I have a ancient shower faucet that leaked like crazy. After watching several YouTube videos, I attempted - and utterly failed - to disassemble it for repair. Having seen Proven Plumbing's glowing reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor, I called for help and Jacob and Joseph came out the next day.

Jacob is an amazing! While internet plumbers suggested extreme remedies ranging from blow torch to Sawzall, it took him mere seconds to take the stuck on fixture apart with nothing but channel locks. He then meticulously installed the replacement, checked it for leaks, and put sealant around it. I am also grateful to Joseph for helping me locate my buried property owner shutoff valve. I am super happy with my experience and would definitely work with Proven Plumbing again!

I had an excellent experience with Blue Dragon Plumbing. Gilbert came out and was on time, very friendly and reassuring, and got the work done with no time wasted. He's got a great sense of humor too which made the whole experience better. I hadno doubts he knew exactly what he was doing. Highly recommend this company!!

In the past I've had a frustrating track record with plumbers--they can be hard to schedule and the quality of the work can be questionable. Rooter-man definitely deserves a five-star rating, and I'm glad I chose them when we suddenly found ourselves with a backed-up sewer line.

From the very beginning, calling their scheduling/dispatch line was smooth and pleasant. When Curtis showed up, he was diligent in helping us explore the issue (which ended up being more than a simple pipe-unplugging) and figure out a resolution plan. While under the house, he brought another frightening issue to our attention and helped us get it fixed quickly. I feel that he cared a lot about getting our problems resolved, doing quality work, leaving everything clean and tidy, and keeping our costs down.

It's good to know that I now have a plumber service that I can trust in case we run into anything in the future.

Thank you to capital city during the ice storm I made and appointment and they came out on time and was super courteous and professional granted I was lucky and didn't have any major issues after all. They are awesome and I would recommend them to anyone. One of my coworkers called them after I recommended them and they were super happy also. Thank you!!!!

EZ Flow Plumbing has helped us numerous times.  They are fast, efficient, and very nice. Water heaters, toilets, broken spigots (emergency water situation), clogged drains/garbage disposals.  You name it, they have fixed it.  Have had them fix something Christmas Eve.  Emilio, Terrance, and Theo have all been great.  Hope you don't need a plumber, but if you do, highly recommend!

I've used them several times for different projects and they are fantastic!! Incredibly trustworthy and thorough. They really take the time to explain what's going on and all possible options. Justin came out and ran a camera through our lines and made sure we understood the we problem and possible solutions.

Their pricing is extremely fair and they only charge for what they do. They don't try and up-sell things or charge for small simple parts. They even cleaned up after they were done.

They wore masks the whole and respected our space and home. I strongly recommend them for any and all plumbing needs.

We've found Abel to be reliable, experienced and very easy to work with. My wife and I initially used him to install a tankless hot water heater and have since hired him for other plumbing projects with great success. He is easy to communicate with and he worked with us to accommodate our schedule. He was even able to squeeze us in after the recent ice storm, when plumbers were hard to come by. He's our go-to guy for plumbing/water projects.

Super fast response and Braulio was one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable plumbers I have had the pleasure of watching. I had a broken water main in my front yard. Standard Plumbing was cheaper than the three the other plumbers I got quotes from. Call them without hesitation for any thing plumbing related!  Can't recommend them more.

We had them out recently to try and figure out why we had a puddle in our yard. He was quick to get back to us, and we loved that he was located in Manor. We also appreciated his knowledge and honesty when he correctly stated that it was a problem with the city's water line. We will for sure hire him again if we ever have another need for a plumber.

I called Republic Pipeworks because I needed a new hot water heater. Jim came to my house checked everything out and had it replaced with a brand new one for a GREAT price.  I would recommend Republic Pipeworks to anyone!

Graham, Andrew, Ollie and crew are exceptionally professional.  They responded quickly to a slab leak and were able to make the repair the same day.  Graham explained the details as he moved through the repair process.  Highly recommend these gentlemen.

Just got a new AC UNIT. The 2 guys that came to install were THE BEST!  If you go with Stan's request Adrian and Francisco. They go above and beyond. They are kind, helpful and extremely professional.  THE BEST!  They also leave your place neat and clean!

Jeff Plunkett from Thunderbird Plumbing did an amazing job replacing our Garbage Disposal and redesigning a plumbing strategy for a much larger, more advanced garbage disposal. Before finding Thunderbird Plumbing a previous company quoted us 500-700$ for a redesign plumbing strategy/install. Thunderbird Plumbing gave us a more efficient plumbing strategy with a price (100 - 130$) much more reasonable for the work being done.

