We had a horrible leak that caused the water company to come out and warn us. I messaged Jason and was able to have him come within the next week and he fixed our leak! It gave us peace of mind. I was at work and he was calling me each time he needed to purchase something and kept me in the loop of the pricing and why he needed to do it. I was very happy with Pipeline Plumbing and will for sure be reaching out again!
Jason was a god-send... Great communication, great personality, knowledgeable. He ask questions that make you feel like he is vested in your success. He charges by the job and that can be a bit pricey, but I was grateful for the service and he got the job done.

Jason was GREAT to work with. We had to replace a very old water heater. He was helpful throughout the process from consult to installation. Also appreciated the mechanical run down of what was installed and the whys. Would def reach out to him again.
Jason was fantastic! He helped me diagnose a low water pressure issue. Unlike my experience with past plumbers, he was willing to dialogue and patiently explore what the issue(s) could be. He was kind, courteous, and friendly. I wanted to learn what he was doing while he was doing it, and he took the time to explain and educate. Oh, and the water pressure issue was fixed! Highly recommend.
Jason diagnosed and fixed a hot water pressure issue in my shower that had stumped a previous well-rated plumber (and was also missed by the original contractor who installed the shower). Communication was great, it was easy to schedule a time with him via text message and he arrived on time. After I showed him the problem, he explained his theory on the problem and it was very knowledgeable and more detailed than what I got from the previous plumber. When he opened things up, his theory turned out to be very close, there was just an internal cold water valve that was set incorrectly. The shower is now working great, and Jason saved me thousands of dollars from the previous plumber's recommendation of tearing out the whole thing, replacing and re-tiling around it.
I had two projects - I needed a sink hose replaced and a new toilet refill valve. Jason showed up on time and was very efficient, getting both jobs done within an hour. He even tightened the faucet that was coming loose from its base and installed a new stopper for the toilet in addition to the refill job.
I'll definitely use Pipeline Plumbing for any future needs.

Upon my wife's insistence, (the drip was driving us crazy!!), we were referred to Pipeline Plumbing to check out our leaky issue. Skeptical because I am so fearful of being taken advantage of, we reached out to set up an assessment time and remained hopeful for a trustworthy business.
Jason reached out to us immediately, triaged the issue by having us send him a video the issue, the hardware and photos as well. He quickly diagnosed the issue and gave us a quote of $315, what I considered to be a fair price. Seemed to good to be true...even more skeptical, we proceeded.
Once Jason arrived at the house, he was super friendly, wearing his mask and took every precaution to bring the family at ease (due to COVID). Jason asked great questions and quickly got to work - he even helped me try to map out wear the critical lines were in our home. All without any grimacing or griping on my lack of knowledge about our own home. In short, he is super high on the EQ and IQ!!
Jason quickly fixed the problem, charged us the stated amount and left with a $20 tip to enjoy some beverages of his choice.
I will never go to another professional for any water related issues in our home.

I work with Jeffrey C (4/26) who recommended Jason immediately after getting his help. I had a similar low-pressure issue as well as a separate leak. Agree with the reviewer about the booties at front door! So thoughtful and courteous. Setting up the appointment was easy and he communicated schedule changes in advance, no problem to find a time that worked for us both. He took the time to check all around even after resolving the primary issue and got us better pressure at multiple outlets. He changed one item and when we gave him the option to change more he said it wasn't necessary at this time, didn't take advantage of us. Will definitely call Jason first for any plumbing issue. Payment by Zelle or CC, so check with your landlord if you're a renter and need them to pay.

Jason is professional, efficient, and has a great personality. He even covered his shoes before entering the house to keep my floors clean, which was much appreciated. I called him to replace a 2 year old Symmons kitchen faucet (ugh. only 2 years old and already leaking. Don't get a Symmons, guys) with a new Delta that I bought off of Amazon, and he did the switch in 30 minutes. He gave me some tips on other easy to repair and reputable plumbing brands for my own knowledge, which was also very helpful.
He's responsive via text for scheduling and giving price estimates,and takes payment via Venmo (yay!!!!) and check. Thanks again, Jason!

Pipeline plumbing is as advertised. Admittedly my job was relatively straightforward: my garbage disposal had clearly become warped in some fashion and was leaking, and I needed a new garbage disposal installed. So it was a click, whirr, and thank you sir kind of job.
But Jason showed up on time *to the minute*, with a properly sized disposal in hand, and the job was done within 45 minutes, including replacing a bad gasket. I paid the exact price we agreed upon through Yelp's request a quote system, which I have to say worked quite well.
And that's exactly what I'm looking for a plumber: punctuality, quality, speed, and quotes in advance.
My garbage disposal was leaking and I decided I just wanted to replace it. Reached out to Pipeline Plumbing through Yelp and Jason responded that same day. Showed him a picture of the leak and he quoted me on a price right away. It was way cheaper than the quote given to me by the first plumber I had come by.
Jason arrived to my condo on time, with all the necessary equipment, and new garbage disposal in hand as well. He was in and out in about 30min. Super quick and clean (he had booties, and a mat so that nothing in my kitchen got dirty). Also, he is a super friendly guy. Would definitely recommend Jason for your plumbing needs.

Jason is very friendly and did the job perfectly! I contacted a few plumbers before choosing him and he was very responsive available right away. I needed to replace the faucet in the kitchen and the shower head and he did that plus helped me with some issues I had in the bathroom with no extra cost.

Jason installed a new hot water heater, expansion tank, and pressure reduction (thing - can't recall the name) for me a couple years back. He was great to work with, super nice, and answered all my questions. Everything has been working great since then.
He came back again recently to install a new garbage disposal and do some other minor work. Again he was awesome to work with and everything works great.
He also got along super well with my dog!
Jason is absolutely amazing. I had an old gas pipe sticking out my ceiling that I wanted cut so that I could install a proper light fixture. The work ended up being WAY more involved than we thought it would be at first. You might say Jason should have anticipated this if he was super knowledgeable, but I do not hold it against him - the pipe work from the original construction was very weird.
Jason wasn't deterred. He cleared his calendar and with a smile on his face performed incredible surgery on my ceiling to get the job done. Another plumber might have thrown their hands up and said forget it.
To top it off, he went and got spackling paste and restored the ceiling when he was done. All I need to do is some sanding and touch up painting. That is a VERY small burden given the amount of work Jason took on.
I would recommend Jason to anyone anywhere any time.

