Reviews
We have annual subscription with Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating Air to check plumbing, heat pump and all electric devices twice a year. They did a great job.
Daylin King inspected the air handler, thermostat and heat pump and found no issues. He did a great job and answered all my questions. He also suggested a few air filters and shared his expert opinion on the subject.
Joel Williamson and Jordan took care of inspecting all electric devices. Jordan also fixed an outlet for me for no additional costs. They also answered all my questions.
Joe Coleman also inspected plumbing and found no issues. He also was very professional and answered all my questions.
Would give 0 star if I could. I had a very bad experience with this company on a water heater installation project. The staff I have communicated with, from technicians to their managers, are dishonest and arrogant. They charged $4,000 for a regular and simple 2-hr work of installation. The equipment itself is only worth $900, which means they charged almost $3,000 for labor and other miscellaneous. This was actually 2-5x more expensive than other company' quotes. However, their tech made a dishonest statement to me saying theirs is only a bit more expensive than others. As a result I was misled by him to accept their price. Later when I realized that I called their customer service and their manager shamelessly insisted that 2-5x more can still be intepreted as a bit more. Moreover, he groundlessly alleged that their price is fair, and all the other companies are not sustainable or have hidden fees which is obviously not true. When I said I was dissatisfied with their service including bad customer service experience, missing insulation and improper placement of the tank, and wanted to get my money back as promised in their 100% Money Back Guarantee for customers dissatisfaction policy, they refused that because he thinks their service was good. What is the point of such a policy if it was them but not customers who can define customer dissatisfication?
Update: Thanks for you response Bryan. But I have to say you were misleading people here again. You can always say like this apple is not from my apple tree so its price is not comparable to those from my apple tree. Actually other companies (like Home Depot) have very similar service to yours but charged much less while still making reasonable profits. I have never seen a company like yours whose managers defame other company's business like their business is not sustainable, they have hidden fees and use these false statements to deal with customers. Also, I tried to provide you with prices randomly sampled from the highest I can find (like Home Depot) to low, and the highest is still much lower than yours. How you misled people here about what I did looks exactly the same as how you made groundless comments on other companies. Other misleading words from your reply include 1) I wanted a full refund (I wanted a partial refund to just close the price gap but you refused, so I had to remind you the return policy because I was not satisfied with your service and how you dealt with your customer, but again you told me that customer's satisfaction can only be justified by you), 2) I signed with my happiness (I had to sign because the work was already complete, and I was misled by your technician about the price using the phrase a bit more expensive after I doubted the price). You offer to send your tech back is just a make up to your incomplete work, especially given such a high price I paid. You deliberately misinterpreted what I said, and is this is what you called honesty and integrity? From my experience, how your company runs business is actually not sustainable.
I recently hired Seatown Electric for some electrical work, and I was impressed with their service. The team was professional, efficient, and pleasant to work with. They provided timely estimates and were patient and collaborative in finding the best solutions for my needs, with tiered alternatives.
Seatown Electric's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were apparent throughout the project. Their reliability and professionalism encourage me to work with them again.
After my initially negative experience, SeaTown did a good job showing ownership and coming back to fix things for me free of charge. They rerouted the piping to a safer location (through joists as opposed to behind drywall) and avoided requiring any awkward sofit-building on my part.
They even covered the drywall work (I had already paid to drywall their existing holes the first time they did their work).
I had them over to cap a gas line. The gas guy started an argument about why I shouldn't get the gas capped, saying fracking is better for the environment than hydroelectric dams. Out of nowhere. Like I get it, removing gas service affects his job but it was weird.
Moved into another place so it's time to update my review. This time we bought a property and it needed some tlc. Blaine came out to look at our kitchen plumbing situation, there was evidence of a prior leak under the kitchen sink cabinet, the pipes were old, and the sink itself had some wear and tear.
Since Blaine was already over, we asked him to do a mini inspection and he pointed out some other points of failure that had already occurred or would be occurring in the near future. The sinks in the bathroom were metal and had visible rust on the undersides, the toilets were old and rocked around so there wasn't a good seal since the rings were squished, and the faucets were just old and ugly. Blaine took the time to walk us through various options and we chose to pick out our own parts and then have him come back to install the replacements. There was also concern about rusty colored water coming out of only one faucet and we were considering flushing the water heater but decided to hold back because we haven't decided on whether we want to replace the unit. There was never any pressure on what to do, just patience and guidance.
