I discovered yesterday that the hot water in my house wasn't working.  It wasn't a big deal during the day because it was pretty warm outside and the water was still coming out warm enough.  When my husband finally checked on the pilot light later that evening, it wasn't staying lit when he relight it.  Again, no big deal since school is out & the kids weren't in a hurry to take a shower anyway.  He thought he would let water heater dry out overnight & try to do again in the morning.

When he couldn't light it this morning, we knew there was a problem.  He had to go to work and was able to shower there.  So, I took the wheel to find a person to service the water heater.  YELP sent out 4 inquiries.  Jared was the second company to call me.  He was honest and straight forward explaining that my water heater needed to be replace based on the picture I sent to him along with the conversation we had over the phone.  He was able to come today and replace my water heater!  

Now I'm looking forward to working with Jared to upgrade/remodel both my bathrooms!  

Jared is very professional and his service is outstanding.  He is very honest and his prices are very reasonable.  He is my new go-to guy for my plumbing needs!  I highly recommend him.  Thank you again!

Great experience with this company, came and snaked out the drain I asked for the hydro jet for the next day, they came out ran the camera down the drain, turns out didn't need hydro jetting. Awesome men that came out. Highly recommend this company.

I called Just Plumbing last Tuesday and asked if they could come to my condo to provide an estimate to fix my leaking shower. The receptionist was nice and said that Tim (I think that was the name) could come out and provide an estimate and scheduled a window of 9am-11am last Thursday. I stayed home from work that morning to meet with the plumber and discuss the issue and estimate.

At 10:30 I had not heard from them, so I called and left a message because I wanted to make sure the plumber was not having any issues getting into my building. I received a call back immediately. The gentleman sounded confused and said he was just returning my call. I told him I called because I wanted to make sure that he knew how to get into my building for my appt this morning. He asked (again sounding very confused) what the issue I was having entailed. I told him my shower is leaking and I need an estimate to fix it. He tells me he cannot come out to my condo just to provide an estimate - that is a waste of his time. I tell him that's very interesting because I called and made this appointment window, which has now lapsed, for that very reason and have now been home from work for 2 hours awaiting his arrival. Apparently it's okay to waste my time? I told him I specifically asked the receptionist for an estimate appointment. He told me she's not a plumber and can't really give me that info. Your receptionist can't schedule appointments? Then why did she? She surely didn't give me any other info outside of a time slot which apparently vanished into thin air after we got off of the phone.

Anyways, I understand miscommunications happen, but any point during this call some sort of apology for the confusion would have been nice.

So, we chat on and he says that he charges $85 an hour and it will probably only take an hour to fix it so he can just come and fix it. I tell him that's fine, but I still need to identify what parts are needed so that we can estimate those for my landlord and that we may be able to order them under the manufacturer's warranty. He says I probably just need a new shower valve so if I send me photos of the shower he can try to see what parts I need and how much they will cost. I immediately text him images, per his request, but do not get any confirmation back that he's received. I follow up with another text to confirm receipt and he says that he is trying to get a price on parts right now. I tell him I have some additional bath specs from my building manager that might be helpful and that I can email those to him. He sends me his email address and asks is it kohler. I tell him, no, but that I have emailed him the specs, including the manufacturer.  

I have not heard anything back since. So, thanks Just Plumbing, for wasting my time and scarring my faith in customer service.

My kitchen sink was clogged I called in am and right away scheduled me in the afternoon but actually got to me sooner very happy with the work Ryan did he was quick and efficient and with all that's going on wore mask and shoe covers and when done disinfected the area when he left !! He was great thank you pipeline .

I will absolutely call Fernando from ARS Neighborhood Rooter & Plumbing again and will recommend him to others.  He is communicative, kind, honest, and skilled.  I sent a message requesting a quote at about midnight and he responded by 8 AM the next morning.  He came to my home and repaired my toilet before lunchtime that day, charging exactly what he quoted and getting the work done quickly.  When I called later that day about a subsequent problem he was back within 20 minutes to fix it, and everything's working as it should now. James and Juan were very profesional very clean and courteous . All worked performed done in a timely fashion, It's nice to see old fashion customer service. Will use them again and recommend them in a hot second.

there's nothing like turning on your garb disposal only to have it make a racket, but to throw up a tooth.
I called Joe to get a quote. we agreed on the price. I went to Home Depot, picked up a new disposal. I let Joe know I had the new unit. he contacted me and said he'd be by after he completed his current job. sure enough he came to replace it even though it was after 5.
this is the 2nd time in as many days using his services. he prompt, reasonable. I highly recommend him.

