After having a bad experience with a major commercial plumber, I found Joyce Plumbing on Yelp. John responded quickly with a fair estimate and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The following day he called before arrival, arrived well within the set window and got to work. He works efficiently, but does not rush. He takes the time to ensure that work is done properly and double and triple checks things. His estimate was not the lowest, BUT he is using high quality parts. As a home owner I would rather pay a bit more for the parts and save potential future headaches. I definitely saved his contact info and will use him in the future.

Edgar is GREAT! He responded promptly to my request and was able to accommodate me into the schedule as soon as possible. Edgar was quick to finish the job and provided excellent service!

Don't hesitate, call Jeff-N-Carl for your heating & air repair!  We just had them come out and repair our heater.  Evidently the circuit board went out on on 19 year old furnace = no heat.  Carl picked up a new circuit board installed it the next day.  A couple of years ago they came out to fix our air conditioner and its been working great ever since.  They were at our house within hours of my call both times - they're friendly, professional, very knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.  I highly recommend you give them a call!

I have known the Owner of Waterside Landscape,  Jorge Sanchez,  for 20 years now.  I have watched his business grow over the years, yet as a residential homeowner, he is incredibly responsive to any concerns that may come up.  The current team at my location, led by Noe, is fantastic.  The team is very eager to do the best job possible.  Jorge has several family members involved with the business, and the pride taken to make sure a consistent professional job is always evident.

I am an out of state landlord so it's always nerve wracking to try to hire someone for my house in San Diego.  I had two handymen flake on me before I found Pelayo.  The 5 stars on his yelp account definitely helped me feel comfortable. Sergio was on it. He responded right away to my yelp contact request. He was persistent and attempted contact three times with my tenant before reaching her and then was able to go out the very next day.  The repair was completed within the timeline that he quoted even though it ended up being more extensive than he originally thought from the description.  I will definitely contact him for future repairs on the property.

No hidden fees...one flat fee quote over the phone to snake my laundry drain full of roots. Reasonable price,  told me he could be at my house in aprox. 1 1/2 hrs and indeed he was.

I highly recommend him  and will use him again if needed. I am all for supporting  local independent business and I am glad there's still decent people like Bob.

We used Tarpy last year when our AC broke down during a particularly hot week in San Diego. With a newborn at home we were desperate to get someone out ASAP. Tarpy understood the predicament we were in and with their tight schedule they were still able to come out the next day but unfortunately we had to replace the entire unit. When it came to install, they arrived on time, laid paper down on the floors so they didn't dirty anything and got everything running smoothly.

Now, a year later, I'm still blown away by the customer service. We had to have them come out last week to replace a pump for the ac. We got a call and email 20 minutes before the set appt letting us know they were on their way. Every interaction I've had with the employees has always been incredibly professional. Could not recommend this company enough.

This company is true to its name. They saved me a ton of time and headache! If I ever have future issues, I won't hesitate to call them.

Had a pipe leak under my kitchen sink and texted Ely to ask about it.  He replied within 2 hours and answered my various questions.  Scheduled for Alex to come over a week later (it wasn't an emergency so no big deal) and he did a fine job replacing the pipes.  We also wanted to install a temperature safety valve for our baby room shower, and it turns out we already had such a valve so Alex just adjusted it to a safe level.

Castillo is not the cheapest plumber but I trust their prompt professional service, and their work is good.  I am very happy to pay for this level of competence and honesty (Alex could have just installed a new one without telling us we had one already).  Will count on them again in the future!

Bob Hauer Plumbing came highly recommended on NextDoor, so I called for a quote.  He came out and, most importantly, made friends with my dogs.  :)  He provided a quote, and got me on the schedule as soon as I accepted.  He accommodated my request for early morning, which is a huge help.
I had him installing a whole home water purification system that I had purchased independently.  He told me it would take just about all day, which surprised me.  However, once you see the finished product, it is a beautiful sight to behold.  
He used copped piping as we discussed.  He placed the system where we discussed, and it is oddly nice looking.  
He took additional steps I noticed along the way - like tying back my plants to both hold them out of his way, and to protect them.  It looked like pigtails and ponytails!  

Once he got going, he worked steadily and was chipper, kind of singing along to some 90s jams as he worked, and he sounded like he was in a great mood!  I work from home, so it was a nice touch nice having a cheerful person to hear in the background, just going about his business happily.

