I owe General Electric Service a review in yelp.  In Nov 2020 I sent a request in yelp looking for licensed Electrician to restore the electric power of my detached garage in backyard.    

Edwin and Hormoz are the first one to reach out to me and the first one to come onsite for inspection & consultation.  Their price is very competitive.  Most importantly, the quality of their job is SUPER!  There are multiple other electrician professionals came to my house and provided various solutions, but the way how General Electric Service solved my problem is the most effective and economic one.  They have a partner who dug a trench in the ground, and the trench job was also completed very clean and safe.

I will definitely recommend General Electric Service and I will call them again if I have any electric work in future.

We needed to have breaker panel in our vintage condo (1977) inspected and if necessary, upgraded.   Albert said we only would need to switches replaced but not the entire panel,  a super honest guy and very good at what he does.    Highly recommend!

I was looking around for days to find a fair price and great labor work to replace my old circuit breaker panel . Mike and Nhan did a wonderful job on replacing my old panel with a brand new one and also enlightened me with the do's and don'ts on electrical work. Showed a genuine care for my problems. Down to earth and friendly service. I would tell anybody if you already have an electrician in mind (CALL DV ELECTRIC AS WELL) they will show you and tell you what your electrician has not already shown you. Keep in mind they come out to you for no charge!

I was so happy with this company's service.  Mike is a very nice, smart man.  He helped me with my range electrical problems in my kitchen.  He was knowledgeable, and I felt confident with him making sure the electricity going to my stove was safe.  He also talked with me about installation of a new range.  On his way out, he talked to me about LED lighting, and I am now considering calling him back to change out my lights!

James helped us out with some lighting and a ceiling fan in a pergola in our backyard.  He was a total professional and easy to work with!  He did everything he said he would in the timeframe he committed to.  We would love to work with James again!

We highly recommend Gary. We needed our recessed kitchen lights fixed and Gary was responsive and came the same day (there was a cancellation). He was punctual, polite, and wore a mask/shoe coverings. We were impressed at how fast he was able to troubleshoot the problem, install new lights and fix our wires (did the job in two hours). He even helped sweep the debris after. We will definitely hire him again if we need another electrical job done. Thank you Gary! We are so happy with our new LED kitchen lights!

Richard is fantastic. Had him out to our home several times for different projects. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He always arrives on time and his customer service is excellent. We highly recommend him.

Dmitry's really professional in arriving on time, great eye contact, courteous, listens carefully to customer requests and delivers the end results as close as possible.  His estimates are really close to his invoice as well.

He came over once to estimate and to complete the job the next time around.  You should see his laser pointer on a tripod that serves as a guide on the wall to help visualize where things are going and helps with the drilling work.  Pretty amazing set of tools.  The job was done several months ago, and I still remember that.  No problems whatsoever with the 110V extensions that he helped put in.

I've a new request this week and just pinged him again to install new wall plugs around the house.

I had issues with a light fixture in the bathroom where the light didn't turn on and a switch that shorts the circuit when turned on. The brothers responded quick to my quest on Yelp and came on time for the appointment. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and resolve the issues. The lightbulb had a different outage that didn't work and the ground wire was touching the circuit that was shorting. They quoted me $180 for diagnostic that covers up fixed and the job got done in 30 minutes. I am a handy person myself, but was really stumped with those two issues. Getting the professionals to come in and solve those problems quickly was definitely worth the money.

I called TD West because electricity  went out in our living room outlets. We checked our electric panel in our garage. The breaks are all fine. Tom took the call, and actually troubleshot the problem with me over the phone. It turns out we have two electric panel. And we only looked the one inside, not the one outside. And the circuit break controls the living rooms are outside. After flip it, everything back to normal.

I really appreciate Tom go beyond his duty and doing this over the phone without any charge. They are really exemplary of good service!

