I called San Jose Drain and Main because I had a leak under my kitchen sink.  The gentleman on the phone asked to me check the end of my sprayer and make sure its tightened.  Sure enough, that fixed the leak!!  Calling them saved my $120 minimum.  Even though they did not make any money, they helped fix my leak.  Thanks so much for your help.  Awesome service!!  I will definitely remember this if I have future plumbing issues.

Quick efficient service. Getting in contact and making the appointment was easy. They guys came out and replaced my garbage disposal in under an hour. Everything appears to be working fine. Will contact again if needed.

I quoted out to a few places and Handy wasn't the cheapest but the yelp reviews raved their work.  I gave them a shot, Duc and Vu came to my place to replace laundry valves.  Mine was gross and corroded and leaking.  Also wanted them to change out the shower valve since I had a slow leak.  They suggested I needed more work on my shower valve and told me what is needed.  However didn't pressure to change it out soon or this will explode.  They said it is ok and if it gets slightly worse then call them.  Thr laundry valves were a quick fix and they installed it.  All in all I'd recommend them and will use their service again.

The parts and work have a 1 year warranty and can be fixed in 24 hrs.

Michael helped me with fixing a bathtub spout and the experience from beginning to end was excellent. He responded every time immediately and arrived at the promised time. Definitely recommend!

We had a stopped up toilet and called Local Rooter at 8pm on a rainy night.  Within an hour David arrived at our home and used the auger to clear the toilet.  We were very happy with the prompt and professional service, can't ask for anything more!

Backstory - Last night at 7 PM (of course, a couple hours after sunset this time of year), my son emerges from his shower saying, Dad, the water is not draining in my shower. As you can imagine, that's something we never want to hear. But, there it was. After getting numerous towels in place to soak up the water in two back-to-back bathrooms (thankfully, it was shower water, not poo water), it was time to get someone out to my house quickly to get the sewer line flowing again.

I looked back a a previous review I did in 2018 for a drain service I recall being happy with. I called them, but I got a voicemail indicating they had closed for the day - just an hour before. With this situation being what it was, waiting until the morning in the hopes of getting into the service schedule wasn't going to work.

So, I began looking through reviews. I quickly came across Drain Rooter Service, and I liked the reviews I was reading. I saw that they were open until 9 PM, so I gave them a call at about 7:15 PM expecting to have to leave a message. To my surprise, Todd answered the phone and asked me how he could help. As it turns out, he was just finishing another service appointment, and he asked me to text him my address. I did, and he was at my house within 25-mins. That was a Wow!

Todd quickly diagnosed the problem, and offered to power-snake my main sewer-line for a reasonable price. I was glad to hear he had a power-snake because the results of a previous hydro-jet service had only lasted two-weeks. Then, I had to pay a different service to do it again using a power-snake.

And, Todd's power-snake has a second 25-ft section that he added so he can clear-out blockages that are a little farther out than 25-ft. His power-snake had to go out there beyond the first 25-ft to clear-out the blockage. In short order, the extended snake had the backed-up sewer water flowing smoothly again. We tested with a couple toilet flushes, and all was good.

Wrapping it all up, these are the Positives:
1. Todd answered when I called.
2. He understood the urgency of the situation.
3. He showed up in less than 1/2-hr of being called.
4. He uses an extra-long power-snake to break-up blockages beyond the 25-ft range.
5. His service fee was quite reasonable.
6. He offers a 30-day warranty.
7. He was pleasant and easy to talk with.

Negatives: None.

