Tapps Electric is a family owned electrical contractor based in Sumner, Washington, founded by William Morris. Will is husband to Kayla Morris and father of two boys, Spencer and Liam. Will has been in the Electrical trade since 2010, and completed his Electrical Apprenticeship through TIC (The Industrial Company) part of the ABC association. We have had Tapps Electric out twice and the garage outlet was done perfectly and today they changed out two pendant lights and two other matching blue Italian glass light fixtures. Always a super professional job and that's why I keep hiring them.

I just moved in to my new house and found 3 outlets in the family room don't have power. Andy Mcdonald came, checked the trip breaker and start troubleshooting the issue. He quickly narrow down the problem and resolved it. There's no need to make a new hole in wall, etc.

From my first call to the office, to the electrician who came to give us a bid, and finally to Daniel, who completed the project, EVERYONE was superb! Daniel was professional, friendly and very respectful of our property during his installation of my EV Charging unit. we needed a new outlet for a garage freezer we purchased in addition to our fridge. Tapps electric is who I chose based on their reviews. their guy did a fabulous job installing the new outlet. it is perfection! They were responsive, professional, and got the job done quickly. I just needed a minor wiring repair and a new thermostat installed. The initial quote I got through Yelp was accurate. The price was not the lowest quote, but not outrageous either. I chose them based on their reviews and I'm satisfied. I like that they employ union electricians too. I'd consider them again in the future for sure.

Called Tapps to replace an old bathroom exhaust fan, they gave a a great estimate online! Very reasonable! The electrician showed up on time, he was very courteous and efficient. Great job Kyle ! Tapps Electric is either incompetent, dishonest, or both. The owner Will is rude, unhelpful, and does not care about customers. I lost count of how many times Tapps Electric provided false information and did not return calls and messages left to the office. Multiple estimates for different jobs I received were incomplete or contained false information. Due diligence and professionalism were totally absent. Only after work finished and failed was I told that if I wanted anything to actually work, it would cost 4x the original quote, even though everything was identified before work started. Either it was known the planned job wouldn't work but work proceeded anyway, or it should have been known the job wouldn't work based on the facts that were identified in advance. Those explanations reduce to dishonesty or incompetence. The owner says it's not their problem. Responsibility appears to be a foreign concept to Tapps Electric.

In addition to the false information, general incompetence, and waste-of-your-time owner, Tapps Electric technicians also quit the company and left in the middle of a job, damaged my interior walls, left behind giant messes of debris and garbage each time at each site, left the job as done when it wasn't, caused my overhead wires to smoke and burn which could have burned down my garage, no-showed on appointments to troubleshoot a failed installation after I had paid in full, and wouldn't return phone calls about the no-shows. This install was supposed to take one day, and instead it took more than two months of failed visits, unreturned calls, and no-shows for the owner to say 'too bad, we took your money and nothing works, and we knew it wouldn't work or should have, but that's your problem'.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Will and Tapps Electric.

If I could give a negative 100, I would!
Do not ever use this company!!!
I hired them to install a tv mount above my fireplace, my wall was destroyed, mount incorrectly installed even after 2 electricians! Totally incredibly inept people and company refused to come back to correct problem!!! I can send multiple pictures to show their shoddy workand also texts to deny fixing their mistakes!!! I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND hiring this company!!!!
The work that they performed and their response has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!
I have to hire another company to fix their mistakes!!!

Very Reliable, honest, and professional people. From the time we called into the company to when the electrician came out, we had nothing but the best of service and wonderful attitudes. Their scheduling was very prompt and the price was very reasonable. Jacob was awesome. He fixed our issue with new thermostats and changing out an older toggle switch. No problem whatsoever. We highly recommend them. This will definitely be our Go To company from now on.

I got home from Christmas out of town and used yelp to provide some suggestions. Tapps Electric responed first with a good time and solution to my problem. Daniel was here early-discovered the problem immediately. He fixed
my issue and i received recommendations from Will informing me of future projects that needed to be done in the near future.
I received an invoice and paid it immediately. These
Is a great company. I will call them again if i have any more issues.

I had an outlet that was sparking flames. Had i not noticed it before I left-my house might have caught on fire. Thanks again Daniel and Tapps electronic

We bought a Tesla and got an additional outlet done from Robert ( i hoped i remember his name correctly). Robert and Will were really nice to help me find a right plug for the outlet . IT WAS my first electronic car that we have owned. He even sent me pictures and website to order making sure everything was okay before he left. Eventhough it took a little bit long than i expected but better be safe than sorry. Now i know who to call to get this type of services done in the future.

Tapps who? Never heard back from them. I initially went through yelp to find these guys. I submitted all of my information over the weekend and received a follow up email requesting additional information. Once I provided it, I was told I would be receiving a call or email from someone to give me an estimate...never heard anything. If you care about promptness or your time, look elsewhere.

over priced. And the technician, even tho hard working, he hooked my garbage disposal up to a 220 wire. Shame on him. Almost set my house a fire. He did come back and fix the issue tho. Then I had to send inspector the updated version of the upgraded panel box. Just make sure the guy gets some rest before they over use him again.

Tapps was fast and efficient. We had a wiring issue that was impacting the entire front of our home. I called on a Monday and they had the issue fixed by early Tuesday morning. The technician wore a mask and was conscious of distancing.i would definitely use Tapps again.

So, our breaker for our hot water heater kept tripping and it was a Friday night. I called quite as few electricians to see if anyone would be able to come by on Saturday. Not one called me back. Then on Saturday I continued my calls, going down the list of electricians on yelp. I came to tapps electric, and even though they just started their business and had only one yelp review, I was desperate and I didn't care. The phone picked up to a lady and I told her our situation and that we had no hot water and had little kids and could they come by sometime over the weekend. She said that most likely yes, and a technician would call us back. I then continued to make more calls to electricians thinking they may not call back but no one else picked up or called back. Then I got a call back from Tapps electric! They were going to come out the next day at 2pm (Sunday). Needless to say, William came out and handled our problem and we now have hot water! Thank you so much for coming out on a Sunday. We will be using you all for all of our electric needs for now on!
