Jared has completed several projects on my property in North Park. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the pieces, parts, and labor involved in the projects that my property required. I trust him and his work and continue to use and recommend him to my friends.

Don't schedule an appointment with me for an early morning time slot then 1) Blow it off. 2) Never even apologize for wasting my time. 3) Never get back to me with parts quote.

Honest, efficient and on time. You won't believe it, but the repair only cost $98. I am a senior and most companies try to rip us off, but not these guys. I recommend them without hesitation.

Today I inspected the work that you performed at Crest Cafe. My first reaction was WOW! I have never seen a more professional job in my life. Needless to say I was super impressed.  A forensic scientist looking at that wall would never have known there were two ugly holes in the walls there. Great Job!

90 day guarantee on the drain clearing. That is outstanding! I won't take advantage of this perk because it'll be my fault if they clog again, but what great service.

Silvia, the receptionist, was very friendly.

I wanted to replace my old and noisy 16-year-old Power Vent Water Heater in my second-floor condominium. I once called a company and said that I needed my Power Vent Water Heater replaced.  They sent a plumber who wasn't told that I needed a Power Vent Water Heater. The plumber then complained he did not have one, that there would be an extra charge for having two plumbers, and strangely stated I am not going to charge you for this call. After that I reached out to other companies and their attitudes were truly discouraging. But when I called Original Plumbing, the owner Joseph Martinez was very courteous and helpful. Because I was busy the rest of the day, I met Joseph the next morning and he explained the project and the costs involved. That same day he brought the very hard-to-find Power Vent Water Heater and replaced my old one in just over two hours. The space that houses the water heater is so tight that another plumber may charge more labor hours for removing it from and replacing it in the very tight closet space.  He also gave me his five-year parts and labor complete warranty, whereas the six-year manufacturer's warranty only covers the first year of labor.
I highly recommend Original Plumbing because Joseph Martinez gives prompt service, a complete evaluation of the work involved, and respect for the owner's property.  I believe the cost of the work is reasonable, most likely because it is a family-owned business.

If I could give 6 stars I would!!! This is our third time using Guardian and I can honestly say they have never disappointed us!  I called at 630 am yesterday to see about someone coming out to look at a growing puddle of water next to our main line that bumped up against the house. SheEr terror as to what it could be!  The dispatcher was so pleasant and asked immediately if it was an emergency. I said not right now but I needed someone today. She was so professional, kind and helpful. Scheduled me for 1-3 pm that day. They texted me a confirmation and even let me know when they were about 20 minutes out. Joshua Clarke came and started digging. I started praying!!!!!  After he got about a foot deep he informed me that they need to let me know that now was the time that I would start getting charged (they give you a free quote each time before service is started) due to the complex nature and additional digging involved to diagnose the problem. I said go ahead. Well let me tell you, it was 3 pm in blazing heat but he didn't stop. After digging OVER 3 ft deep he found it. I was never so happy to hear the words it's not a slab leak!  Our main line had cracked and a slow leak had built up over time.  Joshua was diligent, thorough and even mindful of my plants that were in the planter area where he was working!  After fixing it he filled everything back up and even hosed my wall and sidewalk off. BETTER THAN NEW!  The price was so reasonable I almost cried. He left hot, exhausted and covered in mud from head to toe but  so glad he could help us!  I truly mean that. HE was glad he could help US. Thank you Guardian Plumbers and Joshua. When other people dread calling a Plumber like calling a dentist; I can honestly say it's nice to know we have an honest, reputable and professional service to rely on!

Danny and Coast to Coast Plumbing is the best plumber in San Diego, hands down. I cannot highly recommend Danny and his team. He did exactly what he said he was going to, and came out right away. I actually have him in my phone as the best plumber. Highly highly recommend.

Bottom Line for those that do not want to read this boring, lengthy review:  I highly recommended Mike and Proactive Plumbing.  On my soapbox, I do ask, however, as responsible consumers, let's make sure to not take advantage of honest and hardworking small business (and even larger businesses) by using reviews as leverage and asking them to provide services beyond what we are paying them to do.  It is apparent from his immaculate yelp records that he has gone above and beyond to ensure his client's satisfaction.

I say that because he has really gone above and beyond for us today and is providing services that, at the end of the day, really do not fall under Proactive Plumbing's umbrella of responsibility. Rather some of the responsibilities belongs to two other businesses (one of those is do to a timing issue and the other is due to, what I consider, poor service).  Ultimately, we will pay him for the addition service; however, it is unfortunate that he is not requesting payment from us due to a unjust fear that we may give a bad review based off of others business services failures or delays.

