Best Toilet Repair in Seattle WA
We recently had a new roof put on over our patio over the weekend. A wire got cut for our outside floodlight and tripped the entire circuit which also had several interior outlets on it. Seatown was out first thing Monday morning diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly. The technician, Craigan, was polite, wore a mask the whole time, and a true professional.
This was not the first time we worked with Seatown as they rewired our old knob and tube house and upgraded our panel earlier this year as well as converted our old oil heat to mini split electric heat pumps. All of the electricians and HVAC technicians were always professional, clean, cleaned up after themselves, and talked me through every step. Thomas was the lead on the house rewire project which spanned several days. He and the other members of his team including Tyler H, Tyler S, Dustin, Vince, Mathew, Stephen, and many more (this was a big project!) were polite and extremely knowledgable. I appreciated receiving all of the updates when they were expected to arrive, a photo of the technician so I knew who was coming into my home, and great communication from the office.
What was really impressive was after the first city inspection there were a few adjustments the inspectors requested. Seatown was out quickly to remedy the issues and fixed them at no additional cost. The city inspectors even said they are one of the good ones that will fix this. Plus the city inspector for the electrical panel was super impressed when they took the cover off and everything was neatly laid out.
I strongly recommend Seatown for any of your electric or heating needs!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
Their services are way overpriced. $800/ hour.
Just do it yourself.

Our Fixer came to help solve a quirky circuit breaker and GFCI problem; after discovering the simplest solution in a matter of minutes, he stayed on to take care of another small electrical socket fix while he was there. Great communication up front, timely notifications of his arrival, and polite and fun in person to work with and explain the situation to - would be delighted to use them again, and I even learned a little about our electrical setup for the next time.

Dean helped me diagnose and find a solution for a sump pump issue that was causing my breaker to trip (spoiler alert: it wasn't the sump pump). Because of Dean's experience with both electrical and plumbing, I didn't pay for a costly and unnecessary replacement. I really appreciated his patient and friendly attitude and will definitely call him again for my home repair needs.

Hunts came by for a Groupon water heater flush. Josh seemed very knowledgeable, but recommended work that may not have been necessary (replacing abs with pvc for vents), and price for repair was 10k. Hired someone else for water heater repair.

I called them to get a Quote for replacing 10 angle stops and to check what was wrong with my water heater. For the 10 angle stops they gave me a quote of 1583, whereas the competition gave me a quote of 390. I was staggered by the difference and checked if it was for the same parts and it was. They just took a look at the water heater and said it is almost out of warranty and to check what has gone wrong and repalce it would cost me more than to replace it. They gave me a quote of 1283 to replace the water heater. On a whim I called GE, the manufacturer and the heater had about 6 months of warranty left and they directed me on the phone to do the diagnosis and found that the element needs to be placed. I called another plumber and got it replaced for 90 bucks.

We had an AC unit installed. The salesman Dave assured us that we were getting the best service and warranty. The crew that came out included two guys to install the electrical and two to do the mechanical. The electrical installers did a great job and were fast and professional. The mechanical crew could do nothing but complain the whole time. The did a chop job on the whole thing and it did not pass inspection by the city of Lacey. They sent another gut to fix the air leaks, reinstall the screws for the exhaust and secure the outside unit to the pad. The system works, but just barely. When its hot, it is on all day. I do not know what the electric bill will be.
If you need AC try to find someone else.

I'm so grateful that Ismael and Brian came today.
Our main water line broke underground between the meter and the house.
I was able to dig the hole and pin-point the issue, but I was unable to fix the issue myself.
I decided to call Beacon Plumbing 425-679-9500 based on google search.
The operator stated upfront that there would be $100 charge for the visit and that the crew would be at our place within an hour!
The crew called me before arriving to ask more details about the issue, so that they can come prepared with all the parts needed.
In an hour, Ismael and Brian arrived at our place (7pm), inspected the issue and provided clear price estimate.
They've been very detailed and explained clearly what they would be repairing and even shown me the materials they would use.
I accepted the price estimate and the crew started working on the repair - me watching them so I can learn.
Both Ismael and Brian were very professional throughout the repair.
They disassembled the fittings and re-done the connections. It was not an easy job as the main water line was quite deep underground and there was not much space to work in.
Ismael and Brian helped me understand what they are doing and why throughout the repair.
They've very detailed and made sure that no debris/dirt gets trapped in the pipes, they've even vacuumed the pipes before making the connection.
After the repair was done (9pm), we did turn the water on and let it run for a few minutes, from the outside hose bibs, to flush any debris, and to check if the new connection is not leaking.
Then in the house to make sure we have running water in the house.
Ismael double-checked the connection for any leaks before completing the job.
After the repair, the crew suggested and did put a yellow stripe around the hole, so that nobody can fall into it.
I'm so grateful for the amazing job that Ismael and Brian did today.

Can't say enough good about this company. I needed septic repaired and every other company kept telling me it would cost up to 10 to 15 thousand to fix my system . A Advanced came out sucked out my system and with their modern high tech camera and tech devices were able to look down my drain fields and gave me a honest quote to repair and up date my system to make access easier for future needs they installed a filter system and and new access lids so no more digging up and trying to lift those heavy concrete lids.and repaired damaged drain fields. And all for 4 thousand dollars. The crew was very polite and professional. They keep area clean and keep me informed of their progress as they went along. Also would educate me as to the processes they were doing. The equipment they use is the latest in tech septic repair. GREAT company.GREAT team of employees.
I will use no other septic company but A Advanced Septic now.

Sherrie worked on my home by replacing one chandelier, two pendants, two light switches (to dimmer), and hanging a 26 lbs mirror on the wall. She was professional, careful with the work (read the instructions in advance, etc), and asked for my feedback along the way on the work to ensure it looks good to me (light setting, etc). She also texted me in advance so I knew she was coming (and she was on time).
The whole thing took four hours, which seems reasonable to me. Sherrie worked efficiently as I was there the whole time. Thanks again!

We, erm, accidentally drilled into a water pipe :-(
Contacted After Hours Services, got a text message back quickly. Set up a time for the next day (the water was turned off, so it was annoying but not an emergency).
Will came out. Found the problem. Patched the leak, by splicing in a piece of copper pipe. Good work; fair price; nice guy!

Patchwork was completed. They appear to have done a fine job. I stand by what I said.. the technicians are great, the customer support / office workers need re-training.

I am extremely disappointed with Dear Services after their service at my elderly mother's house today. They were called because her water would not turn off. After just under five hours of work with two team members, my mom was billed $9,426. The invoice notes just under $600 in parts, and while there is no labor number or billable rate specified (glaring omission), the labor per hour for two team members came to about $1,729. That's almost $900 an hour per person.
Another oddity was that her taken credit card was taken pre-service. And yes, while she did sign an estimate before service, the labor fees were absolutely not explained to her. I also asked verbally at the end of the job for explanation on the high cost, and was given a vague answer with no details in terms of billable rates.
My elderly mom was taken advantage of. Watch out for this company.
I will say they were polite and seemed to do a good job with the project tasks.
