Best Toilet Repair in Seattle WA

I really wish I could give Green Planet a ten-star review.  I am so impressed with the initial conversations (well, e-mails) we had about a toilet problem.

Because I live in a condo, I was concerned about the water running constantly.  They advised me to simply turn off the water flow to the toilet until it could be repaired.

The plumbers arrived precisely on time and were so pleasant, so professional and so kind to my two cats who are absolutely positive the world revolves around them.   I am surprised there was enough room in the bathroom for the 2 Green Planet guys and the two cats who supervised.

The guys gave me two choices: repair or replace the toilet.  Both estimates seemed very reasonably priced.  They fixed the problem and also gave me a quote to replace my kitchen sink which I will do sometime this summer.      

Here's the thing about Green Planet Plumbing; it is so apparent to me that they care about the quality of their work, they care about helping their customers and they care about being professional and kind.  

In our culture, far too many people will take the time to write a bad review, complain about the cost or the time a project took, etc.  Those people forget that the trades' people like Green Planet were out there working in the worst of COVID while most of the world hunkered down.  

I cannot recommend Green Planet Plumbing enough.  They are a quality company with a quality team.

After Hours Services responded within 10 minutes to a request for a quote for replacing a busted garbage disposal and sink hose. Within 20 minutes, Will had an appointment time for me the next day and an estimate for the service. He showed up on time with advance notice, got the job done, and was very friendly with reasonable prices. Everything you can hope for when working with a plumber! I wouldn't hesitate to hire After Hours Services again.

Six years ago, we had him replumb all of the supply lines and main in our 1950's rambler and over the six years, all is still great. I am a hardcore DIY'r and really like his workmanship, top notch. We have referred him to many neighbors and all have had great experiences. He is so good, that we are having him add some upgrades and replace our drain lines.

I was so disappointed in our experience with Schuerman. It all seemed fine until the master bathroom shower was completely done, tiled, grouted, and dry. Then we went in to try out the shower controls and discovered the system had been installed backwards, with the controls moving to the left to control the right-side showerhead and moving to the right to control the left-side showerhead. We were so upset! I called Schuerman and they completely ignored me. My contractor said he would handle it and offered to tear out the whole shower for us, but we figured out a hack to make it workable. At no point did Schuerman ever call me, apologize, offer to make it right, or anything. Personally, I find the true measure of a company to be how they handle things when things go wrong, and this company left me cold. I honestly can't recommend a company that wouldn't at least try and reach out after something like that.

He came over on initial visit, diagnosed the problem, came back 3 days later (when we had someone at home) and knocked out the problem, fixed the issues, and was a pleasure to interact with. Both he and the lady who schedules his time were professional and a real breath of fresh air!!!!

I hired maple valley plumbing and after invoicing simply had some questions. As a property manager I have to make sure my clients are taken care of and I needed clarification. I was told never to call him again and he proceeded to hang up on my and block me. I truly have no idea why and what I did to offend him so badly.

I thought I was hearing water dripping noise in the ceiling, so I called and just got the appointment. He investigated noise and told me it is most likely water hammering noise. He said he could put some holes in the wall and investigate but as long as I do not see the obvious sign of leakage, it is not likely that there exists a water leakage. At the end, he told me that he won't charge me anything, so I offered a tip but he did not take it either. I have not had any experience with plumbers before, but I think I can trust these people.

Very happy with experience.  I started calling services Friday afternoon and he was the first able to come to our aid [Saturday, first thing].  Honored his phone estimate, cost reasonable.  We have a drain that needs professional servicing every 3-5 years; he did a much better job than the other services.  AND, he recommended prevention [liquid enzymes] to prolong time before next need.  Will use again, if I need service.

These guys were recommended to me by our inspector RW West. I was very disappointed with their service, and this is something I have fed back to our inspector.

Elvis and the other guy (Asian guy with blue contacts, maybe Tim?) came out to our house and basically refused to do anything related to the actual problem I called them out for, without first getting paid. I called them for the simple issue of installing a p-trap in a shower that had recently been renovated. The work was to be done in the crawlspace. Every other plumber that came out went into the crawlspace and looked at the actual issue and gave me a bid. Not these guys. They basically gave me a worst case scenario of what could happen and what probably needed to be done without actually knowing anything about my specific problem. They loved to talk but didn't listen. They had nothing but contempt for the work of the previous contractor and basically spoke as if they were the only two real plumbers and everyone else was a hack. I asked him if he would like to actually go down to the crawlspace before making a judgment on how difficult this task would be.

His exact words We don't go down to the crawlspace for free. That'll be $150. And then suggested that I do his job for him and go down there and send him a video.

He took my email and said he would give me a quote but never ended up contacting me or returning any of my calls or voicemails.

I'm not sure why they even bothered coming out if they were going to do nothing. It was a waste of both my time and theirs.

Avoid these guys unless you like your contractors to be arrogant and dismissive.

