Best Garbage Disposal Installation in Chicago IL

Pat and his helper recently came by to fix our kitchen sink and toilet. The sink has been backing up for a while and our original thought was to use draino and an inexpensive plumber to fix it. Well you get what you pay for because the last plumber ended up fixing nothing. In fact, Pat noticed that they had put in some pipe pieces in backwards! Unfortunately for us, our problem was a plastic bag that was in our pipes years before we moved in. When it came to the bathroom Pat not only fixed the problem but gave us his honest feedback on purchasing a new toiled which we've been avoiding. Overall we're very satisfied with Pat's work and service. Finding a moderately priced plumber in the city is hard to find-- we'll definitely be using Drain-EEZ again.

Had a phenomenal experience working with Francisco today. I was in a same-day time crunch and he was able to get out to my home quickly and went above and beyond answering all of my questions.

Before he left, he also took time to address several of my plumbing questions/concerns that were unrelated to the task at hand and give me helpful suggestions.

I will recommend Rescue Plumbing services and highly recommend asking for Francisco!

Appt. scheduled between 1 and 2pm.  Arrived at 12:45 and completed the job in 20 minutes. No mess, no fuss and tech even helped with a running toilet!  Could not be happier with service!!  Highly recommend.

Jesus' service was quick and affordable. I was replacing my gas dryer and was told that my gas pipe need a valve. I was looking a master plumber on Yelp and found J Sewer & Drain Plumbing. Jesus was on time and got the job done quick. Happy with the service and was able to finally got my dryer installed.

Great Company!! My in-laws (who are senior citizens), had a toilet that backed up and called another company to come out and fix the problem.
They attempted to rot out the line but said it was too clogged and that they would have to sign a contract to have them come back the next day to do some other procedure??? (Day 1 was over $500 and day 2 was going to be $1600!) It gets better...They proceed to tell my father-in-law that if the second procedure doesn't work, they'll need to dig up the lawn.
(I can only imagine how much they would have charged for that!)
I told my wife to let me check Yelp before they proceed with these crooks.
I saw the great reviews for Green Tech Plumbing and decided to give Kevin a call.  He had a Representative out to their home within a few hours.  He rotted out the line and charged a very reasonable price. Problem solved! Thank you for the great, honest service.  I really appreciate you taking care of my In-Laws and I know if I ever need any plumbing work done, you'll be the first one I call!

I have to give a detailed review because my experience was absolutely amazing. If you don't want to read the full review but want to know a short version: I HIGHLY recommend MHJSS, not just recommend but HIGHLY!

ok, so here is the fine print:
I've been smelling a sewage smell on my 1st floor, coming from my bathroom for the last few years. It comes and goes and when it goes it leaves long enough for me to forget about it. Just recently it came back and is stronger than ever, so much so that I can smell it moving throughout my home. I have a family plumber I've been using since the '90s and I'm big on small business so as usual I called and got my home rodded. Since purchasing my home in 2014 I get an annual rodding done since I can't watch what my company and children flush down the drain.

Wanting to get a 2nd opinion I googled and came up with Mr. Rooter, sent a message on their website, and set up a date and time for them to come to consult. I took off work since they told me it was a window from 12-3 pm. To make a long story short, I work overnight and was asleep when they called me at 8 am the day of to tell me they would arrive at 12. Since I missed the called they canceled my appointment. I was upset when I woke up at 11 am to get this voicemail. I took to google again, I had no patience nor desire to deal with this (Plus they told me since I lived on the south side I needed to pay $90 extra for the plumber to come south).

Google lead me to MHJSS. I read reviews and called. I can't remember who I spoke with but the guy was professional and gave me confidence that I'd found the right company.

About an hour later, Danny called me to say he was on his way. (Quick appointment, same day, no BS). He arrived on time with his partner Jose. They asked the perfect questions and before I could explain everything, they knew what needed to be done and starting accessing. Danny took his time and explained EVERYTHING so that I could understand all about my plumbing issues. He showed me things I didn't expect to see since my family plumber does frequent work at my home. I was able to get a Hydro Jetting and he immediately told me why we could smell the sewage in the house.

Being a novice to this entire industry, Danny and Jose made sure I knew what was going on, why, and how it can be fixed. They took their time, did things correctly, cleaned up behind themselves, and did so in a professional and safe manner. They worked great as a team and even better as plumbers. I felt like I'd know them personally before today since they were so personable. I wasn't rushed, I wasn't pitched a sales pitch, and I was comfortable with them in my home.

Bigger name companies need to take notes from these guys. I hope nothing about their process changes because from now on I will be using MHJSS for all my plumbing needs and will continue to refer them to everyone I know, as a matter of fact, my neighbor will be using them soon for his multiunit apartment building (I gave him MHJSS phone number, LOL).

