DOB Plumbing & Maintenance

Technicians were fantastic and courteous but the pricing wasn't clear all all.  Pricing was significantly increased because they had to use a bigger tool to do the job compared to the original rate that I was quoted for.  Please ask and clarify for price before anything is agreed to.

They cancelled due to flat tire and than the next day a young plumber needed to take pictures to his boss and it was time consuming.  I think I will try a plumber that does free estimate.

My experience with Shane was wonderful. He communicated clearly, provided a fair estimate and he was quick with replacing the garbage disposal. Even gave me good advice on a leaky bathroom faucet with cost saving options that wouldn't require breaking the tile.

They came out to Laie to help connect a capped direct natural gas line into my propane BBQ.   Not sure if a conversion kit was used, but it seems to be working good enough.  Price was fair about $600.

My toilet needed a new flush mate. The guys came in and assured me that they would get me up and running that same day. My toilet has never worked better and I am so thankful I found them.

My clog in the kitchen sink was sitting a couple days. I needed someone to come the next day since I needed to coordinate with a neighbor for a shared line. All the more popular plumbers were booked. DOB arrived later than initially planned due to a longer-than-expected previous job, but the dispatcher was very communicative via text and call, setting expectations. The price was very reasonable, the same as others on Yelp. The technician is licensed and patient in explaining what he was doing, professional, and cleaned up after himself. He snaked the line, and it's all good now. He's been a licensed plumber for a long time, and this is a new business (a month old), and he did a good job! He also does bathrooms and other plumbing needs. Consider using DOB for your next job!

We had a leak in the ceiling and called
DOB and talked to Chasity the dispatcher and she walked us through our problem and was able to send a tech within a timely matter. Cameron the tech came and was very professional and got the leak repaired and we very happy with the service.

These guys were awesome! My disposal was out and they came and changed it out lightning fast. Gave me options on the different disposal motors and prices of them before they got it and came to install. To be honest they were my 4th choice but they are the only ones that called back. I'm glad they did. Mahalos to Chasity the lady that answered the call. Will definitely call them again.

Very responsive, honest and timely. We had an emergency and they empathized with our problems and made sure we were all good. Would recommend them absolutely!
