he kept us updated the whole day and really appreciated it. We now have power in the shed and can get back to working from home. Highly recommend using him, we will again for sure!
Shakib responded immediately when I messaged him and gave me such a great estimate it honestly made me a little skeptical. But he and his co-worker came out replaced my 40 year old intercom system for the price he gave me with no hiccups. Highly recommend using them for any electrical issues you may have!!!

Can't say enough good things about our experience working with Tarin Electric. Shakib was responsive during scheduling, fair with his pricing and easy to work with during the service call. He efficiently completed three projects in our home during a morning of work -- replacing a ballast, installing a humidity sensor fan control and fixing our doorbell. Great service and follow up after the appointment. Would highly recommend.
Shakib was referred to us by our realtor. The week our home was being shown, at 8pm one night the kitchen light blew out. I called a few electricians who I scheduled appointments with the following day, but happened to not need one because Shakib picked up the phone and helped my husband and I diagnose the problem over the phone. We went to home depot that night got a new fixture and he spoke with us the following morning to relay what to do and not to do. Just move the the bay area from so cal. Needed an outlet installed in the pantry. Went on yelp to research ratings and reviews. Found Tarin Electric. He contacted me with within 15 mins of requesting a quote. Got the outlet installed a couple of days later. I even gave him specifics of where and how i wanted it installed. He delivered. Shakib is very professional with fair pricing. Will use again in the future.
I had a question and needed help with an electrical problem with the a/c my home. Tarin Electric was prompt in getting back to me quickly to answer my question virtually and helping me understand the problem. He was honest and referred me back to the A/C installers to call in my warranty and gave me the information needed for a quick resolution and kept me from a possible electric fire in my home.

The company responded right away to my question and the job was completed in one day. Very professional, punctual and the quality of work was the highest. I had a throw switch installed to plug my generator into my home to power house during a black out. No complaints, highly recommend.
Came by same day to do an estimate and did my hot tub install next day. Perfect install, super clean work. Very respectful of the property and cleaned up really well. Masked the whole time while over. Was easy to understand and very responsive over text. Definitely will be calling again for any new projects!

Shak is excellent. When I was looking for an electrician to install a new outlet for an indoor sauna, I was able to get ahold of him immediately and schedule a visit the same day to get a quote. He arrived promptly and wearing a mask, and did a great job of talking through our different options. When we had him perform the actual outlet installation, again he arrived on-time, was great with our yappy dog, and installed it quickly! The outlet looks like it was installed when the house was first built, thank you Shak!
The electricity in the garage was out. We could not figure out why. We got an appointment from Tarin Electric. Shakib did a very systematic examination, and uncovered that the culprit was a GFI outlet. He is very thorough and fast. He also explained his reasoning, which is very valuable. Had a last minute appointment for a simple broken light switch replacement. Shakib gave me a reasonable quote and was able to finish the job fast. He's very polite and timely!
I rarely write reviews, but Shakib was just amazing. Our movers accidentally took out our hanging lights as they were moving some furniture (in a very dramatic ordeal that deserves it's own story). We contacted multiple people and none of them knew how to fix the problem. Shakib came to save the day and was extremely prompt and professional. He gave an accurate quote, made sure to check on any building restrictions, sent pictures after the repair, and double checked everything before doing the job. Cannot recommend highly enough.
