The lights of my entire house went out after I blew a fuse at 11pm and could not get the fuse box to bring it back online. We were leaving for a trip in just a couple of hours and could not wait for a regular electrician. I called ER electric because it said they worked 24 hours and I could not wait till the morning. They guided my husband through a step by step process to bring them back online. They could have come out and charged us an arm and a leg to do it themselves, but they were kind enough to do it over the phone for free. You guys really saved our butts that night.  Thank you!

Let me start by saying I don't write reviews..but I couldn't help but want to recommend Primo's electrical service. Jose was extremely professional and did a fantastic job! He was persistent when the issue was very hard to diagnose. He is highly skilled and provided a great solution that not only fixed my outlet but also added additional safety measures. Jose worked hard AND efficiently for every hour I paid him. He's a total champ!!! I would definitely recommend Primo's electrical service!!!!

Excellent! The electrician fixed an outlet and replaced a light switch. Polite, good communication, honest. I would recommend to others. I will definitely be calling them next time I need an electrician.

I was excited to have 4 ceiling fans installed in my new home. I was given a fixed unit quote of $350 for each fan(2) without crawl space access and $175 for each fan with crawl space(2). Total should've been $1050. The bill I received was not fixed, but rather quantified by man-hours (change in pricing structure). The price increased to $1400. After questioning it, it was lowered to $1200. For one, the alleged hours were not what was spent in my property. Secondly, it is standard operating practice for ANYTIME there is going to be a cost increase to get the go ahead from the client PRIOR to starting work.  Also, having an employee train on the job(as was the case), is going to slow down the work. Understandable. I am all for teaching a new member of the team, but I should not have to foot the bill for work taking longer due to said OJT.

At what point is the amount so much more that you say, We should make sure the owner still wants to do this. There was a problem that had two solutions. Offset the fan and finish the job then and there, or center it and come back the next day. I asked, will it cost more to center the fan?. It will literally be pennies difference. So even after I inquired I was told no difference in cost,. This was the last of the fans. On the bill I was charged an extra 2.5 hours for them having to come back the next day to finish what otherwise could have been done the previous day and essentially saved me $210. However, I was quoted that work was being accomplished on a fixed pricing structure, not a man-hour based job, so there was no way for me to know that was going to change.

As far as the work quality, it looks good. I was very pleased with Elvis and the courtesy he showed us. Very respectful, as were Jose and Pepe.  That is the only reason I didn't give one star.

If the original price stayed the same or I was informed prior to continuing work that the job would cost more, I would be writing a different review.

Perfect!!! They answered my request for a quote right away and came within 2 hours. Their quote was much lower than 3 other local companies. They are very professional and the communication is great. I am happy to have found an electrician that I trust. I have referred him to my boyfriend who owns 5 investment properties, and he looks forward to calling Kev Co for his electrical work

In the past I had a very pleasant experience with this company relating to an electrical issue.  Reasonably priced and an honest, knew-what-he-was-doing technician.

So-o-o, when I was researching a new Badger 5 garbage disposal, I contacted Point Loma Electric and Plumbing.  Not good...They refused to give a quote/estimated cost over the phone. I was told someone would need to come to the house, then I would receive a price.  THEY DIDN'T VOLUNTEER THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION until I asked if there would be a charge for this evaluation visit: BY THE WAY, THERE WOULD BE A $65 FEE which would be applied to the service if I wanted the work to be done.  Seems like a shady business practice.

Rip-off...you are kind of stuck with the repair whether or not you think the price is fair because of the consultation fee.  Since they charge by the job and not per hour (again, I had to ask before that information was shared), AND they advertise in the newspaper with price quotes AND they seem to offer actual quotes via the internet (according to their website), I was puzzled about their refusal to give me a telephone quote.
Again, this was for a garbage disposal swap out, not some complicated plumbing issue.  I guess they like the idea that you are probably going to hire their technician do the service so you won't be out the $65 consultation for nothing.  So-o, I hired another company that had no problem with giving a phone quote... and had no so-called consultation fee.  

Sigh...I noticed somewhere that this was advertised as a female-run business, and I really wanted to support their company by giving them my business.

