Best Sewer Line Installation in San Jose CA

San Jose Drain and Main is my go-to plumber because they show up as expected, no surprises when it's time to pay, leave the place cleaner than when they arrived! They texted us when they were on the way too.  This is the 2nd time we used them and it was for a water heater installation.  Sam arranged everything.. Giovani installed it by himself. If he ran into any dificulties or had to get parts, Sam told me in advance it  would be extra depending on the part, so I knew what to expect.  Great JOB!

Job: Replaced old cast iron sewer line, trenchless, from house to city main. I got three bids, but knew immediately I would chose EJ Plumbing  because of how engaged and real Jose Luis was. He came out to inspect and bid. Educated me on the whole process. He's the guy that gets the job done with his crew. Then for inspections, Benjamin and Danny step in. We passed inspections with flying colors. The yard was put back exactly as found.
    The only bump was West Bay Sanitation. They surprised us with a requirement to put their clean out 2ft inside our fence line. I am not delusional about regulations. I get it. But our main sewer line is in the easement 8ft behind our back fence. We've lived in our house since 1960. Nothing could be grandfathered in.
    You have to be approved for sewer line replacement permits with the City of Menlo Park and West Bay. Both require their own clean outs. This meant the 2 clean outs would be within 15 - 20ft of each other. One for the city 2ft from foundation, and one for West Bay 2ft inside our fence line, which put the West Bay clean out in a crap location in our yard.
    Danny from EJ was patient and helped me navigate. George(?) at West Bay was short and didn't want to deal with me. The only way not to have the 2nd clean out in the yard was to have a notarized West Bay form saying we cannot use their free service if we have a clog. The good news is Danny advised EJ's 25 year guarantee covered any clean out service we may need between the house and the main. We opted for the later.

Based on the Yelp reviews, I gave Trieu a call and he was very quick to call back. We discussed some of our plumbing issues and he managed to come in a day or two once we agreed on an estimate.

Trieu came out and within a few hours, quickly managed to go through my list of needs, he repaired a number of toilets, replaced a kitchen faucet and fixed leaky taps.

He is very professional and no job is too small for him. If you are looking for an honest, reliable and fair plumber, I have no hesitation in recommending Trieu.

Besides the fact that these guys are pretty good, the best thing about them is that they actually show up when they tell you they will. Over the past month I've had these guys come over to our home at least half dozen times since they were doing a large job under urgent conditions. They were always on time except twice when they showed up earlier!  Very professional team of people with solid knowledge of what is going on, with no excuses or delays. And no job seems too big or too small for them. I personally worked with Duy & Thai and both were excellent to work with, as I'm sure is the rest of their team.

Handy Plumbing Man was great with our implementation of a new whole house filter.  We installed an Express Water Whole House system to extend our appliance life while ensuring we have clean water without contaminates.  Marvin and Gustavo were exceptional advisors and were efficient, helpful and the pricing was very reasonably.   Highly recommend!

Joe was great!! I called Joe when i got home from work, around 7pm, and he still made the time to come by to look at the issue the same day. He knew exactly what to do, and came first thing in the morning and got the job done. Not only that, he guaranteed the fix or my money back. I couldn't be happier.

Their tech, Yri, was able to show up before the time slot. Yri was very personable, professional, and kept the area clean.

Steve did a nice job - timely arrived and fixed the water leaking issue; installed the bidet. Responsive and of great help. He provided good suggestions for other issues too.

I've called Ed on several occasions to help fix different items and he's never disappointed.  He's quick, thorough and honestly, honest.  He was very upfront about what's needed and cost, and I trust his word as his honor.  

It's been about a year since he's been to fix anything and everything he's fixed is working nominally.  Most recently I've a water hose that won't come off, help Ed HELP!

I was in a bind on a late afternoon when my pipes decided to back up and I couldn't use any toilets in my house without a mess, so I was super-grateful when I put a quote request out to All Go & almost immediately received a response from Kiet. After a quick call, he made it over to my house within a couple of hours and got right to work. It turned out that we were at a point where we needed to install a clean out valve at the front of our home in order make plumbing repairs less painful, so we agreed to have him take care of that as well. He sent Thanh out to our house the next day to take care of the installation and got it all done in the same day. We noticed a small leak behind the toilet the next day and Thanh promptly and unhesitatingly set out back to our house to take care of it with no fuss. They were clear with explaining all issues, quick to get the job done, and pleasant to work with.

My kitchen sink was leaking this morning and I needed to find a plumber immediately.  I search in Yelp and read so many good reviews about Khan and decided to give it a try.  Not only he was able to come on the same day, he provided extremely good service.  He help fixed the problem fast and charge me very reasonable price!  I will definitely put him in my list and will only call him in the future for any plumbing service.

Knowledgeable and reliable. Dave and his son came out to fix our backed up drains. I would call on them again.

The words professional, thorough, and tidy come to mind when I consider Water Quality Plumbing. They truly listened to my concerns and clearly, thoroughly, and promptly answered my questions.

Our drains were running slow, so I went on line and did all the DIY fixes, tried all the drain cleaners, and even used water bladders in all the clean outs.  They all worked!  For a short period of time.
So I finally gave in and called a plumber friend, Will and asked for help.  Will got back to me to say unfortunately he did not have the equipment to do main line clean outs.
But as friends do, Will did help out.  Call Santos at Go-mez Sewer and Drain,  he'll do a good job for you.
So I did.  Left a message and Santos returned the call within 10 minutes.  He said he could be at my place in a couple of hours.
Santos was friendly, professional, courteous and on time.  Accessed the problem quickly and did excellent work to get the problem solved.
His prices were fair, reasonable and honest, no where near the over-inflated prices of the so-called big companies.  
I am all for using small independent companies, and Santos with Go-mez Sewer and Drain is a prime example why small businesses work.
It was a pleasure doing business with him and I highly recommend his services.

We called Wizard Plumbing and had Mariano come to fix our clogged kitchen pipes the same day.  He showed up on time, was professional, neat and had the job finished in about 1 hour.  Great service.  Will use again.

We were in need of a new water heater and Bueno Plumbing and Rooter were quick, efficient, and within our price range. Would highly recommend!

I recently had George/All Pipes Plumbing repiped my whole house. He provided the most comprehensive, competitive bid, explained everything thoroughly, and has been reliable throughout the whole process. His is very knowledgeable and experienced, his work ethic is outstanding, he is friendly and takes great pride in his work. He is also very resourceful and takes all the challenges that come with replacing 70 year old galvanized plumbing in stride!
