Victor came over the same afternoon I called, despite the busy holiday season.  He identified my problem (failed ballast), showed me how to dismantle my outdoor light fixture, remove and install the ballast and advised me to purchase the replacement online since (he correctly identified) that it was a very obscure ballast model.

He has a great personality, made sure I understood the problem and how to install the ballast and bulb and was very kind to my 4-year-old, who bugged him the entire time he worked!

We needed someone immediately and owner Juan Marin was there to help!  We called several companies but couldn't get anyone to come asap. High Power Electric took care of us immediately!  When he left we received a detailed explanation what was going on. Wonderful service ! I called on a Thursday and spoke with the owner who was very knowledgeable about my issue. Made an appointment for Friday morning and 3 workers came even before the expected time and were in and out in 20 minutes. Did a wonderful job! Very pleased with the service!

Amazing guy and team. I have an old zinsco panel and thought it needed replacing. Bill came over, went through the panel, tested every breaker and walked me through how it all works. He walked me through my options and was very thorough. Very happy with the end result and all is fixed and I feel safe.

Mark was great! He came out within an hour on NYE to fix the circuit breaker that had blown during a power outage. He was punctual, efficient, and very professional. We will definitely use Flemming Electric for our future projects.

We are very happy that we went with EVChargerExpert. They are very professional, personable, and knowledgeable, as well as patient with people who ask a lot of questions. EVChargerExpert purchased the materials and charging equipment, applied for the necessary permit from the City, and met with the inspector. (The inspector commented to us that they had come up with a cool solution.)  They are licensed engineers and electricians and advised us on the best option for our charging equipment, as well as on the placement of the line and amperage of the electric outlet and lines.

The one star is for the outrageous pricing. We called Maine because they are one of the few electrical services that will come out in an emergency--and we ended up paying an absurdly high, rip-off price for a simple fix. We were then informed of horrible electrical problems in our house that would require walls to be opened up and given a (gasp!) quote of nearly thirty thousand dollars. Instead, we found an electrician who helped us think through the simplest, least expensive way to fix those problems, and did great work for less than one-tenth the price.

Buyer beware! This company may do good work but they will manipulate you into thinking you have more problems than you have, so they can charge you insanely high prices. You'll get lots of sales talk and a fancy brochure--but please, get some other quotes from electricians who will be honest with you and charge an honest price.

Hector and team did a great job.  They were fast at giving me an estimate, and completed the job the day after I received estimate.  They had a fair price and definitely quality work and reliable!  I recommend for any job you need in home.

Had an electric short killing power to our heater and TV/Internet. After replacing the breaker and not solving the problem, I called Ry around 4pm and was thrilled he answered the phone. He offered to come by after his day was done, at 8pm, in the rain, to try and solve the issue. Not being critical we agreed to the next morning at 7am, before the rest of his work day. Personable and professional local BC guy who was very helpful and willing to follow-up to ensure longevity of the work performed. Highly recommend Ry and Always Current.

I can only say, what a great company. I had a significant electrical problem that knocked out all the kitchen outlets as well as the dinning area. Art systematically located the problem and diagnosed what had occurred. There was a single wire that failed causing a domino effect. Unfortunately he would have to cut into the walls to fix this singular issue. He gave us a variety of solutions which was extremely professional. He fixed the entire situation and repaired the wall and cleaned the entire area. You would never know any work was done. I witnessed the craftsmanship and care of the work. He was prompt professional and finished the job in record time. It is amazing to find such good work at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this company.

The best service I had ever! My refrigerator had a weird problem that it shutdown itself from time to time. A technician from A&E checked the fridge and told me the problem came from the outlet. The hot and ground line might be reversed. So I called Dave base on all the excellent reviews on yelp. I told him what the problem was and he gave a reasonable quote. As he knew I am not available at weekdays, he came to my house in half an hour. After he tested the bad outlets, he opened panel box and found the problem right away, there were 4 neutral wires burned! He fixed that and also tightened all screws. This was not the end. When He noticed a smoke detector beeping, he replaced it and only charged me the material. I was extremely happy not only because he fixed the problem and avoid a potential fire disaster to my house but also because he is very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything to me while he was working. I highly recommend him if u need an electrician.

AMAZING!  After receiving word from a tenant about an electrical problem, i called Marin-SF Electric on a Friday afternoon and they provided an appointment for Monday morning. I was impressed at how knowledgeable they were.  They were extremely efficient about their communication, texting me to advise of the appointment time, texting me again when they were on the way, and texting a third time when the work was done. They fixed the problem quickly and professionally. This is the first time I have used Marin-SF Electric but definitely NOT my last time. I cannot recommend them more highly. OUTSTANDING!

Micah and his crew redid all the electrical  in my house in 3 swaths over 2020 and 2021. Micah from minute one inspired confidence and put me at ease. He's a second generation electrician: he knows his stuff, all the current codes, etc. and he's from the neighborhood! He even could recommend other skilled folk. The best thing for me was that they did way less damage cutting holes into my plaster to do the rewiring than I've seen online from other electricians. They'll take care with everything, including vintage lighting fixtures. Hire him!