Now - my 1968 house ALWAYS brings complications and surprises.  This time was no exception, unfortunately.  Twice it foiled him - temporarily.  

When this happened, he would work until he could not - always leavi g me with working, running water, and cleaned up pristinely.  

Now, I know we all EXPECT co tractors to clean up.  Its part of the gig.  I dont think I have ever ever seen a cleaner site.  Each time he left, it may have been cleaner than when he got there.  No exaggeration, we all have trees and yard debris.  It has been a rainy, windy winter in San Diego - I think he swept up some of my leaves in addition.  

Bob was always pleasant, calm, personable, and sweet.  Even when he ran in to surprises that necessitated extra time or supplies, he informed me with a smile.  When he told me about one of the complications, and I replied Can that be done??  He replied I can do anything  with a smile.  

I would wholeheartedly recommend his plumbing services.

Our dryer broke down recently, and Marco from SBG reached out to us when we were looking up quotes for repair.
Marco was very straightforward and knowledgeable, and was the only provider we got a quote from that gave his thoughts on what the issue might be upfront, as well as a full cost estimate (rather than just a visitation/diagnostic fee).
Scheduling an appointment was quick and painless, and Marco fixed several issues our dryer had and got it working perfectly again within 1-1.5 hours.

Super Quick Response! Awesome Service! Honest Man!

So I had a clogged tub and we tried fixing it ourselves but didn't work. So I called Plein Plumbing yesterday Sunday along with a few other numbers because I wanted this to be done ASAP so I can take a shower in my own bathroom again. Steve was the only plumber that actually picked up his phone when I called, all others I had to leave a message on their answering machine. He made room for me on his schedule and came this morning super early to get the job done. It was not till he was long gone that the other plumbers started calling me back.

I say that he is an honest man because as we don't know anything about plumbing and we thought we had done some serious damage trying to fix it ourselves. We were convinced that  we needed a whole pipe replacing and/or possibly a whole new tub replacement. I think any other would have seen money signs all over our naive selves and gotten a huge job out of us! But he told us it was probably a simple job and went on to try to fix it and luckily it was just a big ball of hair. He got it done super fast! I was so happy, I couldn't believe it, had to hold myself back from trying to hug the guy. We had been so stressed out because we are about to list this place and don't wanna invest more money on this place!

Super happy and satisfied both with his work ethics and fast response to my call. I will be definitely be using him in the future when we buy our new home.

I work as a local contractor ao I know how hard it is to manage all projects going on. I felt very well taken care of and up to date on all of my work done it was just a ceiling fan and aome track lighting for a client of mine but they moved fast and the price was right ! Thanks Guys

called and then sent a txt message. got an immediate short txt response that they are busy that day. then I asked for the next day, no response or followup.

I gave myself a deadline to finish remodeling my home before going back to work. The company I hired to remodel my floors were just about to finish up while I was down the street getting my nails done. I run a few more errands before coming home to check on everything and to my surprise there was a huge mess left over for me to clean. Boxes, bags, and tubs of leftover material that wasn't disposed of properly. Upset is an understatement, but to be honest, I was not about to get on my hands and knees and mess up my fresh $80 (+tip) ombré powder manicure that I just paid for. Nope. I needed this mess gone ASAP, before my kids got home from school. I googled a bunch of companies and stumbled upon Green Earth San Diego. They were able to come in less than an hour and finish up their work well before my kids were home. Not only did they finish in time but their customer service was on point. Dylon worked faster than my nail lady works on my pedicure. The rest of the guys were awesome too. Thank you, Green Earth for saving me from breaking a nail! ;)

Awesome company!  I have used Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air twice now and they are amazing!  Very courteous, efficient, friendly, happy and timely!!!!!  So happy with everyone whether it be the technicians, (Rudy, Katie and Maria) or the office staff - they are excellent!!!  Love seeing a company that cares about their customers and their employees and where the employees love their job!

Called to ask how much it would be to attempt replacing a cold water inlet filter for my tankless water heater. The person who took my call wouldn't give me a price, but said another person would call.

The next person said they would do a complete inspection for $360, after which they would tell me how much it would cost to repair the water heater. I passed. Sometime later I was able to convince a different plumbing company to attempt to replace the filter, which they did; completing repairs for $100.

Also they have been spamming my email ever since, even though I have requested they stop doing that five times before finally giving up. Not respecting customers' wishes or the law should give a person pause before hiring such a firm, I would think.