My son and his wife live in my home in Silicon Valley. Their electric bills were over $300 so we decided to go solar. I called Coastwide for an electric service panel upgrade and solar quote last month. Mickey, the owner, came out, evaluated the situation, looked at the electrical usage and offered us a great deal if we did both at the same time. Their price was literally thousands of $$$ less than the competing quotes I received and their reviews were all very favorable - so we went with Coastwide. Mickey and his crew were nothing short of amazing! They arranged everything with PG&E for the service panel upgrade, handled all the plans and permits, had all the materials delivered right to our location and finished the install in a couple of days. They also set up the solar monitoring so we could keep an eye on the solar production and handled the NET metering application with PGE. Mickey was onsite and active in the process throughout. Not often do you see the actual contractor working hand in hand with their crew at the job site. The whole job went so smoothly and Mickey kept us informed and updated all along. We could not be happier and highly recommend Coastwide Electric for your solar and electrical needs.

Hewlett Electric is simply awesome.  I just had a new panel put in with three 'home-runs' to boot.  From the time the team arrived, until the end of the job, there is nothing I can say to express how glad I am to have hired these guys.  Extremely knowledgeable, easy going, and totally open to field every single question I threw at them...which was a lot.  They take their job very serious and when it comes to quality and customer service, they are top notch!  I plan on using Hewlett Electric to install some lighting in the future because I know their attention to detail will be superb!

Ted and his crew were prompt, professional and got the job done in the time estimated.  They understand how to deal with permitting, inspections and scheduling each step in the process.  Specifically, Ted is very familiar with local nuances in each city, related to inspections.  My house, being an older structure with older wiring and an oddly placed riser pole, was not a straight forward project, but it was no problem for the crew.  They completed the work as planned, kept a clean job site and were very courteous throughout the project.  I was very pleased with the work done by the Apollo and would hire them again and highly recommend them to others.

Wesley was great at diagnosising the problem of not getting power to an outlet which just went dead. He fixed the problem quickly and only charged the basic rate. I will use Wesley and alley again for any electrical need in the future.

I contacted Raphael through Yelp and he responded quickly. He came out and replaced all the exterior lights around my house. He was very professional and did an excellent job.

Since then, I've had him come out and do several more jobs. He's always been very responsive and his work is top notch.

I recently asked if he could install dimmable ceiling lights for a picture we had ordered. He had great recommendations and had our lights ready to go when our picture arrived.

Once in a while, you find a company that exceeds your expectations. Raphael is my first call whenever I need help from an electrician.

Our project includes upgrading our existing 100A circuit breaker panel to 200A, add a 60A EV charger, a 240V/50A outlet for a new electric cooktop and a spare 240V/50V for future electric water heater in the garage.  Elvin was exceptional from the quoting process to job completion. He always kept us informed of the actions that he would take during the work.  The job was done professionally with high quality and exactly as agreed in the contract.  There were no surprises and the total cost was reasonable.  I highly recommend Araz Electric.  I would definitely hire them again.  

Btw, the owner is also a great guy.  He stopped by during the project and got our power up and running early. Kudos.

Given that the issue started 8pm on a Friday, the turnaround to set up an appointment was great. Omri came out on Sunday. His inspection was free and, as it happened, it was one of those Easy when you know how problems. He had our power working again minutes into the free inspection. Much obliged, do recommend.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Jamil and his crew are outstanding. He knows his stuff, honest and forthright and does a thorough job. I engaged him a few times, once to fix some sagging doors and the second time to put up some industrial racks at my garage. Jamil is clear in communication, timely, does outstanding work and goes out of his way to help beyond what is expected of him. Highly recommend.

The tech did come wearing a mask. It was good practice in the COVID-19 situation. The tech is also willing to work on my issue. However, the tech sent to my home is not experienced in debugging problems. The price list of level-1/2/3 debug could easily add up to more than $1000 without solving any problem. I don't know if this is common practice in Electricians, but this is not good practice in my opinion.

In the end, I had to ask the tech to stop and paid him for his time spent debugging.
