Our new home needed a major electrical upgrade. There was no grounding and the lighting throughout the house was very minimal.

I was calling around for electricians and at the time, they were all in high demand and booked out for weeks.

I found David Electric on Yelp and it turned out that one of the electricians I contacted also recommended him. I called Albert and he was able to swing by later that day to look at our system and give us his recommendations. We decided to install recessed lights in all 4 bedrooms, the living room, and the hallway with LED bulbs and dimmer switches. We also wanted the outlets to be grounded and he recommended have one dedicated outlet in each room. He also recommended replacing some breakers in our panel that were not working. He replaced our doorbell and did a few other small tasks around our house that were electrical related.

Albert managed to fit our large job into his schedule over the following 3 weeks after our first meeting and little by little got the job done. Albert is honest, hardworking, and always tries to save his clients money without cutting corners. We really appreciate his work ethic and the quality of his work. Albert is my go-to for all things electrical because I know he will always make time for his customers and do the best he can for them! I have already told friends about him!

I had the pleasure of working with Mike to install several smart outlets and connect those outlets to Hue light strips and also to Amazon Alexa.  Mike was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.  He showed up on time, went out of his way to go the extra step to locate a new switch since the one I bought was not compatible and to connect the new hardware to the wi-fi and to Alexa.   He took the time to understand what I was looking for and then gave me the various options to choose from.  He cleaned up when he was done and everything works as expected.   Mike was the third electrician I hired to do this same project.  I wish I would have found him first.   What was so difficult for the previous elections, was a snap for Mike!   I would hire him again for any electrical project and would highly recommend him to anyone who has need for an electrician.

Fantastic... honest, helpful, and friendly!  We contacted Mike when we feared we were getting a runaround/up-sell from another contractor.  Mike took time out of his day by phone to answer our questions, and even came to our house to review the situation in person and reassure us.  He clearly knew what he was talking about and helped us to parse what the other contractor was telling us, giving us the peace of mind to move forward.  I would not hesitate to contact Mike/Tri-Phase for any electrical services in the future.

JCM Electric was the only contractor that would give me their rate in writing. James showed up on time, was very cordial and friendly, explained what he could and could not do in a manner easy to understand and got the job done quickly. I will definitely be calling on him for future work!

We recently had some electrical work done by Gary and his team -- we needed an EV charger and a couple of dedicated circuits installed.

Richard installed ceiling fans. He did  a great job and gave a great price.   He did not leave any mess.  He was very friendly and honest and gave us tips to save money.

Dmitry was fantastic in helping us replace existing bathroom exhaust fan+light combo with a new, better option. He was very professional & polite, his pricing was very affordable and way lower than OUTRAGEOUS quotes I got from some of other companies on Yelp. End result was perfect, he even managed to avoid cutting sheetrock (something other companies said was mandatory), which saved us another hundred or so dollars.

I am happy to have chosen him for our electrician needs, and will definitely ask for his services again if I'll need them.

Everything about with them is great. Answered yelp messages on time, called me to provide a rough estimate, kept in touch via text messages, scheduled a time to appointment. Both of them showed up in time, completed installing the electric vehicle charger in less than 2 hours. They were least expensive in terms of cost and probably the best out if 6 people I talked to for this job. Definitely recommend their services.

These electricians are beyond great.  Last  night pg&e turned my areas electricity off.  When it came back on only-`part of my house was electrified. Although it was labor day they returned my call within a few minutes and asked me to send pictures of the electrical boxes.  They immediately diagnosed the problem over the phone.  The switch that turns the generator /pg&e was in the wrong position and on resetting it as directed everything worked fine.

I would not hesitate to recommend these electrician`as they are honest and .very competent

There is no need to look any further, Mickey and his crew are the electrical professionals you are looking for! Hire these guys and let them get to work and get the job done for you, you won't regret it!

I typically don't do reviews but these guys totally deserve it. I had been talking to many electricians trying to find the right people for the job for some time and luckily eventually found Mickey.

He has great communication, returning all my calls and texts. He's punctual, always on time and never wasted mine. He's a knowledgeable experienced electrical professional that knows his trade. He was quick to take stock of the job and make really good recommendations on how to proceed. He knew how much work, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. He was matter of fact and no BS. He knew how to navigate the city permit process and inspections and let me know what to expect ahead of time and handled the inspector and PG&E disconnect and reconnect appointments like a pro.