We ordered what we wanted and scheduled the work out. Blaine and another individual (I feel bad I can't remember his name, he was also very chill) came back out to do the replacements and everything looks and functions so much better. No leaks, no rocking toilets, no ugly sinks or faucets in the kitchen or bathroom, and a lot of confidence that everything else is solid for a while. If we ever run into a need we need to outsource, that fits within Seatown's scope, we will always come back here. Most of us dread this kind of work because it's costly and time consuming, but everyone I've worked with from Seatown has made the process quick and painless, and it's a pleasure working with Blaine.
We had our 1956 panel, outdoor connection and hot tub wire replaced. Jarin & James worked almost nonstop for 11.5 hours in a seamless dance of wires and metal! These two gentlemen remained positive the entire time despite the cold day.
I highly recommend Seatown to anyone requiring electrical work!
Got a heat pump installed two months ago with three mini split units. Went with three ceiling units for aesthetic reasons. Loving the dual heat/ac option. Had a few issues with the install, but Seatown made them right. Will be using them again and recommending them to others.
I requested a quote for installing a new mini-split heat pump system with eight inside air handlers. I pretty much could spec out the system that I wanted. The first quote was over 60,000. I said that this was way too much, and Colton, the estimator, suggested they could go to 50,000, which I also felt was unreasonable considering that the equipment cost was about 20,000. It is apparent that they will try to get as much as possible rather than provide service commensurate with the cost. I would avoid any company whose goal is to maximize profit unrealistically.
I update this review from 1 to 3 stars because the review is about the pricing process and not the actual work. My comments are not changed.

Our hot water heater stopped working. Luckily in summer, since we have radiant floor heating. The initial two visits were fine. Seatown diagnosed the issue as being a dead igniter, ordered a new one and installed it. Good so far. Unfortunately the replacement igniter only lasted two days. On the followup visit, the technician said he didn't think it was worth trying further repairs since the unit was 10 years old and showed some rust on the top. BUT - if I agreed to a replacement deal right then and there, they could knock a couple of thousand off the replacement cost of $15K. I declined.
Another company took a look, said the rust was just on the outside (it's a stainless tank), put in another igniter and ordered a spare. For this company the igniters are known to be problematic. Estimated a replacement cost of $10K, but thought the unit should be good for at least another 5 years. We have hot water and our bank account remains intact, no thanks to Seatown.
The technicians appeared to be knowledgeable and were very professional. The reason for only a three star rating is the pricing. I was quoted more than $1,400 to recharge the system with 5 pounds of refrigerant. Additionally to actually determine if there was a leak and then fix it was in excess of $4,000, for which price you could almost get a new mini-split system installed. While upfront about the prices, they are exorbitant.
- Lost quality as soon as you signed up for their plan -
We signed up for their annual plan because the service was good last time, but that's the case this time. Our appointment for maintenance was 8-11:30, but the guy arrived around 3pm. He took roughly an hour or so to finish the maintenance, but our AC stopped working afterward.
We called immediately after but nobody answered the phone. We called again at 8AM in the morning and we were told that seatown won't be able to send anyone for a week. I don't know what happened to their good service, but we will not use their service again for the following year. They made a mistake but cannot fix it immediately, and we now need to tolerate this weather for a week. It's a shame that there's no value in loyalty at all, look elsewhere!
Justuce and his crew were fantastic. They were super professional, on time, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I had a furnace/heat pump system + a ductless installed in my main house and a head pump + ductless installed in my DADU.
Everything about my experience working with Seatown was top notch. Highly recommend.
I wanted to replace an old ceiling fan and add a new one in a bedroom without an overhead fixture. It was actually hard to find a company since I guess most don't like working in condos. But Seatown was quick to respond and were super professional.
Colby did the consultation, then the work a couple of weeks later. He was great at answering all of my questions and talking me through my options. I'm pleased with the Minka-Aire fans he recommended and with the installation. He made sure everything was cleaned up and also made sure the remotes were programmed correctly.
Even though he had to cut two holes in the ceiling/wall to fish the line through (no attic), there was no mess and hardly any dust, and the holes are small enough to patch discreetly. Very pleased!

After multiple visits and a board replacement we finally had heat! Fast forward a few months during record Temps and unit fails again! Found a different tech and after purchasing a 15 dollar part we are back up and running. Really makes you wonder about initial techs troubleshooting skills!! Oh did I forget to mention the thousand dollar bill! Do not recommend!
