Trust me, these are the guys you want to call for your plumbing concerns!  We called based on their stellar Yelp reviews, and they completely live up to their reputation.  They came within an hour on a weekend when other plumbers were closed.  The B.S. we were waiting for never came -- we got true, personable professionals who know their stuff!  To top it off, they even removed their shoes when they came inside the house!  These guys will be our go-to from now on and we highly recommend them to everybody!

I had several problems with our kitchen sink - a faucet that was broken in different parts (head was clogged, pull out cord not working, faucet knob broken), had a clogged air vent for the dishwasher that was causing a lot of water leakage on the counter top and last but not least, had an under sink filtration system that needed new tubing.
For all of these, I have contacted other plumbers via our Home Protection Plan and gotten quotes from Home Depot, etc. None of them panned out.

After reading the good reviews about EJ, thought I'd give them a try. I must say that I am very satisfied with their service. Firstly, they came over to address my problem within 2 hours of my calling, which is absolutely wonderful and secondly, the plumber who came out  - Jess - was very courteous and addressed all my problems.

He replaced my faucet with the one I wanted, cleaned out the clog for the dishwasher that blocked the air vent and spent considerable time to fix the under sink filtration system, which based on personal experience, is not the easiest thing to maneuver (I have tried [unsuccessfully] to fix it myself, several times).

Jess left the place clean and made sure there were no leaks after all the work he did. I am glad that they were a one-stop plumbing company that was able to address all my problems. Definitely recommend them to others.

Had to replace a valve under my kitchen sink in a hurry, and Handy Rooter & Plumbing was super responsive, polite, friendly, and most importantly, did great work for a fair price.  I will definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs.

I am sure there must be more than two plumbers in the San Jose are who are technically competent, who don't upsell, and who look for cost effective but code-compliant solutions. I don't know where the rest of them are, but Khoa is one of the two I do know.

I first hired Khoa a couple of years ago, based on Yelp reviews, to deal with a drain line issue. He was able to solve the problem despite the 80 year-old cast iron pipe that I suspect some plumbers would not have risked trying to open up--or would have charged a premium to deal with.

Then, recently, my water main burst, and my wife did the Yelp research. When Khoa showed up, I said Hey, I know you! Khoa fixed the water main, and then a second major problem a few weeks later, all at a fair price, and with what seems to be really solid work. I had another plumber in to do some fixture work of a kind that Khoa doesn't do, and he was impressed with Khoa's work.

Wanted $800 to replace a water heater, minus the actual water heater. Wanted $1200+ to replace and provide materials.
When my husband called to confirm, the price mysteriously jumped to $850.
After we went back and forth on quotes, with these guys and another company (who quoted $250 for labor same day install), we let this guy know - and his response was immediately low cost, low quality and then he quickly said he'd no longer be available to do the work, even if we wanted him to.
We ended up having the other guys pick up the water heater we bought from Lowe's and install it for $250, same day.
These guys are gouging people simply because they can. Here's a friendly tip - integrity goes a long way when running your own business.

I had a clogged bathroom sink and was hoping to find someone local who could do the work quickly. Found J&K on Yelp and I have to confirm that they did earn the 5-star rating. They were quick, efficient and masked up.
Unluckily, minutes after they left, we found a different leak in our old garbage disposal and they came back an hour later to help us a second time in the same morning.

I highly recommend Marlon for plumbing issues! We were in a bind because a different plumbing company flaked out on us, so I called Marlon and he came over right away. He was dependable and knowledgeable, was able to resolve our issue, and gave us lots of information to ensure we understood the situation. We'll definitely use his services again!

Called United Plumbing based on Yelp reviews. It is indeed a great choice. I had water backing out of my bathtub. United was able to provide a reasonable quote over the phone and send Andre out within an hour. Andre was very careful keep things clean indoor. He puts on shoe gloves, and have mopping cloths and cleaning papers around. He quickly snaked the drain and tested the water drainage thoroughly. He also helped my other questions around a water leak and identified I need new faucets to fix the leak.
The most amazing thing is that I gave 100 dollar cash extra to him (miscounted the new paper bills), and later he heads back to knock on my door to return the money. Such an honest guy. Highly recommend United Plumbing.

We woke up to a clogged kitchen sink on Mother's Day (2021).  That day didn't start well as not having a sink on such an important day is going to be a huge inconvenience.  I started calling plumbing companies and many were either not open or couldn't come on the same day.

