We had an emergency pipe leak to be repaired. Yelp is always my first place to go. I look for fast response, good reviews, & affordability.

I found Jewel's Isle Plumbing, took a chance & called. Previous calls to other companies resulted in either no answer or no plumber available today. I expected another no answer but Tui answered! (Sigh of relief)  Tui was professional, listened to my concern, I asked how much he charges ($95/hr); Tui asked to text him my address & informed it would be a couple hours as he was at another job in town.

As promised he was here in a couple hours (another sigh of relief). Looked at the pipe leak situation, explained what he will do, I asked if he took cash or credit (both, but today he didn't have his card reader which was OK with me an ATM was close by). Tui also was very patient with all my questions & took the time to answer them as well as showed me what another issue can arise with a sample part he had, how he would fix it, how long it would take, & how much he would charge for parts/labor.

He was professional in his work, didn't mind answering our questions while he worked, a soft spoken but personable man, & very affordable. Most of all reliable. I really appreciate when a business says they will do what they say.

Avoid. Avoid avoid avoid. The plumber just left my home. We called because of a leak under our kitchen sink last night and had an appointment window of 10-12, he showed up at 1pm. When he came his first words were I don't have notes, what am I here for? Well, I'm not sure 100% my husband told them so I asked why the company didn't provide those details. He asked again what work He was there for so I explained the issue. Within 10 mins it was determined I needed a new disposal. He had me sign the estimate form, but the form was blank, so I took a photo of it since it seemed sketchy. It was also sketchy that he quoted me $150 for the first hour when we were told $120 last night. While he was gone buying a new disposal I sent my husband the photo and he called the company right away. Not only did they say he should not have had me sign a blank receipt, and suddenly we got an all inclusive quote. When he returned he proceeded to jokingly shame me, as he got in trouble because of the photo I took. I let him know it was my right and he proceeded to get to work. While he was working he decided it was a good opportunity to recruit me to Primerica, which is an MLM pyramid scheme not related to the business. This is beyond inappropriate, and decided to call his upline to tell them he had someone interested IN THE MIDDLE OF HIM FIXING THE DISPOSAL. When the appointment concluded he told me he didn't know how to take a credit card and asked for a check. I was not happy but found a check and paid him, taking another photo. Lastly, after signing the receipt he didn't leave my copy with me, so I chased him down before leaving and he acted as if giving me a receipt was unusal. I took it and happily sent him on his way. What a nightmare. I didn't even get proof of the cost of the disposal in the end. Go somewhere else! HomeAdviser was so very wrong.

Major leak in the ceiling in between our kitchen and dining room (2 story home) forcing me to turn off the main water valve.  Our first plumber assigned to us from American Home Shield was not able to help us till next week (this leak happened on a Wednesday) then our 2nd plumber (on Thursday) assigned came out but didn't have the equipment to scope the ceiling to pinpoint the problem so pulled out of the job.  They say 3rd times a charm.  It sure was.  Tui and one of his plumbers Oliver saved the day!  They both were tedious by the process of elimination found this leak the first time with their scope in the ceiling of my kitchen.  Tui then left but Oliver was the star of the fix.  He got the supplies he needed to fix what looks like a bad cold water blue tube cracked (2cm), 6-7inches from the nearest joint sending out a spray of water. It soaked and did its damage silently to my walls and ceiling.  I pray my Homeowners insurance adjuster will be diligent, kind, and honest as these folks were.  Patience is the key and they have it.  Not to forget their folks who took my phone call and immediately texted me my scheduled time.  I received their text while I was still on the phone with them.  Happy Plumbing when they come to your rescue.

Called a few plumbers for a bathroom renovation I had , Tui called me back within 5 minutes after I left a phone message . He was very nice , knowledgeable , and very reasonable with his prices . He showed up on time with his crew and did a fine and neat job and double checked all his work and cleaned up after everything was done . The project needed for him to show up 3 separate times and every time his service was excellent . I'd highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.

