HISTORY
Established in 2018.
I have been doing general repair and maintenance in the community for about 10 years now. From a hobby that turned into a passion. My father always tells me to do what you love and it’ll become a reality. I am the next generation to my dad, following his footsteps and continuing the handyman business. Through him I was always taught to work with honesty, quality and integrity. Next Generation Handymen is a locally owned business based in Waipahu, HI. We strive to help homeowners and businesses with all their repair needs. We have all the tools and knowledge needed to do your home projects. Had a few AC units to be installed in the wall and needed a new handyman service because the last guys I used for another project quoted me way too much (they quoted me the same price I paid in total with Sonny for just a single unit-- I had 3 to be done). Sonny & his guy did a fine job with our units and got it done within a few hours! Will definitely be coming back for any new projects I have. Great prices, quick service and cleanup. Thank you guys!

I found Sonny and Next Generation Handyman on yelp. I had hired another handyman service with a ton of 5 star reviews for another job and I was very disappointed. That person (according to my tenant) was a bit rude and they overpriced everything. On top of that, I gave that handyman a list of specific things to fix and he suggested more things for the tenant to ask me to fix! So I will be giving them a 1 star. On the other hand, Sonny was professional, timely and reasonably priced. He was great at communicating every step of the way. This is a fairly newer company which is why their 5 star reviews aren't piling up just yet. But I'm sure they will. I love supporting local business run by locals.

Next Generation Handyman Services, led by Sonny and his team, exceeded our expectations in turning our dream home into a reality. Communication with Sonny was a breeze and he provided options that I didn't even know were possible.
The renovation was completed within the accurate timeline and timeframe provided, and I was constantly kept up to date. Although there were minor delays due to supply chain issues, I was presented with options to get similar work done within the same timeline.
Sonny and his team's professionalism was top-notch, and they felt like family rather than just hired construction experts. They bring great energy and a positive attitude to any challenge, (even when my wife constantly made changes). I cannot express how happy I am with their work, and it was sad to see them go once the job was completed.
Mike was prompt, efficient, ready to answer any questions & did a great job. I'm trusting this company with household repairs or renovations.
Sonny and Mike did an amazing job of completely renovating a really old half bath in my Mom's house! It was so old and gross and they make it look brand new.
Great communication, efficient, and competitive pricing. They repaired the rotting wood around the door frame and really did a meticulous job with the details. Highly recommend for all jobs big and small, a true jack of all trades. Mahalo! We are really grateful for the fantastic work!

Ran into some plumbing issues, trying to finish our last bathroom before the week ends. Gave Sonny a call to see if there is any availability to check it out and do some replacement. He was able to squeeze me in, all I had to do is take some pics and send it. He bought the materials, came and did it the next day. Fast and got the work done. Need any home improvements, fixes, etc NexGen Handymans the one to call.
NG Handyman team takes care of every job that you need around the house like from changing out a disposal, changing out a water heater etc. They even do all the electrical jobs like outlets, lights and switches. The team is very friendly, clean job site and all there work are cleans and perfect. Call them for a free estimate and you won't be disappointed!!
