We had a backup into our downstairs bathroom tub and was told by another plumber that he didn't have a powerful enough jetter to get the job done. I was told I needed someone with a trailer jetter (which I had never heard of before). I found Dr Rooter & Plumbing by chance, and Jerry quickly coordinated for his team to come out same day and get the job done. Super personable and more than reasonable prices. Will definitely be calling him for other plumbing work.

Called at 2pm on a Saturday, they were at my house by 4pm (as they said they would be).  Their guy was friendly.  He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and what the problem was.  He even knocked a few bucks off their quote since the job wasn't too difficult.
I would use them again.

Great experience with Marshall, who was recommended by another plumber. Diagnosed broken faucet (expensive German designer) for no charge, and suggested I call the manufacturer for a replacement part, or that I switch to a more common American brand. Purchased a new Moen on the internet, and Marshall installed it the same day for $75. I'll call Clairemont Plumbing again for next plumbing task.

Pacific Tankless was chosen by our home warranty service for the second attempt at addressing our leaky shower. I was initially nervous due to the low quantity of reviews, but at least they were all good!

Todd came out to our condo earlier this afternoon and fixed one of the problems (leaking around the handles), but the other problem (leaking from the faucet) was unaddressed. Given that there were two different problems, I'm not going to dock points because that could really come down to something as a communication issue. More important to me is how it was handled; I called Todd back and mentioned the tub was still leaky and he was back at our place after 45 minutes or so to replace the cartridges, which unfortunately was a far more complex and time-consuming problem than the simple caulking he had to do earlier. Sorry Todd! :( But he was a good sport about the whole thing and very friendly with one of our equally friendly cats, who may now be less friendly with us since there's no more leaky shower water for them to drink.

I had this guys out for a quote, and they are VERY nice and professional but EXPENSIVE.

Do yourself a favor and shop around.

Joshua and his team did the plumbing for our bathroom renovation, and we were seriously impressed by their work. Easy to work with, accommodating of our schedules, and extremely hard-working to make sure the job got done on time, even if it meant working late into the night. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

I had a dryer gas line concern and put a request through yelp. Exodus responded promptly and offered a no cost estimate. They accommodate my urgent request and sent someone out on Saturday afternoon. The consult was truly no-cost. Mauricio was thorough and assessed the situation quickly. Would definitely use again and recommend!

I was having many electrical issues which my previous electrician was not able to fix. My house was built in 1941 so when I found SRP on yelp and saw they specialize in older homes I immediately contacted Steve. He was great and answered all my questions. He sent Anthony to assess the situation - long story short - I needed the house re-wired. Anthony and his team were great. They were very respectful and answered any and all questions I had. What can I say, but absolutely amazing work. Mike and Alex are fantastic and they are the best at what they do. Mike came out for an estimate and gave us tons of options for our home garage upgrade. We needed a new 240v line put in for my welder and compressor. Mike was able to give me many choices on how to proceed with the job, whereas the competition usually only gave me one option. I like Mike's way of thinking and problem solving. He gives you what you need and the right ways to do it. No BS. Mike and Alex came out on time and ready to work the day of the job, and man do they work fast!  Not only that, but their attention to detail is fantastic. The panel upgrade went in smoothly and was extremely well organized in its layout. I can't thank the two of them enough for the fantastic job. Will not hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know. I will absolutely be having them back for future work.

Greg was prompt and straightforward to deal with. His rates are very fair and he has all the capabilities and equipment on his rolling office that make him up to any electrical task. Shows up on time and gets the job done per his guestimate.  I am so happy to have a go-to guy for all things electrical - from a new outlet to hangin outdoor lights to anything else I can think of!  Top rated, nice guy!!

In contractors I'm looking for someone who I can hand the work off to when I'm not even home and they can deliver excellent service. Frank and his team definitely are at this level. We hired them to install an outlet in the bathroom as well as install an outlet where the old stove was somehow plugged-in behind the drywall (1981 construction).

In both cases they were quick and cleaned up any mess or drywall dust. I was not explicitly told to expect to repair a drywall cut, but it was clearly something I was working on in the bathroom (with drywall mud and drywall pieces I had out). Informing less-handy folk about this ahead of time would be appreciated.

Either way, any time we need electrical work, I'm calling Frank Electric.
