Best experience with a plumber ever! I'm sure it's not always possible, but Todd returned my call within an hour and was at the house just a couple of hours later. The hot water faucet in my shower broke and I couldn't turn the hot water off. I needed it fixed quickly (I shut the valve off to the hot water heater, which meant we had no hot water anywhere in the house). Todd was professional and courteous from the minute he greeted me to when he cleaned up and left. I'll definitely be calling him for future work and repairs.

We had a defective gas stove in living room. Despite three visits and charges it was not working. The area was freezing. Conor and Local Plumbing diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and the stove works like new. He even showed us how the remote control worked- no vendor ever bothered to do this.   In an area where there are so many options, you'd be well-advised to use Local Plumbing.

This company has been in business for 115 years.  I wonder why ...

Okay, I actually have a couple of observations.  As far as I can tell, it's a one-man operation:  his whole business depends on his reputation.  His reputation is very, VERY good.

I hired Bob for the first time recently.  I had saved up a few problems that were beginning to become too annoying to ignore.  Not only did he address all the problems I asked him too, he addressed a couple more.  I was in a different room so I didn't even know.  When was the last time you hired someone who did MORE than you asked?  And didn't charge extra?  Actually, I know the answer: sometime in the 1950s.

They did an awesome job. They arrived on time and did a meticulous job. Steve came back to check the water meets criteria after installation to make sure everything is fine. The system is sleek in design. Highly recommend them!

Edward did an excellent job reworking the plumbing in my now Condominium to meet San Francisco code when I was converting it from a Tenants-In-Common. He skillfully relocated the plumbing for one toilet and installed a wall-mounted toilet. In addition, he pulled the required permit and ensured that the city inspection passed for the kitchen and both bathrooms.

Previously Edward helped me to unclog a bathroom drain, which has since been working perfectly for the past 2 years.

I'd definitely recommend Edward as a reasonably priced and friendly plumber.

Fixed a gas pipe leak the next day. Suggested a glue for gas pipe over replacing the whole thing and saved me $$$. Wore a mask and boot covers when entering house.

Roberto communicated quickly after sending out a request for work.  He asked for detailed pictures of situation to provide a quote and scheduled appointment for next day.  He arrived 15 minutes early to appointment and got right to work reviewing area (including going under house into crawl space to review pipe layout) to confirm original quote and suggest approach to solve problem.  Work was then completed quickly and thoroughly.  I will use this company again in the future and recommend to all of my neighbors.  Thank you!!

We had a clogged in kitchen at first they help us to snaked it and hydro jet cleaning it . In addition to that, they also inspect our pipes and identify the leak and fix it with a new one. Really professional and efficient. They also help clean up stain in kitchen and spray anti-viral cleaner. Finally, they also unclogged the pipe in our driveway.  Really really appreciated all the help here

For many years now I have relied on this outstanding plumber (and person!). I refer to him as excellent Erik because he is exactly that. Excellent.

I texted Jorge at 3pm on a Thursday to ask about installing a hot water spigot to the outside of my house. He came the next day and was really friendly and great to work with. He did a great job and gave me an unbeatable price. I'll be calling him for all of my future plumbing projects and highly recommend at least getting a quote from him.

My neighbor recommended Superior to me when we had problems with our drains. From the initial contact on the phone to the (quick!) service call, they were professional, courteous, and effective. Vincent and his coworker (sorry I forgot your name!) arrived early (I got a call ahead of time asking if this was ok), and diagnosed the potential problem very quickly. They charged $49, even for a visit on Memorial Day. I will call them again without hesitation if we need more plumbing work.

I've been in Real Estate for Coldwell Banker for 32 years. I needed a sewer lateral completed on my client's property in Oakland. Alex came out the same day I called him...NO DRAMA and had the work completed in one day with permits! I received my Certificate from EBMUD the following day. Jason Zajac of JZ Pipleline Plumbing is the boss of his own company!!! He is awesome! Very professional, fast, and friendly service. He was in contact with my husband via email to make arrangements to install a copper P-trap pipeline for our new home, for our washer and dryer. Everything went smooth! We made our appointment to meet. Jason came minutes early prior to his original appointment, examined the area of where the installation was going to be, and advised us that he will return with additional tools and parts. We were totally fine with that. When he returned, he explained what he was going to do step-by-step, then he was on his way. It took him probably about an hour to install everything and it was a fine and clean job! He even did a test and ran water through the pipe to make sure there weren't any leaks. We were 110% satisfied with his work! He also charged a very reasonable price. He gave us our receipt and explained to us if we ever need assistance with the P-trap pipe in the future, to simply give him a call. We were VERY satisfied with his work and kindness. Hopefully we don't run into any major plumbing issues in the future, but we are definitely going to call Jason again if we ever do! Thanks again Jason for all of your hard work and keep up the great work! :)

Tracy from Bragg quickly identified and fixed the leak under my sink.  He also provided an estimate and recommendation for some other work that was clear and honest. I'd definitely call them again.

Their quote came in much higher than any other plumbing company for a trenchless sewer lateral replacement.    Seemed honest but not really interested in doing the job.   I think of this as 'the yelp effect'.   Sometimes when companies have lots of yelp reviews, they become more expensive than everyone else.

My home warranty company referred me to GT Plumbing to fix a leaking shower faucet.  After reading some of the reviews here on Yelp, I was a bit skeptical and hesitant to follow through, but I'm glad that I did.  The guy who helped me, knew exactly what to do.  He was very, very friendly and courteous.  He replaced the washer and was done in less than fifteen minutes.  In fact, I even asked him to look at an issue unrelated to my service call, and he was happy to assist.

I wouldn't hesitate to call him back for further issues.
