We went through 6 plumbers over the course of 4 months to fix a complicated issue and each plumber would come with their tool kit, ask where the issue was an say they needed to snake despite me sharing the history. Ed was the only one who mapped out the entire plumbing system before even asking where our issue was, he came up with a creative fix that saved us immense headache and financial stress and he navigated working with a nearly impossible personality who we are in an HOA with.
Don't ever call any other plumber again other than Ed.
Edward is the plumber extraordinaire ! He's super responsible, honest, down to earth & very skillful at his craft . There were some challenging issues w repairing my old Jacuzzi. Other plumbers said the tub had to be lifted out of its base & fixed from underneath at a cost of almost $900! Edward was able to tie the tubing to a bamboo stick & pull it thru to connect it to the motor & it took only a couple minutes and saved me hundreds.
He's easy to talk to , the best plumber I've ever had !!!

I called Edward at the last minute on Sunday, asking him to help install the p-trap under the sink after I installed a new garbage disposal. Edward was prompt, ensured no leaks, and quickly got the job done.

I would give Edward 10 stars if I could. Late on a Sunday night, in the middle of this pandemic, he totally saved my ass.
Let me set the scene: I was trying to install a bidet hose when every connector around the water supply to my toilet broke off in my hands. I had water pouring into buckets that I had to lug across the hall one at a time. I called everyone I could think of to call, but no one could come. Then I just started calling all the highest rated yelp plumbers (all while still hauling buckets).
Every plumber in the city was too busy to come out. So was Edward. The difference is, Edward took my call and he took the time (in the middle of his other job in Oakland) to walk me through getting my situation under control. I sent him pictures of my toilet and he patiently gave me a solution to carry me through until another professional could come the next day.
I live in apartment, and in the absence of Edward's support the only other solution would have been (as I understand it) to call 911 and have the water turned off to the whole building.
I haven't paid Edward a dime. He was just the voice on the other end of the phone during a crisis. He had no reason to help me but he did. Folks, this is the kind of guy you want on your side. Please pay him lots of money for his services.

Edward was helpful beyond my expectations. I called him on a Sunday afternoon for a leaking water heater. He immediately asked me the address in San Francisco and showed up in less than an hour. He sealed the pipe as a temporary solution. Next morning called me up with a few different heater quotes and by the afternoon everything was installed perfectly. I would highly recommend him.
I called Ed to replace a sink that I had accidentally put a hole in. My landlord mentioned something about needing to replace the entire sink top to get the job done, but Ed came by for a consultation and said he could replace the sink pretty easily.
He was professional and communicative throughout. He actually beat a competing quote by over $100! He finished the job quickly and saved us a bunch of money, call Ed for your plumbing needs!
I called Edward just before 8pm on Sunday with an emergency. Long story short, we were bailing water from a bucket to keep from flooding our bathroom. Edward was there within 25 minutes and solved the whole thing for us very quickly. He's efficient, professional, and friendly too. Thanks again Edward for saving us from a disaster!
I don't leave many reviews, but Edward saved me this morning when I had an urgent plumbing issue for a rental property in the Marina. He answered his phone immediately and was on the job in less than 30 minutes. Not only did he do an excellent job with the initial request, but went completely above and beyond when he found and fixed a subsequent issue in the wall that was a disaster waiting to happen! His price was reasonable, skill level 10/10, and was just an overall friendly, trustworthy, good guy. He even followed up later that afternoon to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend!

