Sohail Hossini and his partner knocked out a kitchen demo in a day and a half.  He moved the gas connector for my new stove coming in.  He'll be back in two weeks to do the tiling of the backsplash.  This is a no nonsense contractor who gives you a quote in writing, comes on time, does the work quickly, and we couldn't be more pleased.  Thank you

I found this company on craigslist &  it was my 3rd call . The others advertised but could not do a drain clean of a bathtub. I called we scheduled it and they sent me a link with my appointment time & a follow up link letting me know the driver was on the way. Ruben is very nice (& persistent as there was a lot of hair in the drain) and a pleasure to have in my home working in our house! He was on time and the fee did not change once he was done. Amazing same day service on a Sunday in Jamul! Our drains backed up due to a major hair ball and a kid who flushed massive wads of toilet paper. He hydro-jetted our lines and cleared the clogs with ease. Highly recommend!

I dropped something down the kitchen sink and wanted to retrieve it.  I called Owen Plumbing the next day to see if someone could come out.  They were busy and told me that they could have someone come out between 3 and 5 pm.  I had a doctor's appointment at that time, the staff was very understanding, and told me that the owner would be coming out within 20 minutes.The owner come to our home and checked out the pipes under the sink, but the item I was looking to retrieve was already gone.  They did not charge me any fee to come out, which was very nice of them.  I have used Owen Plumbing in the past and will use them again.  They are reliable, honest, and prompt.  Great service!

We had a drainage problem and it turned out to be roots in the main drainage pipe. Before calling AAA I went to Homedepot to rent a snake which unfortunately wasn't long enough.

So we finally hired them on a Saturday afternoon. Within two hours they showed up, explained exactly what happened, which shape the drainage was in and what we will have to do in the future.
They got the job done perfectly and fast.

In the end, it would have been cheaper, easier and faster to hire them than to rent equipement from Homedopot and do it myself.

Marshall is amazing!  Kindest and nicest guy with no bs.  Straight shooter and gets your plumbing issues solved.

AJ responded quickly to my call and was able to come out the next business day to check my tankless water heater.  He quickly identified the issue and didn't even charge me.  Thanks!

Ok, I want to update this review.  Following my original posting Shannon followed-up with me to apologize and ask if they could have an opportunity to earn my trust back.  They responded to this post, called me and even sent me a card in the mail.  That in itself was impressive.  They actually cared.

Since I was continuing to have AC problems I agreed to have them come out for another try.  Bill was the service tech and I must say he seemed to know what he was talking about and presented himself very professionally.  Turns out we agreed I should replace the blower fan, among some other work.  He ordered the parts and came back earlier today to complete the work.  At this time everything seems good.

While he was here I asked him what it would cost to simply replace the entire system.  It is over 20 years old.  He called the office and asked if they would send a rep out to meet with me and provide me with a price.  On the same day, today, Curt & Dustin came to my house to look at everything, sat down and explained my options on new equipment and gave me a price.  Again, they seemed to be very thorough and definitely were very professional.

I have changed my review from 1 star to 5 stars and even purchased their service contract.  Time will tell if I need to purchase a new system or not.

OLD REVIEW:

I called this business because another one failed to show up as scheduled.  They made an appointment to stop in and service my unit.  If they found a problem they could diagnose it and suggest repairs.  If I said there is a problem the initial call would cost more.

The day of my appointment I received a call informing me they had a lot of people with problem units and would like to reschedule me.  I wasn't happy about this but agreed to reschedule.  At this point another company should up unexpectedly and was able to service my unit so I called Sherlock back and said to disregard the appointment.

While I understand emergencies come up and am usually willing to work with them the bottom line is I don't want to become one of their emergencies and I don't like being like an afterthought.

This complany had super fast response time, Joshua was very courteous and professional. I was impressed with how quickly and efficicently Joshua worked.  He showed up on time (on a Sunday even!) He was able to do some trouble shooting and diagnose a major plumbing issue, helping me look at options.  I was very comfortable with him in my home, and highly recommend him. I will definitely use him for future plumbing needs.  Thanks Joshua!

Whew! We're new homeowners and have had a few plumbing issues and were very overwhelmed with how to tackle things. Mauricio gave us honest, solid guidance and the entire Exodus team tackled our big job fast. Over the years, I have assembled a great group of contractors for our home (plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, etc...) but after 17 years I needed to find an electrician to deal with issues regarding our kitchen GFCI outlets. I started my search with Yelp and read about 200 glowing reviews for Premo Electric. Turns out they were quite accurate!  Every exchange I had with Premo Electric was professional and first rate...From my initial contact with Richard to the timely arrival of Christian and Peter who showed up prepared, got right to work and were finished in less than half an hour! If I ever need an electrician again, I know who I'm calling: Premo Electric. Highly recommended!.

They did an excellent job on a panel upgrade for my house. Power came back on sooner than I expected.

