To respond to the comment that I am not actually a past customer, I'm sharing photos of texts with Joseph Rogers at Pacific Coast, as well as auto texts they sent me when they were coming out. I was indeed a past customer. If you don't like my review, don't discredit me by suggesting I'm lying. Just own the errors.

Beware the promises of the sales guy. Don't be like me - do your due diligence. If you want efficiency rebates via BayREN for improvements, make sure to check the BayREN site first and use one of their partners for your project. The Pacific Coast sales guy promised me that they help you get all the rebates, but that's not true and he's not capable of doing that. when I asked him about it, after showing him that the site says the contractor needs to be the one to submit the paperwork, he said he'd talk to his manager and then ghosted me. #notsurprised.
The actual work was adequate. I had to have them come back to finish the electrical. The first guy they sent simply looked at the electrical and left, as if he was never told what he was supposed to be doing (even though the original installers took pictures to share with him). And then no one showed for the 2nd appt. Finally, on the 3rd scheduled time, the work got done.

I've called on Victor to help numerous times but this is my first opportunity to write a proper review.  Quite simply, if you are in need of an electrician who is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and practical, call him!!  
On my first call to Victor, I needed some general work done on the home.  I needed a ceiling fan to be operated with a remote control, a replacement of a light switch to my front porch, a laundry light assembly, and an outdoor security light.  Victor arrived promptly, and listened to what I wanted done and then gave me excellent feedback.  When I needed a security light done he steered me away from the ones you find at Home Depot and he custom made a light fixture.  I appreciated that as I didn't want something as important as that to fail when I needed it the most.  He got all the rest of my needs completed and made sure it was all done correctly.  He was reasonably priced in comparison to the other electricians, and I absolutely recommend him.  
On my most recent call to Victor, I called him a day prior to needing his services, and he remembered me... In fact my neighbor across the street had called him under my recommendation, and he was just in my neighborhood 3 days ago... Just like my first call, he was very professional and showed up on time ( which I always appreciate).  This time I needed his help in adding some additional outlets for a theater room I was putting together that day.  He worked well with the Magnolia crew, even though one of them was not being courteous.  Despite their differences, Victor got the job done.
Again, if you are in need of a person who is respectful and knows what he's doing, don't hesitate to call Victor... He'll get it done!!!
BTW, he recommended someone to do some patch up work from all the holes in the wall in my theater room and he happened to be his brother-in-law and so far he's doing an excellent job.  Thanks Victor for all your hard work and the awesome referral!!!

Gilbert and Alexis were true professionals. Turned up for my appointment on time and delivered quality service. I would trust and recommend Five or Free for all my Electrical repair and enhancement work.

Needed a fan installed and the electrical ran into my girls room. Juan came out and got everything done in less than 2 hours and the cost seemed very fair. He was professional and explained everything. Great guy.

Stewart got back to me right away and I was able to book an appointment for the next morning.  The team that came in was very professional.  They found the problems, showed me pictures of the problem wiring and shortly after they fixed my issue!  This guys know their stuff!  I would definately call them again for any electrical problem.

I had such a wonderful experience with all the staff at East Bay Electric. They were responsive and timely in having someone come out to help assess and address our electrical issue. I would absolutely recommend them, and will definitely use them in the future for any electrical needs we may have!

Contacted Handyman Heroes to help with an emergency repair at a property that we manage and received a response within the hour. Louise was able to find someone to come out the next day and find a replacement tiles for the ceiling all with in about 2 hours. Ron who came out to do the actual repair was great! He arrived early and was able to trouble shoot what we needed done which required hand cutting the acoustic ceiling tiles to size.

With the rain a few more tiles fell over the weekend and after contacting Louise again she was able to get someone out with in a few hours. Top notch communication and service from start to finish!

Very pleased with the service and more pleased with the ease of setting everything up. We will be using them in the future!

