HISTORY
Established in 2016.
After being in the Industry for 15 years I decided it was time to start up Varsity Electric in 2016. It all began with me and a van. Since then the demand grew and I have hired qualified electricians to meet those in need. We are continuing to grow providing excellent service to our clients at a fair price.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
My name is Ryan D. owner of Varsity Electric. I left my promising career at Costco in hopes to one day own my own business. I started my career as an apprentice for Local 76 in Tacoma. I spent the next 12 years learning the trade from the best in the industry. I was fortunate to have experienced a variety of different types of jobs. My favorite has to be working on the powerhouse at the Mossyrock Dam. In 2016 I felt that it was time to fulfill my ambitions of being a business owner. With the support of my Family and Friends Varsity Electric was born. I started out small just me and my van. Out the gate I was fortunate to work with some big names such as McDonalds, Starbucks, Tesla, and Victoria's Secret as a electrical sub contractor doing small T.I. jobs. Since then Varsity has grown on a reputation of being on time, great customer service and fairly priced. Our team has grown and has served over a 1000 clients since inception.

We had an outlet surge and a very near house fire due to the arc being created from old wiring. The outlet being only 6 inches from my sons bed, it's not a dramatic stretch to say this was a serious problem that we wanted resolved quickly.
Fortunately we had Justin show up, and he was super knowledgeable and able to fix the outlet and inspect and repair another nearby. We were so pleased with his demeanor and service that we had him bid a couple other projects for us. He completed the work quickly and professionally.
We already are making plans to have them come back out for some more electrical updating. It was a lucky draw for us finding Varsity Electric, but we are loyal customers from here on out.

I made an appointment with them to repair a couple electrical outlets in my house. On the day of the appointment they didn't show up or call. I called and left a message for them to ask what and no one ever called me back. I guess they don't need new business.

Great Service! Great Price!
I used Varsity to change out some exterior light fixtures at my house. NOt only did they do it quickly, and for a great price, but they showed up on time and were very personable. Highly Recommended!

5 stars is not nearly enough for Varsity Electric and Justin! I called Varsity Electric and spoke to Ryan with a huge ask of getting an electrician scheduled within the next week for a kitchen remodel that was starting. I had a short timeline because I had just received the schedule from the company we had doing the kitchen. Ryan said I was asking for a miracle and I said yes. He made it happen! Justin came out as scheduled with safety as a top priority during COVID. Justin came out and learned what we needed to do and helped us figure out the best timeline and he worked it all in to his already busy schedule to make sure we got everything done on time. We switched two lights from recessed lighting to pendent lights; he had to redo the wiring so that the pendants worked with the same switch. We had lights placed under our upper cabinets, two new chandeliers, and he even fixed our other chandelier that my husband and I put up but had an excess of chain and wiring on it. Justin finished up the project with Cody and we could not be happier. We will be calling Varsity Electric and Justin for any and ALL of our electrical needs. They are true professionals and are dedicated to delivering the best customer service. Thank you so much Varsity electric for making our kitchen remodel experience a better experience!

They are my go to electricians. I have had others out in the past but stopped doing that once Varsity Electric completed our first of multiple electric projects. I have had them do light fixture replacements, troubleshooting and repairs, adding outdoor electrical and replace all outlet receptacles in the house and bringing them up to code. They have always been prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to have electrical work done.

I had Varsity to give me a bid on the work I needed. They came out spent a hour, and left, they would not return my calls and I never received a bid for the work I needed accomplished. SO, I HAVE HAD VERY POOR QUALITY FROM HOME ADVISOR SENDING ME DEAD END CONTRACTORS.
Varsity made us no bids. The team came out the day after we called them and fixed everything! They were so skilled and had our little problems taken care of in one afternoon. I was shocked when the work was very reasonable, and quick!
