Words cannot express how happy we are with the phenomenal service and results we received from General Electric Services (Edwin and Hormus). We recently moved to San Jose and spent about two weeks trying to find the perfect electrician for the job. We came across GES and scheduled an appointment; they arrived early and were able to give us a quote and schedule our appointment for installation within 30 minutes! We had recessed lights, recessed outlets, smart switches, ceiling fans and a chandelier installed. They were very very professional, clean, friendly and courteous. We truly had a 5 star experience!

Mike came out on a Saturday.  Solved our problem very quickly for a reasonable price.  He was competent and honest, you don't need to look any further.

James (Jimmy) is very knowledgeable and friendly.  He was highly recommended by my contractor.  He took the time to understand what it was I needed, explained the pros and cons while offering great suggestions, and performed the installation very quickly and efficiently working with my schedule.

He was very patient and was more than happy to explain what was happening and why each part was important.

The work (upgrading main panel to 200 amps, adding a 100 amp sub-panel in the garage, and installing the outlets for my EV chargers) were all done very quickly and efficiently.  James was the best pricing for the service as well.

Gary was great.  He responded to my request immediately and was able to come by the very next day.  We had an electrical issue with our exterior outlets and he identified and resolved the problem immediately.  The next day (sat) there was an issue with one of the outlets and Gary came by as soon as he could.   He never stops working.  I'll be choosing Best Electrical for all my electrical needs.

Hired Richard and Enoch to insert some light boxes on the side of our garage door. Made an early morning appointment. Richard showed up on time and provide a reasonable quote and said he could return later that day and get the work completed before the Warriors game that night. Richard and Enoch showed up, completed the work on time and did a great job.

Richard was a referral to me from a friend and I would absolutely forward on that recommendation on to others.

Dimitry works for my company and he is amazing! He always responds quickly and will do what he can to get out to our emergency work orders. We have never had any issues with his work. I really enjoy working with him. He is easy to get along with, most vendors are rude sometimes but not him!

Everything about with them is great. Answered yelp messages on time, called me to provide a rough estimate, kept in touch via text messages, scheduled a time to appointment. Both of them showed up in time, completed installing the electric vehicle charger in less than 2 hours. They were least expensive in terms of cost and probably the best out if 6 people I talked to for this job. Definitely recommend their services.

Our 50-year old house needs an upgrade. Quick and responsive for the initial estimate. Able to schedule an appointment within days. We have multiple upgrades and troubleshooting. Ran into unforeseen problems, but they were very patient and willing to work with us.

Price is also competitive compare to others.

Tom and his team will be our go-to electrician in the future!

Mickey and his crew came out to upgrade my main electrical panel, install solar panels and add an electric car charging station to my house. Mickey initially came out to give me a solar proposal and found my panel was too small to handle solar. He handled all the design, permits and even scheduling PG&E!

Everything was done very professionally and his crew was extremely clean and respectful. I added a car charger and he only charged me for the parts and not labor because his guys where there anyways to do the main panel. The price came in under my budget and I am so happy with his company!

I don't normally write reviews or even really comment on businesses unless they do something I really *don't* like, so for me to be writing a review on a business that has done something really good is almost unheard of.  I just got a washer and dryer.  Dryer didn't work when the installer came to hook it up - specifically, it didn't get hot, and when I tested the outlet with a voltmeter I only got 120V instead of the necessary 240V.  This is an old house, all kinds of things are funky with it, so my first thought is immediately, crap, the outlet is totally hosed.

While I was waiting for another company to call me back with an estimate, I called Hewlett Electric.  Turns out that I didn't need to have an electrician come out and fix anything - Meigs spent about 30-45 minutes with me on the phone talking me through some troubleshooting and giving me some instructions on what to look for and what the problem probably would be, and ultimately I was able to find the loose breaker and just fix it myself.  Not only did I just save a few hundred bucks, but I can do laundry today instead of having to wait for someone to come fix it.  I am beyond impressed that he took the time to give me a bit of education on residential electricity so that I could do some voltmeter testing and perform what ultimately turned out to be a 30-second fix.

Not only that, but Meigs actually called me back to see if I'd found / fixed it.  I wasn't even technically a customer and yet I got some fantastic customer service.  If I need any electrical work in the future, I know who I'll be calling.

Great experience-Ted was excellent about communicating everything and was very knowledgeable . They were punctual, timely, professional and did a great job installing a new electrical switchboard in our condo at a reasonable price, and did some smaller jobs at the same time. Would hire again for sure

Wesley and his wife are awesome. They did a 200 amp service upgrade at my home about 6 years ago now. I had an old Federal Pacific Stab-Lok electrical panel with 100 amp service that was super dangerous.

They had a really hard time working with the PG&E crew and engineers that were either late or a no-show throughout the job of upgrading to the 200 amp feeders to the new panel. Wes had the patience of a saint and I'm forever grateful for the professionalism and neat job that he did.

Working with this company is a pleasure. We know  Raphael & Francisco (along with their crew) since long time ago and every single time we have been satisfied with their knowledge.
They are always on time (starting and completing the job); they give detailed explanation of the project (advising the best solution); they don't put pressure on the customer (giving all the time you need to think about it). In few words: they are more than reliable!! Thank you guys!!

Elvin from Araz Electric came out of fix an outlet the very next day after contacting. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for all electrical needs.

We've had a longstanding electrical issue and that was quickly evaluated yesterday, much to our relief!  We were also advised that we need to upgrade our panel (I know it to be true and not an upsell).  I will use these folks again as I've added them to my address book for a quick call when needed - and for the panel change!

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

He was attentive to our requests, he is very professional and answered all our queries. We went back-n-forth a few times over materials but he was very patient with all our requests. I highly recommend him for any handyman work.

We had an outdoor spigot that needed to be replaced.  Since it required soldering, I chose to have a professional do the job.  Juan was on schedule and did a wonderful job.  He was very professional, his workmanship was excellent (no leaks) and he was very neat.  He recommended and installed a shutoff valve which was much better than the one I was planning on using.  I'd rate him five-star.    

The cost of the job was on the high side.  They justiy the cost by checking your water heater (which was fine) and commenting on any plumbing issues you might have.  I could have done without the assessment.
