Romo and his team are amazing! My husband was deployed and my electricity shut off (of course) and I called ER electric at 9pm at night and Romo said he would be over ASAP to help. I decided to wait until the morning and then called him back and he came over instantly with his team. He temporarily fixed my electricity right there and then and discussed how we could permanently fix it. After signing a contract a little later, Romo and his team diligently worked to install a new electric panel all day. I should mention that the electricity tripped twice again a couple weeks before I signed the contract, and Romo rushed over to fix it. Romo and his team went above and beyond to get this taken care of for me, and made me feel truly taken care of. Romo met my brother when he was here one day and ended up going to his house a couple times to look at his electric issues and even helped install a projector randomly to help out! I will always recommend Romo and his great team to friends and family! I feel so comfortable knowing now that if anything happens electric-wise, I can call him literally 24/7!

Worked with Jose to repair some poorly done wiring in the garage in our newly purchased home. He's very responsive and laid out a plan to get everything in working order. He was also willing to tackle a few other add-on electrical projects for us. He's very knowledgeable, has attention to detail, and just gets things done right the first time. He does great work for a great price. Next time I need an electrician, I'm calling Jose again.

I chose Interwest after reading other reviews, and they lived up to their high ratings. I had a small job, but something that needed to be done right, and Dean arrived on time, was very friendly and courteous, and he had his helper did a super job in just the time predicted. The price wasn't cheap, but a great value for the quality of the work done. I would use this company again anytime.

Came by even though they were closed. I had three outlets not working and Kev was able to get them working again and fixed a grounding issue. Would definitely use him again.

I am a new customer of Point Loma Electric. They do excellent work and provide outstanding customer service. In my case, I recently purchased a 1920s home and I knew that I needed to do an overhaul of the home wiring and an upgrade of the electric panel. I was in good hands with Point Loma Electric. The workers were very professional and respectful of my home. The completed the work well within the project timeline, they were very patient with all my questions and offered much helpful advice. I also had them install a QuietCool attic fan which is going to keep my house cool during the summer nights. James did an outstanding job troubleshooting and replacing a faulty breaker that could have caused a lot of damage if left in place, not to mention that he came on a Sunday within 2 hours.  We will use Custom Electric and James for our electrical needs in the future.

We had a Tesla charger installed in our garage by another electrician and after 6 months of working it suddenly stopped.  We were told that our subpanel was grounded, but after having Roddy inspect it, we found out that wasn't true.  The job was more than we anticipated, but Roddy made it super easy!  He was extremely transparent and provided us with several options and quotes which we really appreciated since we are first-time homeowners (and don't know what we're doing).  Now our electrical work has been installed correctly thanks to Roddy and his team and we couldn't be happier.

Roddy was not only professional, but personable.  He even helped us lift our power rack into the garage!  We will definitely be working with AEI in the future and I highly recommend their services.

James was able to schedule us fairly quickly, we had some outlets that we wanted replaced and an out-of-service alarm disconnected, but have some ongoing projects that we wanted to consider him for in the future, like ceiling fan replacement and new circuits and outlets in the garage.  James made time to come in the morning, traffic had him there later than he would have liked but we were happy to have him there then (traffic on the 805 in our area is very tight at that time of day).  He did the work quickly and efficiently and educated us as he did it.  Discussed the future projects and feel very comfortable having him do the work.  The house is a family home that has been neglected for some time that we are restoring to it's former state, and are very happy to have James do the work.  His prices are very reasonable and he works quickly and efficiently.    James is definitely our go-to guy for electrical work and I'd recommend him to family and friends in a second. Nice guy that does good work.

Called GES to replace and upgrade some electrical things around my home. They assessed the problem, made a few recommendations in line with my budget, and were able to give me a quote fairly quickly. Once I approved, they  started to work the next day. They were able to install new breakers and electrical post.  In summary, they responded quickly, gave me a quote to do the job right, and worked quickly and passed inspection with the city. Great work guys

Once in a while you come across a contractor that is so good to work with you want to share your experience.  Enter Alvarado Electric.  In my recent residential electrical job I found these guys to be both cost competitive and customer focused.  My job wasn't a big one but there were moving parts.  Owner David Alvarado listened, understood the issues and patiently explained the options. He and his colleague were prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.  Invoicing was transparent and easy to understand.  But the best part is now at home after the sun goes down I really enjoy an improved lighting atmosphere.  Thanks Alvarado Electric!

The owner, Ramon, was very responsive when I submitted a request for quotes through Yelp.  He came by my place to provide an in-person consultation for the services I requested.  He was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and gave good insight on what should and should not be done.  Although I did not select him for this project, I will definitely use him in the future.

Luis is very respectful of the house and the owners.  He came in very early than expected which to me is a good sign. He is also very flexible and still knows exactly What to do. He installed our wall sconce and the last minute, my father in law asked him if he could also install a vanity light. I'm surprised that he did it without hesitation. You can see it in his face that he is sincere in what he does. Will definitely recommend him to my friends!

Installed an NEMA 14-50 plug for EV charging. Getting the quote was very straight forward (used Yelp). Appointment was made for that week. Ron and Hunter came out and work was done in less than an hour. Ron took the time to explain and go over the work with me, which was appreciated. I will use this company again for future electric needs.

We were struggling to find an electrician to fix an electrical problem so we could install a new Ring Doorbell.  Jose arrived on time; inspected the wires in our very old house; solved the problem; installed our doorbell; and, included a very nice doorbell chime all for a very reasonable price.