I am a repeat customer. They charged $500 plus tax to replace a light switch. It took 10 minutes. They refused to adjust the bill. This is highway robbery. I will not use them again.

Extremely expensive. Not willing to work with you
Will not return deposit if you don't want them to do the work
Would not call them again
I was greeted by a very nice person on the phone who was obviously instructed to sell me a service plan before ever understanding why I called. In the first place. I needed a bid for an electric job, but my call was hijacked about one or two
sentences into the conversation so that she could upsell me this inspection plan. I politely listened to her pitch for around 5 minutes. I politely refused and asked a bit more about what I needed where as she immediately answered back by pitching her service plan again . Really?
I do not have the time to waste debating the merits or value of your special service plan which I did not need , want, nor ask for, I politely asked her again about how to get someone to come and get a bid on my job and which case her tone changed considerably and her annoyance with me was so disrespectful.
Thanks Becky, but no thanks. If this is how you treat people who aren't even clients yet, I can only imagine how much upselling and abuse I would have to endure to work with your company.
Go find someone elses time and money to waste.
I have had the absolute WORST experience with Seatown. I hired them for a substantial job (new heat pump, new ducting, tankless water heater, electrical work) and their work has repeatedly failed inspections. (The inspector just came out for the THIRD time today and failed the safety mechanisms again.) They are the MOST expensive way to get things done, and although their trucks and uniforms are very cute, the range of competency is astounding. Their plumbers left the condensate from the tankless heater draining into a coffee cup which overflowed onto the floor, did the gas line incorrectly, and had the entirely wrong venting system installed. After spending more money than I'm comfortable sharing here, they offered me a laughable $250 (which was far less than 1% of the job) as compensation for the amount of time and energy I've spent (am STILL spending) getting this done correctly so I can move on with my remodel. The one star is for the couple of employees who were very polite and kind. I DO NOT recommend Seatown at all. STAY AWAY.
**Update: Ryan did reach out and take responsibility for my horrible experience with Seatown. They compensated me 5% for the many hours (over many months of waiting to get this done) I've spent on this aspect of the remodel. He was kind - as many of the employees are - and horrified, once he looked through my file. All Seatown work has finally passed inspection - though it failed two more times along the way.
Repair person came and pressed red button on exterior GFI reset button. Took him longer to fill out the invoice for **$318.** (!!) Will never use this overpriced company again.

Make sure to get some pricing on things before you actually have them come out and charge you the trip charge. For what we asked to have done couldnt believe it cost $325. I needed to replace an exterior motion light but didnt have a ladder high enough or confidence to climb the ladder. I have electrical experience but at ground level. I needed them to come out and install over a bay window area that I could not reach. Just a simple cheap motion light to install and it cost over $350! Seriously? The guy took all of 10min. I should have gone with a local smaller business instead that we initially were going to use but they werent available. Nothing against the technician that installed the item but their pricing is a bit ridiculous.
Updating my review of Seatown because I turn to them every time I need something for my house... in the past they have helped install sckets for dishwashers and an EV charger for my car... this year, Luis came out to service the furnace and I appreciate that he took the time to explain things to me, so I can better care for it during the year between maintenance calls. I also need to mention how EASY it is to schedule with them, because Taylar texts instead of calls (if I have to call anywhere it takes me twice as long to get things done). I've been relying on them for about 4 years now, and have seen how they have grown during that time, but the service and attention to detail remain top notch.
Had Seatown out to bid a quick charge outlet addition to our garage for our EV. The bid was $2500. We priced out the parts (2) at absolute max, $300, and that's twice what the parts can be bought for, by us but we wanted to be fair on the parts cost so went high. The permit they bid at $60 - $100. They said the job would take 1.5 hours...so that's $1800-1900 and hour for labor. No thanks

After getting a new dishwasher, I found out that not only did I need an outlet installed (the old dishwasher had been hard-wired), but also needed two new circuits running to the kitchen because the previous owners had put the dishwasher and fridge on the same circuit as some outlets in a very different part of the house. While I had not had any issues, this is not up to code. I called several electricians for estimates, but none of them could do the work for several weeks. I also found that there are some pretty dodgy electricians out there!
When I called Seatown, I was immediately connected to a real person who was knowledgeable and helpful. She booked an on-site visit and estimate for the very next day. I did get some sticker shock at the price, but I know electrical work is just expensive. Since they were able to do the work the following day, I went ahead.