Edward was able to come to my apartment at 11am, only an hour after notifying him about my problem. After looking at the clog he told me he would be back around 3pm with other tools. At 4pm I called him and he said he would be there around 5:30. At 8pm I texted him and he said he wouldn't be able to come and that he would call me the next day. After the end of business the next day I still had not heard from him.
I understand that people run late and that some times jobs take longer than they should. But I find it unacceptable that he never called to let me know he wouldn't make it or to reschedule.
I had a clogged bathtub/shower drain. I called Edward, and within an hour he was at my apartment. In fifteen minutes, the drain was fixed and cleaned up.
Edward and his apprentice were fast, friendly, and affordable. Five stars.
I had a slow drain in my tub. I was getting new tenants in my apartments, so I had to find someone quick. I called Edward and he came the next day and investigated. It turned out this wasn't a quick fix.
To access the pipe, it required cutting a hole in the ceiling from below and accessing the pipe. He came back the next day and spent the morning moving the refrigerator, moving the built-in cabinet and cutting a hole in the ceiling and then fixing the slow drain.
I really like Edward. He is very personable and is very reasonable.
I called Edward on a Saturday when we had an emergency with our main line being blocked.
He came out later that day and quickly diagnosed the problem. He also discovered some access points down the side of our house which had been buried by some construction, unearthed, boxed and leveled them correctly to avoid future problems being as difficult to solve.
The next morning he had the whole system working perfectly again. Very happy with the result.

Edward saved my Easter Sunday dinner! We had a severely clogged kitchen drain and were considering cancelling the dinner we were hosting. I called Edward on Easter Sunday morning and he was at our place in less than 90 minutes. Less than 30 minutes after that, the drain was clear and our dinner plans were saved!
Like another reviewer said, Edward and his apprentice were fast, friendly and affordable. It was such a pleasure to deal directly with the owner of the business rather than a larger plumbing company.
Hopefully I don't need a plumber again, but if I do, Edward is my guy!

Edward did an excellent job reworking the plumbing in my now Condominium to meet San Francisco code when I was converting it from a Tenants-In-Common. He skillfully relocated the plumbing for one toilet and installed a wall-mounted toilet. In addition, he pulled the required permit and ensured that the city inspection passed for the kitchen and both bathrooms.
Previously Edward helped me to unclog a bathroom drain, which has since been working perfectly for the past 2 years.
I'd definitely recommend Edward as a reasonably priced and friendly plumber.

what a disappointment......edward showed on a sunday...did a good job
two weeks ago...i removed my one star..............now.....twice this week mon..and today..wed.
he was suppose to show.... to finish the job......
.....still waiting edward....not even a phone call..!
wasted two days of my time...thanks eddie........i thought
i found the plumber i wanted.....i guess not.

My bathtub was clogged. Ed was friendly and got it done in 20 minutes. He ended up arriving almost an hour later than he initially estimated, but these things happen, and it was super short notice (I called at around 4pm and he said he could be here around 6, but it was closer to 7). Would've been nice if I didn't have to clean the floor afterwards, but my bathtub drains now and I didn't have to skip a shower or sleep somewhere else. He was also the cheapest around and did it in a matter of hours, whereas other people didn't call back, or were busy for days. Can't be too picky when it comes to plumbing. Go Ed.
Ed was a savior! I need to have a working bathroom for my business and my next client was arriving in an hour. All it took was a quick call, just gave him my address and he arrived 10 minutes later. I've had to use a larger plumbing company in the past and it took forever, multiple phone calls and questions before they even arrived. I will definitely be calling him next time I'm in a jam.
I, unfortunately, have been having a number of plumbing adventures. Edward came to my rescue and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I was really worried about the scope of the plumbing repair and his calm demeanor (and patience) was very appreciated. He took care of the work promptly and cleanly with minimal disturbance. Edward was also kind enough to arrange for plasterers to come and repair the areas that had water damage. I also love the fact that he remembered we needed a pipe cover and took care of it when I wasn't home!

