I wouldn't reccomend if you're looking for a very basic repair or a low price  I had a single circuit breaker start sparking late one night, called this company the next day to come out and do a diagnosis and repair. I had to go into work so my girlfriend was the one who was here when they showed up. When they showed up, without even taking the case off my circuit breaker box they claimed that there was so much damage that instead of just replacing one fuse they would have to recondition or replace the entire box. They then quoted almost $2k for just the refurbishment, and over $2k for the replacement. I contacted other companies for a quote, and no one else quoted more than half as much. Additionally, when the electrician I chose actually opened up the casing there was no damage to anything beyond the one fuse that had been sparking. They did refund for the initial diagnostic charge, as they said they would.

Jose arrived on time and was respectful, professional and kept me updated every step. I had a small space heater that blew and caused my workout room and hallway lights to not work. After my handyman replaced the breaker it was recommended that i call and electrician. The cost was what he advertised and i would use him again and highly recommend to anyone looking for electrical work.

Went through Home Advisors to find an electrician to cut in a new line and tie it to a box outdoors. Chris McWay from McWay Electric called and made an appointment to take a look and offer an estimate. He showed up on time, looked at the project in question, and quickly told me what would be required to take care of it completely. The price was right, I asked him if he could do it right then and he said he could. Thirty minutes later everything was done, cleaned up, functioning properly, and he was first class all the way through the job. I was very impressed with the job he did and the manner in which he presented himself.

Called the top three electricians on yelp east county.
First one didn't call back for two days.
Second one spent 20 minutes on the phone laying the groundwork for a huge up sell.

Jose at Interwest is awesome. Fixed the problem and fixed two other minor issues.
Price was great. Service A+   This is the guy to call!

In the past I had a very pleasant experience with this company relating to an electrical issue.  Reasonably priced and an honest, knew-what-he-was-doing technician.

So-o-o, when I was researching a new Badger 5 garbage disposal, I contacted Point Loma Electric and Plumbing.  Not good...They refused to give a quote/estimated cost over the phone. I was told someone would need to come to the house, then I would receive a price.  THEY DIDN'T VOLUNTEER THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION until I asked if there would be a charge for this evaluation visit: BY THE WAY, THERE WOULD BE A $65 FEE which would be applied to the service if I wanted the work to be done.  Seems like a shady business practice.

Rip-off...you are kind of stuck with the repair whether or not you think the price is fair because of the consultation fee.  Since they charge by the job and not per hour (again, I had to ask before that information was shared), AND they advertise in the newspaper with price quotes AND they seem to offer actual quotes via the internet (according to their website), I was puzzled about their refusal to give me a telephone quote.
Again, this was for a garbage disposal swap out, not some complicated plumbing issue.  I guess they like the idea that you are probably going to hire their technician do the service so you won't be out the $65 consultation for nothing.  So-o, I hired another company that had no problem with giving a phone quote... and had no so-called consultation fee.  

Sigh...I noticed somewhere that this was advertised as a female-run business, and I really wanted to support their company by giving them my business.

Luke is great - he fixed multiple electrical problems with my house, finding creative (but still fully code-compliant) solutions. He listens, doesn't try to upsell you, and is very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

I requested a quote on Yelp and received a timely response, fair quite and they were available on the day I needed. James and his partner showed up early. They did an excellent job replacing a ceiling fan and 3 light fixtures. While speaking with them I mentioned that I had planned to have a handyman come mount my TVs - they said they could help with that service and were available the very next day! Again, they showed up on time and even arranged for a drywall repair man to come as well. I would give them more than 5 stars, highly recommend.

AEI responded to a quote we requested for a broken ceiling fan replacement quickly and with common sense pricing. Roddy arrived on time and the project took exactly as long as he quoted. We have recently been getting some updates done to our home and after having an experience with a plumber carelessly damaging freshly painted cabinets in addition to leaving a mess behind them it was a breath of fresh air to see that Roddy took extra care to make sure he kept the space clean during and after his visit. We will definitely be using them again for any future electrical projects.

I can't thank James enough for the electrical work he did for us! We are in the process of getting a new kitchen and our time is limited. I needed our 3 old fluorescent lights removed and to install 2 junction boxes along with an outlet for our new microwave/vent combo. He was very quick to get back to me and was able to work around our schedule. He showed up on time, was courteous, very respectful of our home and completed the project neatly and quickly. It took all of 3 hours and he was done and cleaned up all the mess. It's safe to say we have a new electrician that I trust! When it came to the bill he went above and beyond to give us the best deal. We were only charged for the 3 hours at his rate plus the materials he purchases from Home Depot with zero markup. He even showed me the receipt. I highly recommend James for any electrical project big or small. Keep up the great work James!

I was getting tired of fuses getting blown out with the heat and all the electrical things in the house. It would get so ridiculous to the point that everything and anything would trigger the fuse. I decided to call the guys here at GES and they said it was an easy fix. I set up a consultation and they came out and were able to fix it with no issues. Everything works great now

Very efficient and responsive. Came out to complete the work within 2 days of contacting him. And he showed up on time with all of the required materials. Very pleased with the work and will be using again for any electrical work we need.

The owner, Ramon, was very responsive when I submitted a request for quotes through Yelp.  He came by my place to provide an in-person consultation for the services I requested.  He was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and gave good insight on what should and should not be done.  Although I did not select him for this project, I will definitely use him in the future.

So far so good. I have Ev San Diego installed my tesla charger last January and its been working excellent. Its save me money and time going to charging station. Bravo Zulu.

Luis was great, he installed an extra outlet in our garage for our freezer and was able to do it on the spot when he came to give us a quote. He wired everything behind the walls so everything looks very professional. Highly recommend!

Theses guys are really great! I appreciated the quick response and the Job turned out perfect! I appreciate the attention to detail Josh gives, from the positioning of the recessed lighting on the ceiling to eliminating any holes in the drywall in this particular case. When we moved into our new older home, we were surprised to find that there was no wiring inside the house for cable, and the cable service was scheduled in two days!  Our daughter recommended Ed Ochoa and he was able to squeeze us in.  He and his crew were just amazing getting into the attic space, making sure wiring was put in exactly where we needed it, and taking the time to place outlets where they wouldn't visually intrude.  They were extraordinarily careful about cleanliness, and so delightfully professional and personal.  Prices are absolutely fair and reasonable, and we know that we got high quality workmanship and materials.

We were looking for an electrician to do a variety of electrical work throughout our property. Called CLD for a quote. Blake came out the next day to give us a quote. Prices were reasonable, so we accepted and he began work that same day. Upon finishing the first project, we hired him to take on another. Three projects later, we are very satisfied and look forward to having him back to install some canned lighting throughout the house. Blake was very knowledgeable. This young man was also very polite, and extremely courteous as he cleaned up after himself at every step of the project. We are extremely satisfied with the work. They do service Temecula.
