I discovered yesterday that the hot water in my house wasn't working.  It wasn't a big deal during the day because it was pretty warm outside and the water was still coming out warm enough.  When my husband finally checked on the pilot light later that evening, it wasn't staying lit when he relight it.  Again, no big deal since school is out & the kids weren't in a hurry to take a shower anyway.  He thought he would let water heater dry out overnight & try to do again in the morning.

When he couldn't light it this morning, we knew there was a problem.  He had to go to work and was able to shower there.  So, I took the wheel to find a person to service the water heater.  YELP sent out 4 inquiries.  Jared was the second company to call me.  He was honest and straight forward explaining that my water heater needed to be replace based on the picture I sent to him along with the conversation we had over the phone.  He was able to come today and replace my water heater!  

Now I'm looking forward to working with Jared to upgrade/remodel both my bathrooms!  

Jared is very professional and his service is outstanding.  He is very honest and his prices are very reasonable.  He is my new go-to guy for my plumbing needs!  I highly recommend him.  Thank you again!

Mike from Primo referred me to this local plumber.  I have to say they do deserve their 5 stars.  A very professional company who has a dispatch who answers your questions and takes payment.  I had a overflowing bathtub and shower from a backup and was totally stressed out.  I was afraid that my hardwood floors would end up getting soaked by the back up.  They gave me a window of 9-11am but actually showed up an hour earlier for me.  Perfect service, knew exactly what was wrong, did his proper tests and cleared out the main line.  I'm very happy with this company and definitely will be back if I ever need plumbing needs.

I called Just Plumbing last Tuesday and asked if they could come to my condo to provide an estimate to fix my leaking shower. The receptionist was nice and said that Tim (I think that was the name) could come out and provide an estimate and scheduled a window of 9am-11am last Thursday. I stayed home from work that morning to meet with the plumber and discuss the issue and estimate.

At 10:30 I had not heard from them, so I called and left a message because I wanted to make sure the plumber was not having any issues getting into my building. I received a call back immediately. The gentleman sounded confused and said he was just returning my call. I told him I called because I wanted to make sure that he knew how to get into my building for my appt this morning. He asked (again sounding very confused) what the issue I was having entailed. I told him my shower is leaking and I need an estimate to fix it. He tells me he cannot come out to my condo just to provide an estimate - that is a waste of his time. I tell him that's very interesting because I called and made this appointment window, which has now lapsed, for that very reason and have now been home from work for 2 hours awaiting his arrival. Apparently it's okay to waste my time? I told him I specifically asked the receptionist for an estimate appointment. He told me she's not a plumber and can't really give me that info. Your receptionist can't schedule appointments? Then why did she? She surely didn't give me any other info outside of a time slot which apparently vanished into thin air after we got off of the phone.

Anyways, I understand miscommunications happen, but any point during this call some sort of apology for the confusion would have been nice.

So, we chat on and he says that he charges $85 an hour and it will probably only take an hour to fix it so he can just come and fix it. I tell him that's fine, but I still need to identify what parts are needed so that we can estimate those for my landlord and that we may be able to order them under the manufacturer's warranty. He says I probably just need a new shower valve so if I send me photos of the shower he can try to see what parts I need and how much they will cost. I immediately text him images, per his request, but do not get any confirmation back that he's received. I follow up with another text to confirm receipt and he says that he is trying to get a price on parts right now. I tell him I have some additional bath specs from my building manager that might be helpful and that I can email those to him. He sends me his email address and asks is it kohler. I tell him, no, but that I have emailed him the specs, including the manufacturer.  

I have not heard anything back since. So, thanks Just Plumbing, for wasting my time and scarring my faith in customer service.

Just had PPDS by to fix hose bibs and they do awesome quality work. Jay was top notch, personable, and professional, A1! Would use again for sure. Thanks PPDS.

I contacted the business for a quote.  I was informed that it was free for the tech to come out assess the situation (leaking toilet) and turn off the water valve (it seemed to not fully turn off) then a quote would be provided for what needed to be fixed. The tech came out turned the valve off then provided a quote on what was needed to fix a leaking toilet. He went on to try and charge $100 for turning off the valve. I informed him of what I was told before he came out. He called back to the main office to confirm and ended up saying we didn't need to pay anything. I did end up still tipping him $50 for his services. Later that day I received a text message asking for a review.  Then another that I am sure was sent to me on accident saying I was a bad customer with bad habits. That was completely untrue.  We were more than friendly and accommodating. He also was servicing a guest bathroom that is never really used and cleaned frequently.

FIVE STARS! James is amazing, came out and nailed the problem fast and efficient. Can't thank you enough!!!!

Joe and Anthony came out to check on a mystery leak in my house. They used a camera and good old fashioned detective skills to find my leak. As it turns out the furnace has a drain that was draining right into the furnace room!  They suggested I call the guy who installed my AC and it should be under warrantee. They offered to do the work if I couldn't get anywhere that way. It's good to know these guys were honest enough to tell me what was actually happening and that another professional would be the better option. I will definitely call them for future plumbing needs.

The Company was great!  Jose responded the same day I called for HELP!  He submitted a bid almost immediately and in a professional manner.  He provided service beyond  the 3 other plumbing companies by far.

The crew arrived as planned and worked diligently all day, and it was a big job.  They asked appropriate questions and answered stupid owner questions with care.

Good job and the mudders were beyond excellent and diligent.

They cared for the rest of my home and kept it as clean as possible while doing a dirty job,

I noticed a leak in our rental's garage near the water main which was also leaking on the other side of the wall outside our home. I made some calls and put out a project request on a Friday afternoon as businesses were closing for the day. The soonest return window I'd received was Wednesday next week.

