Our new home needed a major electrical upgrade. There was no grounding and the lighting throughout the house was very minimal.

I was calling around for electricians and at the time, they were all in high demand and booked out for weeks.

I found David Electric on Yelp and it turned out that one of the electricians I contacted also recommended him. I called Albert and he was able to swing by later that day to look at our system and give us his recommendations. We decided to install recessed lights in all 4 bedrooms, the living room, and the hallway with LED bulbs and dimmer switches. We also wanted the outlets to be grounded and he recommended have one dedicated outlet in each room. He also recommended replacing some breakers in our panel that were not working. He replaced our doorbell and did a few other small tasks around our house that were electrical related.

Albert managed to fit our large job into his schedule over the following 3 weeks after our first meeting and little by little got the job done. Albert is honest, hardworking, and always tries to save his clients money without cutting corners. We really appreciate his work ethic and the quality of his work. Albert is my go-to for all things electrical because I know he will always make time for his customers and do the best he can for them! I have already told friends about him!

Our old house needed rewiring but we had limited budget.
Nhan stopped by, listened to our needs, discussed with Mike and we quickly converged on what's essential for our budget.
Then the team started on a Saturday.
During the work, a lot of challenges from previous owners' amateur arrangement were discovered. The team were able to complete the job to modern standard without breaking the old structure.
They even helped to enforce the structure around new outlets so the finished work is to the code from all aspects.
On budget, on schedule and reliable work for modern living. And cleaned up afterwards. Definitely will call Mike again for our next project.

Mike was very friendly and gave useful suggestions when he initially came to visit for a quote. His quote for installing the EV charger was comparable to another quote I had gotten. I decided to go with Mike knowing that he wasn't trying to upsell anything. He did a great job and came by to do the work on a weekend since I needed the charger installed soon.

Great service by James M.! He came to us the same evening of my call after a very large tree fell on our main power line and house. James was extremely kind and helpful and worked directly with the city utilities until our main line was fully tested and quickly reconnected. He understands problems and the city permit hurdles and goes out of his way to help his customers. I highly recommend James, he has great knowledge and also knows how to deal with the utilities and customers, overall great customer service. Pricing was very competitive for a same day emergency service.

Garry helped me to install a new Tesla charger. He replied my inquiry in a timely manner and provided the best solution. On time for his appointment and finished the job on time. The price is also great.

I spent the day being jerked around by this electrician.  I called at 9 am to arrange to have my nonfunctioning ceiling fan looked at and he said he was available in the afternoon.  We agreed he would come around 2:30 or 3:00 and that I'd call him when I was leaving my daughter's house to head home to San Jose.  I did so and he said it would be another hour or so as he finished up another job.  I said that was fine.  At 5:00 I had heard nothing,.so I called him and he said he was just finishing up and he'd be there shortly. Again total silence for another hour and a half.  At 6:30 I texted him and said not to bother.  
No service and not even a phone call to advise me of his delays.  Horrible service.  I will not contact him again.  He may do good work but that isn't all there is to running a business.  Stay away!

Dmitry and team did an excellent job of installing 3 ceiling fans at my house. The team was prompt in providing some competitive quotes and setting up an appointment. They were On time on the scheduled date and had all the necessary equipment to immediately start work. One of the Rooms had no access to the attic hence they had to cut through the walls to installing the wiring. The attached picture clearly shows they did a great job at patching up the wall after the installation. I have reviewed Other pics on Yelp and I have not seen someone take the extra effort to cover up the cuts on the wall. The team was proficient, friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!

I needed to get 2 regular outlet installed, one 220v outlet installed for car charging, 2 floodlight installation. Brayan and his team got the work done for me. They did a good quality work. They arrived on time, are very nice guys to talk too. I would definitely reach out to them for all my future electric work

Needed a 220 for the new Tesla.  After sending photos, got a reasonable quote over Yelp messages.  Technician arrived on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently.  This should all just be expected service from someone you hire, but needless to say I was pleasantly surprised.  Pricing was very reasonable as well.  I feel other places give you a zip code surcharge...

Mickey returned my call immediately and came to home in South Salinas. I have a 100+ year old home with push button light switches, one of which was not working. He explained on the phone that these switches are by order only and I told him I had some replacement switches.  He completed the job in 15 minutes! He does all kinds of electrical jobs and solar as well. Thanks Mickey! I'll be sure to call when I'm ready to replace my dining room light and for any other electrical needs.  I've found the best people on Yelp and I count Mickey in that group!

I've used Hewlett Electric twice for external wiring to my backyard pond.  They are professional, show up on time, call if they are late & an overall class act.  They're busy so do plan on scheduling in advance.

This is the second time I have used Apollo Electric and once again I was very impressed with Ted and his work.  
He was able to make an appointment for me within a few days of my call, he showed up a few minutes early and completed the job in less time than he estimated.  He explained how the new fixtures worked and could be adjusted and made sure I was satisfied with everything before he left.
He did such a nice job of cleaning up I couldn't even tell a contractor had been there.
Outstanding job overall and I highly recommend Ted of Apollo Electric.

Great service, very knowledgeable, explained everything that I needed to know.  I needed to call around for an electrician to install my car charger and possibly upgrade my electric panel.  Got Electricians On Duty from yelp, and after a few messages back and forth, Raphael asked if he could call and explain a few things.  We spent about 20 minutes on the phone and he explained his perspective on the install and update, giving me a few options and some things to think about.  He was very personable and informative without being pushy.  I ended up talking to a few other places and the quote from Electricians on Duty was very reasonable considering the other quotes I received.  Scheduling was simple, and he showed up right on time with his team.  They said it would take a full day, and it did, but I was very happy with the result.  They installed a new, larger panel, an electric car load-management device, and the car charger.  They repaired the drywall that they had to cut and the conduit is clean and sturdy.  He re-explained all the work they did, re-labeled the new panel with all the previous information and warranties his work for 5 years.  I would use him again and would highly recommend him and his team.

UPDATE:
I wrote a scathing and honest review about my interactions with these people. They tried to talk me into $5k+ of work for what turned out to be a $300 bad switch. They insisted that the work I had had done by a licensed electrician a few years ago was dangerous.

But now the issue is not their work, but how they responded to my negative review.

FIRST: Omri  called and left a long, long message saying they were going to take legal steps to get my review removed.

AFTER I edited my review to remove details, TWO MEN SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE. When I didn't answer the door (because I didn't recognize them), they left a letter once again THREATENING legal measures.

They have my address and phone number, obviously, so they could have mailed the letter.   They did not need to send *2* men to my house -- to intimidate me?

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

My mom was returning home after surgery and needed a few critical things taken care of in her home. Jamil replied to my request for a quote promptly, and agreed to squeeze us in the next day. He fixed a broken toilet, a few poorly wired lights and outlets that had been out forever, and evaluated / made recommendations for a few additional projects. He was prompt, courteous, skilled, honest, and affordable. We've already signed him up for a few new projects.

I can't say enough for the technician Cesar Ortega, who came out and replaced our air conditioner.  Cesar was professional, extremely friendly and extremely trust worthy.  I highly recommend Pacific Coast Home Services, and if you can definitely request a Cesar!
