I have been using Lev as a plumber for my small building in San Francisco for over seven years and without hesitation refer him to anyone who asks me for an honest and reliable plumber in the bay area.  I referred him to another friend with a small building and she too had nothing but good things to say about his skill level, work product and honesty.  

This month alone I had plumbing issues in two separate apartment units.  Lev came out himself to fix one and sent one of his staff people to deal with the other issue.  Both matters were handled in a quick and efficient manner.  I received the bills in the mail last week and was satisfied with the charges.  I know with Lev I will never have an unexpected surprise once the bill arrives and the quality of the work is simply the best.

I also used Lev for a pretty complicated job on my main sewer pipe several years back.  Water was backing up into the ground level garage so Lev advised me to obtain a video of the pipe from the garage to the street in order to ascertain the cause.  We discovered that the roots from a large tree in front of my building cracked the  pipes and the gigantic roots were obstructing the pipe almost entirely.  Lev gave me an estimate for removal and replacement of the entire pipe which would have required us to tear up the whole sidewalk and part of the garage concrete floor (this is what another plumber had suggested as the only alternative).  However, Lev suggested that we attempt a more conservative fix before undertaking the expensive and time consuming route suggested by the other plumber.  I ended up saving thousands of dollars and have experienced no problems for the past several years.

I will never use another plumber.

We have been very happy with Yevgeny's work. He has helped us with electrical issues and repaired a major gas leak in our home. He gave us realistic estimates on the cost of the project. He also was very patient with the many questions I had. Yevgeny is a very trustworthy man, and we feel lucky to have found him on yelp. (Many Contractors in the city won't call you back if the job is too small, but Yevgeny is really there to help out on the many issues that pop up in home ownership).

ADVISORY! be sure to ask what the hourly labor cost is before they start. We were blown away when our bill showed up with charges of $172/hr.

The Yelp hours state that they close at 11 pm daily.  We had an emergency and called last night at 8 pm to which no one answered the call.  Wasted our time.

This is the second vendor I tried to call who doesn't clear out his message box.  I don't understand how people can run a business, not answer the phone and not be able to leave a message.  Guess work is good for him, I'll take my business elsewhere!

Luis and his team arrived at my house promptly at 8am and completed a new 50' sewer line to the city sewer by 2:20pm.

His team was professional and explained the installation from start to finish.

Luis walked the finished project with us and explained that if we experienced any issues he guaranteed his work with a 4 year warranty.

It's easy to say that Daniel and Gateway Rooter are a solid company with a professional staff. We are very pleased with the scheduling and the job itself. During this last visit, he installed a new kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, and an ADA toilet. In the past, we have also had him installed a water heater and fix exterior sewage pikes. We will continue to use Gateway Rooter. He also was very respectful about safe practices during Covid 19.

I submitted a request on-line and received a response immediately from Neighborhood Plumbing.  I was able to get an appointment that fit my schedule.  On the day of the repair, Leo arrived on time and was extremely polite, courteous and knowledgable.  The clog my sink had was more challenging to fix than expected.  Leo took the time and effort to get the parts and repaired it to my satisfaction.  I highly recommend Neighborhood Plumbing.

I sent a request for a quote and Paul responded within the hour.  We needed to have two curtain rods hung and some help with trim painting and picture hanging.  Paul arrived on time and did an excellent job for the price quoted.  My wife and I are very happy with the work and will defintley be calling on Paul again.

Marin was fast and did a very good job on our countertop and instaling our sink. His pricing is very fair. I highly recommend using him.

Got up this morning, discovered my old water heater had ruptured overnight.  Called W.H.O. and they had a tech out by 10AM.  The tech, Kevin West, had my new heater installed and working by 1:30.  Couldn't be happier with the thorough and professional work.  Would recommend them to anyone with water heater issues.

Our home warranty company assigned us to Tavor Plumbing to fix our sump pump. Although I was surprised that no one from the plumbing company called me quickly to schedule, it was not a rush job and therefore not a problem - when I called them the next afternoon, Rick answered right away and offered to come out the same day. He was courteous and professional, and most importantly fixed the problem. He also showed me the source of the trouble and gave me tips to keep things running well going forward.

My home is 100 years in age: for the better part of a year, I had age related and on-going plumbing problems: water pressure, ancient pipes, hot, cold, and colorful water issues, etc.

H&S answered all my calls in a reasonable amount of time;  all appointments were kept or changed by giving me alternate dates. What I especially liked were the  explanations of the problems:  what was going on, the repairs that needed to be made, and a reasonable guess at the price.  

Along with correcting all pressure water issues, Joey spent hours (with his father) replacing my prehistoric,  basement pipes.
I can now take an ordinary shower without be frozen and wash my hands knowing I'll get either hot or cold water.

I certainly would and have recommended this company to friends facing any plumbing repairs.

I've had a really awful experience with Chen's.  Poor quality work, have had to have them redo almost everything at least once, and the master piumber seems never to be on site, only his workers who are inexperienced and rude.  The price is low, and you get less than you pay for.  Avoid them at all cost.
