The response to my call about a clogged drain was rapid, even though it meant  arriving at 6:30pm and working in the rain.

They solved the problem and their charges were economical.

They ran some extra tests on my water connections at no charge.

It seems they take a genuine interest in the well-being of their customers.

I was in search for the lowest possible estimate to have my pipe replaced (which had collapsed) and ended up going with Van Go.  I am so glad I did!  Not only were they the most affordable plumbing company, but they got the job done with excellent customer service.  Van Go understands the permit process, codes, and fees of SSF and knows the various inspectors.  Eddie, my plumber made the extra special effort to keep me in loop of what was happening with the work on my pipe.  If you are in search for a plumber and you reside in South San Francisco, I recommend you call Van Go.

Paul went above and beyond to find the correct part for our leaking tub faucet. He showed up quick to the house and got the job done! Paul went above and beyond to get the leaking faucet in or tub fixed. Very professional and great at his job. Thanks again Paul!

Flow Masters was referred to us as part of our driveway pavement project.  It was a good opportunity to replace the ancient sewer lines.  Conor was prompt in giving us an estimate of the job involved.  The project team worked under a very short time frame and cleared our installation with the City on the second day.  Conor was always courteous and informative.  We got detailed pictures of the pipes under the driveway for documentation.

Stephen hung and painted 2 doors. He did great work and we were very comfortable having him in our home while we were working and napping. Explained thoroughly what he was doing. He is very professional and a great communicator.

Mike Hanyman did a great job and was responsive from start to finish.   Stan came out to remove the black stains from our exterior stucco trim and applied paint touch up to perfection.  The trim now looks beautiful again!  He worked carefully around the stucco walls and trim.  We are so very happy with Mike Handyman's service.  Thank you Mike and team.

Where to begin! What a wonderful plumbing service and customer experience I had today. From the moment I had minor flooding in my garage and reached out on Yelp to the very kind assistant eve scheduled me the same day, to the less than hour later when Vlad showed up, I was treated with thoughtfulness, respect and urgency to rectify the situation. To say Vlad went above and beyond is an understatement. He not only diagnosed the problem effectively but then did a ton of work to correct it. I will most certainly use this company again. So so pleased with how it all went today. Thank you!

Just-in-Time plumbing is a friendly, professional, local business.  The owner, Justin, is passionate about his work, he really loves what he does, and has decades of experience.  

My kitchen sink was leaking and I tried to fix it myself.  It worked for a few months, but then it got bad again so I called in the troops.  It turned out the pipe wasn't just loose anymore but had actually started to crack because it was so old and cheap.  Justin replaced the trap with a high quality part and and took care of some of the other cheap pipe going in to the wall to prevent further problems.

As a do-it-yourself kind of person, it was great to have Justin show me what he was doing.   I had a slow drain in the bathroom and Justin showed me how to clear the trap.  There is a quick-release piece that allows you to clear the trap easily that I did not know about.  Justin showed me how to take care of myself so I could avoid using Drano and making unnecessary service calls.  

He could have just cleared it and let it be until the next time I needed help.  Not only did he show me how to clear the trap, he made sure I could do it myself.  It was a little harder to do than it looked so it was great to actually practice.

We had what appeared to be a blocked lateral to the sewer line, water dripping in a difficult location. I called Jorge and, amazingly, within 10 minutes two guys appeared at my door. They said they happened to be nearby.

The located the problem--fortunately not a blocked sewer line--and the repair--a broken fitting--was handled immediately.

Could not ask for better or more professional and prompt service.

The waste line from our kitchen and laundry room, embedded under our slab foundation, were leaking and needed to be replaced - but we didn't want to destroy our new flooring. Marco came up with a great solution to efficiently bypass, took care of the permits and inspections, and his team did really great work at a very fair price. We are very pleased and will not hesitate to work with him and his team again!

I hired Selvin Plumbing to install a water heater. I was not in a rush, so I asked him to provide me with estimates for tankless and standard water heater installations. His estimates were very reasonable for both types of installations.  

I had him remove my standard 40 gallon water heater and replace it with a better model. He got the job done in approximately 2 hours.

While he had an excellent price and estimate for the tankless install, it was just not in the cards for us this time around.

I chose Selvin because he was professional, his price estimates were fair and his installation and knowledge was excellent.

I would hrecommend Selvin Plumbing to anyone looking for a full service plumber.

****UPDATE****

On 05/15/19 I hired Selvin Plumbing to replace a broken garbage disposal. He was easy to communicate with, set up a time to stop by and was able to replace the existing garbage disposal with a new one in under an hour.

Before leaving, they made sure to test all the connections for leaks and as expected, the job was done very well. The professionalism, quality of work and reasonable prices are why I continue to always recommend Selvin Plumbing and Rooter to others.

Our toilets were backed up and the first plumber we got spent 6 hours but couldn't figure out the problem.  Luis from Northern Plumbing came in and knew right away what to do- had the toilets cleared quickly.  He also took the time to explain everything to me.  Will definitely call Northern next time we have any plumbing issues!

Really helpful, nice guy. He didn't have what I needed, but spent a lot of time with me anyway. I would definitely come back.

Last Friday, we noticed our house getting cold and by the evening, it was really cold. We have radiant heat and I went out and felt the boiler and it was stone cold. Early the next morning (Saturday), I called a few boiler specialists including Innovative Radiant Heating. The owner, Ramnar Montoya, called me back quickly and scheduled time to look at our problem the same day. He confirmed what I suspected, our almost 40 year old boiler was dead (bad heat exchanger). I received a few bids that day but the bid from Ramnar was the only one that included all the details of the job (flushing the system, installing pumps and pressure regulater, etc). I liked that detail because I didn't have to wonder whether all the work we discussed was going to be included. Ramnar answered my many questions throughly and the more time I spent talking to him, the better feeling I got. His bid was very competitive and he didn't try to sell me things I didn't need; actually quite the opposite. At one point, I was interested in a more expensive boiler and he gently suggested it would be a waste of money. I ended up taking his advice. After reviewing a couple of more bids and many more questions to Ramnar, I hired his firm to install the new boiler. I asked him if he could stop in during the installation. He responded saying he would be doing the installation. I liked that. He was able to schedule the work quickly and arrived at our house exactly when he said he would. Ramnar did thorough, excellent, work and did everything he said he would. He was absolutely great to work with and very pleasant to have at our house. My utility closet and new boiler look great and our house is now warm and comfortable again. I am very happy to write this review.  With our next plumbing catastrophe, I will not hesitate to call Ramnar and Innovative Radiant Heating again. Thank you Ramnar!

Tim to the rescue today! He responded to my call immediately and fit me in to his packed schedule at the last minute. He cleared a bad clog in my toilet as well as the shower and gave me helpful tips and education that will help prevent and problem solve in the future. He was extremely polite and gave me fair warning about the prices ahead of time, and it ended up being extremely reasonable. It was also extremely easy to pay - he takes PayPal. I am so thankful I found Tim and will be using him for all my plumbing needs in the future! Highly recommended, don't hesitate to use his services!
