I had an odd request for the second story of the townhouse I rent:  I needed an outlet properly grounded (for the sake of having a proper hookup for grounded sleep, an Earthing alternative). This project was really important to me.

Richard arrived within the timeframe I requested; he was prompt and professional, realistic, and jumped right in with assessing the situation with our outlets. Not only did he explain in detail what he saw happening with the electrical -- he also took the time to sit down with me and brainstorm a few creative options for how the job could best be executed, where it seemed there'd be only one way to go about the grounding rod installation I needed.

Unfortunately for me, after he spoke with his manager and we concluded there would be no economic way to see the project through. That said, I was impressed with how both Richard and his team handled the situation. I would definitely recommend these folks and will look them up again in the future when I need to hire.

Needed to an electrician to fix an outlet at a rental place and VC answered straight away. I called maybe 10:30am and someone was there a little after 12pm. After discovering the problem - illegal wiring of an outlet, they were able to fix the problem efficiently and make it safe again! They called me back, I did payment through the phone and he sent me a receipt.

Loved the quick service, the flexibility so I didn't have to travel all the way to Pleasanton from Daly City and they were a pleasant company to do business with. I've saved their number for my next emergency or if I need other things done! Definitely recommend!

Chris and eddy installed some new dimmer switches and a light above our pool table. They were professional, on time first thing in the morning as promised and knocked the work out quickly and thoroughly, which was awesome that day since it was Presidents' Day and we were trying to make the matinee of Black Panther. I'd definitely recommend five or free and use them again.

I was looking for some serious electrical work to be done at home and came across Juan at High Power Electric.
The quality of the work done by Juan and his crew was outstanding, ensuring that all articles in the living room are properly covered in plastic including the paths leading to it. He installed recess lights and track light in my living room, and it is one of the cleanest job I have ever seen.

My parents house in Concord had a power outage. I called PG&E, after a long waiting on the phone, someone finally answered. The PG&E rep looked up the address, he said since no outage in the neighborhood, nothing he could do about it. Then I find S&B Electric from yelp.com, sent a text msg and owner responded right away. He asked a few questions and advised me that it's most likely PG&E's problem. I called PG&E again and told them what Steward had told me. PG&E finally sent a technician over and fixed the issue. My parents got power back without having to waste money.

Big projects beware!

From reading the other reviews, it looks like Roger does a good job with small projects and seems to talk very well. However, our big remodel resulted in huge budget overruns, failure to meet critical timelines and an invoice full of ghost work days.

Many other customers mention Roger's walk through and great communication. We had a great walkthrough and a talk that instilled me with great confidence. Of course, that talk never made it into writing and was denied aggressively after the work done already exceeded an agreed price by 150%...and still counting.

I postponed the installation of a dishwasher, stove hood, A/C and fireplace insert because scheduled electrical work just didn't happen. Apparently they had other big projects that took precedent.

I took two days off work to meet with the electricians at East Bay Electric to discuss the progress and get a status update. They did not show but those days showed up on the invoice. Now the electrical part of the remodel is stopped over a cost dispute. Of course, I was informed that the original quote could not be accurate because they are so busy they don't need new customers. They overbid now because of all the work they have and would not have given me such a low bid. Then, I was told that if I didn't pay the inflated invoice, they could put a lien on my house...but nobody really wants it to get to that.

Yesterday I discovered during a city inspection of the work so far that Roger did not permit the electrical work. Now I am left with an unfinished electrical system and possible penalties for simple negligence. At a critical stage of a long, expensive remodel, I am forced to find an emergency replacement electrician and battle over a ridiculous invoice for unfinished work.

Get those great Roger speeches in writing!

Contacted Handyman Heroes to help with an emergency repair at a property that we manage and received a response within the hour. Louise was able to find someone to come out the next day and find a replacement tiles for the ceiling all with in about 2 hours. Ron who came out to do the actual repair was great! He arrived early and was able to trouble shoot what we needed done which required hand cutting the acoustic ceiling tiles to size.

With the rain a few more tiles fell over the weekend and after contacting Louise again she was able to get someone out with in a few hours. Top notch communication and service from start to finish!

Very pleased with the service and more pleased with the ease of setting everything up. We will be using them in the future!

We've had some projects going on here at our home this past year. Each has had some small to middling electrical work required. B Henry's has been my go-to for each and will continue to be my first call any time we need an electrician in the future. Customer service, care, courtesy and quality work are the reasons why. On each of the projects Bill has assessed the needs and quoted a fair price, then the work gets scheduled appropriately and the team gets it done. On time. No surprises. Just good communication, good advice, good work, no hassle. Large project or small project it doesn't matter. Bill's personal approach is the job is important and the customer matters. I feel cared for and taken care of. The team is a pleasure to work with and I am very pleased with the work. In 2023 I will be looking to install solar at my house and at this time I am planning to call B Henry's for that project too.

We had a problem with an electrical circuit.  Mark (the owner) came out on a Sunday and got the circuit working within a half hour.  He charged one fourth   of what another company quoted.  An added plus was that he was one of the few companies that would come out on a Sunday.  Most electricians are closed on Sunday.   He was friendly and I would definitely hire him again.  He is new to Yelp so not too many reviews but do not let that stop you from giving his company a call when a repair is needed.

I highly recommend EVChargerExpert to anyone who wants to have the wall connectors installed at their house.  After seeing Erin doing 2 installations in my neighborhood, I asked him to do one for me as well.  In term of price, their quotes were on par with the rest of the businesses on Yelp, and in some cases even cheaper as they didn't recommend me to buy unnecessary items or install extra panels.  I was not an electrician so naturally I was skeptical and nervous when it came to electricity.  But they allayed my fear by telling me that they always drew permits for their work and would meet with the inspector onsite once the job was done.  The job was done today and it looked great.  Erin would clean up the site, and show me how the charger worked and how to get rebate from PGE.  Kirill already scheduled an inspection for next week.  I don't have any reason to expect the job to fail inspection. But if it does, I will come back and update this review.

Expensive!!! Their quote for 2 ceiling fans installed was about $500 more than others we called.

Well now I see why Direct Electric gets a whole lotta five star reviews.  

I called and talked to Dave (the Boss) about my need to re-configure three messy circuit boxes in the garage.  We are selling the home and we needed to get the job done right away.  Dave re-arranged his schedule and he was out the next day to start on the job.  He worked on it all day yesterday and a few hours this morning and he did a fantastic job.  He took three messy boxy and put all the circuits in two very neat boxes.

He's extremely qualified and on top of it, he's one of the nicest guys that you will ever meet!

I Enlisted Santiago electrical from yelp. They were first to respond & quick for appointment. They gave a bid of $150- $450. They Stated that they charge by the job not by the hour.

Both Sal & Arturo were very sweet & friendly.   They patiently answered my questions & updated their progress. I have no doubt that the kitchen switch problems were complicated. By the time they left, the switches were in order, And garbage disposal and the dishwasher finally worked.

With a $50 discount, The job cost was $400 for 2 hours of work.

We just moved into an older house where our dryer plug didn't match up with the wall socket.  My Realtor referred me to one guy who came out and wanted to rewire my entire subpanel which would have started at $$$$...plus getting a permit from the city and possibly having pg&e shut off the power for a few hrs.

I came here and found Dave and decided to call after hearing all the good reviews.  I'm so glad I did.  Long story short, Dave is exactly how the others have described him here.  He fixed my problem in the same day for a fraction of the cost of the first guy.

Definitely recommended and I'm gonna tell my Realtor to use this guy instead.