CHAIN OF EVENTS:
We ordered a new dishwasher from a big box store and purchased the installation service as well.  The third party service delivered the dishwasher and prepared for install.  Within 10 minutes, they deemed the valve was bad and could not continue with the install until we called a plumber to come out and replace the valve.  Once completed, called the big box to reschedule the installation.

I checked yelp for plumbing services, and received four quotes, including ProActive Plumbing, which had the most reviews with highest ratings.  All responses were quick.  ProActive price was very fair, and, again, the reviews were excellent.  We had him come out when we were completing the replacement of our flooring.  

Mike from ProActive explained that the valve really was not bad, but when turning on the water it could drip.  He was honest and said if we did not want to spend the money now, it was not necessary; however, we would probably need to in the future.  We went forth with the repair.  

He completed the repair; however, acknowledged that he did not have one of the pieces.  He replaced it with a comparable part and gave the disclaimer that, should the Installers give further flack about the piece, ask them to install the dishwasher, yet leave the hose disconnected.  Pro-Active would then come back to replace the piece and connect the dishwasher.

The Installation Service came back out and would not install due to, what they squawked was, the incorrect fitting.  So out comes Pro-Active Plumbing again, which brings us to where we are today.  This is what he has done for us:
We discovered the new flooring juts too far into the dishwasher cubby.  He figured out a way to cut it and fit it.  This was not his responsibility, but he did it anyways.
He replaced the valve with the necessary valve.  
He installed the dishwasher.  This was not his responsibility, but he did it anyways.

He was hired to replace a valve and ended up completing all of these extra tasks in the name of customer service, and is personable, at that.

Woke up this morning to a leaking water heater. Called north county water heater from reviews here on Yelp . Plamen was here within 30 minutes. He did an amazing job replacing my water heater. Knowledgeable and courteous , he did a great job. The price was as reasonable as it could be, being Christmas Day .The only reason I can't give the fifth star.....I was told on the phone that there would be a $30.00 charge to use a credit card . It would have been much more convenient for me to pay with a card, especially this time of year! Also he handed me a business card that says 10% off first time service, which he wouldn't honor even though this is the first time I've used them.

Our water heater didn't have hot water so we called Mike and he came within 2 hours and found the pilot light was out on our 17 year old water heater.  He restarted it and it worked but only for a few hours it went out again. Since it's way past it's useful life, we decided to get a new one. We called Mike that same night and his technician came the next day to replace it.  Very professional and quick. Their rate was very reasonable. Highly recommend contacting them.

I received a text early Monday morning from my tenant that the Pilot light was out on the water heater and consequently no hot water.   My heating/air guy came that evening but didn't have the parts, told me to call a plumber.  I called Fallbrook Plumbing early Tuesday.  Mitch called me right back and had Kyle meet me at the rental at 8 am.  He cleaned out the clogged gas line and had it working in about 40 minutes.  Didn't try to sell me. Very reasonable service charge.  Now I have a new plumber I can count on for the future.

Victor did a great job. He was able to schedule us between his other appointments within 24 hours from when I contacted him. He was on time, completed the job (replacing a leaking kitchen faucet and repairing a loose toilet) quickly, and was very affordable. I highly recommend him and will be using him next time I need a plumber.

Fabulous experience using Bob at Neighborhood Plumbing. I called him this morning and he returned the call quickly and said he would stop by and look at the issue. I needed a working above ground water shut-off valve and a working regulator. Bob stopped by on his way home and gave me a very reasonable bid, needless to say I jumped on it and Bob went to work immediately. He and his son work together and they did an outstanding job removing the old valve and regulator and installing the new ones. Life is so much easier when you know great people who take pride in their work and are actually helping others, If you need a great plumber don't hesitate to give Bob a call at Neighborhood Plumbing I know I will be!

Andy is friendly and professional. We've had him do multiple services in our home from clearing a shower drain and backed up kitchen line to putting in a new faucet in our bathroom and water heater in our laundry room. Every time he's been very efficient and affordable.

ASAP Drain & Plumbing guys are the absolute best!!!!!  Sebastian, of course is our most favorite plumber in the world!!!!! He is so qualified and efficient, he re-did our whole house sediment filter with plumbing unions so if I have to replace it again, I can do it myself.  Plus he sourced parts for our older bathroom tub spout and valve.  He must be the absolute best when it comes to soldering plumbing joints - they're the best I've ever seen.  Sure, I could have done that part myself, but I would have set the house on  fire and the fittings still would have leaked!!!  In addition, the ASAP quote was the best ever - one company, with the pink trucks, wanted nearly $900 for the sediment filter changeout alone, and ASAP charged me $185!!!!!  ASAP guys, especially Sebastian, are now our #1 go to guys for any plumbing issue!!!
