TL;DR 110/220V is a family-owned business. Bart and his two sons are extremely reliable, are neat, clean up after themselves, and quick to respond.
Around November 2021, we recently purchased a 1950s Daly City home (around 1000 sqft) that had the original knob and tube electrical wiring. During our preliminary home inspection, it was pointed out that we had to fix a splice in the attic. We called in another electric company around December 2021 to get an estimate, and they basically told us that we had to change out all the wiring in our house. We never got a quote from that company. We knew that we needed to get an estimate and that's how I found Bart. I reached out to him on Yelp and he responded within the hour. The next day he was already at our house, ON TIME, and did a thorough walkthrough. He also agreed that we had to rewire our house, but unlike the other electrician, he explained why everything had to be done. Bart also gave some suggestions on how to future-proof our home by installing a main panel and sub panel that can handle more electricity than we need, in case we ever decide to get an EV, tankless water heater, etc. He had already established that trust in us.
The next day or so, he sent us an estimate. We reviewed it, and though it was pricey, it was something that we knew had to be done. After doing thorough searching and speaking with friends and family, Bart's price was fair. He maintained thorough communication with us about scheduling the work.
We gave him a code to our front door and he and his two sons worked throughout the day (typically 8am-4pm). They were always on time. They wore shoe covers inside of the house as well. Every day they made sure to clean up after themselves and were respectful in moving some of our items out of the way and not making a mess. This aspect was important to me because it showed their quality of work and how they truly care about their customers.
Bart gave us a payment plan and told us his strategy for how he was going to rewire our house -- basically work from the outside in (changed the main panel and sub panel on the first day, then did the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen). At the end of every day, we did a walkthrough to check up on the work and it was excellent. There were minimal holes made in the walls -- really only what was necessary, and nothing bigger than the size of a small hand. They work with a high attention to detail too -- all of the electrical outlets had their flathead screws facing the same direction (not important, but a nice touch to say the least).
At the very end, Bart explained to us what to do if any of the circuits in our house tripped and where everything is. He's done everything he's promised. We had a miscommunication (on our part) about a dryer outlet, but he gave us a really good price to get the work done. Bart is an honest guy, really transparent, and genuine. I hope that if you made it this far reading this review that you will consider working with his company. I still keep in touch with him via text in case I have any questions, and he's very quick to respond. He's a good friend, and I would definitely recommend working with him and his family!

Juan, was able to come and solve my problem right away and even supported me after hours. He installed a Tesla charger for me and moved around some electrical outlets. His pricing was fair and he did great work. I would highly recommend using his services.

I was in desperate need to find a handyman/electrician who can replace my bathroom vent. Norman came by to assess the work and offered to provide consolation for me to do the work to save time and money. He worked with me for countless of hours but this job was over my head since I've never installed one and don't have the correct tools. Norman was very detailed and focused on doing the work correctly. He provided key advice for someone who's never performed this job to be successful. He acted as a great motivator and encouraged me to not quit. Unfortunately, I was at the end of my skill. He referred me to Ray who completed the job. Ray was very thorough and will not compromise quality for time or $$$. He found more issues and corrected them as he does not like to leave the job knowing things aren't correct. Ray gave great options and the final result was perfect. We are very pleased with the quality work Ray did. I would highly recommend SAN MATEO HANDYMAN if you need a handyman....

Jacob and Ashley just completed the electrical installation of my hot tub. They went above and beyond the entire process to ensure the tub was up and running asap. They stayed late while the tub filled, to ensure they completed setup and start instructions and had me in the tub that night safely! I would use them again and highly recommend!

Sunday, Nov. 27, my husband and his dad were drilling a hole to mount our new TV on the wall. While drilling, they hit a wire and our electricity went out. We start calling electricians in the area and it being a Sunday, every electrician is busy or not available. Alex at AJ Electrical responds letting me know he can come over to take a look at the damage. He showed up earlier than expected and ended up fixing our problem. He explained everything he was doing to my husband and we had our electrical problem resolved. Very nice and knowledgeable guy. Thank you Alex for take the time on a Sunday to give us our electricity back! Will definitely use him in the future. Highly recommend!