We were having problems with our water heater. We called guardian plumbers, because they had a good review in Yelp. The tech came out to give us an estimate for a new water heater. It was replaced that afternoon. We have a pump that pumps the hot water through the house, so we have hot water around 30 to 40 seconds. We took a shower that evening and it took about three minutes to get hot water. I call them up to tell them what was a going on. They sent out a tech to check out the problem, he said your pump could of been run dry when the water heater was installed. They had someone from the company come out in the evening to replace a part to the pump, now we're get hot water in about 30 to 40 seconds. I happy to find a company that stands by there work. I would give them six to seven stars, but you can only give them five. I would differently recommend guardian plumbing to anyone that needs a honest plumber.

The team at Coast 2 Coast plumbing came out and got my leaking water main replaced same day. I had water coming up everywhere and didn't know how to shut it off. Danny was able to walk me through turning the water off over the phone. I appreciated their cleanliness, attention to detail, and ability to quickly diagnose and repair my plumbing problem. Definitely recommend 10/10.

Could not be more impressed with Mike Baker and his team. Customer service, effort and seeing the job through are as on point as their skills set and abilities.

Realized we had a gas leak a week ago, called SDG&E first and they shut us down. A friend referred us to Proactive and they saved the day. Carl capped everything off and Mike (the owner) was out the next day--after hours on a Friday, no less--to begin the process of cutting into our ceiling and replacing the leaking pipe, only to find out there was another leak.

The situation was explained thoroughly, their team was in touch over the weekend and first thing Monday morning, were back on the job to help us get to the bottom of things--fixing the second leak. Carl was back Tuesday to reconnect everything he'd capped off, SDG&E returned to turn the gas back on and all seemed to be back in business ... until it wasn't.

Range top wouldn't light and I sent Mike a text to ask if he had any pro tips. Called me immediately and walked me through the process--realizing there was air in the line, which pushed through after running the outside firepit for 15 minutes (re: Mike's suggestion). From there, both the range and indoor fireplace were back up and running within minutes. (Defeated, I was ready to call SDG&E in the morning and get them back out here. Instead, problem solved and ready to take the first hot shower in my home in a week.)

The expertise and skills set is five stars, all day, every day--but the human element, the bedside manner and helping us through a very frustrated, foreign process--a game changer. Proactive has earned our business moving forward and will tell anyone and everyone about how great these guys are. Thank you again, boys. Lifesavers.

I got a recommendation for Plamen's company via a 3-degree of separation, after my 20 yrs. old 40 gal. heater started leaking.

I'm so glad I held off on other bids, Or other folks who would not give me an estimate unless they came to the house. Anyways  and his son Chris showed up right on time, took care of business within 2 hrs. showed me all the up to code niceties of their incredibly professional work.

I couldn't recommend them enough. Very good deal and professional service.

Called Mitch regarding a gas to propane conversion on new LG Wash Tower washer/dryer combo. While other companies (including Ameri-gas) said they couldn't do it. Kyle came (same day) and had it done in a little over an hour. He had never seen the appliance before (brand new from LG), but looked at the limited installation manual, Googled a few references and then figured it out. No one knows everything about every appliance as other reviewers seem to expect. LG does not train plumbers or appliance repair companies. Someone like Kyle takes the time and care to figure it out. Work area was clean and Kyle was respectful of my home and met my needs. Highly recommend using this company,

Bob the owner of Neighborhood Plumbing has been exceptional in every way. I first contacted Bob based on Yelp reviews after disappointing experiences w plumbers in the South Bay. At that time every plumber I contacted wanted to replace all the sewer lines. Bob evaluated the sewer system via camera and suggested replacing a segment of line where the constriction was with a clean-out that would suffice for some time. It did for years.  We just recently replaced another section of pipe near the main with another clean-out and that has bought me years of being able to use the existing sewer lines from the 1950's. When I have had back-ups from time to time Bob has been there that same or next day at really reasonable prices. And I did all of this while living 2-3K miles away. I have never met Bob in person but look forward to doing so. Bob's brother does excellent concrete work as well as concrete has been involved twice. Neighborhood Plumbing has my strongest recommendation. You will be impressed.  Val Imperial Beach homeowner.

Andy is friendly and professional. We've had him do multiple services in our home from clearing a shower drain and backed up kitchen line to putting in a new faucet in our bathroom and water heater in our laundry room. Every time he's been very efficient and affordable.