The techs who showed up were great. They kept me informed every step of the way, and even though they ended up spending over an hour figuring out the best way to run the new wire because there was no easy access to the main house from the garage, the price didn't go up. I was left with a neat and safe solution, fully inspected and permitted.
Bottom line - if you want it done right, you can trust Seatown!
Hired Seatown for a home rewire in Seattle and they definitely exceeded expectations. Bradley and his crew were on time, respectful, and the communication was great. Rewiring a home requires technical skills and creativity and Bradley clearly excels at both of those things. The job was done on time and they helped with little things a long the way like installing my new light fixtures. The panel itself looks great and is partially recessed with a little light switch on it that controls a fixture above the panel so I can see at night. Stuff like this isn't required but it's a nice touch that sets them apart from competitors. Highly recommend Seatown for home rewires.
I love this company. Everyone is professional and knowledgeable, and they know how to treat people right. We had our heatpump serviced from Seatown this week. Our heatpump is 9 years old, we have had 3 different companies service the heatpump, and none of them found a setup error that was made o. The heatpump when it was installed. The house is much warmer, and the heat is more balanced throughout the house. Stephen Dalton and Daylin King. Stephen k owns his stuff. Thanks, fellas, for a job well done.
They came in a pinch to help me with my furnace last spring and the hopes they jumped through to get a new one installed for me in a matter of days, before I had to leave town was impressive. Today they replaced my hot water heater and it went smoothly.
I bought a package for the annual check-ups on a/c, furnace, pluming, and electric because I have and they ended up finding a problem with my air conditioner and my furnace so I'd say it was well worth it.
One thing that strikes me about this company aside from their super cute trucks is that everybody that I've talked to on the phone and working in my home is so personable. Today Ryan and Adrian did my water heater and they explained everything that they were doing in a way I could understand it. It feels really good to have a one stop place for all of my needs. I should also mention that I had a schedule conflict for my appointment today when I heard what time they were coming, and they helped me right away to reschedule the same day. I can't tell you how pleasant it is to call the company, speak with a cheery person, and have such a pleasant experience. Customer service is an art that is severely lacking everywhere these days so it's a breath of fresh air to finally get a healthy dose of it with Seatown. Feeling really grateful for the preppy interactions with everyone I've interacted with. Shoutout to Stephan and Beau who have also helped me recently too.
Update:
Seatown reached out to me and handled their mistake of not getting a permit prior to installation. For this, I'm changing it to a 3 star. They applied both of the permit on March 2nd, while the installation was done on Feb. 14. Two weeks after the installation. While I appreciate them mitigating the issue, I just want to point out that it's not just a miscommunication as the owner described. They probably would've continued to ghost me had I not left this review. Their techs are capable, but if you need to get something done well, you probably need to pay close attention to details to avoid them cutting corners.
------------
Stay away from this place. I had them replace a fully functional almost identical tankless gas water heater (meaning that they did nothing else except for taking the old one out and swapping in the new one). Total installation and q&a time was 2.5 hours. And they charged me 4300 for just a 5.5 GPM heater. Translating that to hourly labor cost, is a whooping $1320/hr(labor only). That was not the most absurd part. Little did I know that they, despite their advertisement, did not include permit in the cost. The installer should request inspection within 48 hours of inspection, but they didn't do that. I reached out to them but they have ghosted me. Avoid this business at all cost. I thought you get what you paid for, but this was not the case. Premium price for tons of trouble that I don't have time to sort out.
I've used Seatown for A/C, plumbing, and electrical services so I know enough to sum things up. The business is built for servicing a large volume of customers, which compromises the customer experience.
Processes inside the company are opaque, which can be great if everything goes without a hitch, but otherwise results in unfair pain to the customer. Your point of contact will be the dispatcher and the field tech, and there is a disconnect between the two.
The disconnect was egregious recently when I scheduled an electrician as part of a larger job, to install an outlet on an already-wired receptacle. We had to schedule it 3 weeks out. On the day of (late Friday afternoon) I get a text stating, Our technician is needing to leave to handle an emergency at home. At this time i am needing to move this to another day. [...] I will move this our open spot [in another 2 weeks]. Clearly Seatown's tech availability is so watertight that there is no flexibility except to start over from the beginning of the dispatch process. And my larger job needed a workaround and followup, by the way.