I left for a few minutes and came back to Danny and his colleague switching off the main to my house to prevent further leaking and to help reduce the inevitable hit on our water bill. He explained how to operate the switch and was ready to diagnose the leak next day.

He was professional, proactive, and friendly. He let me know about a deal running through the weekend too, and we worked together to contact the homeowner and get the work started.

He came back Monday to evaluate the water main and Tuesday to repair. He installed a diversion line since the slab leak would have been a major operation. He was done within a few hours and restored water to our home.

This review is way overdue, but I wanted to thank Mike, Miles and Steve for the great service that they provide at Proactive Plumbing!

We woke up on New Year's Day to a clogged sewer pipe. Toilets wouldn't flush, bathtubs filling with water and water from the washing machine coming up on the bathroom floor. It was a real mess to say the least. It was also the first day of the year and that means it was a day that most business were not open, even for emergency service.

Luckily I called Proactive Plumbing and got in touch with Mike who began to troubleshoot the issue. I told him all of the information that I had available and he said he could be over within the hour to try and get our plumbing functional again. We were so happy that he would take time out of his holiday to help us!

Mike arrived and quickly assessed the situation, got his equipment ready and started working. He was able to get our water to drain after battling a nasty root intrusion in our main sewer line. We were overjoyed to be able to use the water again without fearing a flood!

Mike also explained that this was most likely temporary solution to a larger problem. He was right. A quick camera inspection brought to light a failure in the sewer line where the cast iron pipe aligns with the septic tank. There was root intrusion and the pipe was not aligned correctly with the septic tank. He suggested replacing the last few feet of pipe that leads to the septic, so that the roots could be cleared and the pipe re-aligned with the tank. He also suggested we add an easily accessible sewer clean out, because our older home did not have one. His estimate was VERY REASONABLE. Best of all, he said that Miles could start the work the next day! I was really surprised, because January 2nd, 2017 was a Federal Holiday. Proactive Plumbing was helping my family on back to back holidays!

Miles arrived early the next day, discussed the repair with me and then started jackhammering the concrete sidewalk and digging. He kept me informed of his progress, showed me the roots that were removed, informed me of some new parts that were required and explained the repair in detail. I was initially concerned that the required parts may increase the estimate, but that was not the case. It was a much needed boot that connects the pipe with the septic tank and I was very happy to have new one installed. Towards the end of the repair, Mike and Steve showed up to assist Miles. I felt like we had the whole Proactive Plumbing company working on our house! I couldn't have been more confident in the repair and service the company provided.

I will definitely be calling Proactive Plumbing for any future plumbing issues and strongly recommend them anyone that is in need of plumbing repairs.

I had a last minute emergency need with my water heater and this company solved the problem in a timely and professional manner.  I called at 5 p.m. and by 9am the next morning they came to the house  and fixed the issue.
Excellent prices, super fast and very ethical! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of a professional plumber.

This is update review. Actually I should write it earlier. The job is overall fine. but the last one he cheated on me with the faucet. He used a very cheap faucet different with what he showed me on a different day  to replace the broken one, and told me we had saved money. But the fact is that he charged a lot more than the actual price of the faucet, and the faucet did not work well.

--Extremely nice guy! Professional and did a wonderful job for us. He tried his best to reduce the damage of the original house no matter how hard it is. And he also tried to save us some money. We absolutely will call Mike if having another plumbing work in the future. And 100 percent that I suggest you take him if you have a similar problem.

One of best plumbers I have encountered. Called him this morning on a SATURDAY and he came around noon the same day. He easily could have told me that he doesn't work on the weekends but he still came. He knows the knowledge needed to be a plumber and works in a fast manner and checks to make sure the job is done right. And plus he cleans up after his mess. Very polite. Highly recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber or who is in need of a new one. Thank you so much Victor!

I have used professional services in different instances in my life, and in all these years One of the best has been with Bob at Neighborhood Plumbing. He really cares and shows great empathy with the clients. He help me with a water leak in the bathroom and changing a few pipes and a regulator. He charged super fair and was very considerate. He went above and beyond to help to solve the issues. I will refer him in a heartbeat. His son was great too. If I were to use three words to describe his service would be:
Fast, Resourceful and Caring. And very than fair with the price

Service was amazing. I thought we had a big problem but Blaine (new owner of the Company) came over to check it out and diagnosed the issue in no time. He fixed our issue on same day at a very reasonable price.
He is by far the best plumber I have hired. He even took the time to explain and show me what he was fixing along the way and cleaned up after. Bottom line, he is outstanding. A gentleman. Knows everything there is to know in the plumbing business. Highly professional, extremely courteous, prompt and always had a smile on his face. Loved his work ethic and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs any type of plumbing work done. Haven't had great service like this in ages. I am very happy to recommend ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing, on the basis of the Service Technician whom I had the distinct pleasure of meeting.  I needed maintenance checked because my dishwasher wasn't draining properly, so the lines needed checking and flushing and/or repair as needed.  Joshua was on time, immaculately dressed, polite, great communication skills and he wore booties in.  He prepared the area for work by carefully removing personal items from beneath the sink and then placing work mats in the area in case of a leak.  He maintained the area well, when so many vendors and technicians come in and make a big mess and leave it.  Not so with Joshua.  He stayed around after doing some fixes, to ensure his work, instead of just taking off.  He had to come back today and the same professional, methodical, and considerate service was provided.  It is such a pleasure to see a young man owning the experience so thoroughly well, from beginning to end.  His employer is quite fortunate to have him on Staff and should take every measure to ensure Joshua is well provided for, to retain him.  I would recommend Joshua on the job, you can be confident you would be in great hands!!!
