Sohail Hossini and his partner knocked out a kitchen demo in a day and a half.  He moved the gas connector for my new stove coming in.  He'll be back in two weeks to do the tiling of the backsplash.  This is a no nonsense contractor who gives you a quote in writing, comes on time, does the work quickly, and we couldn't be more pleased.  Thank you

Needed to replace a faulty spigot that just wouldn't come off when I tried myself,  with map gas and crescent wrench. Had to call on the professionals and I'm glad I called Lefty's! Quoted me a fair price! Other guys quoted $175 more which to me is B.S.! So much respect to Lefty's for providing great prices to match great service!

Took Andres half hour and he even explained why I was having trouble removing it. Because of that,  this will always be our plumber peeps!  Thanks Andres for the great service!

Had a broken valve in my shower and the water wouldn't shut off.  Was able to get ahold of Gerry first thing in the morning (he was actually on vacation but still answered) and he got his team out there very quickly.  I appreciate the coordination and urgency Gerry and his team showed!!!

This is the 3rd time we've used Owen Plumbing and they're the only plumbers we trust at this point. We live in a very old house from the 60s and there's always something, but Scott and his team understand the old houses and plumbing, unlike many of the other green plumbers we've had out. They are also not working on commission so they have no reason to up-sell you (like we have been with other plumbers). They all work hourly so you can trust that their recommendation is what's right for the problem, not for their wallet. Also, the whole team is so kind and helpful. We had an emergency plumbing issue (sewage overflowing on the side of the house because of a stoppage) on a weekend so I called the emergency number and Scott had someone out within 30 minutes. Can't recommend Owen Plumbing enough!

On the plus side, replaced our backflow valve with a better brand.  On the minus, left us with an active leak!

Great service at a reasonable price! I called them at 8am and needed one of my toilets replaced. Marshall showed up by 9am and took a look at my broken toilet, went and purchased a replacement and had it installed by 11am same day. I will use Clairemont Plumbing in the future.

This was the most disappointing experience of the four plumbers who bid on my tankless water heater. In spite of the company name, AJ appeared to be the least knowledgeable about tankless water heaters. He made totally unwarranted (and as it turns out incorrect) assertions about both the gas supply line and exhaust vent without bothering to actually inspect them. I suspect that he probably was uncomfortable with the conversion from a storage water heater in a condo and that he might be fine with installing one in a newer home. His quote for a storage water heater replacement was fair, but the other vendors were simply more knowledgeable and professional.

Unlike some folks, it pains me to give negative reviews - much less be slanderous (technically it would be libelous in written form). AJ was very professional in the pre-visit communications (per the attached Yelp thread) so I'm not sure why his visit went poorly - other than that he arrived early & found a competing bidder.

Summer is heating up and our A/C condenser unit in the yard decided to stop working.  I am not too familiar with these systems so I called the folks on the sticker attached to the air handler in our garage.  Matt, the tech, arrived promptly and was very curteous.  He was nice enough to show me how to clean the automatic filters built into the system which sure needed cleaning.  He then found a simple, obvious problem in a blown fuse which I should have found myself.  Sherlock charges $25 for a fuse that's probably $2-5 at the hardware store, but that's ok and par for the course since they do come to your home to be of assistance.  Their $69 general diagnostic fee seems fair enough as well.

Here's where things went downhill.  The tech did not seem satisfied resolving this issue and decided to dig for something more profitable.  The plastic handle piece inside our shutoff box was broken and he suggested I replace the box for around $400.  I wanted a new handle, but he said they aren't sold separately.  That's when I noticed a replacement part number on the white sheet attached to the box and googled it on my iphone.  What do you know?  These parts are readily available online for around $10.  At this point the tech said he wasn't aware of this part being sold separately but that he could go get one for $65.  I agreed, but knew I would never use this company's services ever again.  And the cherry on top was when he called me later and tried to sell me some part/service with a name I couldn't understand for $165.  I get the commission salesman gig, but this is not the way to do it.  WIth so many HVAC service businesses around San Diego, just go with another that has good Yelp reviews and see what happens.

Very happy and satisfied with this company. They were able to give me same day sevice and arrived right when they said they would. They identified the cause of the problem I was having quickly, and had it fixed in a jiffy!

Had three fluorescent light fixtures in the kitchen that were all in various stages of dying.  Niall came out and had everything fixed in about an hour.  Also cleaned up everything before he left.  This was my second time using Premo and both experiences have been good.
Be aware there is a 5% surcharge for using a credit card so you may want to plan on paying via a different method.

I don't usually write a yelp review unless some one goes above and beyond expectations and that is exactly what SRP did for my family and I. I can't thank them enough for their professionalism and excellent customer service. While I was at work I got a call from my mom freaking out that we lost power at the house. I honestly was in panic mode because I was at work and couldn't leave. I quickly went on yelp! I am one of those who reads yelp reviews but does not post enough reviews myself! That is why I am writing this one :) I immediately saw SRP I sure was impressed on the reviews and let me tell you I was not disappointed one bit! I called and spoke to Steve over the phone and they came out that same day! Anthony was the technician who came out and luckily the power was on in just 40 minutes. We live in an older home and I am excited to do future work with SRP! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Honestly they took the burden off my shoulders to me that is worth every dollar spent!

Had to give LEO Electrical a call again when my AC fuses burnt during the hot weather this Labor Day weekend.  Leo responded quickly and was able to fit us in his schedule to get us cool in the house again!

This review is way overdue.  We hired H&H Lighting in April 2016 to do multiple projects in our home requiring electrical elements in the interior & exterior.  Mark H. is the ultimate professional!  Mark added pendant lights above our kitchen island that came out so beautifully, our island has become the focal point in our kitchen.  Mark is very skilled, experienced, easy going and honest.  We really lucked out when we found Mark to do our multiple projects.  We did our research and spoke to several electricians and ultimately decided to hire Mark.  Mark stands by his work and his customer service skills are exceptional.  Mark replaced all the ceiling fans in all our bedrooms, added/replaced exhaust fans in bathrooms & laundry room, replaced light fixtures in bathrooms, added the pendant lights in kitchen, several chandeliers, exterior lighting in front & back yard.  Everything turned out as we expected.  If any issues came up, there was never any doubt in our mind about Mark's ability and willingness to take care of problems to our satisfaction.  Hiring a competent, skilled and honest contractor is not an easy task, we searched for a while before we hired Mark.  We highly recommend H&H Lighting for all your electrical projects.  You will not be disappointed.  We plan on hiring H&H Lighting again soon to complete another project in our home.  THANK YOU H&H LIGHTING, YOU ROCK!!!

Rory responded to my request quickly and came to do the repair the next day to install a new 220v outlet for my laundry room. He not only did what I requested he found an issue with my circuit breakers and fixed it. He is very knowledgeable and cleaned up after his work. The work he performed was done very neat and precise. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done.

It's such a HUGE relief to find a go-to electrician who is so personable, honest, reasonable, and will go the extra mile for you. I will never call another electrician again. Frank upgraded our panel, ran electrical for A/C and a jacuzzi, and installed ceiling fans in rooms that did not have easy attic access. He works efficiently, with a smile, and at a price that didn't make me feel like I had been run over! He has since done work on our rental and for several of my clients, all with equal rave reviews. Call Frank...you won't be disappointed!
