Best Toilet Installation in Chicago IL

Asked for a quote both through Yelp and direct email.  Never had a reply.  My issue may not be solvable but at least I should have received a response saying that.  Instead, silence.

Had originally booked my usual service to clear a clogged /backed up drain. Though when the time window came along I got a prompt call asking if they could reschedule to the following day. That too after waiting most of the day. (Unfortunate events occurred and they were stuck on other calls.) I needed this drain cleared pronto and could not wait any longer. So, I leaned on a referral a friend passed along and called Rescue.

From the time I placed the call to the time they were on my property, the rescue operation went quick and they were in and out in no time. I was surprised at how quickly my service window was offered and the time they made it on site. Note, the repair happened a couple weeks back during lockdown. I was assured that their staff would have ppe on when dealing with the public.

The work: A clogged kitchen sink on the first floor of an apartment building. In apartment buildings the line is shared (with those above it) and in the event of a clog or backup, that unit will suffer the backup of all (however many) units.

The cost: Affordable.

The next time I've got a plumbing emergency, glad to know another trusted service provider I can call to the Rescue.

I needed to replace a garbage disposal and a couple connecting pipes under my sink in the kitchen.  Great experience with Scott across the board:  high quality, careful and very quick service (e.g., took probably only an hour all-in because Scott was efficient), competitive pricing, great responsiveness and easy communication via texts, flexible scheduling, efficient and accurate estimate with a breakdown of input costs, proper safety precautions during the pandemic (e.g., mask, social distancing), cleanliness (cleaning during and after the project being done).  Scott was a good professional when discussing repair options (e.g., he shared his professional opinion but wasn't pushing a particular solution) and very detail oriented (e.g., Scott even installed the new pipes so that they consume less space under the sink than before).

Highly recommended.  I will reach out to Scott for any plumbing issues going forward.

Rocket did a lot of work in my home and I can't say enough about them. Reasonable rates, fast service and the work was done right. Sam came out and explained everything that needed to be done and even how to improve the existing service. He was very friendly and you could see how much pride he had in his work. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality service. Decent pricing too.

I'm surprised Jose doesn't have more reviews- because he's fantastic.

I had Jose here last week to fix my leaky toilet.  He was able to come within 24 hours of me calling him- and he fixed the toilet in less than a half hour.  Extremely nice- definitely can't go wrong with Jose!

I had a problem with a connection to my dishwasher. I took photos and was told that my connection was not to code . I needed to correct this. They brought two disposals for me select based on my need. The plumbing needed reconfiguring . It was costly but I had no estimates from other sources so I can not evaluate the costs.
The workmen were neat friendly and did the job. They kept me in the loop.

Kevin and his team are fantastic! We have had a couple of leaks corrected and a water heater installed and they are always prompt, courteous, and are very competent at their craft. I can be somewhat neurotic about our house and appreciate that Kevin is willing to help out and give tips to make sure things are maintained correctly and always willing to answer my questions.

I always wait a month to write a review. Well Jesus and his partner came to my place and removed an old under the counter sink in the bathroom. They installed a new on the counter sink, replaced a showerhead. In another bathroom, they replaced a shower head and unclogged a sink. They completed these tasks within a few hours. They do an amazing job and clean after themselves. Highly recommend them

I've had multiple wonderful experiences with Green Tech Plumbing. Kevin is always responsive and extremely knowledgeable. I've had multiple things done at our home. Simple things like Fixing a toilet to re-piping an entire rental unit. His employees are always courteous and on time. Their prices are fair and you can absolutely trust them. Can't go wrong picking Kevin and his team.

Clogged sink and I was so thrilled to see that Danny was still with Midwest.

It was really blocked this time, and probably my fault as I had been trying to clear it with copious amounts of baking soda and vinegar. I think that it hardened in the pipe. (Don't believe everything you see on YouTube.)

Danny was persistent, trying with three different machines and a lot of perseverance until finally it gurgled and drained. Most plumbers would have given up after it didn't immediately work.

He is pleasant to talk with, offers suggestions on how to keep it clear and he gets the job done. A real asset to his company!

Adam and James got sent out to fix a gas leak that nicor found in our pipes.  They were very thorough and professional.  They let us know everything they were doing, why they were doing it and the function of different parts.  Very knowledgeable and really knew what they were doing.  Fantastic job.

I recently purchase a new toilet. Although, I have installed dozens of toilets in my lifetime, I recently met my match, with this new purchase. It was heavier than most other models and the bolt holes are hidden from view.  I called ABV plumbing after several attempts at installing it myself. My level of frustration, prior to calling, was off the charts.

The gentlemen from ABV was able to come out within hours.  He took a look at the toilet and my current plumbing. He then immediately went to work. He was courteous and was vigilant about any covid concerns. He even donned protective shoe covers.

He needed to sweat some copper fittings and add a new valve. This was done in under 10 minutes. He then prepared the toilet for install. His associate came and together they lifted the 118 pound toilet onto the bolts in one shot. I would have been jealous if not for the fact that I was so relieved to see this done so swiftly.

The toilet and surrounding area were then wiped clean. I took 59 minutes from start to finish. This would be impressive for even the simplest toilet installs.

I found ABV by using Yelp. I seriously expected him to say the job was too difficult. I am very happy to say I am wrong.

ABV GETS NOTHING BUT HIGH MARKS FROM ME.

We had CJ plumbing come out to add an additional hose bib and separate all other hose bibs on a designated line. We also had them install a vanity and toilet in our powder room. The work that was done was exceptional, and exactly what we asked for. They were very communicative throughout the whole process and worked with us to come out with a quote that was fair. I would definitely recommend them for any other projects and will be using them again for our plumbing needs. A+ company.

I had a really bad kitchen sink clog that I tried snaking it myself with no luck.  Was referred to Mike, called and left a message, and had a return call within 30 minutes.  Mike juggled his schedule to come by same day and had my problem fixed in short order.  Highly recommend calling Mike when you have a need.

Juan came out because one of the toilets in my home kept running. The water kept running. Juan replaced the fill valve, flapper and supply line. He even looked at the walk in tub/shower drain in the same bathroom. He told me he can fix it and it won't leak he gave me a price. He told me if he can't fix it he there would be no charge. He tried to fix it but he checked and it still leaked after he fixed what he fixed. That was no charge. The toilet he fixed it and I am very satisfied with the work Juan did and the price was very reasonable.

Our plumber was right on time. He had parts with him to avoid having to make a trip to the hardware store and, most importantly, he fixed my problem!

Our outdoor spigot was leaking and I was hoping to get it fixed quickly because our outdoor watering system for plants is attached to it so needed to keep it on during hot season. I called and someone was able to come out the same day (no extra charge to come so quickly). Geoff was our plumber and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was nervous when he said he had to cut a hole in the ceiling but he made a very minimal, clean cut hole and even offered to vacuum up after! He showed me the how to work my new spigot and charged me what I thought was a very fair price... also it was what he quoted to start with which I appreciate. Highly recommend apex and Geoff!

Very expensive! 375 first hour 275 after that! I recommend other people to get quotes from other company's before going with Jan!

It was Saturday and our water heater tank began to leak from the top and bottom.

I scrolled through Yelp and found this business. I gave it a try and called the number. I spoke with Victor and told him my issue.  He gave an estimate and told me he will come out as soon as he was done with his current job.

A little over an hour later texted he was picking up a new water tank and would be on the way. He was professional and kept us updated on the steps he was taking.

He replaced our water tank and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Victor.

I highly recommend anyone to try this service. They are flexible and easy to call. It isn't a contracting service where they hand out odd jobs to random folks. These are employees and their work ethic and practices are key.
