I recently did a full remodel of my house in San Jose.    Gustavo, the owner of this business came on site, provided us with an estimate.    My wife made a lot of changes during the work, which they gladly took on.   Modified the estimate slightly and got the work done VERY nicely

Seth is so friendly and helpful! He fixed the electricity issue at my place on the last day of 2018 (when most people are not even working) and saved me from darkness! We were without power to a portion of our house for two days and after pretty much taking the house apart and going crazy trying to fix it myself I hit a wall. I called up Rick on a Sunday evening and he was at my place in less than 30 minutes and fixed the problem in no time. Not only did he troubleshoot our problem but he gave my son and I some great lessons in electrical work. I highly recommend him!!

I needed some help with converting a exterior porch can light (LOW VOLTAGE CFL) to a drop down hanging light.  I went to Home Depot and asked someone there because the electricians that I called wanted up to $400.00 to do the job.  I am fairly handy but I really don't know much about electrical.  I had low voltage wiring and had to get it converted back to the 110.

Home Depot directed me to Red Beacon to search for someone.  Cole was the 1st person that called me back.  Without even hiring him he gave me so much details on what needed to be done.  I was able to get to transformer or converter box of the can that transferred it into low voltage.  I just didn't know what to do.

What amazed me about Cole is that he told me its fairly easy.  So easy that he said as long as I am handy and comfortable enough that he would walk me through it.  I didn't quite understand what he was telling me to do so he asked me to email him pictures which I did.  Later that night he called me back and gave me instructions based of what I was looking at.  From there I finally understood what he was telling me to do and figured it out fairly easily.

I have never written a review on yelp but I was honestly amazed by Cole's customer service that I felt I had to.  That really was going above and beyond and with his help I was able to get this done myself and save a ton of money!!

I will absolutely be keeping Cole's phone # handy in the even I ever need any kind of electrical done.

I had some issues with my A/C wiring and few other outlet issues in my house. I called Ed as he came highly recommended by my agent. He was prompt gave me a fair estimate. He completed the work in time with no mess and reduced my bill at the end because it was less than what he estimated. I will definitely call him for all my electrical work.

We recently purchased an EV thus we needed an outlet outside to charge as well as other electrical installation around the house. Yovani and his team provided the best quote I found on Yelp and the fastest availability. His team was able to put up two outside oulet, an EV outlet, and a relocation of washer outlet just within 4 hrs and they took off their shoes in my Asian household, huge plus since that day the ground was wet. Will definitely have him come out and install our bathroom bidet outlet once we are ready.

I had an issue with my drier outlet and Francisco was prompt in response. He explained why I was getting the burning wire smell (due to an erroneous install by the previous handyman), and replaced with the new outlet.

Hands down best experience I have ever had with an electrician/plumber. I need a variety of things done in my house from the installation of an EV charger to, installation of new sinks, shower fixtures, plumbing, garbage disposal repair. You name it they can fix it. They came and gave me an estimate in a timely manner, very trustworthy and professional.. worked with my budget. I can't say enough. I know who my go to is for any repairs. These guys can do it all! Working with Esed was quick and easy. Messaged on yelp, called and gave an estimate the next day. After my ordered item from amazon arrived, I texted Esed to let him know equipments are in place. Esed showed up at my place after 3 hours in the same day! The installation was done within an hour. It's a breeze working with him because I don't have to go through the painful and lengthy appointment process like I did with other electricians.

We found Gus on Yelp. He was available to talk to us when we called after 7pm to make an appointment. He was upfront and sincere.  He was knowledgeable and proved insightful regarding our problem. We would definitely call him again.  Overall, a real upstanding guy.

I am blown away with General SF! I honestly wish that I could give more stars. I called Yevgeny after we hired a different electrician for an emergency situation over the weekend. I started getting a weird feeling about our situation but since I have no background in electrical work, I decided to call other local electricians to see what they thought. Yevgeny answered my call immediately and after explaining my situation, he confirmed that we had been swindled out of a great deal of money. We talked for about 15 minutes and then he asked if he might be able to stop by and look at the solution that had been created for us. Not 20 minutes later, he was outside (socially distant and with a mask, which was very appreciated!) and immediately recognized our issue. He took pictures of what the other electrician had done and then drew diagrams on top of the pictures of what should have been done. He was so calm and explained things thoroughly. He went through each of the parts that were used, looked up the current prices of the materials, and gave me an estimate on the high end of what he expected the costs were. The entire time he reiterated that he wasn't trying to take over the job and that he just wanted to counsel me in a tough situation. After he left, he emailed me a great deal of references so that I could better understand our issue. He also sent me the contract that he uses for his clients so that I could see what we should have been given. Yevgeny called me to talk through everything and ultimately was largely responsible for our very positive outcome. Over the course of several days, we spoke on the phone for probably between 1-2 hours. He never asked for any compensation and he continued to tell me that he just wanted to help us get out of a bad situation and restore our faith in the profession. I am so so grateful for Yevgeny and for General SF. The customer service, attention to detail, and, most importantly, the honesty and the true concern he shows for people is unparalleled. I could not recommend Yevgeny more!

On the day that my new electric dryer arrived, I discovered that the breakers on my electrical panel for the dryer had been repurposed. Timur listened to me closely on the phone and booked to come over the same day.  He and his assistant, Egor, fixed the problem in 20 minutes.  I'm grateful that he could work me in to his busy schedule.  The other electricians I contacted insisted on a diagnostic visit, before booking a repair appointment.  I will definitely call upon Timur and Egor again.

Shamrockin Electric is the electrician you will want in your contacts list. Dave is an absolute professional who does meticulous, high-quality work. Shamrockin Electric installed my home security system and, not only have I had no problems with it, he also did the neatest job I've ever seen. Even when there was a complication with one of the devices that would have had me giving up and just tying a cowbell to the doorknob, Dave tackled the challenge and quickly got it all sorted out.

In addition to his impeccable work, he's dedicated to providing stellar customer service, he's trustworthy, and he was kind to my dog. Is there really anything else you can ask for?

Spoke to Debbie at the office yesterday morning about a safety issue at my house that I needed an electrician to look at, she mentioned that they were completely booked but that she would talk to John. Got a call a few hours later and she said that John was willing to stop by before work to look at it. John and his helper came today, fixed our electrical issue all before he started his regular business day! Thanks John! Very professional office staff, above and beyond service! We will use again for sure.
