Great service at a fair price. What more do you expect. They came out same day, were polite, quickly fixed our water problem and chrarged what I thought was a very fair price. I will definitely use them again.

We had a defective gas stove in living room. Despite three visits and charges it was not working. The area was freezing. Conor and Local Plumbing diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and the stove works like new. He even showed us how the remote control worked- no vendor ever bothered to do this.   In an area where there are so many options, you'd be well-advised to use Local Plumbing.

This company has been in business for 115 years.  I wonder why ...

Okay, I actually have a couple of observations.  As far as I can tell, it's a one-man operation:  his whole business depends on his reputation.  His reputation is very, VERY good.

I hired Bob for the first time recently.  I had saved up a few problems that were beginning to become too annoying to ignore.  Not only did he address all the problems I asked him too, he addressed a couple more.  I was in a different room so I didn't even know.  When was the last time you hired someone who did MORE than you asked?  And didn't charge extra?  Actually, I know the answer: sometime in the 1950s.

We didn't realize our water was in such bad shape until we had it professionally tested.  So glad we worked with Steve - he was honest, professional and thorough.  We would highly recommend his company.

Edward is the plumber extraordinaire ! He's super responsible, honest, down to earth & very skillful at his craft . There were some challenging issues w repairing my old Jacuzzi. Other plumbers said the tub had to be lifted out of its base & fixed from underneath at a cost of almost $900! Edward was able to tie the tubing to a bamboo stick & pull it thru to connect it to the motor & it took only a couple minutes and saved me hundreds.
He's easy to talk to , the best plumber I've ever had !!!

It's 11pm on a Thursday. Your 20 guests have gone home, the kids are asleep, and you're ready to put your feet up, when you suddenly notice that your kitchen sink has water in it that seems to have Risen From The Deep. You reach for the disposal and the water goes down, until you notice that it's now rising in a prep sink 15 feet away. You shrink back in horror as both sinks now start to fill with brackish water as a foul stench fills the room, and you realized something is happening that is definitely beyond your ability to fix.

Oakland Drain Cleaning stood out in the crowd of Yelp reviews. Roberto wrote me back within 5 minutes, and was able to swing by this morning (after A+ communication, and an on-time arrival), and had everything snaked and fixed (!) within the hour for a perfectly reasonable price. We now have a for-now fix and a sense of what needs to be fixed to keep this from happening again (old house, old pipes, nothing surprising - we knew we'd have to replace a few parts eventually, and now we know the time is now), and we are just so immensely grateful. I'd give 10 stars. You would too, had you seen what we can't unsee. Thank you, Roberto!!

We had a clogged in kitchen at first they help us to snaked it and hydro jet cleaning it . In addition to that, they also inspect our pipes and identify the leak and fix it with a new one. Really professional and efficient. They also help clean up stain in kitchen and spray anti-viral cleaner. Finally, they also unclogged the pipe in our driveway.  Really really appreciated all the help here

We noticed water dripping out of a light in our downstairs ceiling (!) last night, and called Eric. He and his partner Jim came out this morning and quickly identified and fixed the issue (a leaky valve upstairs), with minimal damage to the ceiling and wall. They were courteous, professional and COVID safe, and even gave us a break on the price. Couldn't ask for a better experience. We'll definitely call them again for any future plumbing issues.

Sorry I haven't reviewed sooner, but actually I'm on the same page with everyone else. Jorge is the best. Friendly, genial, efficient, quick to respond to phone messages, super knowledgeable, and very affordable. He has done great work for us a number of times. Most recently, a horribly clogged kitchen sink drain. He also showed me what was wrong with the way the new plumbing there was done, when kitchen was remodeled about 12 yrs ago (hmm, thanks Home Depot...). Last time he was here, he did a great job of selling us & installing a new toilet. 3 years ago, we suddenly had no hot water. Jorge is the kind of conscientious businessman, who will actually tell you if a job is outside his business's range. He determined very quickly that what we really needed was all new pipes, including the one coming in from the street, and recommended that instead of having him do a band-aid job on the problem inside the house, the better choice would be to hire a company that specialized in that kind of pipe work. We've had him come for a couple other things over the past few years, but these are the 3 situations that I remember vividly. We originally found Jorge here on Yelp, so my thanks to everyone who had already recommended him.

Sean is a fantastic plumber. His work ethic and attention to detail are unparalleled in the plumbing business. You can be sure the job will be done right the first time around, and at a fair price. Whether it's excavating and laying cast iron pipes underground, or putting the final touches on beautiful finish work, he is an expert, and always gets it done in a timely manner. I really enjoy working with him, he's a genuine and honest tradesman, and an all around great guy. I plan on continuing to use his services from now into the distant future. Thanks Sean!