Jason does good work but not as knowledgeable as I had hoped.
My tenant had a leak in the kitchen sink area. Jason said it was caused by the faucet. $500+ later the leak was still there.
He then wanted to charge me another $100+ to change the drain pipe. I said NO.
I hired another plumber who found the issue and repaired it. It was not the drain pipes.
Paying these rates you would hope they would know what they are doing.
Probably will not use him or Pipeline again.
After our hot water heater went out we sent a quote request to many plumbers through Yelp. Jason was one of the first to respond, with the most competitive quote and took care of us, on a holiday!
Quality of work was exceptional - we thought the last guy had a done a good job, but after Jason was finished, the hoses were a work of art.
Local and sole proprietor, he provides a fantastic service and now after 30 years in the city we feel like we have a plumber : ). Thank you!

The guy that repaired our house had to hit three stores to find our part and did so without extra charge or complaint. When he walked inside he wore shoe coverings and was a true professional.

Jason was able to fit us in to a same day open spot to fix a garbage disposal. He requested photos up front so he knew exactly what he'd need to be able to fix the issue ahead of time and quoted us a fair price. He showed up on time, is a very nice guy, and fixed the issue quickly and without any mess. Highly recommend going with Pipeline Plumbing for any plumbing projects! (Also, as this issue came up during the COVID SIP, Jason wore a mask/gloves/booties - thank you for keeping us safe!)

We accidentally flushed a face cream down the toilet and clogged it. Jason responded quickly on yelp and arrived on time. He has both gloves and face mask on when he arrived. He brought all the tools including paper towels, floor blankets, and Clorox sprays. He did an amazing job. Would recommend him!

Jason succeeded where other plumbers failed.
We have a problematic Kohler toilet that requires disassembly of certain parts to service it. When it started running, another five star plumber we found via Yelp claimed it'd be more cost-effective to replace the entire toilet! Given the toilet itself is just 8 years old and already was a high-efficiency unit, I thought that was overkill.
I reached out to Jason via Yelp. He arrived right on time, promptly diagnosed the problem, and had our toilet running like new in no time (at FAR less than the cost of a new toilet!).

In the middle of a global pandemic, the epoxy holding my sink to the underside of my bathroom counter decided to fail. Jason promptly got back to me saying that he could help and was willing to quote a price based upon a few photos. He came out and quickly completed the work on my failed sink as well as preventative work on a second sink to ensure it doesn't also fail. He also took appropriate precautions to keep himself and us safe by wearing protective clothing and a respirator which I really appreciated.
I just had a great experience with Jason. Today I had an appointment set with a guy named Phil, but that guy cancelled an hour before (ugggh!) - so I texted Jason and he said hey I happen to be free at 3:30pm-4pm range and so I locked that in. Jason came by, pointed out what was wrong (the p trap and some other part in my really old kitchen sink), went back to his truck to get the parts, and installed everything. He was great and now I know to go to him first! (Btw in this day and age I think he's the only plumber who uses text as well, which is way better than phone tag with other plumbers)

Jason has fixed my leaking toilet, installed a new water heater and most recently a kitchen faucet.
He always responds quickly and his repair costs are reasonable.
Most important , he is trustworthy and is very personable.
Can't recommend him enough.
Our water heater came to a dramatic end one weekend and Jason from Pipeline plumbing quickly responded with a direct and fair estimate. From quality of install, to accuracy of quote, to communication, to cleanup Jason did a great job and I would highly recommend him for future projects.
Update: Hired Jason a second time when dishwasher blew out and he did a great job once again. 5 stars.
Our inspector noted that we needed to replace the gas line to our stove with a modern flexible hose, and his estimate was astronomical. So I'd been saving money for a few months before finally biting the bullet.
I contacted Jason for an estimate and it was well below what I'd been told to expect (by literally thousands of dollars!). Came on time, put booties on his shoes to keep our floors clean, was finished within 30-45 minutes, and both friendly and communicative.
The only downside was he forgot to re-light the pilots to our gas appliances (this wasn't a huge deal, we just forgot about it and were confused the next day when the shower was cold and the oven wouldn't turn on).

Our garbage disposal was leaking. I contacted Jason and had a response within minutes together with a quote and appointment time.
Jason was on time, efficient, friendly and took care to be respectful of our home by wearing shoe covers etc.

Simply the best. Jason has been taking care of my 1930s townhouse for years. Always gracious and will fix any issue without an ounce of drama. Jason knows what he is doing.
I watched him once catch a mistake by another plumber working next door and very gently showed him a way out of the jam. Since our pipes are connected townhouse to townhouse, I was greatly appreciative. It would have been a mess otherwise.

Never written a review so quickly but Jason was great.
He was so responsive via text in giving me a quote and setting up a time to come over.
When he came over, he was friendly and got right to work and was in and out in 30 minutes to remove and install a garbage disposal. I appreciated that he was wearing those booties inside my apartment even though it was totally not necessary.
... and I'm just throwing this out there... he's easy on the eyes too!
Wow, Jason is a both a pro and a good human being. He helped with some plumbing and home improvement. I had a toilet and vinyl baseboards that needed repair - he did an A+ job. His pricing is good, and the Quality is superb. He is a perfectionist. I also appreciated his communication via text, was timely and polite.

Jason @ Pipeline is awesome. I had two somewhat pressing issues - toilet leaking brown water from the base, and leak under the kitchen sink. He was able to squeeze me in same day - he quoted a fair price, and completed the work in less than 2 hours. Extra points for clear communication, and for making sure the workspace was nice and clean when he finished the job. Love that you can text Jason, and that he responds quickly. Definitely recommend, and will use again.
We had a leak in the bathroom sink and Jason came out within the hour to repair it. He was super nice and told us what he needed to repair and why and went straight to work!
He went above and beyond what I figured would need to be done (preventative to make sure the same thing didn't happen again), and the price was very reasonable. He also left the space cleaner than he found it.

