I called for a quote and made an appointment. They were prompt and asked all the right questions and then some. I installed 6 fans in my home, but what I wanted was beyond my capabilities.
Hormoz and his associate arrived as scheduled. They prepped the area for debris and installed my light fixture in one room, and a fan in my patio.
They were very thorough in their work and in their clean up.
I will not hesitate to recommend this company to everyone I know in need of their services.

I called four electricians for estimates to upgrade our service panel from 100 to a 200 amp panel.  Albert was the only one who came to give me an on site estimate.  The others gave me a verbal estimate over the phone.

I told all the companies I called my city's building dept. to ask the amount of the permit ($118) and would pull the permit myself.  One company employee argued with me that it would cost more than that.  I did not select that company.  My reasoning is if I start off disagreeing with the company initially, what would happen during the rest of the project?

Albert clearly explained the work he planned to do, the brand he would be using, and gave me a timeline.  Albert coordinated with PG&E and arranged a smooth transition to disconnect and reconnect my upgraded service panel.

Because of the way my old house was originally wired, PG&E required a junction box for the old wiring before being connected to the new service panel.  Albert gave me a choice between a metal (more expensive) or plastic junction box (less expensive).  Both are approved by current electrical code standards.  I chose the plastic box.

The City inspector passed Albert's installation on his first inspection.

Albert was communicative and did not try to upsell me other services.  In fact, because of a time line deadline, I considered using Albert's stucco person but Albert knew I was handy and told me I was capable of doing it myself.  I felt that Albert is honest, ethical,  and reliable.  His estimate was reasonable.

I plan to have Albert upgrade my sub panel in our garage next year.  Highly recommended.

Our old house needed rewiring but we had limited budget.
Nhan stopped by, listened to our needs, discussed with Mike and we quickly converged on what's essential for our budget.
Then the team started on a Saturday.
During the work, a lot of challenges from previous owners' amateur arrangement were discovered. The team were able to complete the job to modern standard without breaking the old structure.
They even helped to enforce the structure around new outlets so the finished work is to the code from all aspects.
On budget, on schedule and reliable work for modern living. And cleaned up afterwards. Definitely will call Mike again for our next project.

I first had Mike over to remove an ugly chandelier that came with the house and replace with recessed lighting.  I had no idea what pattern to drill the lights in but Mike was patient with me and gave me his suggestion, as well as backups in case I didn't like his #1 pick (I went with his first suggestion and the lighting is perfect in my house).  Mike was the only electrician that told me that we need to get the lights with higher lumens because of my high ceilings.  Mike proved to me that he knew his stuff.  Oh, and he charged less than the other guys.

Then I had him over to replace all the ugly light fixtures in the house, change out all the light switches, install an electric car charger in the garage, mount a chandelier from the 20 foot ceiling, and add a few GFI and regular outlets in various places around the house.  After countless hours and thousands of dollars, I can confidently say that Mike is the best.  He has a great personality and is super reasonable (lower than the rest).

He is awesome.  Cleans up after himself.  Beautiful work.  Can't recommend enough.

JCM Electric responded quickly and were able to come out to my house on the same day. They fixed the problem in less than an hour and made future recommendations as well! Very knowledgeable and highly recommended!

Yesterday morning, I had a small issue in circuit breaker for garage and kitchen for the house that I bought but not yet am familiar with. My real estate agent gave me Rich's contact. I left a voice mail in the afternoon. Rich came by around 6pm and took care of the problem. What a speed! Thanks and appreciate it.

We had Dmitry to install a new Tesla wall charger in our house, and he provided us with great service! He s very knowledgeable and responsible, the crew showed up on time for the installation and the work was clean and quick.

I called them around appointment time to find out they're not showing up and didn't bother  contacting me.  Only then he asked to reschedule.

The person who came to our home, Andrew, was professional, quick, and had great attitude. Communication with the business was great. Able to get a light switch timer replaced at a very reasonable price. Appreciate them to be able to squeeze us in last minute, especially after all the recent crazy storms.

Mickey saves me again. I had an existing NEMA 14-50 outlet (was installed by another company) melt while charging my car using the mobile charger. Mickey discussed options with me and ultimately I decided to go with a Tesla Wall Connector. He came out today and finished the job cleanly/quickly. Great service, great prices, and super cool guy. Thanks again Mickey!

I signed up into Yelp just to write this review. I have rarely been so surprised as I was on the day the Hewlett Electric guy showed up. He clearly stated the cost and the discount I would get, got my approval to go ahead and started checking the breaker box. Within 5 mins he said the fault was with PG&E and I should call them. And this is where the shocker came - he refused to charge me anything as the electrical fault could not be fixed by him. He advised me on how I should state my request to PG&E to get a prompt response and I did as he suggested. Surprise no. 2, ten mins later the PG&E truck shows up. The power gets fixed (Phase B was down). The Hewlett guys shows up at the same time to make sure things are ok. And I did not spend a buck (to my embarrassment)!
Well, the Hewlett Electric guys are on the top of our list on who to call ...

Chris solved a problem that even PGE could not resolve. He came quickly and was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable.

Honest business.  Wesley came to give us an estimation within 24 hours.  And I had a very good feeling on the way they communicate so I didn't bother getting any more bids.  The price is very fair.  

They were able to perform the job one week after, they are puncture and professional.  They also helped me hook up the electronics free of charge, they are heavy.

Would do business with them again if there were chances, and would recommend them to anyone.

Raphael was awesome - responded right away, came in quickly and diagnosed a small but complex problem and communicated his thinking and approach clearly as he worked on it (started right away). Reasonable fee as well. Would definitely recommend him.

I see all the great reviews about Araz and Elvin. but  Elvin came to my home more than  a week ago. Looked at needed repairs and said , i will give u an estimate in a few days. Never heard from him. I think that is bad business. Going on 2 weeks. At least a call back or explanation as to what problem is. would suffice.

we had an issue with parts of our house losing power and tripping the circuit breaker. Technician Omri responded in very short time and was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He  offered a temporary fix free of charge and made us a recommendation for how to proceed for a permanent resolution. A+ Service.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.