4 days ago I noticed the hot water in my kitchen sink had no pressure so I called my home warranty and they sent out superior plumbing. The plumber told me that my faucet had broke do to a pipe under my sink that was the correct size. He also told me that all of my pipes under the sink were done incorrectly.
After that he tried to sell me a faucet he had in his truck but I explained that it didn't match my kitchen so he put my faucet back together and he was going to contact my home warranty company to see if they would cover any costs. Two days later and calling them and calling them the plumber finally told us that my cost would be &45 for a new pipe and then I would have to pay $175 for them to install a new faucet (my warranty was going to reimburse me $115 towards a new faucet). I was okay with that and I asked if we could schedule for them to come ASAP. The plumber told me he still needed to contact my warranty company AGAIN. Ugh!  The next day I find out they upped the price of the pipe from $45 to $345!!!!! And was shocked! I then told my home warranty that this plumbing company seemed very sketchy to me and they agreed!!! Then that night as I was washing a pan my faucet literally broke off the base!! My faucet was perfectly fine before that plumber had come to my house and took everything apart besides the fact that my water pressure was gone.
Today I had a new plumbing company come to my house and he informed me that nothing is wrong with my pipes and that the previous plumber must have deliberately broken my faucet in half in hopes to make money off of me!!
My home warranty company is not going to use superior plumbing anymore.
Please people do not use superior plumbing. They cost me about $300 dollars and a huge headache.

Very professional, I called spoke to office manager Veronica gave me an estimate to fix my plumbing on my tub and toilet, told her I was going to look around and promptly convinced me why them... made an appointment and Alex the owner showed up to my house on time my issue was fixed within couple of hours, Alex and his crew left my house very clean, I will definitely hire them again if I ever need plumbing services ... thank you for the great and satisfying work ...

Charles is fast, smart, and courteous. We've called on him to solve two tough plumbing problems and will use him again. Nice to have a plumber you can rely on. Thanks, Charles!

Our kitchen sink was clogged so I turned to yelp to find a plumber. My husband called and got their voicemail but the message suggested texting the number listed. That's just what he did and within 10 minutes we were on the books for same day service. When Jason arrived, he immediately slipped those surgical shoe covers over his shoes before walking through the house. The clogged sink was taken care of in less than 15 minutes. Jason was very professional in uniform and so pleasant. Plus, although this has nothing to do with his performance, he greeted and pet our Shih Tzu when he first arrived! Anyone who is a dog person is on our A-list! So glad we know who to call should another plumbing incident occur.

If you're looking for opportunistic plumbers to take your money, then these are the guys.

My tankless water heater stopped working yesterday.  The water in our neighborhood went out, and the computerized unit shut down.  I googled tankless water heater repair and Bragg Plumbing came up, so I called.

The technician I talked with, clearly didn't want to come look at the heater. He went on and on about what a piece of junk the model was and that it should just be replaced.  I convinced him to come and look at it anyway which he did today.  He claimed to be an expert on the model from years of experience working with them.  After fiddling with it for a few minutes, he told me that it was the computer board.

He gave me an estimate of $1,500 to repair the unit, and said it would be two to three weeks to get parts.  He recommended I just replace the unit and gave me an estimate of $5,000.  I did research and a unit our size can be purchased for less than $1,000.  I asked him why so much, and he said that installation parts and labor would add to the cost.

After he left, I called another plumber.

The second plumber came out, opened the front panel, and pressed a hidden reset button.  The water heater was fixed in less than one minute!  It cost me $65.

I called Bragg again to ask why their expert didn't think to press the reset button. They gave me lame excuses and no apology.

Don't bother with these people.  They don't know what they're doing, except trying to get people to pay for unnecessary repairs.

Used them again last week, and they're so reliable and straightforward I want to recommend again. The owner Paul is a good guy, and the office Mgr Shawn very responsive and the plumber Chris is an expert no nonsense  person who got right into the best smartest, practical fix for my messed up kitchen sink drain pipes. Great job guys!

I just had GT Plumbing come to fix my kitchen sink leak. He called the day before to confirm our appointment and also called 30 minutes before to notify me that he was on the way. When he arrived at my home, he handed me his business card and went straight to work. He found the crack in the pipe, replaced it and was very efficient. He told me to call him if I had any further problems with the sink. I will definitely use them again for future plumbing issues.