He and his crew did a great job upgrading my 100 amp electrical panel to a modern 200 amp capacity.   They drove in two separate grounding rods to bring me up to code. We pulled circuits in attic for future solar panels, a big one for car charger in garage, two new multi function Panasonic whisper quiet bathroom ceiling fan/heat/light and wall switches, one for each bathroom, they are great! We pulled circuit for new heater and air conditioner to relocate in the attic, new attic light and on/off switch per code, and a new attic fan.

They also did a few side jobs while we were at it,  we cleaned up some old issues, repositioning laundry plug receptacle, new garage door opener power receptacle, and replaced 4 old can spot lights in kitchen with new sealed LED spot lights,  and grounded the water heater. They also pulled a circuit for the external air conditioner condenser in the back of the house. There might be more but that's all I can think of now.  

The whole crew was great, did great work, clean work, no shortcuts, everything was professionally done.

I was looking for a good electrician to establish a good relationship with for my current and any future electrical needs, I'm happy I found Mickey and his crew, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Meigs, Alex, and Amberly went above and beyond to help take a look at the wiring and outlets in our newly purchased house, then installed some recessed lights to help brighten up the space. They were on time, communicative, super efficient, really knowledgeable, and fun to have around. We love how everything looks. On top of that, all of the work done was super transparent- Meigs let us know any time there was the option to add or change something and exactly how much it would cost at that second. No pressure to make any changes if we didn't want to- we were working with a tight budget. He and Alex also made really helpful suggestions, so making decisions was a snap. The house was neat and tidy when they left. We'll definitely be doing any future electrical work with this team. Definitely recommend them.

My living room lights stopped working, and despite his being totally slammed, Ted responded promptly to my queries and sent a crew out a couple of times in between other jobs to diagnose and fix the problem (dead transformer). Excellent customer service...I will definitely be contacting Apollo Electric for future jobs!

Our electrical connection on the weather mast from roof to PGE connection exploded on Friday night.  I contacted Raphael through Yelp and he responded right away so I called him.  He was able to come to our home to give us a free quote and explained everything in detail clearly.  We hired him after talking to a few other electricians.  When it was time to do the work, Raphael helped me every step of the way to get a permit and to contact PGE for reconnection.  He was available by text and phone call and responded quickly.  Would definitely hire him again for other work around our house.

Worked with Elvin on correcting some existing issues with the two 50A outlets in the garage.  Since these are very high power, I wanted them done properly by a professional and Elvin did all that.  

Some unexpected issues came up and Elvin was very helpful and transparent in what the options were.  Very happy with the job Elvin did, including the extra work that was needed due to a previous contractor's less-than-stellar work.

The work was done on time and correctly, for which I give them two stars.  Would have been five if not for the relentless badgering for payment that began, literally, the minute the job was completed.  I didn't receive an invoice for three days after the job, at which point the day consisted of multiple texts, email, and phone messages demanding payment.  Further, the invoice was dated due five days before the work was scheduled, despite the $1000 deposit I paid.  There are many electrical service companies out there.  Find one that doesn't pay for fake reviews and won't treat you like a deadbeat and harass you nonstop until paid.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Our handyman Jamil was excellent. He reviewed our issue and gave us a few options. Once we chose the way we wanted to fix it, he promptly came back with the right tools later in the day and fixed our closet door really well! Highly recommend.

I am writing on behalf of Mr. Jonathan V. I recently experienced a water leakage in my water heater. Given my limited budget I had to do lots of research to find the most affordable and trusted company to replace my water heater. Several technicians from different companies came to give their assessment and their pricing.  Mr. Jonathan V.'s assessment was super helpful because it alerted me to the gas valve that was too old. And may have had leaks.  When I later called him and told him about smelling gas in that area, he instructed me to call the PG&E which is something I didn't know I could do. The PG&E technician detected a gas leakage and fixed it immediately. Mr. Jonathan V.'s feedback saved my life!! I If he had not picked up the phone or if he was not kind enough to share his knowledge with me, I don't know what could have happened. Praise GOD!  Also, he tried to open up the water shut off valve, but he soon realized it was broken inside which was important for me to know.  He spent quality time with me for my better understanding of the many plumbing issues not just the water heater. Thank GOD. For example, he alerted me to a leak in the wall in my downstairs caused by an issue from upstairs. He checked three bathrooms to identify the source. He checked my laundry detergent and the flushing of the toilet upstairs. He also pointed an issue about the way I had installed my water filter at the faucet that I may need to resolve.  Overall, he went beyond the call of duty to help me become educated about what needed repair and what was functioning fine etc.. And I highly recommend him.  Thank you.
