I called Pure Window Cleaning because they had good reviews. They were friendly on the phone, and we're able to set up an appointment within a couple days. They showed up on time, gave me the price upfront, then did the work faster than any previous window cleaners I've had. The windows were cleaner than ever when they left, so I set up with then to come out 3 times a year to keep the windows looking good. Very satisfied

Great job!  The technician that came out to our home was very professional, honest, and was following Covid protocols that made my wife very comfortable.   I would recommend this company to anyone looking for service on their air conditioning.

Excellent experience with TS Backflow!  Tim was quick to respond to my request and made it extremely easy to get on his schedule.  He arrived as promised, performed the back flow test, and took care of the paperwork with the city within hours.  I very much appreciate him taking the time to explain how the valve works when I asked as well.  Highly recommend TS Backflow, I'll certainly have them out for next year's check!

Pip called back quickly after my call for a hot water pipe leak in the garage. Pip was very knowledgeable and immediately had a plan. Two hours later all fixed! His price was reasonable and I highly revommend this company.

My experience with Works Plumbing was completely different from the previous reviews on Yelp.  I called the owner on a Saturday morning to clear a shower drain in an apartment building I manage.  I advised him to  inform the technician not to discuss any of his findings with the tenant when he performed his work but to call me if he encountered a problem.  When the technician arrived at the job I called to check with him about the job and advise where the clean-outs were if the drain could not be cleared at the drain.  I called the technician shortly after he arrived at the job but  he refused to talk with me but decided to plow ahead (unsuccessfully) at the drain.  When he finally called me because he could not clear the drain, he went into exquisite detail about everything that was wrong with the plumbing in front of the tenants.  I called the company phone number about the technician's indiscretion, the technician, who was most likely the owner answered the phone. I told him where the clean-outs were and he finally cleared the drain but not until he upset the tenants.  Perhaps I caught him on a bad day ?  I would not send The Works Plumbing to a rental property unless you want to destroy the relationships you have with your tenants

Best plumbing service! Shower leak and needed to replace cartridge. Troy Abbott is awesome! On time, kind, works clean and knows what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

I had seen the trucks for pristine plumbing driving around a lot in Irvine. I had an issue where my faucet wasn't getting hot quickly and I was wasting a lot of water waiting for it to heat up. I had asked my community if they had similar issues, and they all did, and no one was able to find a solution. They said it was just a result of having a big house and water going through the house.  I had pristine plumbing come out and they sent Andy and Ali. They were amazing and were able to resolve this issue and ran a bunch of test to make sure that their solution worked. I recommended their services to everybody in my community who had said that cold water taking a long time to get hot was normal.

Robert is top notch!  Best plumber I have worked with.  Helped me save money where I can and did a great job.  He is reliable and trustworthy, he helped my parents out and will be doing a water heater replacement for them soon.  Great plumber!

I can only give them praise! From first contact to the actual job every staff member was professional and easy to work with. Right at Christmas my washing machine started flooding the garage and not only did they fit me into an already solid booking schedule for the estimate but Roby came early to do the job so I wasn't stuck with no way to do laundry for four more days. Drain fixed along with two running toilets, for a very reasonable price, and my 2017 is looking better already.

I had a problem with my air conditioner freezing over.  I read on-line that it could be due to a lack of coolant (go figure).  

Based on Yelp reviews, I called up Thompson Heating and AC and made an appointment.  Garrett showed up.  I explained the problem to him and he said he'd check it out rather than just proceeding on what I'd told him - this is a really good practice if you actually want to fix the problem.

Sure enough the pressure was low.  Before he charged it, he told me that it was an old system (25 years old) and may still have a leak, albeit a slow leak.  He laid out the options in simple language and the risks/costs associated with each option.  I chose to charge the system.

If there is a leak, they'll be at the top of the list for replacing the unit.  

Bottom line:  friendly, professional, and knowledgeable for a decent price.

Highly recommended.

Let me just say great customer service. I had an emergency. My toilet was backed up I put a request for a quote to have my toilet snaked. Within minutes not only did I get call back number,but also a quote. Which was pretty comprable to other plumbing services without the wait of a free estimate service call. Not only did Raul give me an estimated time of arrival, he was there 5 minutes of that window due to traffic. After Raul arrived it was determined that it wasn't a drain problem, but a mainline issue which required a larger snake. Raul explained what was needed and still pricing wasn't drastically different. Within 30 minutes and 50 feet of snake later the clog was cleared and all before I had to go to work.

THE BEST!! I will never use anyone else.  To start with, Gary is the nicest man in the world.  Secondly, he showed up on time (early, in fact).
My toilet has been running nonstop for over a week and when he came to check it, it stopped after he flushed it (so frustrating, it felt just like when you take the car to the mechanic and it doesn't make the noise you're complaining about)... Anyway, he said he didn't want me to pay for a part that I don't seem to need, but that if it starts running again to call him and he'll come back and install the part.  No charge today, good luck and I hope the noise doesn't come back!

I found Efficient plumbing on Yelp. I read great reviews about Mark and I decided to call him to fix my clogged kitchen sink problem. I texted him for a quote and he responded quickly and we fixed an appointment. He came on time and fixed the problem efficiently. As the name indicates he is definitely an efficient plumber and I highly recommend him...

Had a very bad slab leak in my home caused all sorts of damage. Called out SD Rooter and the problem was quickly and professionally taken care of.

I'm not a big Yelper. This was my first and only review of any business on any site. Since this review, a number of you have reached out to me (thank you!) including Janet O. of Powers Plumbing.
However, the issue is still not resolved.  The company has not taken responsibility for their broken equipment and poor workmanship, nor did they apologize for their appalling customer service.  I do appreciate them finally getting in touch and taking this seriously -- just a shame that it required a BBB complaint and poor Yelp/social media reviews.
Janet O's public response here contained a number of inaccuracies, including complete different interpretations of the same events.  I suspect the only way to resolve this matter will be some form of legal action.
Since this is a review site, I'll just summarize my experience with the company here and note the company's response so far.  You decide if this is a company you want to work with.
- PP arrived nearly 3 hours late. (not disputed)
- PP's drain cleaning cable system had a broken clutch, preventing it from applying torque, especially in the reverse direction (not disputed)
- PP's equipment got stuck on root intrusions in my sewer line (not disputed), and was unable to free itself due to the broken clutch. (disputed -- PP claims the broken clutch is not responsible)
- PP left the stuck equipment in my *open sewer line* for over 5 days without any contact or explanation (not disputed)
- PP shattered my sewer line to free their stuck equipment (not disputed)
- I ended up hiring another more capable plumbing company (absolute plumbing) to replace the broken sewer line at a cost of nearly $1,000. (not disputed)
- PP did not answer emails (disputed -- PP claimed to never received my emails, that email was not an effective form of communication ... in an email)
- PP did not respond following an office visit -- I spent over 30 minutes talking about the matter with PP employee Bob (who was very knowledgable and understanding) but received no follow-up response.
