Found GES on yelp and they responded very quick, they came by, explained the issue in detail, provided an estimate of cost. The price was very reasonable for the amount of time and work they put in. They were very clean, respectful and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

We needed to have breaker panel in our vintage condo (1977) inspected and if necessary, upgraded.   Albert said we only would need to switches replaced but not the entire panel,  a super honest guy and very good at what he does.    Highly recommend!

Appreciated the quick response and quote estimate given as a result of my  described home electrical needs.  Because I requested several quotes, ended up working with a different company.  But I give high marks for the responsiveness.  Provides a good first impression.

We needed to upgrade the lighting in our office from fluorescent bulbs to LEDs.  After searching Yelp and calling numerous places to find that most electricians were not qualified to work on commercial properties, we found Mike.  He was responsive and came in for an estimate quickly.  Mike's estimate was half the price of the other we received so we decided to move forward.

There were some delays in obtaining the specific LED bulbs we wanted, but that was not Mike's fault.  When the bulbs finally arrived, he installed them throughout our entire office in two days.  

We are extremely happy with the results!  LED bulbs are brighter and whiter, which is exactly what we wanted.  And though the bulbs were costly initially, we will save in energy costs in the long run.

I would definitely recommend Mike of Tri-Phase Electric!  The job was done well.

I found my go-to electrician. I highly recommend JCM Electric. James (the electrician) is the man! 

I contacted several electricians in the area for EV charging (Nema 14-50 outlet) installation. One electrician was booked until the next month. He didn't even seem interested in answering my questions. I'm assume he does fairly well with his bigger projects & commercial clients and probably consider my needs to not be worth his time. : /

However, JMC Electric responded quickly and offered me a very fair quote (actually significantly lower than the other electricians). James and his assistant came out the very next day! 

James was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all the questions I had. He completed the work in less than 2 hours. 

I am surprised JMC only has a handful of reviews. This guy should have 200+ 5 stars. I will recommend James & JMC to all of my friends & family.

I would give Richard more STARS if I had an option too! Great Guy & Extremely Helpful! I called him and he came over to my house within a couple of minutes! Long story short, he fixed our problem and to put the cherry on top, he called me later in the evening to follow-up on our electrician system and asked if everything was FINE. Talk about customer service! I highly recommended him to anyone who has electrical issues!

Dmitry is an excellent electrician, very professional, honest and helpful. He is very reasonable and provides honest input, plans the project well, provides advice and shows up on time. Will highly recommend him.

I had issues with a light fixture in the bathroom where the light didn't turn on and a switch that shorts the circuit when turned on. The brothers responded quick to my quest on Yelp and came on time for the appointment. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and resolve the issues. The lightbulb had a different outage that didn't work and the ground wire was touching the circuit that was shorting. They quoted me $180 for diagnostic that covers up fixed and the job got done in 30 minutes. I am a handy person myself, but was really stumped with those two issues. Getting the professionals to come in and solve those problems quickly was definitely worth the money.

Electrical stuff is complicated and not something you want to be doing yourself (unless you really know what you're doing) or trusting to a company because they are the cheapest option... THESE are the guys you want working on your electrical. They have a lot of experience and do a really thorough job while keeping you informed.

When we bought our house originally 4 years ago, we had Hewlett re-wire the whole house and ground all the outlets as it was super outdated with cloth wiring or something like that. They did a great job and it's been working well since. So when we wanted to update our house this year with recessed lighting throughout, we called them back up.

These guys showed up on time and even finished the job earlier than schedule. They coordinated with the guys who were removing our popcorn ceiling. They billed us $100 less than the quote because they said they had built in $100 in case of an unforeseen issues and there were none. We had them take down 2 ceiling fans, replace another ceiling fan and add about 30 cans throughout the house. You can tell that they love what they do- really friendly and fun group of guys.

Our ceilings now look fantastic and the lighting makes the house look so much better.
Bonus: you can pay by credit card so I racked up some points/miles too :)

Was a little hard to schedule, but now I know why their service is so much in demand. Extremely professional, courteous and fast. Chris and his partner were on time, finished the job promptly, and made sure to leave the place clean (it matters, especially when you have a restless little one!). Great service, very knowledgeable, explained everything that I needed to know.  I needed to call around for an electrician to install my car charger and possibly upgrade my electric panel.  Got Electricians On Duty from yelp, and after a few messages back and forth, Raphael asked if he could call and explain a few things.  We spent about 20 minutes on the phone and he explained his perspective on the install and update, giving me a few options and some things to think about.  He was very personable and informative without being pushy.  I ended up talking to a few other places and the quote from Electricians on Duty was very reasonable considering the other quotes I received.  Scheduling was simple, and he showed up right on time with his team.  They said it would take a full day, and it did, but I was very happy with the result.  They installed a new, larger panel, an electric car load-management device, and the car charger.  They repaired the drywall that they had to cut and the conduit is clean and sturdy.  He re-explained all the work they did, re-labeled the new panel with all the previous information and warranties his work for 5 years.  I would use him again and would highly recommend him and his team.

The gentleman that helped me, Kfir, was professional and did an outstanding job on helping me with a faulty electrical socket in my garage. The the high marks in the yelp review drove me to use them, and I highly recommend now. Will use use them again (will request Kfir, but I'd say he represents a company culture).

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

I contacted JH Handyman, they responded within a few minutes. Dispatched handyman to my house in about 30 mins after the call. Two people came, inspected the issue thoroughly and gave their professional recommendations. Really appreciate the prompt response and all the professional services.

I started off inquiring about their with the following message highlighting it is a ceiling AC system:

My condo has a in-ceiling heating/AC system.  When the AC is on, there is a slight dripping of water, which I suspect is coming from the area of evaporator.  Please let me know if you can help inspect it.

I then was told they could help and asked me to call the office.  On the phone, I mentioned that I have a ceiling system and I have a number of photos that I can send them to help the technician pre-inspect the issue before they come over.  I was told they they don't need photos.  The technicians are very experienced.  

The the technician showed up and immediately told us they don't service these units with systems in the ceiling.  

With COVID, wouldn't it be nice if we don't need this type of physical appointment if the other side would have just listened briefly what I said before the appointment. Not to mention the time and money lost associated with this no-op appointment.