On the verge of giving up, I stumbled upon Local Local Plumbing and I was originally a bit skeptical of the relatively few (but very good) reviews.  Out of desperation, I called anyway and the call was quickly answered by Steve.  I explained the situation to him and to my surprise, he said he could come as soon as noon once he finished his current job.

Steve arrived exactly at noon.  He was courteous and he listened attentively to not just my kitchen sink problem but also my long standing bathroom sink clogs as well.  He said he would take a look at the bathroom issues after he's done with the kitchen.

When Steve came into the house, he took off his shoes without being asked to.  He started working on the kitchen sink immediately and efficiently, and he kept the working area neat and clean.  Unfortunately, after trying two different snakes (25 feet), Steve concluded that the clog was deeper than the snakes were able to reach.  He asked about the availability of the crawl space, and he suggested checking out the pipe from the crawl space to find an alternate solution.

After Steve suited up for the crawl space, he went down and spent about 20 minutes assessing the situation from below.  When he came back up, he identified where the clog was and suggested to cut open that section of the pipe, cleared out the clog, and re-attached the pipe back.  He also offered the option of replacing the cut section with new pipe if the clog was too difficult to clear.  I thought this was going to be very expensive, but Steve gave me a very reasonable price.

After gathering all his equipments and materials, Steve went back into the crawl space again and started working on the new option.  While in the crawl space, he called me and kept me appraised of the progress.  After he was done in about 45 minutes, he stayed in the crawl space and called me again and had me prepare a sink-full of water and flush it down in one go so he can check for leaks.  I was very happy to see water gushing down the drain and no more clog.

When Steve came back up, he went outside the house to take off his now very dusty suit, tidy himself up a bit, and came back into the house to check the bathroom sinks.  He quickly identified the problem - he cleaned the drain stoppage on both sinks, and gave me some advise on how to regularly maintain the sink to minimize future clogs.

And Steve did not even charge for taking care of the bathroom sinks.  I would rate Steve a 6-star!!  In my 30 years of home ownership and being landlord to multiple rental properties, I have never come across a plumber as friendly, patient, respectful, and professional as Steve.  He is now on my quick dial.

Eddie is the real deal. We had a great experience with him. First, he is  polite when speaking on the phone, and ladies, don't be intimidated calling a plumber like Eddie as he doesn't talk down to women. (Some plumbers do not know how to speak to a lady.) He took out 2 old toilets and installed 2 new ones. Did a great job and didn't leave a mess. He even explained to us how to caulk the toilet because we wanted to learn.

To show he is an honest plumber, here's my experience. He quoted me for the job, which is the same quote I received from another plumber. I decided to go with Eddie because I was tired of calling around, and he was honest with me on the phone about the cost of discarding toilets. The other plumber told me how much he would charge to discard, and I could tell he was definitely making a lot of money off discarding. Also, I was reading Eddie's van while he was working on our toilets. It said at least $25 off any job indicating that his cost was cheaper than other plumbers. Well, he honored it and gave me that reasonable price.

He's polite, has good people skills, and our new toilets are working great. Will definitely call him for future plumbing needs.

I phoned six plumbers before I arrived at Crown Plumbing. Each one who had no time for the job would recommend another. Crown was the only one who would come out! A pipe had broken and I had to turn the water off. I had no water and faced up to two weeks or more before I could get an appointment (the worst cases). Crown came out at the end of the day (I was at my wit's end in finding a plumber) and did the job. The technician who came was Luis Perez. He knew what he was doing, was very polite and efficient. The price was fair.  I will use them again. It is very difficult to get a plumber right now - they are all busy with construction jobs that have been deferred because of the pandemic.

We run into sudden and very complicated failures with toilet water running due to a broken part, incoming water switch for toilet not working and the main water switch not working that were just identified after the running water. We called Right Plumbing Services and Eddie answered the call right away and promised to be on site within 30 mins. Eddie came in time and fixed all issues. We are happy with Eddie's job and would use Right Plumbing Services again for future issue.

Did good work.  Reasonable prices.  Kiet is a nice guy.

The water pipe broken in front my house yesterday and water was running everywhere.  I have called AAA and Khan was very friendly, he told me that he will come in the morning for an estimate.  This morning, Khan called to confirm and came 10 minutes before the actual time and his assistant started to dig under the ground tried to find out where was the leak.  In about 40 minutes, they located the broken pipe and fixed it with a new pipe.  The final cost is about $450.  Thanks for the speedy service and the skillful assistant's great work!!

Once again, Water Quality hit another one out of the park. Today they resolving a frustrating water leak in our shower, and get this ... within 20 minutes of arriving!  Their service personnel always do such a great job, but today Jeff really excelled!
