This review is overdue but my experience with Odom Electric has been excellent -- every time.  

We first worked with Rob Odom when installing new lighting throughout the kitchen and living room.  Rob is a straight shooter and was professional all the way.  he took care of things like he was working on his own house.  We had special ordered a chandelier that arrived a couple days after the other lighting work was completed and paid.  I was going to put it up since it arrived late -- but he said it was part of the job and came out to hang it.  Aren't contractors supposed to disappear after you pay?.... not Rob.

Later I had to call him up after I drilled into an electrical line while installing shelves in the soon-to-be baby room.  Rob was able to come out -- arrived on time and knocked out the work at a great price.  He didn't bust my chops about my bone-headed mistake and ran a new line in no time.  My pregnant wife was relieved to know we had safe wiring once again.

Last we contacted Odom electric to move some electrical switches and add new outside lighting.  What i really appreciate about Rob is he took the time to come out and assess the job and give me a detailed quote.  He listens and is totally willing to discuss options -- and not just the ones that make it easiest for him.  The work he did was excellent, clean and professional.

I consider myself a competent do-it-myself man (ah ok, the previous drill meets electrical line incident is not representative) but when it comes to electrical work, its awesome having a good electrician I trust to do professional work at a more than honest and fair price.  I don't hesitate at all in recommending Odom Electric to friends and folks needing an electrician.

I had a problem at my house, three rooms upstairs are out of power. I got an electrician came over, he spent a couple hours and did not find out exactly where it disconnected. Then I got one of my friends referred Arkadiy to me. When he came over, I can feel he is sharp and systematic. It seems to be a hard problem to solve initially, but Arkadiy got it all figured out eventually. Very impressive. (The previous electrician told me he might have to open the wall to trace down the lines. Then it will become a big project.) I am so happy Arkadiy came and helped me.

The work is done professionally. The price is very reasonable. Now I know when I need any electrical work to be done, whom should I turn to.

Ben is like family to us at this point. He is so incredibly responsive and has helped us with so many various projects around our house. He is always on time, incredibly reasonable with pricing and more importantly than anything he does extremely high quality work. On top of all of that, he is just a great guy that you can tell cares for his customers. Many times what would have been a more costly solution he has made suggestions and ways to address my needs at a much lower cost and simpler solution. Thanks Ben for everything.

The technician Yovani is very responsive and the communication is straightforward. He arrived job on time, quickly understood the issue and started working on it right away. He is very knowledgeable and skilled. He was able to get the work done quickly with high quality. I would definitely use his service again if I have any electrical problems.

We bought a new house and needed to remodel before moving in on a tight schedule. After getting frustrated with contractors who didn't answer their phones I asked for a referral from friends. Vinh came highly recommended and I reached out to him. His professionalism and promptness were a pleasant surprise.

Before the scheduled work day, Vinh arrived to plan the project and took a lot of time to explain what he was going to do and went over options. We were getting popcorn ceilings removed, recessed lighting installed and new paint in the house. His work was clean and professional and completed a day before schedule and his prices were also competitive with other contractors.

He can take on not only painting but any other general projects around the house. He is my go to guy for anything specially electrical as he is an electrical engineer.

Amazing! We had several issues that had been building up and were dreading calling someone fearing how much all the little things might add up to be. I spoke to Mike who answered my call right away. He asked me to send a summary of the issues and got back to me early the next morning saying they could be there same day. Raphael came by and fixed EVERYTHING in an hour. He was so friendly and didn't make us feel silly even though a couple of our issues were user error :) Their pricing was very reasonable and everything is working now. We are really stoked and will absolutely call again for any issues we have in the future. Thanks for everything Raphael and Mike!

I want to give a shout out to Dan Charles of Charles Electric. Dan just installed an outdoor outlet which was just one of many electrical jobs that he has done for me going on 2 decades. He always shows up with a smile on his face with a can do attitude. Oh, did I mention that he also took care of 2 other issues on the spot. It is hard to find a good electrician that will take on a small job with as much kindness and enthusiasm as a big job. Dan's my man!

Brian came by yesterday to fix a malfunctioning light switch.  He was right on time and very professional.  Fixed the switch quickly - it's great to have a working light in my bathroom !!  Thanks Brian !!