I had an urgent issue in my home where my bottom floor lights were completely out, and I did not know what triggered that for it to happen.
I did not provide much notice and Mikhail was able to come over to fix the issue. He evaluated the issues and in a very short amount of time, he was able to fix the problem.
During the process, Mikhail explained what was going on and the process he was going to take to fix it.
I appreciated his transparency, his efficiency and his friendliness.
I've been looking for 5 years for a dependable electrician and now I have one. Thank you so much!
10/10!!

Tom came over on a weekend and solved two problems, a shorted out light fixture and a ceiling fan that stopped working. He quickly figured out the fixture. The fan required some troubleshooting but the puzzle was solved simply by identifying an error in a code setting. Tom has a great sense of humor and one might say is brutally honest with a smile when it comes to what's easy to fix and what's not. So I agree fair, fast, professional!

Came across Daniel via yelp when I was looking for affordable electricians. He was prompt in calling me and coming up to my house and provided a quote for installing three fans, few lights and fixing my ring doorbell found his quote very affordable and in line with my research on the costs for the work done.
On the day of work, two electricians Giovanni and Horasio came for work right on time at 8 am. They were clean and thorough and once the work was done they did a fairly good job patching the drywall also so that there are no holes. While working on the job they also mentioned the areas where there were no grounding and gave rough estimates for fixing the issues.
It took a little time to communicate the needs when we followed up but once he understood the requirements properly he provided fair estimates for grounding the areas where it was missing across the house.
The main positives I felt was that Daniel works with the customer and discusses the needs effectively and explains the work. He also provides guarantees for the work he did and keeps up to his word. The ring doorbell installed did not have the enough power to keep it on, he replaced the wiring and transformer free of charge based on the guarantee he will fix the doorbell.
I happily booked him again for replacing the wiring in my house and grounding the rooms without ground, he worked with me on how to do the grounding with minimal holes on the wall and also on how to patch them effectively.
Kudos to Giovanni and Daniel for working with me and update my home at an affordable price. Will surely recommend him for electrical work and he will be my first choice for future work.

Massis is incredibly responsive. We needed a 240V outlet installed in our garage for an EV. He replied to all my questions right away. Showed up at the scheduled time. He charges very reasonable rates and did good work. He even helped us install the charging unit.
If we have future electrical work, I'm definitely going with AMZ Electric!

Mark is the man for all things electrical and wiring, including audio and much more. I first met Mark when he bid my $125K kitchen remodel and he won the bid based on price, persistent follow-up and great communication. There was A LOT of electrical work involved in this remodel - new circuits, moving power all over the place, working with the Town of Danville for permitting, etc. He did a great job, all on-budget and on-time.
I have since used Mark's Electrical Services to move an entire subpanel from a coat-closet to the garage, adding additional breakers and individual circuits, as well as installing a new 220v line for a hot tub installation.
Another great thing about Mark is that he constantly keeps himself up with new technologies, lighting ideas and offers great suggestions when you are in-question of something.
I have since referred Mark to as many people as have ever mentioned needing anything electrical - big and small. I am not related to Mark, but would trust him with anything!

This is my second review for Rodriguez Electric. The first was for a problem I had at my house and the second is for a problem my 83 year old mother had at her house. She had almost a complete electrical outage at her house. Only lights and outlets in the kitchen. This happened on a Saturday evening around 7pm. I did not want her home in the dark so called George immediately. He was out of town but came home early to repair my mom's problem first thing Sunday morning! He came right when he said he would and fixed the problem without over charging or anything. He is the best. I highly recommend!

Wong is so full of attitude, arrogance and not to mention communication issues. He will not talk to you without intimidating you to extent you didn't you could be. I will recommend you pass on this one. Not worth the trouble and frustration to go though even basic thing as asking questions and have him give you a straight answer. On perhaps your third try, he will respond to you, if he likes you, that is.
I can't imagine who will give him 5 stars reviews with his serious attitude and arrogance issues.
Look elsewhere.
