I found Voltz Electric on Yelp and had a great experience with them this morning. They absolutely deserve all of the 5-star reviews that they've received.
Long story short: I needed an electrician ASAP after I lost power to most of my kitchen appliances. Resetting the breaker didn't solve the problem, so I put in calls to the top 4 electricians on Yelp.
Here's why I'm glad I went with Voltz:
1) They're responsive.
Matt, the owner of Voltz, was one of the first to return my call. He was really helpful and immediately suggested a few quick things to check to help him narrow down the problem and assess the potential scope of work. Then he provided a clear estimate and booked an appointment for me within 24 hours of my call.
2) They're professional.
The team that Matt sent (Jordan and an assistant) was great. They showed up on time and were courteous, knowledgeable, and methodical in diagnosing the problem.
3) They're honest and reasonably priced.
I especially appreciated their honesty in explaining required vs. recommended work. Admittedly, I don't know the first thing about electrical work, so I easily could've been duped into an expensive and/or unnecessary fix. Fortunately, that wasn't the case, and they got me back up & running in a hour, which came in at the low end of the estimate that Matt had provided.
I'm very happy with my experience and will definitely call Matt & team first when I need help with future electrical work.

Jason and Danielle are amazing. Great communication and very practical in their recommendations. Jason even gave me some tips as to how to DIY some of the non-electrical stuff I was planning which helped me save a bunch of money. He also was meticulous in hiding the wires and doing a neat job. Highly recommend them and I think it was a fair price for the large number of work items I had. He even helped with some unplanned items which was great.

We just had Willow Glen Electric put in 10 LED recessed light fixtures. What a wonderful experience from the very start of this small project to the end! They were quick in getting me a quote and scheduling my appointment. The work was exceptional and quick, even after a few minor issues they encountered in our attic. Instead of this project increasing in price as often home project do, Willow Glen Electric lowered the end cost when realizing we didn't need so many fixtures. Thank you so very much!!!!! We love our new lights and will be recommending you to friends.

Minh and his partner were professional and quick to respond to my quote request. I really appreciated that they took the time to message me even before service. They not only wear masks but also bring cloth to cover the floors and a mini vac to clean up. The pendant lights took 1.5 hours to install. Minh was also able to squeeze me in for a last minute 1 hour appointment to install two more flush mounts. I'm happy with the service and the lights and would recommend this business. Thank you!!

Julio is amazing. We had a minor electric issue which needed to be fixed quickly, beside some less time sensitive electrical projects. He was the only one who was able and willing to get us on his schedule.
We worked with electricians before, but Julio did an outstanding job. He and his team worked fast, clean and thoroughly.
We are very happy with his work and can only recommend hiring Julio. We definitely will work with him again.

Roger was very quick in installing recessed lights for my 2-bed condo. He performed a very clean job with no unnecessary holes or cuts. He had a very reasonable rate for the professional work. I am glad I found him on Yelp!! He definitely deserves a five star.

Duke Electric installed a new electric panel and mounted a TV over the fireplace in our home. Duke was great at explaining the scope and different options for each project. He was much more detailed in the plan than other electricians we received quotes from. He quoted a competitive price for the work which included all of the work including patching the drywall and stucco. Duke and his crew completed the projects in one day and did an excellent job. We have textured dry wall and stucco and Duke's team did an amazing job of matching the existing texture. Duke returned after the stucco and paint had dried to reinstall a rain gutter that had been removed for the project. I highly recommend Duke Electric.

I have hired Henry and Doug for small lighting installations to large new construction wiring to rewiring a fifty-year-old rental home. They have become my go-to resource because they deliver prompt, high-quality work, and are friendly, professional, avid planners/communicators/project managers ... and domain experts. They connect all the dots, and the city/county inspection resources, to get the job done in the shortest amount of time with zero gotchas. If you need electrical work done for your home or business ... Look to CPL!

I like to think I understand electricity reasonably well. It's like water, there's a source and a sink, and it follows pretty consistent rules. But unlike water, it can really, really hurt.
So when everything I knew about electricity couldn't help me make *any* sense of why I lost half -- but only half -- of the electricity in my house after a light bulb went *bang*, I said to myself, Self, let's not get hurt. Off to Yelp I went, and found these great reviews for Adary Electric.
I called them before business hours and left a voicemail, despite the fact that they included a panic pager number in their voicemail message, because my house wasn't burning down or anything. I just hoped to get into the morning queue.
Nadav called back first thing in the same day, and came out an hour later. Despite the leads I attempted to provide to the subpanel where I thought the problem was, he politely followed his own diagnostic procedure, methodically starting with the mains and working his way in.
Less than an hour later, he had (1) pinpointed the problem that my light bulb's ceiling fixture was itself shorting the circuit, which was (2) not tripping the breaker for that circuit but nonetheless was (3) tripping only *one* of the two breakers that fed the subpanel. He removed the ceiling fixture for us, capped the wires, and reset breakers as necessary. Voila, we were back in service. And he only charged for a nominal amount of labor, despite the fact that he returned half my house's power to life.
During the diagnosis, he also suggested upgrades to the mains to bring it up from 60A to 100A. Two days later, I already have a quote for that upgrade. He was willing to email it, but I botched my side of that, and he was happy to fax it instead.
He even unwrapped fresh booties to placate the no shoes rule in our house.
Darn straight I'm giving him 5 stars.

