I seriously cannot recommend Fitzgerald Plumbing enough. We recently moved into a house with a 30 year old water heater that was on its way out. We decided to bite the bullet and get a new water heater before the old one inevitably went out at the most inconvenient time.

We shopped around around and got a quote from one plumber who came out to the house, Home Depot who quoted over the phone, and Fitzgerald Plumbing. Fitzgerald Plumbing beat both and provided the exact same services and water heater (Bradford White 40 gallon gas).

Thomas was able to install the heater same day and we now have hot water! He gave us 5 different options with absolutely no pressure to choose anything we didn't want. He also replaced our water shutoff valve for a great price. Thomas arrived during the time window he gave, took his time to get the job done right, and is even coming back tomorrow to fix a small leak for no extra charge.

The lowest price is reason enough to go with Fitzgerald Plumbing, but the great service, honesty, and responsiveness make Fitzgerald Plumbing a no-brainer.

Ziggy was very helpful when he didn't need to be! Even though he understandably doesn't do HOA-related affairs that I thought I had, he talked with me for 15 minutes giving me every bit of helpful info and he answered my many, many questions. He definitely knows his stuff - got more helpful info out of him in 15 min than I did with my 10 hours researching on Internet.

Steve is very knowledgeable when it comes to plumbing and in addition is very pleasant to have out to your home. He charges a good fair price and wants to do the best thing for you the consumer at the end of the day. Having a plumber you can trust, that will fix it right the first time is something you can't go wrong with.
Steve has been out to my house on multiple occasions and does his best to fit you in the same day, schedule permitting. (One time I had a backed drain and it was a Saturday, I called around 9am and he came out same day around 2pm, totally awesome!) I really appreciate Steve and his assistant Moises.  Their efforts in restoring my plumbing back to normal on short notice. When you have a plumbing issue you want it fixed right away, and you want it done correctly, by going to Steve, you know you are getting great labor and parts.  Steve wants to get your plumbing issues resolved without you breaking the bank and doing what's best in the your interests. I have never written a review on anything or anybody before. I now have to because Alex of Generations Plumbing is a Rock Star and needs to be recognized.  

It started back in October after trying to educate ourselves on tankless water heaters, Alex not only provided the pros and cons, but his bid was incredibly competitive and we went with him and had a Noritz tankless water heater installed.  He was unbelievably professional, meticulous and just plain good.  

After that we also hired him to install a faucet in our laundry sink. I know this doesn't sound like a tough job but the original facet was almost 20 years old with tons of corrosion that would have made a DIY very challenging. Another very reasonably priced professional job.

This brings me to today.  Last night my wife and I returned home from visiting family back East for the Holidays.  We came home to a busted main water pipe in our front yard. I called Alex at 7 PM last night and explained the situation.  He made some calls to rearrange today's schedule so he could be at our house this morning to assess the problem.  After much digging and calling an assistant he was able to identify where the break was and fix it.  After over 5 hours of hard work, the problem is fixed, you would never know area was dug up and I was able to shower.  When seeing the extent of the problem last night, having water back on this afternoon was not a bet I would have taken.  

This guy is really good and I highly recommend him to anyone with plumbing needs.

I especially recommend Alex if you are considering a tankless water heater.  He really knows this product area and does not cut any corners when installing one.

There are lots of plumbers out here, and most are probably good, but not great. Reliable, knowledgeable and well, just average. This is not the case with Plumber Bob. He is exceptional... a five star rating is for as good as it gets, and that is the case with Bob - as in Plumber Bob (see photo for the real deal.)

Our situation started with a trickle of water coming up from the bathroom floor. From what I now know, it is hard to detect the origin of these leaks - especially when they are slow. And, most of the plumbers I called to address the problem did not want to have much to do with leak detection or diagnosis. Bob was the only plumber that took the time to ACCURATELY find the problem. These are called slab leaks, and they occur when a pipe breaks in or below the foundation of the house - in our case, a house built in '57. The pipes originally installed in the ground, running up though the foundation, were beginning to fail.

Although Bob suggested less expensive options - like fixing only the line that was leaking, we opted for a re-pipe of the entire house. Why? When you have water leaking from your slab, it is only a matter of time before you have to replace your pipes, either one at a time, or all at once. It is like going to the dentist, pay now, or pay a lot later. So, the next step was to look at a few options for the re-pipe work.

We asked for a few quotes from other referred plumbers, and to make a long story short, if you are considering this option, by all means do it, but in the end, you will do yourself a favor by having Bob do the work. You see - re-piping requires thought - you have to map out the course for the pipes - and Bob is a genius in that department. The more experience you bring to the table, the cleaner the re-pipe. So, you ask, what is involved?

