Needed 4 Ceiling fans installed and mounted. Went through Yelp for contractors and finally picked Voltz Electric and called them yesterday. They sent in Ruben and Evan to do the job.

Based on the review here I was expecting to be very impressed with their work. But I wasn't prepared to be blown away. They took care of every single detail, including running new cables, drilling the ceiling for the mount.

After mounting one of the fans, they noticed the blades weren't aligned properly (manufacturer fault). So proceeded to open up the fan, fix the alignment on the blade mounting plate so that the fan wouldn't wobble..

After everything was done did a complete cleanup of the house. Highly recommend Ruben and Evan. Very efficient team, very professional and they absolutely do not  hesitate to go well beyond what's needed to do A+ job.

Quick and efficient response to our electrical problems. Jason was on time, friendly and his charge reasonable.

After reading Marks response to my review, I felt obligated to respond to it. First off, you just showed again how you don't remember or care for your customers-- Lori booked your company over the phone but I was the one you met when you came out to the house to go over the work we needed and to try and smooth things over because your guys were 2 hours late, I was the one who wrote all the checks ( a check had to be written everyday for % of work completed) and I was the one who was there everytime the guys came to do any work. So actually I was the face everyone saw 95% of the time, while you only talked Lori once on the phone .  Second, if you were unavailable you could have done 2 things-  instruct your answering service to inform callers that you are out of town and will not be taking any service calls until whatever day you will be back(then people will not wait for a return call), or simply provide callers with an alternative electrician while you are away for emergencies that cannot wait.  That is what a caring company does Mark! Also, my yelp is not linked to my phone number- (you know the one you said is a random out of town number)  you must have recognized it  because you called it to harass me on the phone regarding my initial review. That means you looked up my contract- found MY name and number not Lori's and called me.  Why call one hour after my review ( which was Wednesday)?  Why not call on Monday when you got back just to make sure I got everything fixed?  Lastly, the power going off was largely in part  to your work Mark.  All the work we had done in the house was put on the same GFI circuit that the 2 bathrooms were on therefore overloading it so everytime we would both blow dry our hair the power would go out.  Do can lights in a living room that are no where near water need to go on a GFI circuit that powers the bathrooms? And if the circuit was overloaded, why put more stuff on it?  Why not tell us we need a whole new circuit to prevent any problems?

You get one star because Guilleremo is wonderful and your son is a nice guy too.  Its just to bad that you didn't stand by your work or care enough to make sure your customers are takin care of!

Minh and his guys helped us with the installation of 3 chandeliers, and 3 Wi-Fi compatible fans with lights. Communicating with him was easy as he is very responsive. He is punctual, knowledgeable, honest, and thorough. He installed our chandelier before COVID, and even then he made sure to use fabric coverings for the floor for the work space and for where they would walk inside our house. We also appreciated the use of shoe coverings and a mini vac they use for clean-up after. When we had them come back and install the fans post COVID, Minh and his guys made sure to wear masks. They work quickly and efficiently. We are very pleased with the work we've had done by Minh and his guys and are looking forward to hiring them again for some projects in the near future! I lost power to 10 outlets located in two bedrooms. The problem was not the breaker so I needed professional help to resolve the issue. I really don't like trying to find competent repair persons for any task. You take the chance of getting unqualified persons who charge high fees. While searching for a electrician to resolve my problem I came across Absolute Power and was impressed with the great reviews. I contacted Julio, the owner, and an appointment was scheduled for the next day.

Julio and  Mauricio showed up as scheduled and I was immediately impressed with Julio's professionalism. A shorted outlet was found which also caused a wire junction in the attic to short circuit. Both issues were diagnosed and repaired during the two hours they were here. Before they left Julio made sure everything was cleaned up and any moved furniture returned to original locations.

In summary I am highly satisfied with Absolute Power and will definitely use them again if I need electrical service of any kind. I was also satisfied with the reasonable service charge for repair.

So the electrician we had called in the past is no longer doing business.  What?!?  Who to go to now in short notice?
Needed 20 dimmable recessed lights installed at our house in San Mateo.  Roger from Formosa Electric to the rescue! Super-quick response to my inquiry on Yelp along with a quoted amount that seemed reasonable to me.  He worked around our tight schedule and came by on a Sunday to do the install with another guy.  Done within 7 hours and no problems noted.  Oh, they did a great job of clean up too.  Highly Recommended.

Very knowledgable electrician. Explained everything in detail before the project. It was a bit of a complex project as it required installing a new sub-panel. Duke installed a 100A sub-panel in our garage from the main panel to install a car charger. Very clean work completed efficiently. Arrived on time on the the day of the appointment and finished everything seamlessly and perfectly. I had spoken to a couple other electricians but everyone else was offering a far more complicated and compromising solutions. Duke's solution was the right one and future proofs our panel to install solar later if we want to. I would recommend Duke for any electrical work.

I have an older home, older electrical panel, and I wanted to upgrade it. I first called another Yelp top-rated electrical company for an estimate. They sent out a sales pitch rep that insisted on telling me how good the company is, showing me company brochures, yes we charge more than others, it's worth it, etc, and then revealed the cost would be shockingly (to me) high. I didn't like it.
I then called California Power and Light and spoke over the phone with the owner, Henry. He asked a few questions about my home then provided an immediate price that was literally half of what the other company quoted. Henry further disclosed that changing the electrical panel would involve cutting into the stucco wall. A city permit is also required. He said I could save some money by getting the permit myself and/or shopping around for a stucco repair service on my own. I preferred to let Henry take care of both of those issues. The out the door price was still good, far below the other company, and acceptable.  In the end I was very satisfied. His work crew did well, they finished in about 6 hours, Henry came out and did the final electrical connections and hookups.  The City of San Jose inspector approved the job the first time around. A stucco worker came out a few days later and did an equally good job in fixing the open areas around the new panel. I only need to re-paint the affected area.  
All in all, I ended up very pleased and I would use this company again.

Two guys came out today and replaced 7 outdoor fixtures and 1 internal.  They ran a conduit to turn a motion sensor fixture into a switch light and they explained it all as they did the work. They were kind, professional and reasonably priced.  I'd totally use them again.

Nick did a great job replacing our old ClipperCreek and replacing it with a Tesla Wall Charger. He responded very quickly and came out on the same day to provide an estimate. I appreciated that he went over various options and worked with me to find a good solution. I would have no problems reaching out to him for future electrical work.

I had an electrical issue on a Saturday. After calling several electricians, I found this company. They came out quickly and resolved the electrical problem. I was very relieved that I didn't have to wait until Monday for an electrician to come out. I would have been without heat/AC which wouldn't have been ideal if there were any weather extremes. I am happy that they fixed the issue promptly.

We recently got a new dryer but it didn't work. David and Sergio helped us a lot. They helped us identify the root cause and replaced the wires. Cleaned everything. They really did an awesome job. Definitely we'll recommend them to all my friends!

He was very responsive, his bid was very competitive, and we were able to have the work done within a few days. Once he arrived he was able to get the job done quickly and answered any questions I had very patiently. Highly recommended.

I had a small job rewiring a couple of ceiling fan wall switches. Carlos was the first to respond to my Yelp request, he had a reasonable price, he showed up exactly on time and completed the work quickly. I will use him again!

Mike was awesome.  Recent storm caused my breaker to keep popping.  They sent Mike out and he got it all sorted out.  Could have taken me for a ride, but the guy was honest and fair.
