I called Jeff Driscoll of Stellar Plumbing because of his excellent reviews on Yelp and other sights and I am so glad I did.  He asked the right questions on the phone so that he came prepared to work and he did, finishing a three hour job in 2 hours and 15 minutes and giving me loads of helpful advice as he did so.

The job was to install a hose faucet under my kitchen window.  He arrived on time, was organized, professional and thoroughly pleasant.  I hope I don't have plumbing problems in the future but, if I do, I will always call Jeff.  Experienced, reasonably priced, courteous and knowledgeable: what more could anyone ask?

Sam was fantastic and I highly recommend him! He replied quickly to my request for a garbage disposal inspection, and ultimately a replacement. He came same day and arrived when he said he would. The price was what he quoted for the work and he offered suggestions to prolong the life of my new disposal. Sam was very friendly and worked quickly!

Our Service Technician was Jim Yorba. We had gone thru a terrible week already when our basement toilet decided to start backing up. Jim Yorba was polite, professional, knowledgeable, informative and especially helpful to us above & beyond what he needed to do! A true professional AND customer service provider!!!

My hot water tank went out and started leaking and Dave came right out. He gave us a great price. Dave and his guys were very nice. Would definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

We hired Vortex Plumbing to install a new 50-gallon gas hot water tank for $2,200.  Afterwards the inspector cited  3 violations of City and State laws stating a need for 1) Expansion tank on the water heater 2) Earthquake straps and 3) Exhaust vent to slope per manufacturer specs.
Later Vortex demanded we pay them an extra $500 to correct their 3 violations which they stated were add ons, and we refused of course.
Everyone especially Seniors (elderly) should be alert for extra charges or add on fees being assessed.

He didn't reply emails and calls. It has been a week. two emails and one voice message. I get that it is the busy time of the year, but he can just reply a simple message saying he won't have time. We had a toilet installed from him before. He did replied me promptly last time. I really don't get it..........

These guys are a life saver.  Easy to schedule prompt service and reasonably price.  I have used them a few times personally and now my company uses them instead of the high priced vendors.  Thanks to these guys my plumbing problems are gone.

I'm so glad I found Layne's Plumbing!  We just moved into our house and noticed a leak under the sink. The previous owners did their own DIY work and their plumbing was shotty.  I messaged them on Yelp and Crissy answered right away even though it was a weekend.  She was very informative and helpful.  

Sean & Gary came out on Monday to assess the situation and give us a quote.  Brandon came back the same day and fixed our pipes!  He was so quick and also really knowledgeable.  He answered all of my wife's questions as she watched how they did the work (she suddenly developed an interest for plumbing lol) and he even taught her some stuff!!  Brandon got everything done in under 30 mins and even checked out our other bathrooms to make sure everything was ok.  

I would definitely recommend and use them again if the need arises!

We had a main line leak happening in my front yard, so I called to get a few bids for the work. The bids were not too far apart, so we went with Joe's 2 Sons since they could come out relatively soon and every other plumber seems to be super busy now. It turned out to be a good choice. The crew was very professional, courteous, and answered all my questions clearly and honestly. There was a slight hiccup on their end which expanded the work scope a bit, but they stuck with their original quote and finished the job. The work quality was excellent throughout and I would not hesitate to call them should the need arise in the future (crossing fingers).

As a lone female condo owner, not always understanding even some of the basics, Aaron not only explained everything thoroughly but also treated me with respect and courtesy.  When Brian showed up to do the work, he was quick, efficient, courteous and helpful.  He went out of his way to help me understand where and how things worked.  This company deserves your trust and your business.

Left voicemail with this company, and filled out their online form to request service and no response over a week. Maybe they have too many customers and are not interested in new business, and zero response is very annoying. I took my business elsewhere.

Beware: Don't leave your wife home alone with this plumbing company!

I called them to do a basic half hour inspection of a leak upstairs coming threw the ceiling downstairs with my wife home alone. After getting a $525.00 dollar bill when i got home i was furious! I called another company on what they charge for an inspection for a basic leak. It was only $50 bucks from another company. I immediately called to complain of the obvious rip off attempt on my wife and then got the run around. After days of messages left with supervisors someone finally called back. After threats and days of arm twisting  and putting me off. I got an apology and my money back. There are any and other plumbers out there, use them instead!

So I picked the wrong profession. I should have been a plumber. I called PSP to remove and install my dishwasher and replace the valve which was leaking. $100 dollars just to show up and give me an estimate which would go towards the repair cost... So basically you are committed at that point to them because what are you going to do call 5 companies to get the best price and spend $500 doing that? Anyway, 750 to replace my dishwasher with the new one in my garage... And since they were there I was getting a discount on replacing the valve at 200. I told them to go scratch on the install and to fix the leak which now is 500 dollars because it was no longer a combo job. I called Sears to do the install for 170 and got fleeced by PSP for 500 bucks since the valve was leaking pretty badly. I always support my local businesses before big companies but Puget Sound Plumbing I shall not support you. You are crooks in my book.