I should also mention that they maintained communication with me throughout the process...with updates regarding city permits and utilities which I appreciate very much.

The whole process of working with SRP Electric was easy from start to finish.  I submitted a request through their website and received an emailed response quickly.  Rudy came out the next day and fixed two of our breakers.  We originally thought the problem was just one breaker, but after assessing the situation it became clear that we needed to replace two.  Rudy was flexible in working within our budget and thoroughly explained the issue and recommendations going forward.

Mike from SPE was great to work with. I can't stress enough how professional and organized he was when dealing with my electrical issues at home. Not only did he manage to clear the issue and installed new lighting, but he also cleaned up after himself after said work was finished. Thanks for making this a painless experience. You will be hearing from me in future projects.

We had issue with our breaker box turns out it was fried. He was able to fix and replace our outdated box with a brand new one solar ready one.

I was looking for an electrician to help install a barber pole in my barber shop.  I happened to find Jesus and he kindly helped with the install.  He asked all the right questions for how I wanted it installed and he began his work with a colleague of his.  They were efficient and very quality driven.  The barber pole came out perfect and is very sturdy.  I would highly recommend Jesus and United to anyone looking for quality electrical work.

This review is way overdue.  We hired H&H Lighting in April 2016 to do multiple projects in our home requiring electrical elements in the interior & exterior.  Mark H. is the ultimate professional!  Mark added pendant lights above our kitchen island that came out so beautifully, our island has become the focal point in our kitchen.  Mark is very skilled, experienced, easy going and honest.  We really lucked out when we found Mark to do our multiple projects.  We did our research and spoke to several electricians and ultimately decided to hire Mark.  Mark stands by his work and his customer service skills are exceptional.  Mark replaced all the ceiling fans in all our bedrooms, added/replaced exhaust fans in bathrooms & laundry room, replaced light fixtures in bathrooms, added the pendant lights in kitchen, several chandeliers, exterior lighting in front & back yard.  Everything turned out as we expected.  If any issues came up, there was never any doubt in our mind about Mark's ability and willingness to take care of problems to our satisfaction.  Hiring a competent, skilled and honest contractor is not an easy task, we searched for a while before we hired Mark.  We highly recommend H&H Lighting for all your electrical projects.  You will not be disappointed.  We plan on hiring H&H Lighting again soon to complete another project in our home.  THANK YOU H&H LIGHTING, YOU ROCK!!!

Our vacuum cleaner blew out a circuit in our home (which included our substantial office in the home).  Resetting the breaker didn't solve the problem.  Uh oh.

We called several electricians using Yelp recommendations.  Some had bad answering machines, sounded anonymous, etc.  We left messages for 4 to call us back.  Which all eventually did, but too late.

Rory Higgins (he's NOT Higgins Rory) we reached with our call to his cell phone, and he sounded competent.  He set a time he could make it (two hours to get here), then called to say his job would delay him another hour.  Showed up at the amended time, and chased the problem.  

Our house was built in Scripps Ranch in 1970 and apparently the outlets were a little substandard.  Had to check several on the ciruit to find which one had shorted (all lacked a neutral wire), and he fixed it.  He also replaced one outlet that was in bad shape.

His visit lasted a bit over an hour, and his price was QUITE reasonable.  He's now our electrician, though with luck, I'll never see him again except in Costco!  I strongly recommend Rory Higgins to others with electrical problems.

This is a follow-up review for Frank Electric.  Frank never ceases to amaze me with the level of service and support he provides to his customers.  Most recently, I experienced a problem with one of my breaker panels and one of the associated circuits which provides power to my living room area.  In essence we lost power to all fixtures, outlets and switches in that room.  I gave Frank a call and he responded right away.  I told him what I thought the issue was and he gave me some troubleshooting guidance over the phone, and advised me that he was working on a major rewiring job through the weekend, and that if there was break in the action he would stop by my home to address the problem.  I followed his troubleshooting guidance and was unable to resolve the problem myself.  I called Frank the next day to update him and he said he would make time to address my problem.  Twenty-Five minutes later he arrived at my home and greeted me with a big smile, checked the situation out, and less than 10 minutes later he found and resolved the problem, which turned out to be a faulty cord for a lamp that was short circuiting the outlet it was plugged into and tripping the associated breaker switch.  The reason I am writing this review is to demonstrate that Frank goes above and beyond all expectations for his customers.  To put it very simply I can't recall ever having a better customer service experience!  The Yelp rating system of 5 Stars does not even begin to recognize people of Frank's caliber!  I personally would give them at least 6 Stars and better yet, 10 out of 10 if it were possible!  My wife and I would like to personally thank Frank for simply being the Best!  If there is a Guardian Angel that watches over Electricians and their Customers, his name must be Frank!  If I have any future needs for electrical work, I will hire Frank and the Frank Electric Crew without hesitation.  In my opinion, if you are looking for an electrical contractor, first do your own research, but I highly recommend that you consider putting Frank Electric at the top of your list.
