Doug is a great guy and of course he's A very experienced electrician I had them upgrade a panel to 200 W at the house and his team did a great job along with him very impressed. He's a very honest man. This is the 2nd time I used him. He's  very professional you won't be disappointed trust me! A++++++

We have used Gomez electric two times now, the most recent being yesterday.  The response time is quick.  They are both friendly and knowledgeable. Gomez electric knows the business and the prices are reasonable. We highly recommend this business.

Dave does excellent work. My home office had been dim for years, with no ceiling lights and little natural light. Dave created a lighting plan and installed five recessed lights that can be adjusted and dimmed, and now it feels like I have a whole new office. I'm happy with the results, and I highly recommend Dave's services. He worked quickly but carefully, and he vacuumed up after every step to keep drywall dust to a minimum. Hire Dave!

Bob helped me out big time when I was in a bind. Great work and did well under pressure. Tensions were high and I was stressing, but Bob showed his Bobcat spirt and completed the job much to my satisfaction. I would recommend Hillsborough Electric to anyone looking for an excellent  electrician.

The Hertz electric team were great. They came on time, and got the jobs I had needed done completely perfectly.

These excellent guys got so few five-star reviews? LOL, they are too low profile. I'm a reator and they are so far the best I have worked with. This time, they did a smaller project for our own home.
They don't charge the cheapest ( I have quoted several good-reviewed licensed electricians), but they are not the most expensive too. Price is just one thing, the more important thing is:
1. They are super professional. Eveey details had been taken into consideration. And their crew is very clean, always clean up any mess after working day. Very polite too.
2. They are very creative. There are several non-standard problems, and they are the only person who proposed perfectly work-around solution. I like that they are sharing their much knowledge and experience with me, instead of saying simply no or doing larger disruptive project to our walls and current electrical system.
3.  Very easy to work with. The owner Gustavo is funny to talk with:) and Alfanso is very responsive, always explain to me about details and different options. And document them as much as possible to keep us on the same page. ( we change our requirements for several times)

Highly recommend if you need a professional and respectful electrician.

There weren't many reviews of Brian or Alpine Electric, so i was a little worried about hiring him. I shouldn't have been. He was referred to me by another contractor who assured me he was good, and he and his crew were outstanding.

1. Dust control--Brian goes overboard on protecting from any construction dust and debris. He made such a nice plastic vestibule with zippered door that I was almost tempted to leave it. Even though the area he was working in was not in use, he and his crew cleaned things up beautifully at every end of day.

2. Reliable--Brian came when he said he would, completed things in a timely manner and let me know his schedule ahead of time.

3. Not just an electrician--I ended up having Brian build some walls for us and his carpentry skills are impeccable. He has incredible attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics. he recommended some improvements and I went with them. He doesn't leave things unfinished, and customer satisfaction is clearly a high priority.

4. Doesn't try to oversell--I had him look at some of our other electrical. He pointed somethings out, and fixed them, and said everything else looked fine.

5 Great crew--I don't love having a bunch of workers in my house, but Brian and his crew were great. They were very respectful, nice and helpful. I had them do a few extras and the billing was reasonable.

6. On budget--Brian gave me an accurate estimate and informed me of any additional charges before starting work.

I will definitely hire him for my next project.

What can I say? Rick is the MAN!!

We were without power to a portion of our house for two days and after pretty much taking the house apart and going crazy trying to fix it myself I hit a wall. I called up Rick on a Sunday evening and he was at my place in less than 30 minutes and fixed the problem in no time. Not only did he troubleshoot our problem but he gave my son and I some great lessons in electrical work. I highly recommend him!!

Our oven/stove kept shorting out and we were afraid to use it. I spoke with Cole Bene and described what we observed. He came out the next morning and diagnosed the problem. He not only fixed it promptly but he also evaluated other possible sites of problems and made sure everything was safe and in working order.  We also had a problem with our outside lights that a handyman and another electrician could not figure out. Cole resolved this problem as well. If you need an electrician I highly recommend him. He really knows his business.

I had a problem with my outlets and I had tried to reset at the outlet and the circuit breaker and it didn't work. But Ed talked to me on the phone to try to help me troubleshoot and  taught me how to fix the problem free of charge! Definitely an honest electrician who knows his stuff.

They did a good job on day 1 and agreed to come back and finish the remaining part next day. However, they never came back. Even after repeated calls, they never responded back.

Francisco (also known as Frankie) is our go to person for any kind of electrical work in the house. He is knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and does amazing work. We've been calling him up for all sorts of electrical work since before he was on Yelp. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Ideal Electric.  I have a house in Oakland and Esed came from Berkeley to give me a bid on the same day I called him, even though he had a job in Lafayette.  He was extremely prompt, and seriously checked out my small electrical projects.  He took the time to measure things, check wires, and he provided me with every possible scenario for the different projects.  He was able to schedule the job within the week, and even told me exactly what type of lighting I could buy on my own to save money.  Esed was very professional, very prompt and a very honest guy.  I would recommend him for any job, he is extremeley knowledgeable!  I called the other companies with many good reviews on Yelp, including fighting Amish, they called me back late at night and could not even come out for a bid for about 2 weeks!  Esed came out, gave me a bid, and ultimately got the job done in a week!  A full week before I could even get any other company out to provide me with a bid for my job!  Esed is a hidden gem, and I second the other reviews that said they kind of want to keep him a secret since he is so good, but his stellar work and reputation need to be put out there!!!

I have chosen to not use their services, because of the way I was treated over the phone. I do appreciate that Gus took the time to speak with me about my project, but did not appreciate being talked down to when asking questions. I inquired about the process, hourly rates, and purchasing supplies. It helps me to understand a project thoroughly before starting. I was told, I really don't want to get into the setup process with you. I've been doing this 30 years. You're not going to understand because it's technical. You will either get bored or frustrated.

My experience was the equivalent of asking a question and receiving, Because I said so, as a response. In this situation, it was, Because I've been doing this for 30 years. I am going to find an electrician willing to answer my questions and walk me through the process.

What you want in a plumber is someone to show up fast (you've probably got a clogged drain or burst pipe), quickly diagnose and solve the problem, and charge you a fair rate. Yevgeny and General SF provide all that!

30 minutes after I called him about an overflowing vent attached to the dishwasher he was at the house sleuthing around to find the problem. After flushing out this drain and cleaning out that pipe he solved the problem and we could rejoice in the knowledge we'd no longer be washing dishes by hand.

And did I mention this all happened before lunch and for a responsible price. Feels good to know I've got a reliable plumber on speed dial.