I had a cranky disposal. I bought a new one to have on hand when he came in case replacement was needed. My strategy was I could return the new one if the old could be fixed but if not, he could install the new one right away. That is exactly what happened.
Because of the sink I own, the installation turned out to be a bit tricky, but he did it and he did it right. Kudos.
Water heater died, I knew it was coming but wasn't ready to let it go, when I should have! Contacted 9 plumbers, 1 too busy, 3 responded back, still haven't heard from any of the rest. Oh well, of the 3 Jason from Pipeline was most friendly on the phone, thanked me for the pics I sent and was available this afternoon to install. Awesome, it didn't hurt that he was the most affordable of the 3 quotes received. He showed up prepared, new water heater in his truck, did the removal and install in about 1 1/2 hrs and put the door after getting paid. Very much appreciated his promptness, attention to detail and of course easy on the eyes, I mean wallet!
We originally contacted another plumber, and they suggested that we replace the entire faucet, since they couldn't identify the problem.
I even called the faucet manufacturer, and they led me down the wrong path in search of a solution.
When Jason came, not only did he discover and fix the problem in 10 minutes, he was also super friendly and answered all my questions about what he was doing in great detail, so that I could repair it myself the next time it happens.
He even covered his shoes when he came in to keep my place clean. I would totally recommend Jason for future jobs.
One more very satisfied customer. He installed a new kitchen faucet, fixed a leaking toilet, and re-seated a bathtub drain quickly on for the price he estimated by text before. Jason is easy to communicate with, personable, covered his shoes, knows his stuff, and charges a fair price. This is the guy you want.
Jason is an all-star. He is fast to respond, has excellent pricing, and his reviews are well earned. From start to finish, my issue was fixed within 48 hours of the original call. He definitely has my highest commendation, and will be back to my home for any additional issues that arise in the future.
After having an absolutely miserable experience with Hetherington General Contractors (and we're not talking about the actual services, they didn't even get that far with us), we searched high and low for a contractor who could fix our leaky and malfunctioning faucets around the house. Jason with Pipeline Plumbing was packed with praise here for his reliability, efficiency, professionalism and quality craftsmanship.
Shortly after leaving a message with him on Wednesday, March 16, he scheduled us in for Thursday, March 17 (he actually had a slot open for March 16 but we wouldn't be available) in the morning. Jason came right on time, evaluated our faucet problems, promptly gave us an estimate for his services, and then jumped right into work. Within 30 minutes he had fixed both faucets and the price for his services were very reasonable (since we don't know what the market value for such services would be now, we are comparing the price with the prices charged by Hetherington for their past services to fix our faucets).
It's difficult to come up with other ways to describe Jason's professional service, other than the ones posted by all the positive reviewers here, but trust us when we all say that he is truly professional, dedicated, knowledgeable, timely and fair. There is no doubt in our mind that we will be repeat customers of Jason and Pipeline Plumbing for all of our general contracting and plumbing needs. I've used Pipeline Plumbing twice. Once to replace a shower cartridge (very complicated)/ faucet & a kitchen faucet. Service was punctual, professional & reasonable. Used pipeline to fix a leaky sink. Everything about the work was completely professional. I recommend this company.
We left Pipeline Plumbing a message on a Sunday and by 2pm the next day our plumbing issues were all fixed. Jason evaluated the situation, got replacement parts, unclogged a bathroom sink and replaced the valve in our toilet - all in less than an hour.

I was very pleased with my experience with Pipeline Plumbing!
First, they actually called me back! So many of the plumbing services I called didn't even return my call within a reasonable timeframe. Pipeline called me within 24 hours and was available the next day to come fix my leaky shower.
Second, he was knowledgeable and able to fix my leaky shower within a couple hours. He even went to go to the hardware store to get a new shower head when that's what was required.
The only reason I gave four stars is because there wasn't any clarity on pricing before Pipeline did the services. Once my shower was fixed they told me how much it cost. Fortunately, it was affordable, but had it been much more or otherwise an unexpected amount I would've been in a situation where I had no idea how much the repair would cost before the plumber set to work. Pipeline, please be more clear about your pricing before you finish the project! Otherwise, keep up the great work!
Needed to replace garbage disposal during COVID-19 crisis. Jason was extremely responsive, courteous, timely (showed up early) and got the job done quickly and efficiently. He also wore protective gear and was friendly and polite. I definitely would recommend his services!
We recently moved into a Victorian house in downtown SF. The kitchen sink of ours was not properly sealed all around, and that led to water leaking underneath. I contacted highly reviewed plumbers on Yelp, and Jason @Pipeline Plumbing was the expert that fixed the sink seal perfectly. He offered upfront pricing after understanding what the issue was, was on time, very courteous, used overshoes, answered all my questions, and was efficient with his work. When it turned out the fix required a bit more work (adding 2 screws to make sure the sink is sealed tight in the right side), he adjusted the pricing and it was very reasonable. If something else happens with plumbing in our house we know who to contact.

Jason was speedy, knowledgable and honest. He gave the lowest phone estimate of anyone I called (for fixing an old single-handle kitchen faucet that wouldn't turn off properly), and the live estimate was even much less than that.
I can't guarantee you'll have a similarly pleasant price surprise, but I can pretty much guarantee that you'll get a great plumbing fix at a great price. Five stars.
Jason did an excellent job in repairing, actually replacing, a leaky kitchen sink faucet. My problem was not an emergency but he was able to diagnose the problem and recommend a solution, which involved purchasing new hardware which he was able to expedite and even picked up the part and installed it all in the same afternoon.
He was friendly, easy to communicate with and very flexible and responsive with my urgent plumbing need. He was also neat/tidy and his fees were very fair!

I called Jason to reroute a water pipe in a listing I had in the Lake Street area and he was absolutely wonderful. Returned my call promptly, was able to schedule a time that was convenient for me, showed up on time (in fact early), assessed and completed the work promptly, and charged a fair price. Also a really nice guy! This is the way business should be conducted (though unfortunately rarely the case) and I will definitely use him again. Highly recommended!!!

