Best A/C Repair in San Jose CA

We called several of the big boy companies - one said on the answering machine that they were not booking anything for 3 weeks; one never answered; the other one has yet to return our call. So we remembered about Home Depot referrals. We called 2 of the electricians on their site and Dace returned our call first. And he said he could be at the house at 2 PM - which he was (maybe a few minutes early!). He took care of the job - showed and explained to my husband what the issue was - took time to answer questions. Instead of trying to recruit more work for himself he even talked himself out of some work! If we need an electrician we will definitely be calling this local company again - and I recommend that you do also!

Jason is a great guy, super professional and knows what his doing, his prices are very reasonable and fair, highly recommend him to anyone.

They installed an EV charger for me and were really responsive and professional. The charger works great. They even helped get the city license that's needed for installing a new charger. I would recommend and use them again if needed.

Minh did a fantastic job upgrading our electrical panel from an old 100 amp unit to a 200 amp solar ready unit.

In evaluating the project, he was very upfront on the challenges (larger box, elevation need on intake wires, San Jose and PG&E coordination, permitting) and submitted a competitive bid. Once work was underway, we actually encountered three delays from PG&E; two of them were last minute cancellations with Minh's team waiting for them to show. Every delay added more weeks to the project.

Even though this project would have been ideally done in 6 weeks, it ended up taking close to 6 months. Minh stayed true to everything within the original bid, and we finally have a new electrical panel with room to grow.

I highly recommend Minh for any electrical panel build outs.

Roger is great. Hard working individual that takes pride in the work he does. When dealing with electricity, you cant go with anyone. I had a NEMA 14-50 installed and when he came to give me a quote and also told of issues I might expect with the current electrical set up I had. But he didnt encourage me to change everything and spend money. He was honest. We scheduled the install, communicated well when he was coming and took him less than 40min to install. During the install, we talked a lot about where he came from and how he got to where he is. He feels like he is very lucky where he is at now and how he got to where he is, and he appreciated the opportunity to not only make a living and support his family, but to also to help others. We talked about solar panels, power boxes, etc. he gave his honest opinion about everything. In addition to all of this, his quote was much lower than all the other quotes I got. I still have future electrical jobs to do, and he will be the one to call upon when it is time. Thanks Roger for the install and the wonderful chat. Take it easy and keep keeping it real!

Duke answered my call right away.  He asked me to text him my address which I did.  He said he could be at our house at 1:00 p.m. then when he realized he would be a few minutes late he text me right away.  He found our problem with in minutes of arrival and fixed it.  Very dependable and knowledgeable!

After sorting through two other license electricians we got this outfit to do a major electrical job at our home based based on personal reference.  They have done work for both commercial and residence.  This outfit is the best of the best.  Prompt service.  Professional work.  Reasonable price.  Friendly.  Outline the works to be done in a clear and concise manner.  Work done in compliance with codes and regulations.

You would not regret going with this outfit.

Not sure if this company is still in business. Called multiple times and left messages to set up an appointment for an electric job, but no response.

Nick is such a great guy. Great professional. Gave best advice and did outstanding, quality work. I met with 11 electricians before I went with Nick and chose him regardless of quote price. Highly recommend and will call on him again

I stumbled upon some electrical issues when i was trying to replace a fountain pump and emailed three companies. Dan was the only one who called back. We originally set up an appointment without scheduling the time of day. When i tried to contact him later about a time, i was worried because i did not receive a reply. I found out later he wasn't well and so that one gets a pass. . .

He is Covid-safe, is professional, diagnosed the problem, installed a GFI and made a couple more recommendations about my options for the circuit in question. I asked if i could tag along behind him so i could learn and he had no problem with this.

Then we went up in the attic where i had some Romex cable that was poorly routed. He quickly fixed this, making sure everything was done professionally (keeping the new junction box in an out of the way location, routing the new cable and securing it, etc.). He does good work.

The price was a bit higher than others i had contacted but for the service, I'll take that any day. Thanks Dan!

We recently hired Jim to install recessed ceiling lights throughout our house, while also swapping out some old can-style recessed lights for the more modern LEDs. Jim did a fantastic job installing new ceiling lights (4 rooms and a hallway) while also removing / patching the ceiling from where the old centered light fixtures were. Jim also did a great job swapping out the old canned lights in 2 rooms for the modern LED style. Jim and his team are very considerate in minimizing clean-up and ensuring your home is clean when they finish the job. Jim is professional, courteous, responsive, and his prices are very reasonable. Jim and his team also follow all the proper safety protocols during COVID. Jim's work is very professional, I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again!

Edwin did a fantastic job putting in a ceiling fan in my husbands home office. We have sloped ceilings and he installed it perfectly! We also needed a few new outlets.  All of the work was done efficiently, quickly and with precision and at a good price. Edwin always retuned our phone calls on time and showed up to the appointments when he said he would. He was also respectful of our home and was very clean. We will definitely use Edwin again for any electrical needs as well as refer him to family and friends! Thank you Edwin!

Really great and happy experience. Got a new furnace and AC installed. Stan came for first visit and was to the point and gave awesome estimate. He helped apply referral and seasonal discount for a really great price. I had estimate for similar system from another vendor for around 2K more. Zaur installed the system. He is so nice and humble. He helped me install new Nest system in my new home and when I had some issue installing he came and helped!! What a experience. All the best to Fuse and team and wish for greater success for them.

Kyle was excellent in communication from the beginning! His friend Bruno did the work and was an awesome and focused guy.
He told me exactly what to expect, was patient with my questions and very professional. The power was out for about 2.5 hours but the job itself required to cut the drywall and install a bigger panel and replace all old twin breakers with single ones.
I had talked to other electricians and can clearly tell the difference between few professional ones and those with all the BS.

Great experience with DV Electric. They were able to send someone out to repair my bathroom fan the same day I called. Nahn arrived within the time frame specified and replaced an inoperable exhaust fan that wasn't originally installed properly. Nahn did a thorough job installing the new one, making sure it was done right!

I have used other electricians in the past who were in the top few results on Yelp but those guys only have availability weeks out and give you the overall impression they don't need (or care) about your business unless you have a larger, more expensive project.

That is not the case with DV Electric. Nahn did a fantastic job and provided great customer service. I will definitely use them again for other electrical repairs in the near future.
