Our neighborhood had power surge during high wind and had Ken come to fix it for our house. The demand for electricians were huge this week so he couldn't get us detailed report but he kindly called us to inform its coming. The work, suggestions, and communications were great. Thanks!

Job was to install a new fan/light fixture in bedroom & remove a ditto in kitchen and replace with a plain light fixture.  Eddie & Chris arrived on time and went right to work.  They cheerfully accommodated my own screw-up as I discovered at the last minute that the kitchen light fixture I'd picked was way too big and I had to make a quick run to buy another light.  They  made helpful suggestions, cleaned up properly, and did an added job replacing a light switch.  Only problem was that they didn't notice that the fan light bulbs supplied weren't compatible with the new dimmer switch.

It was time to replace my old school neon under counter lights with LEDs.
After seeing a few great reviews on Next Door I gave Luis a call. He actually answered the phone. I explained the job. He came over ON TIME the next day. Later that day I got a bid which seemed fair. The following day he showed up again on time, put on protective shoe covers, laid down a tarp and got to work. Three hours later he was done. I'm so happy with the fixtures he installed as well as his professional way of doing business. I can not recommend him highly enough.

We have just moved into a new house. Couple of days later, the lights in kitchen and garage went out. We were panicking not knowing what to do. We got Gavin's number from one of my friends.
Even before the visit, Gavin he asked the details on the issue and status. He came to my house on Friday night at his extra working hours. Me and my husband are so grateful for him!! Otherwise we would have to survive the darkness and inconvenience of kitchen and garage door not opening during the weekend.
He was very thoughtful, sophisticated and professional. He told us the loose wire was the reason of this issue and corrected all the loose wire. This was definitely going the extra mile. He made sure that we label each cords so we don't get confused later on. And finally the lights are back on!

Mikhail did a great job quoting and completing repairs! We had a few lighting issues that he was able to take care of, including an on the spot recessed light bulb change during the quoting process! We had the bulb but could not reach it to change and he was nice enough to get his ladder and do just that, free of charge! He is such a nice guy and will definitely be keeping his number saved for future jobs.

These guys are the real deal!  Even though there are not enough hours in the day we had an appointment that was kept and they came solve the problems we had.  Not only that they wanted to save me money by not going to get material and delaying the job.

Bathroom fan wasn't working, so I called a bunch of electricians in the area and David responded within a few hours. He agreed to come over the following afternoon.

An hour before our appointment, David called to apologize and let me know that he would be about half an hour late. I told him that wasn't a problem. He came promptly at our new time, and fixed everything within 30-40 minutes. He explained what he was doing throughout the process and gave a fair price.

Overall very pleased with the services provided--David seems like a nice guy and does honest work!

David was very responsive via text message during initial contact with him. However, in one of his text messages he mentioned he doesn't have a business license to work in Oakland. He is only licensed to do business in Alameda.

Max was the best electrician I could have hoped for. I needed help diagnosing an electrical issue in my home, and Max came to the rescue. Some highlights:

1. Max was very responsive via Yelp and was able to check out my home's electrical issue within 24 hrs of my sending a request.

2. He was kind and very professional. He wore shoe coverings and was diligent about taking them on and off when he entered and exited my home--which he had to do several times to see what was going on. He communicated every step of the way as he was diagnosing the issue and walked me through how he was troubleshooting, which I appreciated very much!

3. He was thorough and clearly an expert.

Bottom line: Max inspires confidence, gets the job done quickly, is great to work with, and his services are priced fairly.

I can not say enough about how wonderful Ricardo is. He came into a total mess of our electrical box and did incredible work. What we didn't know was we had live wires in the box attached to nothing! Not only did he probably save our house from burning, but he did not leave until it was totally fixed. Now working on a bigger project in Sonoma for us. Decision was easy as we know we can trust the team at High Voltage.

A few lessons learned on my part and the big one is make sure your electrician is license, vetted and reviewed. That how we found this amazing company.

Kevin is great.  He shows up when he says he will, he does the work and cleans up.  I had another electrician that started one job but disappeared, Kevin came in finished it without a problem.  His rates are reasonable.  I have used him a few times and definitely use him again.

This company looked great as I've seen their vans driving up and down in the Bay Area so when I had a heating and air conditioning issue I was happy  to call them.
The technician came and ran diagnosis and let me know that a wire needs to be replaced and it will cost $1,200(WOW).
I called 2 more companies to check as it didn't make sense why a simple wire will be that much. The two companies showed me a completely different problem and solved issue with $60!!!!!!!!!!!
I called the nice lady who booked the appointment and she transferred me to some guy, don't remember the name. He was awful! He started the conversation by saying WE DON'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS, I was shocked as I wan't that angry in the beginning but the way he attacked me right away for no reason I was shocked, it didn't stop there, he cursed me! unbelievable he actually cursed me and screamed at me.

I regret the minute I called them and I hope everyone will read the reviews and understand how they work.

Great work by Alex and his team. Reached out for a quote and World Electric was very responsive. Received a quote and agreed for work to begin. Within two days I had a fully functioning Tesla wall connector.  They were professional and left the area clean. I wish I didn't put this off for so long. Will definitely use them again in the future.

A Wire Guy was very helpful with my project. He gave me a good estimate on what it would cost to wire my house with cat6 cable and answered almost the questions I had, even though he wasn't able to make it out to my place in Benicia. Helpful, nice guy, who I would trust to work on my home.

We called R Pro Electric when one of our circuits stopped working. Mary offered to see if they could fit us in before their next available appointment. As it wasn't an emergency, I opted to just book the next open slot. On the day of service, Mary called to update us on the time of arrival. Within a few minutes, Osh diagnosed our problem. He also took a look at our panel (which is 30 years old), but said it was in good shape and there would be no need to replace at this point. He also told us the requirements for clearance around the panel (we had a rack too close), and took a look at the recessed lighting possibilities in two of our rooms. He gave us good information about our options. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his patience listening and explaining. We found our go to electricians. Do not hesitate calling this company if you need electrical work done. Honest people who do superior work.

Ertan is a great guy and so refreshing when most contractor type people never show up or follow through. We made an appointment for some rewiring and light installations in my building. He answered right away, made a plan for the next day. Then, he texted me before he came over and arrived on time. Then, he went out of his way to take care of everything in one visit. He's a super nice guy and really helped us out.

This is yet another instance when we say, What would we do without Yelp?!! Based on his reviews, we called Harry (or is it Perry?), the owner and he came out the same day. He was really nice and he found and fixed our electrical issue quickly. Also, his price was very good. Will definitely use him again in the future. Good experience!