Called LTE because I smelled something burning in my home. Went out to garage and found that the lights would not turn off. After a bit of investigating I finally called the first company closest to where I was staying. He responded to me within 30 min and walked me through different suggestions. Honestly, I had him going down a rabbit hole with my description and thoughts. He quickly figured out that I had a short in one of my switched and had me shut the breaker off. To some this is a no brainer. To me I would have had a three alarm fire in my home due to ignorance. LTE came out first thing in the morning, small charge and had me fixed and good to go within about 10 minutes. He was super professional and helpful. Prices are reasonable and solid work  I highly recommend

I called 3 electricians the morning I had trouble with my electricity and Custom Electric SD was the only one that answered the others did not even call me back even though I left a message. James was able to be at my house within 2 hours from me calling him and was able to fix the problem in under 1 hour. He was professional and courteous. I will only be using Custom Electric SD for all my future Electric needs! Thanks again Custom Electric SD!

AEI responded to a quote we requested for a broken ceiling fan replacement quickly and with common sense pricing. Roddy arrived on time and the project took exactly as long as he quoted. We have recently been getting some updates done to our home and after having an experience with a plumber carelessly damaging freshly painted cabinets in addition to leaving a mess behind them it was a breath of fresh air to see that Roddy took extra care to make sure he kept the space clean during and after his visit. We will definitely be using them again for any future electrical projects.

Two of my wall outlet weren't working and I was trying to figure out what was going on. Turns out I needed to replace a breaker in my house. I called GES up and was able to schedule them to come out. I sent them photos of what the breaker looked like from the panel in the garage and they were able to come out and replace the specific breaker. Everything works fine now, will definitely be keeping their contact for any future electrical issues.

Called this Company after having 3-of her Companies look at our situations with flickering lights, not just when several appliances were being used... After talking to this owner of Alvarado Electric in just 15 minutes, David solved this problem & We have not had any Flickering lights again...   They were prompt, clean, polite & did their troubleshooting in a time full manner & kept us informed by phone on every step of their work.  Highly recommend this Company for all types of electrical upgrades, change overs to LED fixtures, remodel changes & up-grading electrical service.

Ramon did a fantastic job installing an outlet for our dryer and an ev charging outlet. His professionalism, attention to detail and communication were all superb. He will for sure be my go to guy for all of my electrical needs.

I was a little scared at first reaching out to get a Ev charger installed since my home is an older house, but Edward explained to me a variety of options to work with! Ended up having my panel upgraded and a Tesla level 2 charger installed with EV installs and the process couldn't have been more swift! Straight forward reasonable price, and took care of the process from start to finish! Thanks Edward!

I want to make this clear, the rating is not because of the electrician who came to fix my issue.  He came did his job and the company charged me an extreme rate ($150 for 30min worth of work and $25 for outlet replacement!!!!) to solve the issue.  My issue is the company and/or management.  I set an appointment for 9/930. 9 comes around nobody and no call.  Ok no big deal.  930 comes around no call no one shows up.  I call them and they say let me talk to the service manager and we will call you back. 15 minutes go by and no call.  By the way I have to take time off work to make this happen so my time is precious. So then I call them to find out that the tech is running late because of a previous job. In the end he is about an hour late. Ok, that's fine I get it things happen but where is the professionalism? You have an administrative asst. answering phones, is it too difficult for you to call the next customer to tell them your running late.  Come on! Overall this company is not even close to 5 star status and would not recommend.

Linden responded to my inquiry in less than thirty minutes.  He was able to troubleshoot and fix my GFCI issue in less than a minute and fixed five outlets.  Also, Linden and Josh installed a new exterior mount bell box for my new Kuna flood light in less than one hour.  Linden and Josh were very professional and quick.  These guys have EXCELLENT knowledge, skills, and abilities with respect to residential electrical services.   They are AWESOME!

Going off recommendations from FB in search of a electrician I was so impressed by the service of Ochoa Electric. It was easy to schedule, straight forward with the pricing and reasonable. The tech was professional and very nice. We had 2 exterior outlets installed. I would definitely use them again for future needs.

Tom answered my call and provided me with a reasonable and competitive flat rate quote for installing a ceiling fan.  He came out to do the work, covered all surfaces with protective plastic, wore a mask the whole time and completed the work in a few hours.  I am thrilled with our fan and with the service Tom provided.  Highly recommend.