We had requested service through American Home Sheild. We were assigned this company to fix our water heater. Upon inspection the plumber Tui had stated that we needed to replace the water heater and that it would be covered under our homeowners plan with American Home Sheild. As a customer we expect timely service. I shouldn't be the one contacting you to figure out what's going on? Over the course of four weeks we had to call Tui to follow up on our water heater. The heater was replaced in a week and he didn't finish his job until 3 weeks later from installation. I am an honest person and all I ask is you to be straight up.

Lo and behold I had to submit another service request due to a leaky faucet. American Home Sheild assigned me the same plumber. Over the course of three weeks my Appointment has been rescheduled three times. As a business owner you would think that he cares about customer service and feedback. There is so much more to this that I can tell you but all I can say is if you're in search for a quality, timely plumber? This is not the company for you.

The Crew of Jewels Isle Plumbing did a great and fast repair of of the Moen shower control cartridge. Will definitely call them the next time I need help. great rates and great communication.

This plumber left me hanging this morning. I made an appointment the previous day, was told they would be here between 7 and 9 am. The office also told me they would call the night before. That call didn't happen and when I called the office again at 7:30 am and 9 am, they couldn't even reach the service manager. Lousy customer service!

Had the unexpected stain on my ceiling, and assumed it would cost my family thousands in repair cost.  Use the home advisor app & found the BEST plumbing professional (Tui & his apprentice) & dry wall repairman (Rory).  They both took the extra time to get it right; provided a great deal of knowledge, confidence & awareness for this inexperienced home owner.  Through this experience, I learned more on the care of my home, and that there are still good people in this world.

based on a response from Home Advisor, i first contacted this company in 11/2018 about routine maintenance on a solar water heater tank. talked to Tui who, after rescheduling three times, finally came to our house. he looked at heater and told my husband that he (my husband) should do service himself because it's not difficult. my husband ordered part from amazon  which turned out not to fit into the tank.
i called company again last night to request service. spoke to overnight answering personnel. received email at 4 a.m. today saying technician would be here today between 2 and 6 p.m.
tui called this morning ab out 7:30 a.m. to discuss request. i reminded him of first contact and said we want service done by him, not ourselves. after long conversation with my husband, tui told him where to buy part locally. tui said he wouldn't come to do the service.
i hen received another email at 9:30 a.m. today from office asking me to call them and send photo of heater to schedule service. i called and spoke with jerri, who handles scheduling. she said first email, saying technician would be here today between 2 and 6 p.m. was an error - new overnight answering personnel doesn't know how their system works. i told her that i am cancelling request because it is apparent that tui does not want to do to the job and despite, recommendation from Home Advisor and some good reviews on yelp, i will not be calling them again for anything.

Tui and his sons came out in July to replace an old water heater. They did a fantastic job and charged a very fair price. I was very pleased with their professionalism and how they took the time to explain what they were going to do and why. They also charged a fair price.  My landlord was so impressed that she had them come out to do some other plumbing work. Again they were professional, efficient, and charged them a very fair price. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was referred to Tui by another plumbing company that was unable to help me with a same day plumbing problem - a leaking water shut off valve for my new washer and dryer. Tui was professional and courteous on the phone, and was able to come out within a few hours. Replaced my shut off valve and hooked up the new appliances. Price was very reasonable, especially given same day service. I did have a small problem with the drainage connection, but Tui responded right away, and returned to my home in less than an hour, to take care of it.

Noticing my water pressure was low, he also recommended replacing my 20+ year old pressure reducing valve. Had him do this, but pressure didn't improve. At least I have a new valve.

American home shield sent these guys out to fix our problem. The owner Tui came out and fixed it same day. Excellent job and customer satisfaction guaranteed.

I had a plumbing problem with our shower . I contacted three plumbers in the Ewa Beach - Waipahu area.  Only one returned my call. He was pleasant but couldn't assist because he was booked up for weeks. He recommended Tui of Jewel Isle Plumbing.
Tui called back within 30 minutes and was able to come at 8 am the next day. Tui was so professional. He was on time, explained what needed to be done and then went to work. He fixed our shower problem within an hour and his fee was very reasonable.
For all future plumbing issues, I won't bother trying to reach anyone else. I'll call Tui.