Borderline scam company, interested in selling high priced services not fixing customer's problems.
Paid $425 for a service call they could not resolve. They tried the $1500 upsale for jetting service which was not required.
The next day I called Willies Drain cleaners who properly worked the tree root issue and pulled 6 clumps of roots out of the drain.
Fixed the problem Captain Rooter wouldn't and for $225.00.
Beware!! Not a good service. I gave one star since ZERO is not available.
Use a regular drain cleaning service before ever calling this bad company.

Daryl is an expert in his craft.  We needed a dishwasher removed, a new dishwasher installed, and a garbage disposal installed.

No joke, within an hour of first talking to Daryl on the phone, he was in our home inspecting what type of work would be needed....on a Saturday!  Daryl happened to be in our area eating lunch and took time away from his family to inspect our situation.

Daryl provided clear and concise information regarding the type of work needed and how it should be done.

Fast forward to Monday morning.  Work was underway at 8am sharp.  So, a little less than 48 hours after my initial call he's in our kitchen working.

Here's how Daryl helped us:
-Was able to remove old dishwasher without needing to cut into floor
-Clean re-wiring of dishwasher connections
-Clean re-arranging of plumbing to accommodate garbage disposal and improve efficiency
-Added outlets and switches for easy use of dishwasher and disposal

Daryl even installed a light fixture for us free of charge when we asked his advice about it, and installed a dimmer.

Great guy, great work, do yourself a favor and put Sims and Sons on speed dial.  Honest appraisals and fair prices.  Couldn't be more impressed with this company.

We will be using for all future plumbing and electrical needs.

We had our injector pump in the basement fail, which caused sewage to leak all over the finished and unfinshed parts of the basement.  Dmitry and his crew came super fast, identified the problems quickly, and provided accurate estimates for all repairs before executing the work.  They also provided a great recommendation for a rehabilitation and repair company.  They were fast, honest, and knowledgable.  I am a customer for life.

They also wore masks and were very good about taking proper COVID precautions so there was no problem in letting them inside the house for them to do their work.

Spoke with Mike over the phone and he gave me some DIY advice on some of the trouble I had with my old faucet. Though, I didn't feel comfortable changing the faucet myself as the pipes I had were old, I decided to have him come over and do it. During the process, I was able to watch and he answered all the questions I had about what he was doing and he answered all the general plumbing questions I had. I would highly recommend him as he's very knowledgable and patient.

About 1 week  ago my water heater broke ... I called several plumbers and they were the only ones to respond right away and come out same to replace the water heater.  Most other companies told me it would be a few days.  Plus their rate was definitely reasonable.  I would recommend, refer, and use again if need be.

Noel returned my call promptly and was able to change his schedule to come out to my house the next day to repair a bursted pipe.  I had discovered it when I turned on my garden hose for the first time at the start of summer.  He gave me a fair quote and clearly explained what he was going to do and how long it would take.  He also explained how to avoid the problem in the future.  Overall he provided professional, reliable and honest service which I will reuse again if needed for any plumbing needs.

I needed a plumber again on short notice and Noel came through fantastically.  He recognized my number from my text message and made me a priority as a returning customer.  Great service and fair price!

We had a reoccurring issue with sewage leaking from our drain stack onto the sidewalk near our house. Previously, two different plumbers worked on the problem--the first at a very hefty sum. Jeff of Apex, came out to give us estimate. After thoroughly inspecting the problem, answering my numerous questions and giving me a logical explanation of the problem--I decided Jeff was the guy for the job! He located the root of the problem to a drain pipe in the basement. He rodded it and replaced its outdated seal. I really must highlight my appreciation for Jeff's patience in answering my questions, and educating me about the problem while maintaining his professionalism. If necessary, I'll definitely use Apex again!

We recently had a serious clog in our shower drain. Everyone I contacted said it would take a day or two before they could come out, everyone except Jan at Vanguard Plumbing. He was my hero! I called mid afternoon that day. He was at our place by 5. It would have been earlier if not for all the traffic from the Cubs game and and trying to find parking in our neighborhood.

Vanguard resolved the problem and they were very professional and courteous. I am grateful to have found them on Yelp and will definitely get in touch with them first for any plumbing issue we might have in the future.

We had a sewage back up on Christmas. Victor was SO nice and helpful and fast. He quickly responded to my message and he moved his schedule to help us sooner. We will never use another company.

He even cleaned up the mess in our basement. I mean, come on. This guy is amazing. Fully insured and bonded and lovely. He also told my husband how to help the issue in the future. I am so grateful.

Needed 2 large pictures hung and a frame assembled and installed in a mirror. Was a little anxious about finding someone online without a personal referral and was so grateful to have found fixer.com. Requested/selected appointment for next day... early am which worked best for my schedule, received timely confirmation and request for some additional info so I texted over a few photos and descriptions of the project and was notified about who would be doing the work. Ian showed up on time, and quickly completed the work with quality and was simply a super pleasant guy. Great experience. Will be recommending fixer to everyone I know, and if I have additional handyman work to be done in the future I know exactly who to contact. Thank you!!!
