Best Electricians in California

About a week ago we had Pacific Coast Electricians come out and install a ceiling fan in our Belmont home. Francis Thomas, our technician showed up on time and did a great job. They were pricier than other bids but, far and beyond more professional. We even had to modify our Rejuvenation fan in order get it installed. I'd recomend having them out if you've got a project.

Victor and his crew did an outstanding job upgrading my electric service panel and installing new outlets and lighting in my garage.  

The wiring in my garage was a mess.  The previous owner had attempted to do his own wiring and there were code violations all over the place.  Victor made sure that all the issues were fixed.

But even before all this, Victor was the only one (out of three different electricians I called for an estimate) who took the time during his first visit to understand my needs properly and he did a service load calculation by walking around the house and adding up the usage of various appliances and circuits.  

His rates are very reasonable and his work is exemplary.

I bought a fancy Dyson and tried to use it in my 112 year old house. Immediately every outlet in the building blew out. I reset the circuit breaker...nothing. guests were arriving at 4p.m. the same day.

Called 5 or Free in a panic and they sent over this super young looking kid.  I thought 'this guy  is in high school what's HE gonna do?'

Well, what he did was find the blown junction box hiding in the ATTIC. He knew everything about electricity in old houses and fixed everything in a few minutes, all whole being super friendly and chill.

And that, my friends, is why you don't judge a book by it's cover. Also why Five or Free is my electrician of choice from now until forever.

I was looking for some serious electrical work to be done at home and came across Juan at High Power Electric.
The quality of the work done by Juan and his crew was outstanding, ensuring that all articles in the living room are properly covered in plastic including the paths leading to it. He installed recess lights and track light in my living room, and it is one of the cleanest job I have ever seen.
I would like to thank Juan for his dedication and work.

We had a short in the wall in our living room. We had another electrical company out that spent hours and could not find the problem. I called S and B and spoke with Stewart, the owner. I could tell by the questions he asked me that this was the right company to solve our issue.

The short was in our main living area and we had been without power for 4 days. S & B fit us in their schedule within a day and half. The electrician who responded was friendly and found our problem right away. The fix was requiring ordering part and he came up with a solution to avoid this and avoid a delay in the repair.

We we're very happy with the service provided by S &B and will be using them as our electrician from now on.

I need to give Roger credit for helping out on an electrical problem personally.  It was just a couple days before Christmas, and long story short, I ended up causing one of our circuit breakers to trip several times before it finally gave out.  I called around to a few electricians, and while many were helpful, most were busy and couldn't come by until the following week.  But Roger called me back shortly after I left a message, we talked things out over the phone and I sent him some photos and video showing what the problem was.  He warned he was light on tools, but he'd give it the old college try with a breaker he already had in possession.

He came out immediately, and 15 minutes later the breaker was replaced and things were working again.  It was expensive, but not overly expensive, and Roger didn't charge me an emergency fee or cost of the new breaker itself.  I felt he was very, very fair.

Many thanks to Roger.  Great updates and communication, and most importantly great skills in fixing things for us, so we could have a nice holiday.  We'll call him again for future electrical needs.

Vince from Handyman Hero's is the consummate professional.  Yesterday he perfectly installed three external doors in my one hundred year old house.  This could not have been an easy job considering the fact that the house has shifted and moved quite a bit over the years, and Vince made sure that the doors fit perfectly before he wrapped up.  I also want to thank Louise who has been my contact person at Handyman Hero's.  She answers calls and emails right away, and has been very kind and patient.  I recommend Handyman Hero's without reservation, and I hope Vince will be available for all of the projects I've been waiting to start!

So we just completed our second big job from B Henry.  We had Chris and Vicente help us out and they did a terrific job.  My wife even dropped a couple of small extra projects that they got done in there allotted time.  Couldn't be happier with this company. Thanks Guys!

We had a problem with an electrical circuit.  Mark (the owner) came out on a Sunday and got the circuit working within a half hour.  He charged one fourth   of what another company quoted.  An added plus was that he was one of the few companies that would come out on a Sunday.  Most electricians are closed on Sunday.   He was friendly and I would definitely hire him again.  He is new to Yelp so not too many reviews but do not let that stop you from giving his company a call when a repair is needed.

I'm super pleased with the EV Charger Expert's work. Erin and Kirill are skilled at their trade and are very professional. Prompt, responsive, high-quality work and the lowest price! I highly recommend them.

I specifically contacted Maine Electric because I like to use Diamond Certified Companies.  

We had an urgent need.  When we turned the dial on our stove, the stove did not turn on, the light in the den did!  As it turned out, we needed major electrical work from arcing.  It was a very complicated problem that involved endless hours of work from top rate electricians.  Kudos especially to GILBERT, a master electrician, who clearly diagnosed the problem, and kept in regular contact with me.  His team did an outstanding job.  One small caveat.  The work was excellent as mentioned, but the electricians would have improperly labeled the master control panel circuits had I not done a spot check/test.  Be sure to do a test yourself to make sure everything is labeled correctly prior to when the technicians leave.  

Lastly, ask for a discount.  Their prices are high. Worth it, but still, costly.

I would recommend Maine Electric and would use them again!

I had an excellent experience with Direct Electric.  They answered the phone, came to my house the same day to give me an estimate, were able to do the work quickly, and did a terrific job.  I highly recommend them.

Literally the best contractor I've worked with on a project. We had an emergency where there was smoke coming from our EV charging port. He responded immediately to my request, and came over to fix it within 30 minutes. Whole project took about an hour, and he was extremely professional and clear about explaining each step until everything was fixed, and both the outlet was replaced and the breaker was upgraded. On top of it all, he charged a very reasonable price that was easy to pay via an e-mail invoice. Will definitely be calling again for any future electrical projects!

Ry came to my parents' house in Boulder Creek about two months ago. I don't think they've ever written a yelp review, but they asked me to after working with Ry. I was there when he came over to work, and I can vouch for the fact that he was kind, patient, professional, and hard working. My mother redid her kitchen after 20 some years, and it VERY excited about and proud of it, and also very particular. They worked quickly and neatly and did an excellent job. Would recommend for big or small jobs! Thank you!

I can only say, what a great company. I had a significant electrical problem that knocked out all the kitchen outlets as well as the dinning area. Art systematically located the problem and diagnosed what had occurred. There was a single wire that failed causing a domino effect. Unfortunately he would have to cut into the walls to fix this singular issue. He gave us a variety of solutions which was extremely professional. He fixed the entire situation and repaired the wall and cleaned the entire area. You would never know any work was done. I witnessed the craftsmanship and care of the work. He was prompt professional and finished the job in record time. It is amazing to find such good work at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this company.

Dave did a fantastic job on our house for a minor wiring upgade.  He was very prompt (showing up two saturdays in a row on the dot at 9am) and very knowledgeable as well.  He was more than happy to walk me through all the work he was going to do and take my input for the location of two new outlets.  He charged $300 for the installation of a 240v plug (exposed in the garage and with a short run of conduit) and another $150 to add a second 120v outlet.  Overall we were very happy with this work, speed, demeaner, and attentiveness.  I'd highly recommend him.

Very professional, dependable, and reasonably priced.  Work completed: load calculations for our existing and future electrical loads to help maximize solar output; installation of a new 200 amp main panel in a difficult location; and installation of a new sub panel for new addition including a future EV charger.  Power had to be off during this work, but Lenny made sure it was done after I left for work.

Micah Electric was amazing and super easy to work with, and did a great job. Would recommend for any quick and easy household electrical work.
