They were awesome.  I called them in the morning about snaking sewer line.  They quoted reasonable price so I decided to use their service.  It was great that they could schedule it same day in the afternoon.  Before their arrival, they called me to update the time.  Once they were here, they did the job fast and right.  Thank you guys.

I called in today and got fast service they came out right to my store and gave me a couple hours noticed. They were very professional in sending out crew and timing. I really like how Victor (my service tech)was very humble, courteous, and honest. I like the pain free service and it didn't as much as I thought!

If I could give 6, I would give them 6.  They showed up on time. Great rate.  Great communication, explaining everything in detail.  Very friendly.  Went above and beyond by helping with a small extra item.   He also checked out a few other issues.   We will definitely use them in the future.

Mike was prompt from quoting to fixing. He showed up on time, did the job quickly, and checked other things that may be related to my clogged shower drain.

We'd surely call him again should something comes up in the future.

Had a recurring issue with clogged drain. It finally became an issue that needed to be remedied by professional intervention. Loi came out yesterday and identified the issue. He gave me the remedy and a reasonable quote. He saw our urgency and took time from his Sunday to come back and replace the old galvanized pipes. He and his team member were quick, clean, and very professional. I recommend them and am going to use them again.

Came out within a day of requesting service.  Was not able to fix anything (but were able to do the assessment for free), but gave some feedback which helped me fix it after they left.  (They mentioned using a toilet augur to clean up some calcium / mineral deposits near the toilet line.  That did some marginal help, but the real solution that I later thought of was to use CLR and I increased the tank water level inside the toilet.  Since then, I haven't had any backup problems.

Our shower and sink had low water pressure.  They came out to gauge the situation quickly, and scheduled another visit to fix the issue.  Everything was smooth - they were right on time and we received text message updates.  I highly recommend them.

Our toilets/tubs backed up Sunday night. I contacted them through Facebook, they got back to me quickly. Told me Joe would be there between 8am-9am on Monday morning. Joe showed up at 8am, solved the problem, and was done by 8:30. Super fast, super friendly!

Very responsive to my garbage disposal repair/ replacement needs.  Asked pertinent questions that expedited what level of service was required.  Appointment was made for next day.  They purchased the disposal and installed the new one in less than 30 minutes.

DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. Other 1-star reviews are saying truth about how this company always over-complicate the issues and try to charge more. It was just a small water line leak in the backyard. They quoted as $450 to find the leak and find it, while we already show them the leaking part. At the beginning they agreed with $200. However when they fix the issue, they asked $300 + tips! You need to be tough on their offer and tell them there's only so much you can give

Steve was able to help on short notice and fix our broken garbage disposal. He was very professional, wore a mask, and was thorough in his work. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs.

We are remodeling our restroom and ran into a few issues installing a new toilet etc. We were able to secure an appointment right away. Communication was quick and easy. The two gents that came to install our toilet and fix a leaky pipe, were super sufficient, timely and polite. Definitely recommend them for all your plumbing services.

Called Friday evening and They we're out early Saturday to make significant repair and restore water.

I called for service in Castro Valley, and the gentleman that I spoke to informed me that they don't service this area.  This was a complete fail, since both their website and Yelp info indicated that they do.  He mentioned that they only service up to Union City.  It would be great if they would update all of their info to be consistent and reflect their correct service areas.

We called Drain Masters yesterday because our drains were backing up and sludge was coming up out of the sink. They said they would be by within 90 minutes and actually got here in less than 30. Thanks for the fast response. Anyway, it is an old house and the sewer lines are not in the best of shape. Edward, the owner, was on the call and after some investigation, he gave it to us straight. We needed the sewer line snaked. Unfortunately, the clean out was not accessible due to some non permitted construction some time in the past so he would need to remove one of the toilets, snake the line, then reset the toilet. As an option, he said he would be able to cut through the exterior of the house in order to access the clean out. After snaking the sewer line, he would then add some additional length to the sewer line so that it extended to the exterior of the house. He would then restucco the wall so that it was good as new. Although more expensive, we opted for this option because it was a better long term solution.

Anyway, he got to work first with a 75 ft snake. Not long enough so he called in one of his workers with the big boy...the 175 ft snake. Bingo. After a couple of hours of hard work - success. He showed us what the problem was. Roots had grown into the sewer line and constricted the opening until water no longer was able to flow through the line. He patched things up as promised and now we are good as new.

Edward was polite, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to be around. I can't think that I have had a better, more positive experience.

While I was out of town my family had to cope with a seriously clogged toilet.

They did come out quickly the first time, removed the toilet, snaked the line and charged $195.  If that worked, this would have been a 5 star review.  However, within 24 hours it was clogged again.

They weren't as fast the second time; the family waited over the weekend with a clogged toilet,  They came out after the weekend and removed the toilet and snaked again (for another $125 charge!) but within 24 hours it clogged yet again.

They then told us we had to replace the toilet, ideally with an expensive Toto one.  Hundreds more dollars.

By that time I had returned from my trip, I ran hot water through the toilet and gave it a serious plunging and it has been fine ever since.

As near as I can tell they did not attempt to plunge or clear the toilet, but I wasn't there so I can't say for sure.  I'm unhappy that I was able solve the problem with a plunger that they couldn't with almost  $325 in labor, and a recommendation to spend more.

I imagine they did some good, but I was unhappy with the final result and what I believe to be an inappropriate recommendation.

We may yet replace the toilet, but we will not use this company, at least not for anything toilet related.

Hi there. Excellent experience. Responded quickly to my initial request. Came to my house on a Saturday. Polite, respectful and neat. He solved the problem, and his fee was reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

My shower drain got clogged and I needed a plumber asap, so I contacted about 5 different plumbing companies around 7 that  morning. Vic was the first to respond, but I waited for the others to get back to me. It was pretty pointless because Vic quoted me way lower than the other guys. Seriously, it was so much cheaper that I was a bit suspicious. I called him anyway and I'm glad I did. He came within an hour like he said he would and unclogged my drain in 10 minutes. Vic definitely deserves some more 5 stars on here!!

After a really bad experience with a different plumber, Santos came and solved all our problems quickly and efficiently!   Not only did Santos figure out our problem quickly but the cost was 1/10th what the first plumber tried to charge us!!  I highly recommend Gomez plumbing!!