We couldn't speak more highly of Mark. He services all our commercial buildings in the Austin area. Yesterday we had a plumbing issue that escalated quickly and Mark was extremely diligent in uncovering the underlying issue. He's patient, professional, on point, responsive, and an over all kind human! So nice doing business with this man. He is very experienced and has always been a huge help to our company!

Broke my spigot on the side of my house. Spot-on was out here quickly and very communicative about prices and the prices to complete the project correctly.

Yes, I am actually writing one of those reviews where you address the other Yelpers who have reviewed before you.

Daniel C. with your one star for not getting a call back--um, did something bad happen to you and maybe one time your girlfriend or boyfriend never called you back? You know the kind, the ones that say, I'll call you later but then they never do? Even when you got naked on the first date? Even after you named all of your future children together over pizza and three bottles of cheap wine on that fabulous-walk-of-shame-the-next-day-kind-of-evening?

Yes, sometimes people don't call you back. Sometimes you just sound like that kind of bonedog who will leave you a 3-star review even after you do an amazing job. Or, maybe, you have a high voice and no one can understand you when you leave a message. Or, maybe you bought the new 3G iPhone only to have the crappiest voice quality in the world and maybe no one will ever be able to understand you on the phone ever again.

Or MAYBE, just maybe, Daniel C., that lovely Nick at Union Jack did call you back and you just didn't know. Did you ever think about that, buddy?

THINGS HAPPEN. You can always call back unless you did that already and you're just that stalker dude who can't let go.  

That all being said, I learned today that leaving a one-star review for this sweet man Nick just about broke his heart, marring his perfect (and well-earned) Yelp five star reviewing average.

There is a reason that Nick has the highest plumber rating on Yelp. It's because he's AWESOME. Even if he didn't call you back, bonedog.

And, in case you're wondering why I am actually writing this review, Nick adeptly fixed the in-ground burst pipe that attaches to our garden hose on the side of our house. While it was fun having an impromptu wet t-shirt contest trying to fix this with my boyfriend late last night in the dark, Nick was a welcomed fix to our plumbing issue!

Have used Ben and O and M for my house and my rent house and our offices. Always excellent experiences.

Can't say enough good things about this company! There was a miscommunication due to an used with their phone line but the owner came out and made it right. I will definitely be calling CJ and Austin Plumbing for all my plumbing needs from here on out and recommending them to friends!

After my water heater ruptured, I started requesting bids for its replacement. Just getting the replies from most of  the bid requests took multiple days  The prices ranged all the way up to $4,500 with most of them including multiple fudge factors for additional charges at the time of service.  When I asked about  installation start times, I got replies of 3 days to 11 days. I started to see my future and it was cold. Think showers, cloths washing, dishes! I wondered if they were just playing me to see if I would crack under the freezing pressure and pay any price they asked? I hate all those manipulative negotiation games.

Then my fortune changed, I requested a bid from Emilio Hidrogo of Everest Plumbing at 10 o'clock in the evening. Shortly after requesting the bid, he replied. He gave me a reasonable fixed price quote for replacement of  both my water heater and a  Pressure Reduction Valve  that was restricting my household water flow from the city lines. When I enquired about the quality of the water heater, it was a top of the line professional brand heater. Even though he already had work scheduled for the next day, he was able to fit me in the morning of the following day.  

He is a Master Plumber and an Air Force veteran. You only have to talk to him for a little while to realize he is a straight shooter. The quality of the work he did at my house was top notch. The materials he used were high quality. And to top it all off, he is a very personable, sincere and likable person. Well honed in his craft.  You can't go wrong dealing with this family business.

Floyd and Honest AC are absolutely the best in town!  They have a great service plan that I signed up for. Paid one price to have Honest AC maintenance my system once in spring/summer and then again in the fall/winter. Since it was a very mild winter this year I neglected to call them for the fall/winter service. Honest AC called me to make sure my system was serviced as paid for!

On another occasion, I had an error code on my system when I woke up. I filled out the Contact form on the Honest AC website as it was before business hours and I had kids to get to school at the same time they opened. They called me as soon as the message was received at the beginning of business hours and I had a technician scheduled for that afternoon.

When in doubt over AC service providers, go with Honest AC!  Floyd operates highly on integrity and it shows in everyone that is with Honest AC!

Two years later from my original review and I still stand by every word I said!  I had issues trying to flush my hot water heater today and called mid morning for someone to come look at. I was able to have it serviced the same day and will be enjoy my hot water tonight!
