I've used Albert for an electrical panel upgrade in the past. He is very clear about the scope of the project, explains his work thoroughly and does an amazing job.

I was in a jam because my previous electrician (another highly rated one on Yelp) didn't finish the job and was gonna make me wait for another week. I messaged Mike here, and he was very responsive and scheduled me for the next day (on a Saturday no less). He installed new junction boxes and new kitchen island pendants for me in less than 1.5 hours. He and his team were on time, professional, listened to what I wanted, and just generally chill. Don't bother with anyone else, I would reach out DV Electric first and get things done quick. 5 stars all around.

EDIT (Oct 2021): 3rd time now I've called Mike and he continues to be incredibly fast, reliable, and trustworthy. Called him out after our 240v dryer outlet died. We thought at first the dryer broke, so we wasted 2 months with an appliance tech who replaced a bunch of parts in the dryer but who never thought to check the outlet.  Mike came out on a Saturday within 2 hours of our call, discovered the problem with the outlet, fixed it in 30 mins.  Lesson--- the top 1% of contractors are miles better than the competition. Mike and DV Electric deserve 100% of our business, and more.

Mike is prompt in his responses and he's incredibly down to earth and professional in his work. He had installed the Tesla Gen-3 charger in our garage with the utmost care, and spotless work. I'd be happy to work with him again in the future!

I found my go-to electrician. I highly recommend JCM Electric. James (the electrician) is the man! 

I contacted several electricians in the area for EV charging (Nema 14-50 outlet) installation. One electrician was booked until the next month. He didn't even seem interested in answering my questions. I'm assume he does fairly well with his bigger projects & commercial clients and probably consider my needs to not be worth his time. : /

However, JMC Electric responded quickly and offered me a very fair quote (actually significantly lower than the other electricians). James and his assistant came out the very next day! 

James was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all the questions I had. He completed the work in less than 2 hours. 

I am surprised JMC only has a handful of reviews. This guy should have 200+ 5 stars. I will recommend James & JMC to all of my friends & family.

Richard and his assistant Jorge removed two burnt out flourescent units in my mother-in-laws kitchen and replaced it with one two tube LED unit that I purchased at Home Depot. Acero Electric does an excellent professional job and cleaned up afterwards.  The price was very reasonable and they even disposed of the old unit.  Very nice folks and Richard will even tell you a joke or two if you ask.  I'm always in the mood for a laugh.

Very positive experience. Good price, professional installation. I'm new to home charger, but my installation process was painless.

I had the privilege of Meigs, Alex, and Amberly working on my newly-purchased house for several days. I spent somewhere in the $11~12k range on their services, but I never ever felt that I was being robbed or cheated. Meigs was transparent about everything he was doing to a fault. Honestly, if you wanted to just babysit him while he was working, he'd tell you exactly what he's doin' the whole time, by which point you'd become an electrician merely by osmosis.

All of them are very thorough, and I can attest to their pride as craftmen. Of particular noteworthiness was towards the end of their work, I simply didn't want to get anymore work done; the work they were doing was going far over the budget I had initially anticipated, largely because my house had so many illegal splices and poor handiwork all over the place  (Granted, those were in the disclosure document when I bought the house, so perhaps I should have anticipated it a little more). When I told Meigs to just leave the rest of it, as I already had spent the amount you see written above, he took it upon himself to fix up several other things completely free, both because him and Alex are perfectionists, and also because it seemed he didn't want me to perish in a fire. That's essentially an entire day of work that they did and I didn't spend anything for it; they could have left right there.

The following day when they didn't show up, it was odd - it's like my roommates all of a sudden stopped coming home. I miss the hilarious banter and overall great, friendly attitudes.

If I have another problem that requires an electrician, I'll most certainly be calling up Meigs and his crew. Thanks guys.

The BEST ELECTRICIAN EVER!!!

We had an electrical fire in our house last night in our dining area. The FD came out and made sure everything was safe. I emailed Ted at 12:30am and he responded so quickly. I called him around 9am this morning and he was at our house by 10:30am. Found out later that he worked us in while doing another job, talk about AMAZING service! We also needed someone to repair drywall for us and I happen to ask Ted to see if he knew anyone and he was able to work another miracle for us and his amazing guy Lee from Specialty Textures (which I will also be doing a review for) was able to come out today and patch up everything! It looks as if nothing ever happened. I can't thank Ted enough for coming out to us as quickly as he did. Everyone else told me they were too busy until January 2018. Now we are able to have our Christmas party with our family tomorrow as scheduled all because of Ted.

Thank you again so very much Ted. You truly are our angel!

I just completed two projects with Alley Electric, and I can't say enough good things about them. The first project was a small one, installing a nest doorbell and swapping a duplex outlet to a quad. Jordan came out, mask on, gave a quote, and was able to schedule the work for later that week. Jordan and Chris came back showed up on time, got the job done, in and out within an hour or two, no mess, no fuss.

The second project was a larger one, where we installed 10 recessed lights, 6 in our living room, 4 in our bedroom. Scheduling this job was a little more tricky since it would require them to be here for about 6 hours, but again, Jordan and Chris arrived on time, and got the job done. One thing to note, and they do mention this on their quote, as well as in person, that they will likely need to cut holes, and they do not do drywall patchwork. You'll need to get someone else to handle that, but thankfully Wes was able to provide us with a great recommendation.

I'm glad that I found Raphael to fix an emergency electrical problem. I called Raphael for help with a burning smell on an electrical outlet. He provided a reasonable quote and came in on the same day. I initially pointed him to an outlet with no fault; he meticulously investigated the issue and quickly identify the root cause and proposed a solution that has minimal damage to our property and low cost. I highly recommend Raphael to anyone looking for electricians.

Araz installed a brand new 200A electrical panel for me. They did quick work with excellent craftsmanship, and Max is a really nice guy. Would definitely use them again.

These guys are GREAT!!! We recently bought an older house in the Bay and they did a full list of work including:
- 200amp panel upgrade
- Sub panel upgrade
- Ground system installation
- Tesla wall charger install
- And a whole list of internal upgrades including lights, fans, outlets and switches.

There prices were super fair and reasonable and even gave better pricing for bulk work. They showed up on time and got everything done in a clean and professional manner. I don't often write reviews but enjoyed working with them so much I felt I should. I can't stress this enough, Omri and his team did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!! After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Had several scopes of work that Jamil helped with, started with 2 and grew to 4 projects inside and outside the house (subfloor install, raised header for door, patched wall, repaired exterior fence that was damaged) and all were completed timely. Jamil and his crew are punctual, clean and very respectful of the house.

Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Power went out in the garage, furnace, and 1 of the rooms in the house on Saturday night.  Technician, Carlos Morales, came on Sunday and Monday to fix the problem.  He was polite and very informative.  He even gave me advice on a future project for my house.  I plan on using this company for everything going forward.