A re-pipe redirects your plumbing form the ground - these pipes are abandoned - to the attic, then, through the walls to the sinks etc., and anything else that the pipes feed. We have an older house with odd locations for showers, sinks, tubs, so you have to be creative in mapping the pipe, or you will end up with holes all over your house - and many may not be necessary. This is the art of the re-pipe, and Bob's work in our house was very creative - really pure genius. We have a lot fewer drywall patches to make, but even fewer stucco repairs - on the outside of the house - which are much more expensive to repair. All these small details save you money - on what was already a very competitive bid.

I could go on and on... it's all good, but you get the point. Oh, and by the way, Bob is a really nice person, which goes a long way when you invite someone into your house. By the end of our re-pipe, Bob was like a member of our family.

As in the past, Personal Plumbing has exceeded our expectations. When I called the office to inquire about some additional work besides some major plumbing performed last summer, I was greeted like a repeat customer, and the technicians showed up within a couple of hours. As well as the clear, concise estimates of the repair, the plumber Rich came in the following day right on time, and I know the removal and replacement of the fixtures, after damage from hard water, was a hard job. Courteous, professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. I also appreciate the text messages confirming technician is on his way. A job well done, excellent customer service and professionalism , which reflects a great management.

We love Kerry and he is always friendly and available to help us with out 60 year old pipes.

One Sunday morning a neighbor noticed a leak from our house and I was so worried we had an underground pipe that might have burst. I immediately searched for a plumber in the area and Ivan showed up promptly. He was very kind and knowledgeable and was able to determine that the leak was actually coming from the neighbor's yard's irrigation system. I highly recommend using his services as we have also called him a few times after that to change some faucets and he did a great job - fast, good quality work and very reasonable pricing.

The kitchen sink got clogged on a Friday (go figure) and we needed a plumber as not even drano or a plunger helped. So I had a plumber friend that said he could come in the evening but later said he was going to be caught up on a major leak repair project and couldn't come after all  He referred me to a few people but the earliest availability was on Monday. Clearly we weren't willing to wait so I remembered using a plumber at my last rental property who seemed nice and honest (you need that with plumbers as you know ). Luckily I had his contact info on my phone and gave him a call. When Tom answered I let him know that he did work at my last rental and he remembered me, the house and sealing the toilet which had been leaking (which he did a great job on btw). Anyways, Tom walked me through the potential scenarios and what the cost would be for each and was happy he was able to come within the hour to look at and hopefully repair the clogged sink. Tom came promptly, saw that the sink was clogged and went to work. I watched the entire process from start to finish and even saw the gunk trapped in the p-trap. He took it outside, hosed the gunk off, then snaked the rest to clear any additional or residual debris and voila! Sink unclogged Tom was extremely friendly and walked me through each step as I observed him troubleshoot the problem which I appreciated. He did not try to solicit additional or extra work like some plumbers do and just got the job done as requested. Tom doesn't have any other workers as he is an independent one-man show so I can see why the price is a bit higher. That said, you get what you pay for so although on the pricey side, his quality of work was worth it! I see Tom doesn't get much reviews and the ones on here are a bit old, but my experience was far from what has been said and appreciated his honesty, friendly demeanor and prompt service Thanks Tom for getting the job done quickly and will definitely use you again and refer others, thanks again

These guys are fantastic, reasonable and down right honest! We got quotes from them, Black Mountain (they kept changing their price) and Bill Howe (sent an apprentice). So glad we decided to go with All Flow Plumbing in Santee, 619-409-9891. Eric and his assistant, Daniel, replaced our main water line plus built a new irrigation line, no leaks and everything works perfectly!

I had a clogged drain that I could not clear regardless of many different things I tried. George Baird Drain Service charges $35 for all drains. They showed up quickly and did a fantastic job in 5 minutes. Phone 619-462-8229.

Beware of Baird Drain Service who claims to charge $35 to clear a drain. I've called twice and they have excuses That's not a normal drain or That special expired. They wanted me to pay $225 to snake it or $480 to jet blast it with a warranty. They are far to expensive, and parlaying the Baird name to steal business in La Mesa.

We called All Time last May 2018, Ruben came out was very professional, completed all of the valve replacements requested and installed a new pressure regulator. Work was completed in a timely fashion, well done and fairly priced.
This week we needed a valve changed out, under the kitchen sink, that was leaking, We called Ruben and we got what we expected, a job well done, fairly priced and in a timely fashion.

Jeff was excellent. We had a minor issue with the water flow to our refrigerator water dispenser, but it was a big problem for us because it was taking several minutes just to dispense a glass of water. Jeff came out the next morning and within 30 minutes had it working again by replacing a corroded valve. The price was reasonable. Highly recommend and will be calling Jeff again if we ever have plumbing issues.

This not a trustworthy company. They told me there was something wrong with the pipes under my home,  that they were leaking and had to be replaced for 6500.  Had a suspicion something didn't seem right so I called another plumber.He said nothing was wrong. Snaked the drains and everything has been perfect since. Get a second opinion before spending any money with this company. Others in our neighborhood have had the same experience with Bay and Shore.