One of the pipes under the sink corroded through and was leaking. Jason responded to our text message within about an hour and called us back --he happened to have a slot open and came over right away. He replaced the pipe and then helped us snake the rest of the drain pipe as well. Everything works perfectly now, and it took less than an hour!
He's also just friendly, courteous, and professional. Little details like putting on shoe covers before entering house, making sure the work area in the bathroom was cleaned up before he left etc really made a great impression. His pricing is also very reasonable.

Jason is outstanding. Answered my call within 30 minutes (that alone is amazing) in the AM, was here by mid-afternoon. The price was beyond reasonable, especially compared to another longtime, yet unnamed, plumber in the area.
It was the small things as well, like having disposable shoe covers. I could care less if he makes a mess but it was a nice, professional gesture.
The job itself was done quickly and well.

Five star service for the best plumber in sf I have ever worked with.
My salon had a water heater failure that left us in bad shape. I called around to get help and Jason was super responsive. He was able to find the exact water heaters we needed and be on site quick to start the installation.
The installation was a bitch due to the location of the two heaters, but he just made it work with out trippen. I have had people come bid the job before and just go dark on me since it wasn't the easiest job. I would recommend Jason for anyone that wants an honest quote and an excellent job done. Stoked to have a person to rely on in this city.

I feel so lucky to have found Jason! My kitchen sink clogged up last night, and after spending 5+ hours on the internet trying to self-help I gave up and decided to contact a professional.
This morning I found Jason through Yelp, and he happened to be available in the afternoon and was able to come over, braving the rain outside! He ran a little late but hey, it's raining in San Francisco so understandably there is traffic. It's definitely not his fault and what mattered was that he let me know as soon as he knew he would be late.
He comes off as super nice yet professional, and is easy going and put me at ease right away. I asked to observe him work because I wanted to learn from him after the internet failed me last night. He was so patient with all my questions even though he was trying to solve my problem at the same time.
As he worked he was doing his best to keep our space clean, which I really appreciated because kitchen clogs can smell and overflows can stink up your place if not dealt with properly. Some water did splash out, but I'm only saying this to let you know that you cannot expect a perfect job from anyone doing something like this. He did amazing given the circumstances, and cleaned up more afterwards and even brought his own sanitizing wipes to wipe down the space for us.
After he was done he did 2 thorough tests to make sure the water was flowing properly and there was no leakage. Some people will leave after one test, but he took the time to do 2.
His prices are very reasonable, and did not try to increase the original estimate as I've read that some other businesses do. This is after I told him I would understand if the price is more than the estimate because he gave me an estimate over the phone first and some actual hands on time might have exposed something unexpected.
I'm not saying that I don't think he will ever give you a different price from what his estimate is, because the situation isn't always so straightforward. What I am saying is that if his prices do turn out to be slightly higher than the estimate in the end you should know that he is an honest and trustworthy person. The price is right, and the increase will not be from dishonesty or greed.
If we have another plumbing problem Jason will be my first choice for sure. :)

Jason was one of the nicest people I've ever worked with. He was exceptionally professional, prompt, courteous, and efficient. He arrived a few hours after I had an emergency kitchen drain flooding issue. He went over and beyond to make sure everything was done perfectly and I would use his services again in a heartbeat.

Jason was great. He showed up when he said he would and had a quick look at the leak on my kitchen faucet.
I had thought that there was a problem within the unit, which was causing water to pool around the base of the faucet. With his plumber's eye, Jason caught that the problem was something loose on the hose, which only needed to be tightened for the leaking to stop.
No new parts needed. And, on top of that, NO CHARGE FOR THE CALL.
Jason didn't earn any money from me today, but he did get a new customer, as he will be the #1 person to call the next time I have a plumbing problem.

I had a leaky faucet and called Pipeline based on their reviews here on Yelp. Jason called me back in a reasonable amount of time and set up an appointment. He was on time, friendly and professional and fixed my faucet in about 20 minutes. He knew almost immediately what the problem was and when I asked, he was able to explain to me the problem and show me what he was doing in a manner that I could easily understand. (my knowledge of plumbing is next to zero)
I would totally use Jason again and highly recommend him to anyone in need of plumbing repair.

I see why this place has 5 stars. Knowledgeable staff, great customer service, and reasonable prices.
-They were responsive on a Saturday, and had someone (forgot his name) at my place within 3 hours.
-The guy put on clean booties before he came inside.
-He quickly found the problem.
-My heater is old and crappy, with no new part support, so he fabricated a flange to make it work and get it fixed ASAP.
-He explained everything he did.
-This cost me less than $100, and you shouldn't be able to get anyone to come to your house on a Saturday, leave to go buy things, and then complete the work for that amount. I felt guilty.

Jason is our go-to guy for plumbing. He has done two jobs for us this year - a sink faucet replacement and the valves for our washer and is fast, efficient and affordable. One of the best finds on Yelp ever.
Jason has done two jobs for us--a clogged bathroom sink, and installation of a new faucet on a water source in the back yard. Couldn't have asked for more professional service! We're rather new to our house and hadn't needed a plumber yet so I wasn't sure who to call. Jason called back soon after I'd left a message, listened to our problem, and was over later that day. For the faucet, he looked at our setup and discussed what we could do, and returned on another day with the equipment. Result: awesome new faucet (and he recommended a scrap metal place where we could take our old extra copper piping left over from that job--turned out to be worth $90!).
In short: great plumber! Knowledgeable and nice person who takes the time to listen; reasonable prices, tidy (no sign he was here except that our clog was gone!), efficient.
Jason came out the other day and replaced my water heater. He was very fast, honest, and professional. Will recommend to any of my friends having plumbing issues in the future.

I had tried to fixed a leak, but it required more then I could do, so I called based on Yelps reviews. Jason arrived early and repaired the leak in the plumbing of an old claw foot bathtub.
He was professional, knowledgeable and was kind to come in such short notice. His price was reasonable and fair considering I called him only 30 minutes prior to his arrival. It was lucky for me that he was nice to help me with my emergency.
I will not hesitate to call him or recommend him.
Jason is fantastic. Called me back promptly, at my place within 30 minutes, fixed the garbage disposal within another 30 including going to a local hardware store to buy the part, and stuck around to fix the drier ventilation too. Price was more than reasonable.

