Recently, I hired DV Electric to install 20+ recessed lights throughout my townhouse.  My experience with Mike and his team was outstanding. He responded to my initial request promptly, and came out and checked out my place. I didn't have much experience and clue about recessed lighting and asked for advice from him.  I communicated my idea/goal of each room, and he listened carefully and formulated his own suggestions, giving me options and ultimately let me decide on the options based on his advice.  He definitely works with the customer to understand their needs, and not govern the work to be done in a fixed way. He was able to clearly point out the tradeoffs to each approach, like which would involve more effort/drilling, cost of each option, etc. His team showed up on time, worked efficiently and laboriously, planning out the placements, measuring, drilling holes, running wires in the attic, installing dimmable switches, etc.  The work was done within his estimate of 2 days. Totally, 23 recessed lights were installed, and I was very happy with the work and result, and they cleaned up well after the project.  He was able to fix minor issues along the way, again showing his dedication to customer service. His rates were also very reasonable.  To me, many things stood out about his work -  his flexibility and patience in accepting changing requirements, a can-do attitude, honesty, responsive and excellent communication, technical expertise in his field, and overall being a cool guy to work with!  If I have any more electrical needs, I would certainly give Mike a call again and would recommend him to others without reservations!

Mike came down as promised and helped resolved the issue. I spoke with a few and had a few come down but none of them were accurate in diagnosing the issue. They also have long list of things and big bills going to $$$$. Mike came down and pointed the root cause  was on the breakers and gave a very fair estimate and said you can pay me after you observe for 1 week.. Man that's honesty to the core..5 stars because :

James (Jimmy) is very knowledgeable and friendly.  He was highly recommended by my contractor.  He took the time to understand what it was I needed, explained the pros and cons while offering great suggestions, and performed the installation very quickly and efficiently working with my schedule.

He was very patient and was more than happy to explain what was happening and why each part was important.

The work (upgrading main panel to 200 amps, adding a 100 amp sub-panel in the garage, and installing the outlets for my EV chargers) were all done very quickly and efficiently.  James was the best pricing for the service as well.

Gary is very professional. We got recessed lightings done throughout the house. We haven't had any issue yet. He is punctual and makes sure that quality is maintained

Richard promised a lifetime warranty on the job done during the quoting process, apparently, this warranty is voided when you do not give a 5-star review on yelp

The job was performed in June 2018, last week, there's a sudden main breaker jump so I called and left a message asking him to come out and check it out. When he returned my call, he said that 4-star review is an insult to him and I should ask someone else to come out and hung up.

Never in my knowledge that 4/5 is that bad, let alone an insult. I left him a voicemail back to state that it was an honest review but never meant to be an insult. The 1-star being taken off due to the hassle of trying to get a hold of him and his lack of updates on arrival times

Anyway, I did get someone else out to replace all the burned parts

Arsen did the electrical wiring for our new generator. They were prompt and efficient in the proposal stage and arrived as expected to do the work, they had a great price, and did the job professionally. I will call them back for any electrical needs.

Ted's techs Luis and Jordan came my home and installed Tesla Wall Connector this morning. It is an amazing job!! The job took 3.5 hrs (started 9AM and finished 12:30). For my case, they have to wrap surface mount conduit all the way from my deep backyard and then across the front to get to the charging location. It requires a pretty long and winding conduit. But Luis and Jordan laid it out beautiful and efficiency. I am impressed by their and job. Will definitely hire them again. BTW, Ted replied emails in a timely manner, easy to communicate!

Alley Electric were amazing!!! We called several electric companies. We never even received a call back from any of them. The ones we did receive a call back from gave us vague quotes and didn't even offer to come out to take a look at what we needed. Not Alley Electric. They were professional, on time, gave us all the information needed and quote. They made things so easy for us on our upgrade of our electrical panel. They were thorough, answered all my questions, made things as easy on us as possible. Even the inspections ran smoothly with Alley Electrics by our side with the city. We think the bad reviews had a lot to do with the customers expecting them to do something they weren't supposed to do. We thought the contract was clear and concise. After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Had several scopes of work that Jamil helped with, started with 2 and grew to 4 projects inside and outside the house (subfloor install, raised header for door, patched wall, repaired exterior fence that was damaged) and all were completed timely. Jamil and his crew are punctual, clean and very respectful of the house.

Would definitely recommend and hire again.

So, Juan came over today to fix the power, as both the living room and bathroom lights weren't working. He checked the breaker in my unit, then went to the main power outlet and flipped the breaker back on to fix my issue, then he showed me how to do it if something like this happened again. He explained that running the oven and computer at same time could flip the breaker off, and to be careful about using too many electrical devices at once.
