I called four electricians for estimates to upgrade our service panel from 100 to a 200 amp panel.  Albert was the only one who came to give me an on site estimate.  The others gave me a verbal estimate over the phone.

I told all the companies I called my city's building dept. to ask the amount of the permit ($118) and would pull the permit myself.  One company employee argued with me that it would cost more than that.  I did not select that company.  My reasoning is if I start off disagreeing with the company initially, what would happen during the rest of the project?

Albert clearly explained the work he planned to do, the brand he would be using, and gave me a timeline.  Albert coordinated with PG&E and arranged a smooth transition to disconnect and reconnect my upgraded service panel.

Because of the way my old house was originally wired, PG&E required a junction box for the old wiring before being connected to the new service panel.  Albert gave me a choice between a metal (more expensive) or plastic junction box (less expensive).  Both are approved by current electrical code standards.  I chose the plastic box.

The City inspector passed Albert's installation on his first inspection.

Albert was communicative and did not try to upsell me other services.  In fact, because of a time line deadline, I considered using Albert's stucco person but Albert knew I was handy and told me I was capable of doing it myself.  I felt that Albert is honest, ethical,  and reliable.  His estimate was reasonable.

I plan to have Albert upgrade my sub panel in our garage next year.  Highly recommended.

I called him after hours on a Friday night and he managed to squeeze me in the following day!  I needed to upgrade my sub panel in the garage as it was completely full and I'm about to add two AC units in. Mike at Tri-Phase Electric been my go-to electrician lately, and has helped make my long and painful renovation slightly less long and painful.

TPE installed recessed LED lights throughout our entire townhouse (completely changing the feel of the place), as well as tackled several obnoxious and unexpected electrical needs like installing dedicated line for a washer/dryer, and rerouting some troublesome lines to prep for demo. It's an old and cramped place, and everything is less accessible than it should be, but each time, Mike's been responsive, professional, very fairly priced, and very easy to work with. He's also highly dedicated to customer service, and after we changed our minds about some kitchen lighting that he had already done, he threw in a good amount of free service to make sure we were satisfied.

Had 2 great electricians, Eric and Sal, who were on time with appropriate PPE and were finished installing a 220 V and 110 V outlet much faster than expected! Very responsive, professional, and reasonably priced.  I initially spoke with Mickey (via Yelp and then via Text message) and he stopped by and did a quick estimate for a small job.  He put me in touch directly with one of his employees who was going to be in the area about two days later.  James showed up a little late due to traffic but did the job quickly and cleanly.  Highly recommended.

I just spoke to Meigs, he's busy until August (we're in May!), but he provided two recommendations once he knew what I needed done. Interestingly, the two references he provided are the two I called on my own (they also have great ratings on Yelp), but each provided somewhat contradictory advice and waaaaaaay different price points!!

Meigs was super cool. I sent him the same pictures I sent to the others and he gave me his opinion. He also said he'd be happy to answer any other questions I might have- even knowing he wouldn't be able to do work (or be paid for any advice). He's genuinely a nice guy.

I can't wait until August to get the EV station put in, but if I had the luxury of time, I totally would!

Ted did a 200A panel upgrade, as well as a hot tub hookup and some other work at our house. We're very happy with the work he did. I appreciated his attention to detail and the effort he took to make things look nice. For example, taking a trickier path to route a conduit, and relocating a box inside a wall to get a clean finish. Also, he did a great job with the method and prep on the panel upgrade so that I was only a few hours without power, when other electricians had said it could be more than a day. His rate was higher than others, but it's worth it for the quality job.

Very responsive electrician. When I called in they were able to schedule for the next day and the electrician confirmed the appointment and arrived when they said they would. I've had other electricians/contractors do various work over the years and they have been unreliable & usually getting someone to show up is like pulling teeth - Not the case with Alley Electric. Great company with excellent service and reasonable rates. Highly recommended.

We need to have fiber optic cables run through our house to our central media enclosure. Raphael was by far the best among a dozen electricians and contractors we contacted. He was professional and his experience showed. He was very technical and thorough. He spent time evaluating and explaining all our options. We are still deciding whether we want to make the investment in our house for fiber optic so we can use Sonic as our internet service provider or stick with Comcast, who we are very dissatisfied with. If we move forward with the project, we will definitely be using Raphael. In fact, he will be our electrician going forward for everything. He has the utmost integrity; we trust him 100%.

It was good experience with CA electrical company, my electrical panel created some problem, I didn't waste my time because I have heard a lot about CA electrical Group on social media so I called them, they came within the given time slot and sort out my problem

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

I hired Pacific Coast Home Services (via Angi) to remove three non-functioning wall heaters and then patch the drywall. Communication was excellent - I received text message updates and reminders. It was also helpful to receive pictures of the technicians before they arrived. I was able to schedule the work to be completed in a week (review and estimate one day, returned the next week to complete the work). The technicians arrived on time, were ready to work and worked fast! They were careful with my home and put down plastic to cover my floors. They showed me what they did, gave me instructions for when it would OK to paint. Really happy with my experience with Pacific Coast Home Services! Happy to recommend. :)