Jason at Pipeline was great! We had a complicated wall mount toilet installation and he dedicated himself to complete the job. He was professional, patient, respectful and honest. He quoted me a price and that is the price I paid even though the work was more complicated than he expected.
6 years later and my second time calling Pipeline to fix a clogged sink and shower. He did an amazing job. Quick and efficient. I live in a very old flat & have had my share of plumbing woes.
Lucky for me, I came across Jason's business on Yelp & it was right on!
Jason is super responsive via call or text.
He helped me hugely with, both, scheduled work (like moving shower head / detecting toilet had a fracture that could lead to leaks & replaced it) & the unscheduled (water leak through bathroom ceiling & chandelier - HORRIBLE surprise late on a Friday!).
Not only was he quick to respond, he even has saturday hours & worked overtime to ensure I did not have major flooding issue.
He is so tidy with repairs - place was almost cleaner than before repairs.

Jason came out on very short notice. Same day. Jason is really nice and cordial. I had a hammer noise coming from the master bathroom bath/shower faucet. I did a lot of research on my own and got a replacement OEM cartridge from the manufacturer via a local distributor. All Jason had to do was replace the cartridge. I thought it would be an easy job, but boy was I wrong. Jason worked hard and diligently for about 2 hours. He was totally committed to making sure the job was done well, correctly and thoroughly and I totally appreciate that! I will definitely recommend him to friends, family and neighbors.

Had a problem with a blocked drain from our sump pump below street level. Jason analyzed the problem quickly, made a couple of alternative suggestions for repair and we went with the least expensive. Jason finished the job quickly and expertly and now the drain is fine. Highly recommend for plumbing needs....quick, friendly, knowledgable and fairly priced. Will call again if we have any plumbing related problems in the future.
Not only did they pick up the phone during the hours their site says they are open - which is apparently a miracle unto itself with plumbing companies - but they fit us in same day. Ray showed up exact 15 minutes after his 15-minute courtesy call and he was nothing but professional (even offered to take his shoes off so he wouldn't dirty our white carpet). He fixed the kitchen sink, explained what the problem was and what he did to fix it, and also gave suggestions to avoid this problem in the future. He also cleaned up the kitchen after himself and stopped to pet my dog. Thank goodness for these people!

It's all true. I hired Jason yesterday for a leaking p-trap. Turns out the pipe was cracked. He soldered new section. Quality work at a fair price from an honest guy. I now have a new plumber!
Definitely 5-stars. Jason was responsive on the phone, friendly in person, and very easy to work with. He either wore booties over his shoes or took off his shoes when he came in to replace a leaky valve.
Highly recommend. I will definitely call him for any future plumbing needs. So, hopefully never again.
If there were 10 stars, I'd give Jason 10 stars. The ONLY plumber (out of many) who was able to identify and fix a difficult, frustrating multi-source water leak in our old San Francisco building. When other plumbers were giving outrageous quotes or not being able to find the problem at all, he not only identified and fixed the problem, but willingly cleared his schedule over the next three days to continue the repairs. Jason is professional, conscientous, beyond thorough. AND his prices were shockingly reasonable, less than half of the estimates other plumbers would give. Truly the holy grail of plumbers - and this is the first time I've provided a Yelp review for anything like this. He's a guy you can trust will fix the job, make sure it's fixed, and be fair.

I have found my plumber!
I first had Jason come by a couple of weeks ago to troubleshoot and fix a pesky reoccurring leak under my kitchen sink, as well as replace a bathtub drain system that had not been working for years- (despite my attempts to fix it myself watching Utube...,,).
Because he was so easy to work with and schedule the first time I also asked him about ideas of putting new vanities in both bathrooms. He carefully measured and gave me tips of what to look for and also noticed that the bathtub spout upstairs had rusted through and he could easily replace that when he came back.
I decided to just to replace the small and totally awful particle board 1970's rotted and not working well downstairs one,cause that bathroom has a beautiful clawfoot tub which deserved a better vanity. I searched the internet for one of that small size and it took me nearly 2 weeks to find a clean white (matching the Clawfoot) lovely cabinet and quartz sink job that IF Jason could work with the weird plumbing and tile and everything else wrong with that space could be bathroom changing!!
What I like about Jason a LOT, is that he was not thrown by the complexity of working on an old house, or the awfulness of what was behind that vanity when he took it out! 30 years sitting in the same place things get a little...gross.
Jason needed to replace the hot and cold angle stops as well as use some carpentry skills on the back of the new cabinet so that it could fit over my irregular plumbing, but all efficient, professional, and beyond competent,
When I saw my new cabinet-sink and faucet in place the bathroom was TRANSFORMED. PLUS Jason came with a perfect bathtub spout for the upstairs bathroom which no longer leaks ruining the grout.
Jason understands the type of problems that might occur with plumbing in old houses, and he fixes them matter of fact in a practical professional manner.

Jason just completed changing some old galvanized pipe out to copper in a bathroom. The area was difficult to access but he managed to get behind the walls for the shower without breaking into the travertine as well as replacing the piping to the toilet and washbasin. Everything he did was excellent and very professional.

Okay, so my water heater broke. I called and he was here instantly! And seriously, since I know nothing about plumbing, you really have to trust whoever you hire. He was able to show me that it was really broken, explained it all, went out and got me a new water heater and installed it immediately. He took the old one away. Our kitchen sink was clogged so I turned to yelp to find a plumber. My husband called and got their voicemail but the message suggested texting the number listed. That's just what he did and within 10 minutes we were on the books for same day service. When Jason arrived, he immediately slipped those surgical shoe covers over his shoes before walking through the house. The clogged sink was taken care of in less than 15 minutes. Jason was very professional in uniform and so pleasant. Plus, although this has nothing to do with his performance, he greeted and pet our Shih Tzu when he first arrived! I searched for a plumber for a while to help with the remodel of my home. And luckily Yelp led me to find Pipeline Plumbing. Jason is the best!! He was so great to work with for the few weeks that he worked at my house. It is a 70 year old house that needed all new water lines and sewer lines. With all sorts of complications from the city, he completed the project so quickly!