Electrica provided excellent service. Nick came on a Sunday and installed everything (240V NEMA 14-50 outlet) quickly and cleaned up after (I've had contractors who left me with a huge mess to clean up afterwards).
I definitely plan to use them again for future electrical needs.

Don't feed these monsters! Electric Heroes came out to fix a wire for us, but as it turned out, it was a wire that was old and that we decided to just discard it. So the guy didn't do any work and just left. Illiana, (the gal on the phone) Told me that the service fee was $239, but that it would be waived and I would only be charged the amount that it cost to do the repair. This was a lie.
They still charged us $110.00 FOR NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! Wow. That's called not being a good human in my book.

Dan came out the same day that we called, was able to give us a best guess estimate over the phone. Was super knowledgeable, able to figure out and fix the problem pretty quickly. His estimate was right on, and he took all types of payment.

Jim was awesome! Came right on time. Identified the problem with my broken kitchen light. Had it working again in under an hour. And on a Sunday!

I'm a true DIY homeowner, however, I do know my limitations. One of the jobs is electrical installation. That being said, I bought a new milling machine and air compressor that needed 220 installed in my garage. I found Edwin on yelp and gave him a call to come out and give me a bid. Edwin came to my house right away and checked out what I needed. My wife also had some lights and the plug that she wanted installed. Edwin is a fantastic electrician! He is very knowledgeable, personable, actionable and very detail oriented. While he was up in my attic running some wires he noticed that someone had left a bare hot wire exposed. He took care of that at no charge protecting me and my family from a possible attic fire. What an awesome Guy. Not only did he fix the error, he noticed that my machine in my garage didn't have adequate light so he suggested installing LED lights above my work station. So he came back the next day with all the equipment needed to install LED and had the job completed in no time at all. He is a very reasonable Electrician with regards to price. One more thing, when he was in my boys room installing the plug, he noticed one of the baseboards was loose. He came up to me and asked if I would mind if he took his power nail gun and fasten the baseboard. Edwin goes above the job. I have been looking for a good electrician for about a year. Now I'm happy to say that I have my electrician and his name is Edwin! I would highly recommend Edwin to all my family and friends. Furthermore, I will be calling Edwin back to wire my wife's new she shed. Thank you Edwin for all your good work!

David came to my house within an hour of when I called him. He and his assistant worked on the problem I had and trouble shot it. They fixed the problem, and their price was fair. I am a happy camper.

I understand why Fuse has so many 5-star reviews. I was lucky to have Kostas troubleshoot my furnace, which wouldn't ignite. He is truly a master at his trade. I was impressed at how he methodically eliminated potential causes to the issue until he got to root cause.
Another company had just come and gave me a wrong diagnosis the day before that would have cost me $2k+ to implement and still wouldn't have fixed the problem. Kostas efficiently diagnosed the part that was failing, like a true professional. If you can't tell by now, I highly recommend Fuse and their competent technicians!

I contacted Caio to help me install a 240v outlet and a Chargepoint Homeflex Charger. We scheduled a virtual call for estimate and talked through various options. My situation was tricky because I was out of spots on the subpanel and the other estimates I received required a whole panel upgrade or installation of another subpanel. He was open and honest with what worked and what was recommended with Safety in mind. Ultimately, came up with solution that was both efficient and cost effective. After figuring out the best option, he gave me a very fair price and scheduled an appointment for the install. On the day of, he was right on time and finished the job in just a couple hours with high quality. He also cleaned up and made sure all the labels were correct and everything was working properly. On top of all this, Caio was very personable, easy to speak with and a stand up guy! Great experience working with Caio and will definitely call him again for all my electrical needs. Highly recommend him.

I recently had Dang Electrical install some pot lights in my office and fix the garbage disposal in my kitchen. I was really impressed with Dang's professionalism and attention to detail. He arrived on time and completed the electrical work efficiently and at a fair price. Throughout the process, he kept everything clean and tidy. Thanks to Dang's expertise, the pot lights look great and the garbage disposal is running smoothly. If you need electrical work done, I would recommend considering Dang Electrical for his reliable service.