It's freezing out and our furnace refused to turn on. And it's a Saturday. And our regular electric guy is not answering his phone (it's a week before Christmas).  Bill Henry saved the day, within a couple hours came out on a Saturday and got our furnace electric sorted.  100% great job.  Bill is da guy!

We had a problem with an electrical circuit.  Mark (the owner) came out on a Sunday and got the circuit working within a half hour.  He charged one fourth   of what another company quoted.  An added plus was that he was one of the few companies that would come out on a Sunday.  Most electricians are closed on Sunday.   He was friendly and I would definitely hire him again.  He is new to Yelp so not too many reviews but do not let that stop you from giving his company a call when a repair is needed.

I highly recommend EVChargerExpert. Kirill and Erin were easy to work with from the beginning. Kirill returned emails promptly, visited the site, recommended a solution, arranged for the install and inspection. Erin arrived on time and completed the installation quickly. They also coordinated the Oakland inspection and signoff. On budget and faster than I expected.

I specifically contacted Maine Electric because I like to use Diamond Certified Companies.  

We had an urgent need.  When we turned the dial on our stove, the stove did not turn on, the light in the den did!  As it turned out, we needed major electrical work from arcing.  It was a very complicated problem that involved endless hours of work from top rate electricians.  Kudos especially to GILBERT, a master electrician, who clearly diagnosed the problem, and kept in regular contact with me.  His team did an outstanding job.  One small caveat.  The work was excellent as mentioned, but the electricians would have improperly labeled the master control panel circuits had I not done a spot check/test.  Be sure to do a test yourself to make sure everything is labeled correctly prior to when the technicians leave.  

Lastly, ask for a discount.  Their prices are high. Worth it, but still, costly.

I would recommend Maine Electric and would use them again!

Excellent electrician.  They are knowledgeable, responsive and do clean work.  They charge reasonable rates.  They installed a plug for EV charger, whole house surge protector and replaced our incandescent can lights with modern LEDs.  I would definitely use them again.

Highly recommend this company. He came at a short notice was very professional and explaining everything he did into detail. The price was very reasonable. After the issue was fixed we ran into another issue with the other unit and they came back the next morning and fixed it too. Thank you again Hector.

I had the best experience today with Always Current Electric! Ry was recommended by my usual electrician, and he not only called me right back, but he came over on the very same day.

I was replacing a dishwasher, and it turned out the old one was hard-wired, so the delivery guys were unable to remove the old and install the new. Ry came by at 5pm on a Friday (the Friday before Christmas at that), pulled out the old dishwasher, put in a new outlet, and installed my new dishwasher for me. Totally did not expect to get it done so quickly.

Ry is very professional, friendly and responsible. He's local, and has a great sense of community and neighborliness. I will absolutely call him again when I need some electrical work done. Thanks, Ry!

Art has been our go to electrician for our personal and rental properties. He's solved some very complicated electrical problems along with straight forward work. He's fair on pricing and will always do a quality job.

Saved me - I couldn't get my garage door open and no manual vault! Trapped  

He picked up my desperate call at 7AM in the morning. He came when I asked him to and he fixed my problem without any problems. Cheaper than expected. He listened to my crazy talk for 10 min, humored my animated panic and pleas. Then he calmly did what he needed. Tested, fixed, and was out within an 1 hr. He had the right breaker in his van, because our house had an older panel that required special parts that would take days if purchased online.

Great attitude, great price, and fast service with flexible timing!

I thought I had left a review, regardless, his is a great company that sent someone out promptly who was very educated about my issues and explained it well and repaired it quickly and satisfactorily and I will call them again without haste when I need them next!

I recently hired MJS for a rewrite of my 1920's Crocker Highlands craftsman.  I so impressed and pleased with the entire process -- from providing an estimate, discussing options based on my budget, thru to the install.  Micah and the team were always prompt and courteous.  They looped me In for decision making in advance, and their work was meticulous.  Along the way, I learned a few things, as Micah was always willing to talk me thru any part of the install. I would highly recommend MJS!