Jason is great and came very quickly on short notice. He fixed the issue (ahem) and cleared an additional sink drain---all in less than 15 minutes. His prices are also very reasonable. Would highly recommend!
Jason fixed the tank on my toilet today, which wouldn't stop draining and wasting water.
(He asked if he could use it afterward, which I found hilariously polite, considering he just resurrected it.)
He was easy to communicate with, braved the absurdity of SOMA traffic on a Giants game-day, wore booties to keep the floor clean, brought all the things he might need, and was done in just about 30 minutes.
Awesome service, great experience all around. No one likes to be in the position to need plumbing help, but if you do... call this guy!!!

Can't rave enough about Jason and Pipeline! Found him here on Yelp and he got back to me right away after I called. He gave me an approximate quote for replacing my bathroom shower faucet over the phone and came in $50 under the quote! He was able to come and do the work really quickly, as well, within 3 days of our speaking. He was incredibly professional and the worksite was spotless. He even looked at a couple of other problems and gave us advice. I would highly recommend him and will use him in the future!
I had a small pipe that leaked. They had me send pictures of the problem and used that info to be certain to have all the equipment needed to repair the leak at a normal price. They worked with me to arrange a mutually convenient time and arrived exactly at the agreed time. Pleasant man who took care not to make a mess ( towels down under work area) and double checked all connections. I now have a good plumber.
Called Pipeline on a Saturday morning an he arrived an hour later, diagnosed the problem, made the repair and charged me a fair price. I couldn't have asked fir better service and I'm happy to recommend him.

Plumbers you can trust are hard to find , Jason knows plumbing well and doesn't give up on problems that are tough. He is a pro ... He will surely be our go to guy for plumbing .. Trust me call him!
At the risk of sounding like a broken record given all of the great reviews on Yelp, Pipeline definitely deserves another5-star review. Jason responded quickly to my text and came the following day to repair my garbage disposal and unclog a toilet. He was friendly and efficient, and his quoted prices seemed very reasonable. The toilet was a relatively quick fix, so he didn't even charge me for it. It was a completely painless experience, and I definitely will use Pipeline the next time I have a plumbing issue. Can't recommend Jason highly enough!

When my toilet overflowed in didn't know what to do. Thankfully I called pipeline. They knew just what to do. The crew they dispatched cleared the line right away and recommended a company who could come out and clean up the mess! Lifesavers!
Jason is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick, with a positive attitude and a quick smile. He actually called ahead to see if it was OK to show up early, located my problem, and fixed with no fuss at all. Highly recommended.

Jason came out and installed a water heater when our old one died. A completely professional and satisfying experience. He's the best.
Jason is GREAT! Very honest, on time and does amazing work. He finished the job on time and per agreed price.

I called Jason today asking if he had any appointment available this week and he said actually, I just had a cancellation and can be there in 10 minutes if that works for you. Wow! Anyway, he came over immediately and did the work at a fair price. I'll definitely call him again soon for some more work.
Jason came over to look at a few odds and ends that showed up in my general home inspection. After turning on the hot water and seeing Lord Vigo -esque brown ooze shoot out of the pipe, we raised our eyebrows. We went to the water heater, noticed it was in pretty bad shape, and he was able to replace it the same day. He went out, got a new top of the line unit, and dealt with all kinds of wacky issues that come up in a neglected appliance such as this - chief among them a rusty slime coming out of a galvanized fitting that we would've been showering in and bathing our toddler. He made a brand new fitting out of brass and dealt with another random crap. He's coming back tomorrow to install an under counter water filter and redo some silicone in the shower. He is an awesome guy - laid back, professional, easy to get ahold of via text and is very reasonable with price. I apologize to his 4:30 appointment he had to cancel today due to my bad water heat not playing nice!

Definitely echo the other reviewers' positive experiences. Jason was:
- Responsive: He returned my call within 20 minutes.
- Prompt: He was able to schedule an appointment within 3 hours of my initial call, and arrived 2 minutes early (!).
- Tidy: Brought booties, and cleaned up after himself!
- Knowledgeable: Identified the cause of the initial leak, plus solved the extra toilet curveball I threw at him while he was there
- Prepared: He had all the extra parts needed in his truck
- Quick: He solved both the leak and the toilet in under 1.5 hours, the bulk of time spent waiting for the dishwasher to run so he could identify the leak source.
Really pleased with the experience. I hope I don't need a plumber again anytime soon, but if I do I'll definitely call Jason.
Phenomenal service. I needed an old porcelain sink taken down and a new one installed. After calling several places and either having no one return my calls or they were booked for weeks, Jason got ahold of me and was able to come that same week. His estimate was extremely reasonable and the new sink looks perfect. He was prompt, friendly and took my broken sink away for me! I would recommend him to anyone.
Jason was fantastic! I had to try and arrange for a plumber to replace some toilets at a house in SF, while I live in Sacramento. He helped us determine what would work, told me about the SF specific gallons per flush that I had no clue about, took pictures of toilets at the store, and was calling and emailing back and forth regularly to keep me in the loop. When I made a mistake and ordered an extra toilet, he even offered to return it to Home Depot for me so I didn't have to come to the city. In short, he was exceptional, and if we ever need a plumber in SF again, I will be using Pipeline Plumbing!