Finding an electrician or a specialist for networking gear can be challenging.  Luckily for me, I was able to connect with Felipe from Almighty Electric, Inc.  From our first conversation, I knew I was dealing with someone that was honest, fair, and very professional.

My project entailed installing indoor access points, and one outdoors.  Cutting into sheetrock, running CAT6 cable in-wall, and in my attic is no easy feat.  I knew that selecting the right company/installer would be critical to not only my wireless network but also the overall aesthetics of my home.

After discussing all the logistics of the installation with Felipe, he provided me with a very competitive quote as well as a detailed list of the materials needed.  We agreed on a date and time to kick things off, and the rest is history!  Felipe and his crew arrived on time, executed their plan, and got my network up and running.  They work efficiently and very meticulously.  They covered all of their work areas to make sure my floors were protected at all times.  If you are looking for an honest electrician that does great work, give AEI a call.

Had an issue with a circuit breaker constantly shutting off in our electric panel. It knocked out  power to a wall the length of our house. Called a couple electricians & left messages with no returned calls. Left a message today with Jay and got a call back in under 1/2 hr. Explained my problem and he said he could come by by 5 pm after another job. He arrived 40 mins ahead of time, yea, and found breakers to be ok. But found a faulty plug in back bedroom with too many items plugged into it. Gave an estimate ( which I believe to be very fair) to add addition plug outlet to that room.

He was very personable and professional, and would recommend to anyone needing an electrician. Now I have someone to call when the problem arises!

I dont want to give a low score because I dkd not proceed, but my experienced retired contractor friend advised me to go elsewhere when he saw the $3,500+ quote to replqce my subpanel.  First, I ended up getting the job done for $150 by my hanyman when I figired out it waa just a circuit breaker replacement. Second, there was nothing wrong with the panel itself. My contractor friend said look for rusting/corrosion around the bus bar and there was none. Third, the rationale to replace the subpanel was due to the current one being out of code, not because it failed. However, there is no reason or requrement to bring it up to code for a circuit breaker swap.  Fourth, even if there truly was a reason to replace the panel, their quote was double of what it should cost. Fifth, even though I did not proceed they kept sending auotmated messahes to review them. My contractor called them hustlers, but you be the judge.  I have a lot of property and I go elsewhere, but if you want prompt response, professionalism, dont worry abiut overpaying for stuff, maybe this vendor is for you.  Different strokes for different folks

Rigo's work was quite satisfactory - fixed my track lighting, and it's still working fine. He was considerate, and came a little earlier than expected to accommodate another appointment I had later that afternoon. He is friendly and pleasant. Their work is not inexpensive, but I felt that was acceptable for a good job. Also our building management recommended the company.

Sonny was able to come to our residence and make major changes to existing electrical work to prepare for a solar install. We then asked him to help us with the electrical in a new build to residence and the work was done complete with updates along the way and recommendations of things to think through. Then I added an additional project of wiring my house for data with a small network closet.

Sonny has been super responsive to any questions concerns or plan changes to the existing work. The quality of work is great, the ease of working with Sonny is excellent, and he's now my go to for any electrical needs.

Sonny also makes sure to take care of the work area and surroundings and cleaning up after the job.

I would highly recommend Sonny.

Gus and his team are very professional, smart, fast and come with a battery of equipment to make sure the job gets done correctly and quickly.  I have hired Gus on multiple jobs around the home, all of which required drilling in walls and ceilings. Each time he left without a bit of dust on the ground.  The guy is good and I recommend highly.

Took a chance with Khalif and his brother since they are new to Yelp and don't have many reviews. But the reviews they did have were good and their estimate was very reasonable. We're happy that we did.

We had a pretty simple job- some recessed lights and switches installed. Work was done very efficiently. Communication was good.

They could have done some draping so as to make cleanup easier (drywall dust), but other than that we're very happy with the work.

Very pleased with the experience. Tesla charger install which required meter upgrade and city permit went extremely smoothly. They are very busy so getting an estimate took some time but it was definitely worth the wait.

Solved all our electrical problems!  Even took time to educate us on proper bulbs for our fixtures Highly recommend!  Matt knows his stuff!