Last night (after 9PM), I emailed 7 North Seattle plumbers to get a quote for hydro jetting my sewer line.  My toilets were backing up and shower wouldn't drain-and I suspected it was due to a root ball in the main sewer line because we'd had the issue two years previous, and root balls grow back.  At 7AM, I got a call from Don of Action Jackson, and he quoted me a price for Hydro jetting, and said he could be here Right Away.  I told him that I had requested price quotes from multiple plumbers, and asked him if he thought his price would be competitive.  He said he thought he was the most reasonably priced hydro jetter, and with my toilets unable to flush, I didn't care to wait for additional price quotes.  If I hear back from the other plumbers and their prices are lower-I will post back here.  

NOTE: Mike's Plumbing called at 9AM, and quoted the same price as Action Jackson.

When he said Right Away, he meant it.  Don and Tony arrived 15 minutes later, and I told them that the tub and toilets were holding water.  To avoid spilling sewage in my garage or lawn clean-outs, he decided to go through the roof vent.  Both Don and Tony were professional, courteous, and very fast.  Tony was quite literally running at a few points to wind and unwind hoses as Don worked on the roof.  They were very willing to explain every part of the process, and showed me live video of the root ball in my main line.  Within 20 minutes, the root ball was cleared and the toilets we flushing, but my tub still wouldn't drain.  They came inside the house (Don insisted on removing his shoes-though I told him it was unnecessary) and snaked the shower drain too.  It's now draining faster than it has in years.

I didn't actually know that Don was the owner of the company until the end of our visit, when I was giving him my payment information. Throughout the process, I had noticed how Don interacted with Tony, saying Thank you, Sir! and Good Job! frequently.  I was impressed by this.  Later, when I learned that Don is the owner of the company, I was more impressed.  To me, showing respect and care for your employees speaks volumes about the quality of your business.   I asked him how many trucks he had, and he said Started 5 years ago with one, and now we have 6!.  I'm not surprised.

Layne plumbing solved a potentially catastrophic plumbing issue the day before we had an open house. We were quoted $5000+ by the Big Named plumbing companies in the area, and the job would have to come after the all important open house. Layne plumbing was able to diagnose,and solve the issue that same day at a fraction of the cost. They were Polite, courteous, respectful, prompt, professional, and worked extremely clean.
They honored their price quote,were done ahead of schedule, and payment was easy. (They take cash, check or credit)
Although you hope that you never need a plumber, when you do, I highly recommend calling Layne plumbing. They are who I'll call the next time I need plumbing help!

The owners; Zach and Beau are the best. They get it about customer service and fair pricing. In 2018 they came out, diagnosed the problem and installed a pressure valve. Had several quotes and Price Busters was the the most reasonable. Last week I had another plumbing problem and of course I called them immediately. Zach and Mike,(new to the team) was awesome. Diagnosed the problem, came back with a part and fixed it that day. Again, reasonably priced, professional and appreciative of my business. And, they clean up after themselves.  I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Joes plumbing is ok, they did a small project in my old townhouse down the road.. My faucet was leaking, so they changed it pretty quick, however the guy came pretty late and was kinda tired i guess. Anyway they did the job well done and quick so i will recommend them to my neighbors as well

I clogged my kitchen sink, there was zero drainage. I sent out a quote request to a few companies on Yelp and immediately heard back from Jafco. They responded with their availability and a contact number. When I called they were able to give me a ballpark estimate and scheduled an appointment for 2 hrs later, a time that fit with my schedule. Graydon arrived on time, he was knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to clear up the clogged sink quickly, the cost was extremely reasonable and under the original estimate. If I ever need another plumber, I will definitely give Jafco a call!

I've used Blake Plumbing several times for different properties over the last 5 years and always been happy with the service. Helped in both emergency situations and larger projects. Provided options so I could decide how I wanted to handle fixes and never had any issues with the fixes.

I needed a plumber for my bathroom remodeling project. After some bad experiences with big name companies like beacon plumbing and rotoroter, I went to yelp to find a local contractor. After reading reviews, I gave JV Plumbing a call. I'm so glad I did.  Jose was very professional throughout the entire project. His rates were fantastic and his workmanship was exceptional. I took the remodel project on myself so I naturally had questions and didn't want to make his job harder. He was always communicative and always responded politely and respectfully and even took the time to compliment my work. JV Plumbing far exceeded my expectations as a Plumbing contractor from his service to his rates.  This is a business who is focused on the customer and not his bottom line.

They showed up on time and fully abided by the Covid rules.....we felt very comfortable with them in our office...we would highly recommend them and would not hastate to call  them if we needed work again.....

If you like to have the Middle East come to your kitchen hire these guys. I thought I was getting one or two plumbers I had for Middle Eastern plumbers screaming at the top of their lungs at each other for two days straight in my house speaking a different language. I thought I was under attack it was a nightmare for me and my husband I just wanted them to leave I didn't care if it was done or not

I'm currently having a very bad experience with Southwest plumbing. I made an appointment with them this morning and was given a window of 1-3pm for when they would arrive. At 2 pm I received a call saying they were on their way and should be here by 2:30. A little after 3 they still hadn't arrived, so I called and the dispatcher said they were 15 minutes away. They arrived nearly 30 minutes, later close to 3:45.

Also, the quote they provided was obscenely high.

don't use these guys. they come out to your house and quote you a crazy high price and then take your money for a service fee. they were out at my house for 10 minutes and charged me $100.00 and gave me a bid for double what everyone else gave me a bid for. TOTAL RIP OFF.