Jason is a savior! I called him late afternoon one day and though he was booked up, he was able to get here firs thing next morning. He was able to fix the problem right away, super courteous as well. He left area clean, wore booties, and charged a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

My new bathroom sink suddenly leaked after 6 years! Water was dripping into the sink cabinet below, wetting everything in there!
After turning off the water supply & removing everything in the cabinet, I went on Yelp to get a recommendation for a good plumber in my neighborhood. Pipeline Plumbing caught my attention with the 5 stars rating. Despite the high rating, I carefully read through each review to make sure that they are real. I called & described the whole situation. Thanks to cell phone camera & texting, I was able to take pictures to show & explained the situation to Jason. He was able to give me an appointment the next day. Jason was on time, professional, detailed & efficient---excellent, in my opinion! I have no experience in charges for plumbing service but I feel that he is very reasonable. I can't be happier with his service! I am definitely using Pipeline Plumbing should I have future plumbing problem & I am telling all my friends and neighbors about him. What an excellent professional!
Plumbing emergency! One of my clients backed up my system at work (ugh) which meant I had to close my business until I got it fixed. I called a bunch of places, but Jason was the fastest to respond and met me at 8am the next morning! Thank god for this man. He had everything ready to go before noon and I was back in business. He was also really sweet and very professional.

I tend to yelp only when I'm really happy or really pissed... I'm very happy with Jason at Pipeline Plumbing. We had to reschedule once because he had a plumbing emergency, and my problems were not so I understood.
He arrived right at 9am as promised, explained the problems with both of the toilets I had (which were in two completely different locations -- Mission & Soma), fixed them in about 1 1/2 hours, and did it for $200.
I would definitely recommend them and would call them again.

in the past 2 weeks. I have called 4 times. Left 3 messages. I have yet to get a call back.
This guy was great. He came to my house on pretty short notice and changed hoses under my sink that had rusted causing a major leak. It was a somewhat minor repair but crucial as I could not use my kitchen sink. Another plumber I called said he had to charge me over $200 for this repair (and I later found out the parts only cost about $16) but Jason did the repair for a very fair price and it has been a week and everything seems completely fine. I am very satisfied with this company and I rarely write one of these reviews.
Jason once again proved to be the best plumber in San Francisco! He came to my house, exactly on time, worked on a blocked drain that was impossibly clogged, referred me to another company with the equipment to do the job....and didn't charge me!
We are fortunate to have this kind of professional service in our city.
All these 5 star reviews are totally deserved! My apartment building was built in 1951. Jason replaced two old, separate hot and cold water shower valves, and installed a new single handled, thermostatic shower valve. He had to cut the tile wall in the shower and the plaster wall outside the shower and did a fantastic job. When the job was finished, he left the bathroom neater and cleaner than it was before his arrival. He also fixed a leak in the shower head without me even having to ask him at no extra charge.
Jason is everything you would want in a plumber; absolutely honest, knowledgeable, reasonable, neat, reliable, easy going, personable and gets the job well done! I'll definitely be calling him first for any of my future plumbing needs!
Jason Zajac of JZ Pipleline Plumbing is the boss of his own company!!! He is awesome! Very professional, fast, and friendly service. He was in contact with my husband via email to make arrangements to install a copper P-trap pipeline for our new home, for our washer and dryer. Everything went smooth! We made our appointment to meet. Jason came minutes early prior to his original appointment, examined the area of where the installation was going to be, and advised us that he will return with additional tools and parts. We were totally fine with that. When he returned, he explained what he was going to do step-by-step, then he was on his way. It took him probably about an hour to install everything and it was a fine and clean job! He even did a test and ran water through the pipe to make sure there weren't any leaks. We were 110% satisfied with his work! He also charged a very reasonable price. He gave us our receipt and explained to us if we ever need assistance with the P-trap pipe in the future, to simply give him a call. We were VERY satisfied with his work and kindness. Hopefully we don't run into any major plumbing issues in the future, but we are definitely going to call Jason again if we ever do! Thanks again Jason for all of your hard work and keep up the great work! :)

Early this morning the tank on my old, old toilet cracked -- it started at the top and cracked through the bottom. Needless to say, my bathroom was flooded. I did a search for local plumbers that could replace my toilet, but didn't hold out hope that I could get it done today. I thought I'd have to go to Home Depot to pick one one and then wait until Monday to get it installed. Thankfully, Pipeline Plumbing had fantastic feedback so I thought I'd give them a try.
Jason got back to me within minutes of my leaving a voice message. He already had toilets in stock so I made a appointment for this afternoon. While we were talking on the phone I went to the Kohler website to see the model he said he had and noticed that it was about $50 more than the price he quoted me. He said he gets the contractor's price and that he wouldn't charge me over that for the toilet. All of the 5-star reviews pretty much made my decision to go with Pipeline Plumbing a foregone conclusion, but that right there really cemented it for me -- that and the fact that I'd be supporting a family-run operation made it all the better!
Jason showed up on time, in fact, I think he was about 10 minutes early. He did a fantastic job, was professional, and was made sure everything was pristine before he left.
I will be keeping his contact information handy if I ever need plumbing services again and am so glad that I found out about them through Yelp.

I recently came home to a horrible smell in my apartment and brown/grayish water all over my walls and bathroom floor. Something had happened to the bathroom in the apartment above me and it all seeped down into my bathroom. Thank goodness for Jason at Piperline. He was diagnosing and fixing the issues within an hour and really did an incredible job with the plumbing, restoring my bathroom, and leaving no trace. I have to assume he is quite reasonable, as i'm sure my building management pays market rates. Though outside of his stellar work and reasonable rates, I prefer to work with Jason because of who he is. Jason is an honest, trustworthy, super nice guy that I welcome into my home anytime. I don't think twice about leaving keys for him and heading off to work. I even have a 15 yo dog that he is so wonderful with (when I'm sure it must be annoying to have a dog curious about what you're doing and eager to be your assistant!). There really is nobody else I'd want to work with; I highly recommend Piperline Plumbing. .
It's very simple; Jason is a consummate professional plumber. He just completed the installation of a new J trap, installed a new dishwasher (also cleanly cutting the new cabinet holes for pipes and electrical plug, a new garbage disposal, new faucet, connected a refrigerator water line and cut quartz countertop to install a new air switch for the garbage disposal. He arrived on time, worked constantly and methodically for four hours. Cleaned up and tested each appliances to ensure they performed and there were no leaks or issues. The finale came when he calculated the price. It was fair, reasonable and far exceeded my expectations. Unless you have an emergency and he can't get there; do not waste your time or money on anyone else. Wait till he is available.