I called plumbtec on a Friday evening because there was a leak at my food business. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Ed came in the next morning at 9am and diagnosed the problem. Fortunately it was from a sink drain and not s sewer line. Ed repaired the leak the same day and was very reasonable. I highly recommend plumbtec for any problem. Many years earlier he put in a complete sewer system at a remodel for one of my homes. Excellent work!
Ed is the best, really nice guy, punctual, courteous and knows exactly what he's doing. Had a super stubborn clog in the tub that he managed to snake in less than 15 mins. I've used a number of plumbers in San Francisco and he is by far the best, he even cleaned our tub walls of the gunk splash that had come out during the snake.
Ed is awesome, he came by the next morning of my call and took a look at the problem and didn't charge us for his advice. If it happens again, we will be sure to call him to do the work. He is a really good guy and I'm sure exceptional plumber but hopefully the problem won't return but at least we know who to call in the Financial/SOMA district... Save him to your address book!

Ed is on my go-to people list right along side of my doctor, lawyer, and dentist. YES, REALLY! He's worked for me a few times in the past couple of years and has always done an incredible job at a reasonable price. He's done everything from fixing an auxiliary exhaust fan in my laundry area that two companies said couldn't be fixed to installing a new kitchen faucet to detecting/fixing a leak in the plumbing to replacing a broken pipe and much more. I think the thing that stands out most for me about Ed is that I TRUST him .... with the projects, the decisions, purchasing of parts, in my home and most importantly that whatever he does will get done right the first time.
We have enjoyed working with Ed on several projects. He saved us thousands of dollars by correctly diagnosing and fixing a major sewer problem. Others told us we needed to tear out our floors. Ed fixed the pipes without tearing apart the house. Without our asking (or even knowing) he has come by to check the sewer lines every few months.
He did all the plumbing on a new bathroom, transforming a nearly useless, tiny old bathroom into a lovely, modern, highly functional one. It's as if he magically created space!
We will certainly ask for Ed's help in any future projects and recommend him highly.
Edward was wonderful. I called, explained I needed help with my toilet, and he was repairing the issue in under an hour. He was straightforward, very helpful, kind and honest.
I called on Monday to fix a running toilet and they were out the next morning at 9am. He inspected it, ran to the hardware store and was all finished and out the door by 10am. Quick and easy.

Edward was at our salon within 30 minutes of my phone call when our sinks backed up and our pipe popped a leak on a Friday afternoon. He was prompt and professional, and really saved our weekend from a business perspective. He also charged us a very fair price for the job, which can be sticky with some plumbing companies (especially when they know you're in dire need). We will definitely use Edward again - he's the real deal.
Edward was fantastic. I called with a frantic need for a snake. Within moments he arrived, fully equipped and ready. Then voila! A working bathtub! He was focused and no nonsense. Thanks again Edward! Brilliant!
We discovered a big leak in our garage. We shut down the water from all three condos and desperately tried to find a plumber ASAP. Edward actually answered his phone (the only one who did!) and he was at our home within the hour. He figured out the problem and fixed it very quickly. He double checked in each of our units to be sure the problem was fixed. He also snaked out an additional pipe because he was here and undoubtedly saved us another visit. Extraordinary. I rarely write a review, but Ed deserves one. He came right away, when other plumbers flaked. He knew exactly what to do without trying to do more than necessary. He fixed my leak but I asked him to come back to fix the slow drain. He came back immediately, fixed it perfectly, and didn't even charge me. Ed is fair and excellent and I trust him.
My tub got clogged and after 2 days of relentless efforts to unclog it ourselves at home, we decided it was time to call a pro. I went to yelp and basically used the first guys to call me back. I will not say the name of their company bc they seemed nice and gave it their best shot, BUT, first plumbers to come by basically told me to call someone else bc it was going to be a big job that a snake couldnt handle. So i got sad and called another guy who basically said it was going to involve some serious work and probably would run me around $800-$1000. I was even more sad at that point. I figured I would try to call one more person, even though i had to be at work soon and had pretty much given up. I called Plumtec and....OMG....someone answered the phone! I was used to leaving messages for everyone. I told him the situation and he said he would come right over. HE WAS HERE IN 10 MINUTES....maybe less! He came in, unclogged the tub, and charged me next to nothing for his time. He knows what hes doing and doesnt give up until he figures out whats wrong. I hightly recommend this man.
