I discovered yesterday that the hot water in my house wasn't working.  It wasn't a big deal during the day because it was pretty warm outside and the water was still coming out warm enough.  When my husband finally checked on the pilot light later that evening, it wasn't staying lit when he relight it.  Again, no big deal since school is out & the kids weren't in a hurry to take a shower anyway.  He thought he would let water heater dry out overnight & try to do again in the morning.

When he couldn't light it this morning, we knew there was a problem.  He had to go to work and was able to shower there.  So, I took the wheel to find a person to service the water heater.  YELP sent out 4 inquiries.  Jared was the second company to call me.  He was honest and straight forward explaining that my water heater needed to be replace based on the picture I sent to him along with the conversation we had over the phone.  He was able to come today and replace my water heater!  

Now I'm looking forward to working with Jared to upgrade/remodel both my bathrooms!  

Jared is very professional and his service is outstanding.  He is very honest and his prices are very reasonable.  He is my new go-to guy for my plumbing needs!  I highly recommend him.  Thank you again!

Brian from Xtreme Drainworks was great. We needed the pipes scoped on an older home to help us decide if we wanted to follow through with it's purchase. We were pressed for time with our lender, so a quick visit to Yelp lead us to Brian. He was able to provide a very competitive price along with an immediate visit. We had an engineer over examining our foundation at the same time and Brian completed his job quickly without any needed guidance from us. As he was waiting for us to finish with the engineer, he took it upon himself to trace the main line so that it would be easier of us to dig it up ourselves (which was one of a few money-saving suggestions Brian threw out during his visit). Although the news about our pipes wasn't the best, the service from Brian a Xtreme Drainworks was.

WOW!!! I AM INCREDIBLY IMPRESSED with the level of knowledge our technician James had!! Not only did he teach me the ins-and-outs of my kitchen sink and clear out drain (which I never knew existed), but he was also able to give recommendations on how to maintain the sink to avoid future clogs. Something I felt was genuinely respectable was that James also educated me on the rights of a renter (me) versus a homeowner/landlord as to who would be responsible for the financial costs of the kitchen sink maintenance, so I sincerely appreciate his honesty and shared knowledge. Joe was able to come out to address an issue I had right away.  The issue was at a rental property and I was unable to be there, but Joe was great at communicating throughout the process and provided several pictures and videos as well. Will keep him in mind for any future plumbing needs.

Rip off. They gave me an estimate of $1200 dollars more than other plumbing companies to reroute hot water lines. They tried to take advantage of us. The price range was 1700 to 2300. They were at 3400 dollars. Rip off

I noticed a leak in our rental's garage near the water main which was also leaking on the other side of the wall outside our home. I made some calls and put out a project request on a Friday afternoon as businesses were closing for the day. The soonest return window I'd received was Wednesday next week.

I left for a few minutes and came back to Danny and his colleague switching off the main to my house to prevent further leaking and to help reduce the inevitable hit on our water bill. He explained how to operate the switch and was ready to diagnose the leak next day.

He was professional, proactive, and friendly. He let me know about a deal running through the weekend too, and we worked together to contact the homeowner and get the work started.

He came back Monday to evaluate the water main and Tuesday to repair. He installed a diversion line since the slab leak would have been a major operation. He was done within a few hours and restored water to our home.

I've used Proactive Plumbing on several occasions. Mike and his team are awesome. They have handled difficult drain problems in my 1976 era house with complete success. On the most recent visit by Mike and Colin they made quick work of a clogged bathroom sink drain. When I asked about replacing an old, old, old toilet (it was old!), they agreed to do the job right then. You can't ask for better service than that. I now have a free flowing sink drain and a brand new toilet. Mike and Colin were professional, fast, precise, and simply a pleasure to work with. Proactive Plumbing will always have my business. Please consider them for your plumbing needs.

On Saturday we find out the water heater is not working. I called Plamen and he is at my house within an hour. He repaired the water heater igniter and replaced the drain valve. All for LESS THAN $100!! He responds quickly. He knows what he is doing. His prices are very reasonable.

Disappointed. I contacted Mike through Yelp and got a quick response telling me to call him. I did and left a message about a dishwasher I needed installed and there were a few other things I needed as well. Mike never called me back. I waited several hours to hear back, so by the time I contacted somebody else, I had to wait an extra day with a dishwasher sitting in my kitchen. (Actually, a few minutes after I posted this review, I noticed a missed call on my phone. It appears to be Mike's number. Apparently, he also did call me back the day after I contacted him, but by then I had scheduled with someone else. Unfortunately, he did not leave a message either time so I just assumed it was a wrong number, but to be fair, it does appear that he did try to contact me, so I don't feel completely blown off.)

On the plus side, I found a new guy and a new, non-Yelp site called Thumbtack. Sam came out and hooked up my dishwasher (which took about an hour and a half) for less than Mike charged me for a 10-minute job to install a pop-up in my bathroom sink. Don't get me wrong, Mike's guy did good work, but by not calling me back until the next day and never leaving a message, I found a guy who did just as good a job for less money, so really, no hard feelings. Mike's a really good guy and I would still recommend him.

After some very poorly-planned DIY plumbing on my part (which involved a pipe breaking and me getting an unwelcome under-sink face washing), Fallbrook Plumbing was able to get out within 48 hours and get me all patched up.  They swapped out both hot and cold water registers, re-attached my RO system and even made the piping for my fridge go through the RO system so now we have cleaner ice.  I threw them a curveball by asking them to install a touch faucet head (which another plumber just flatly refused to do, crazy enough) and they were in and out in a matter of a couple of hours.  Their prices are comparable to other plumbers and I was happy to pay to avoid another incident.  Great guys, intelligent, kind, professional, fast and thorough.

Victor is great. Low prices and, after many years in the industry, he knows all the tricks. He had my problem fixed in no time time.

I had really high water bill. My water bill is always around $75.00 and this month was about $289.00 . So I knew I had a leak someplace and I needed to find it.

Andy came out and found the problem in about 20 minutes. My toilet was running water . After that he made sure that was the problem by checking all other possible problems in the house. We wacht the water meter to make sure that was the problem . He even called the santee water district to make sure the meter was reading correctly.

Andy is very honest, trustworthy and I would recommend him to anyone who us looking for a plumber.

Stephen came even earlier than expected on a Saturday emergency call to unblock a sink in the women's restroom at our winery, BK Cellars Urban Winery. Because it was a quick fix Stephen was kind enough to discount the service call. We appreciate the quick and courteous service. Thanks ASAP!