I had what I originally thought would be a simple project: I needed to replace standard tub spout with one that has a diverter and hose connection for a handheld shower. Picked out the perfect unit and then learned that mine wasn't your standard run-of-the-mill spout (Grohe). I trust myself to unscrew old and screw in new but that's about it so when I was facing a task that may involve cutting and/or a flame its time to call in a pro. In came Jason @ Pipeline. From the very beginning I knew I called the right guy...he had me the moment he slipped on the shoe booties. As it turned out, I really have a knack for finding square pegs for round holes because the only way my cool new spout was going to fit was either going to require some tile removal or having a shiny spout sticking out with a length exposed pipe...I decided that all that was not worth it just for adding a hand shower to our tub (incidentally, all this is so we can wash our dog in the tub) so I made the call to abort. Jason was truly bummed that it wouldn't work out and was extremely sorry that we couldn't do it perfectly--do it right or don't do it at all. Having some degree of mechanical aptitude I totally understood the challenges and in no way whatsoever did I hold it against Jason. You know that you found the right guy when even if things didn't work out, you were still glad that he was there.
HOWEVER, the story does not end there. The following day, I received a call from Jason and he said that he thinks he has worked out a solution after finding the right part. Later that day he returned, bootied up, petted our dog, and a half hour later we have a shiny spout perfectly installed!
Truly impressed with Jason's skill, professionalism, communication, and genuine desire to make sure you're taken care of. Now if someone could please clone him I would truly appreciate it...

THIS is how a local business is run. Called in the morning with a broken pipe. Jason picks up the phone, he can be there at 2.30 pm same day. Shows up at 2.28 pm, provides a quote and fixes the problem. Super friendly, professional, etc. I've had too many unreliable contractors to even consider shopping around for a cheaper price. You get what you pay for.
Jason arrived at my house within 20 minutes of my first call. 20 minutes! For a plumber ranked #1 on Yelp and a new customer! This is incredible. He then managed to simplify and execute a job involving a clogged underground basement sewer pipe in around one hour. He used several pieces of motorized equipment and charged only $150. Cabrillo Plumbers came the day before and quoted a minimum of $600 for the same job! Plus Jason is extremely professional, friendly and intelligent. He gets the work done quickly and quietly, and then goes. No chit-chat, paperwork or hot air like many plumbers.
Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I found Pipeline Plumbing and felt as if I've struck gold here. Jason is efficient, fast, responsible, friendly, and charge very reasonable prices for the two issues we had - a leaky shower pipe and installation of an angled stop for the kitchen sink. He gave me a quote for the kitchen sink job over the phone and didn't oversell once he was on the job. A trustworthy plumber seems a rarity, but I definitely found that in Jason and Pipeline Plumbing. Without hesitation, I'd use him again for all of our future plumbing needs and have already recommended him to our friends and family!

I can see why Jason has 5 star reviews...he's awesome! We set up an appointment the evening prior and he arrived the next morning, on time. We had a clogged drain in the laundry area. Jason was upfront with his pricing, which is very reasonable. A couple of hours later, which included a trip to the hardware store for a part, and the drain is clog free! He is friendly, courteous, and professional. He also left the area clean. I told him that we also had rental property a few blocks away and from now on, if we ever need a plumber...he'll be our go-to guy!

What an amazing experience with Pipeline today and they didnt come in for service! My garbage disposal wasnt working so I called Jason for service. Before we agreed on a time he suggested I reset and loosen the garbage disposal and it stared working. Good to see a company with integrity. As long as I am living in the bay area, I will be using Pipeline for any plumbing related issues!

Fantastic. We had a broken pipe from an oddball installation the former owners had made that a previous plumber told us would cost several grand to fix (you would have to replace the entire unit). Jason hooked us up with a high-dollar design house (Bath and Beyond) who were quickly able to find the *part* needed, which only set us back $100. He is prompt, efficient, pleasant, puts on shoe-covering slippers to come in the house without you asking him...I couldn't ask for better.
Jason was great. I called 4 other plumbers on Sunday but no one was opened. Jason came over within 10 minutes and fixed the leak.
Just when you think great service at a fair price has ceased to exist, along comes Jason from Pipeline. He was dealing with old, old plumbing and a lesser person would have done a quick patch or given up. Jason took great care and was committed to doing the job properly. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate his skill and work ethic.

He did incredible work -- in the face of a *very* challenging, extensive job (read: dealing with a 100+ year old building's plumbing). Jason was amazing. He responded promptly, stuck to his very reasonable estimate and found a way to solve my shower problems in an attractive and most satisfactory way. I thought I was going to have to remodel and instead I had a working shower in 2 days! He's a problem solver with skills and integrity.
Fixed my broken kitchen faucet, running toilet and a slow drain. He was fast, polite, efficient and made it all very easy. Totally recommend.

Jason is the cure for fear of plumbers. Jason installed a new Toto toilet in an existing bathroom, and although it was slightly more complicated than he'd anticipated he stuck to his original estimate. He was a pleasure to work with, did a fine job at an unbelievably reasonable price, and cleaned up thoroughly.
Thank you Yelpers for leading me to Jason!!! He is great, awesome, superlative! Had a running toilet, a 10+ yr old Kohler one-piece. Read the Kohler Homeowners Guide which was absolutely of no help, then the Installation Guide which was a little help as to which direction to rotate/turn threaded rod for raising or lowering the water line. At one point, water finally shut off but when I flushed, water wouldn't run. Did some more adjusting and gave up so looked on Yelp, called and/or emailed 3 plumbers on a late Fri afternoon. Jason emailed me Mon morning with an estimate, explaining Kohler parts are expensive. Other plumbers either couldn't send anyone for another 2-3 days or didn't know availability of Kohler parts. Called Jason early Mon afternoon but his welcome message said he was busy until next Tue...oh no! Sent an email asking if he can come sooner. Sensing my desperation, he called during a late lunch break saying he could come after an hour. Magically he showed up on-time with the correct Kohler parts, confirmed fill valve was bad, and replaced it, inlet hose and flapper with efficiency and cleanliness. He even caulked silicone around toilet base. Not only did he fixed the toilet but also had it looking better. He even gave me a discount because job was shorter than his estimate!