All in all, Todd saved the evening, and he made me look like a hero to my family. Drain Rooter Service is my new go-to service for urgent sewer-line problems. I highly recommend Drain Rooter Service. Give them a try.

my shower was not mixing hot and cold water properly. I hired 3 other plumbers before them. they all said they cannot find the cartridge for the shower and I need to replace the whole shower. This company was able to find a cartridge and save me a lot of money and hassles of breaking open a wall to replace whole shower

They know very little about tankless water heaters . Advised to flush it to fix the issue. The real contractor told me that they should have investigated the issue first before flushing . As of course flushing did not fix anything - was a total waste of money

We had purchased  a new clothes washer and found out the drain line was corroded causing the utility drain to back up.  After 3 estimates we elected to go with City of Sewer.  They would replace the section of sewer pipe for $1000 dollars, but since the house was built in the early 60's, we elected to do the entire cast iron sewer pipe from the house all the way to the curb.  They completed the entire job in 2 days with 5 to 6 workers each day.  Their estimate was the best of 3 and they used a trenchless system that keeps them from having to dig up your front yard.  Steven was there for the estimate and managed the repair which also allowed us to continue to use our house after the first day of work.  Hard workers and fair prices with quality work.  I crawl under the house on occasion and I was able to cut a second cawl space opening near the sewer line to give them better access with less crawling.  The other two companies didn't want to go from outside to the curb.  The cast iron was very corroded. I absolutely cannot recommend Eddie highly enough! He's not only an honest plumber, but he's professional and patient, seemingly happy to explain his plan and what he's doing each step of the way. Our drainage from sinks and laundry has been backed up lately, slow, and smelly. We recently received an estimate for over 8 thousand dollars from another plumber to tear up our brick patio and inspect the line after he failed to snake it. I called up Eddie and within 24 hours, despite being busy on another job, he came out here and cleared everything up beautifully for only $300. I was stunned.

Called Crown on Christmas Eve with an emergency. Main water line developed a leak and a section of my front lawn was becoming a saturated swamp. They responded at were at my house in 30 minutes. My technician, Freddie located the hole, dug 3 feet down and re-piped the damaged part of the pipe. Within two hours the problem was repaired. Freddie was very honest, pleasant and I will use Crown Plumbing again in the future. Also, I felt that the price they charged me, right before a holiday, was very fair and they did not over charge considering the emergency and Christmas Eve.

The service is great. Did a excellent job in fixing our shower valve and toilet base leaking issues.

I called this morning for a plumbing issue and someone was able to be dispatched (and arrived on time) a couple of hours later. They arrived, put on some shoe covers, gave a reasonable quote, and started to get to work. After a little bit of time, they realized that the issue would need to be resolved using a different method and they gave me some of the options to move forward. I decided not to take any of the options and they didn't charge me for the visit (although I did tip them for the help!). They seem like pretty organized and honest folks! I would call them again if I needed plumbing help!

YES- the 5 star reviews are real! I called yesterday and Adnan arrived first thing today. Little did he or I know, this would not be an ordinary sewer line clog! It was our main line from a clean out near the house to the street. After trying an auger with a 2 auger end, he concluded that the problem was a Slug of sewage that was not clearing. He left to get the power fush, and tried it several times after he returned, but no luck. Then AD went to the commercial auger with a 3 end, which didn't clear the line either. However- he NEVER gave up. He kept redoing the power flush and auger. In fact at one point we thought it may be a city problem since he was running 100+ft of auger and power flush down the line, but we are only about 60 ft from the street, so I called Union Sanitary and they sent out a service truck as well.
Fortunately, AD was able to finally clear the clog after what had to be 8+ different attempts with multiple tools. I was extremely impressed that he did not give up and say it was a City problem.Truly focused on complete satisfaction of his customer.
When the city truck arrived and  Adnan and I explained what he had done, the Union Sanitary rep was astonished at how persistent Adnan was and actually asked him for his card saying he would refer ALL of his customers to AAA Affordable and Adnan/Bakhtiar. Doesn't get any better than that! And I have a clean sewer line!

I don't no much about plumbing my faucet was leaking and I thought I needed a new faucets .But it was only a few washer he did a great job, he could have charge me for replacing a new faucet but it was only a  few washer. he was honest and save me $ Thank Again