For HVAC, there was a disconnect between the types of field techs to provide basic advice on garage air conditioning. The HVAC tech was great to quote a minisplit in my garage, but needed to schedule an electrician to make any claim on an actual garage heater or radiant heater. This is a communication disconnect between the dispatcher, too, as we discussed it and they were planning to send both.
Finally, the techs don't give as much care to considering multiple options to achieve the customer's objective. I asked the plumber who replaced my sink to take a look at a hot water heater that wasn't heating well. He said it was getting old and quoted a replacement. Then after he left, I learned from my Mom that these units often have a temperature knob, which turned out to be true in my case. I turned the knob up and have had great hot water for several months now.
It is really hard in Seattle to find contractors in these times, and as a best worst option, Seatown may be all you've got. But you should work to build trust with someone at a smaller operation. You may spend more hour for hour, but the quotes are more careful and the techs have an interest in your satisfaction that goes past the current job, so you overall spend less. And you talk to fewer people, with fewer communication breakdowns.
Ever wonder why Seatown can have so many ads on TV and offer signing bonuses and cruises to new employees? It's because they overcharge for their work!
I had Seatown come out to check on a plugged drain. Took me just under two weeks to get someone to come out and then they didn't send the right person. But, the first guy DID install a new garbage disposal ... total bill? Over $2,000. You got that right ... OVER $2,000. For a bloody disposal! I asked to have someone call (left several messages) to explain why it was so expensive - all I got were crickets.
Don't be fooled - these guys are crooks and don't give a tinker's damn about helping people - especially retired people ... they just want their money.

We have used Seatown for a hot water tank install, kitchen drain clog and shower handle repair. Our experience for all three service calls was outstanding. Their entire process from appointment arrangement, communication of service tech ETA and final resolution of the repair has been consistently superior to other services we have used. It is easy to tell that Seatown not only hires great staff but train them well. I highly recommend Seatown for your next plumbing job.
Not the best experience. I got the feeling this company was out to make big profits from the customer.
Summary:
- Super nice phone folks when you call.
- Charge $290 just to come look at your furnace and it is not applied to any necessary repairs.
- Offered a $450 surcharge to come in one day.
- Personable tech, who arrived as promised.
- Tech's Diagnosis turned out to be wrong.
- Offered pretty expensive repair options, including a $14,000 same-day full system replacement.
- felt a bit like an upsell type of experience to me. I can't be sure as I am just one data point.
Details:
The details of my experience, for those who have too much time on their hands.
When you contact them, you immediately get the impression that this is a well run company. People on the phone are good, they send out an email communication that is very polished, their service people are clean, uniformed, and wear booties over their shoes to keep your floors clean... One thing I did love was that they kept you very well informed of when your service technician would arrive, what the technicians name was, and then a call 30 minutes before they arrived. This side of the business was a very, well organized and good experience.
My heater went out and I was looking for someone who could come quickly. They charge $290 to come out to your house and do a diagnostic on your heater, (which BtW, is not applied to repair cost if you do a repair) and the nice person on the phone Found an appointment for me in two days. So far so good. They did offer to charge an additional $450 to come out in one day, which, on the one hand I understand, but on the other hand started to feel a little odd. We have a great fireplace, so I opted for the two day $290 diagnostic visit.
The service tech came out exactly as promised, and was very personable. I should mention here that I am an engineer and have some understanding of the heater, and how systems like this workS. I had looked up the error code that my heater was flashing, had opened up the doors, and understood that the blower was not blowing, while the rest of the system seem to be working fine. With no blower air, the heat exchanger would get hot and trip a limit that would turn the system off. Makes sense. Usually it is a controller board, blower module, or blower motor that is the root of this problem.
The tech began by checking the power to the controller board - a perfectly reasonable first step. He quickly made his (incorrect) assessment that the problem was a faulty controller board that would need to be replaced. OK fine, we are human and we sometimes err and he wasn't crazy as This is a plausible explanation for the heater problem. I asked him if he had bypassed the controller board and given power to the blower directly to make sure that the other systems were working. He gave me a shocked look that I would suggest such a thing. OK, this is not my exact area of expertise, but it seems when you've identified an upstream problem, a good idea is to check the systems that come after it to make sure they are working. If they are working, then you know you are correct in your diagnosis.
And this is when I began to get nervous.
The tech then pulled out a camera and began investigating if there were any cracks in the heat exchanger. Not a bad idea as this is a potentially serious problem. He also pointed to the fact that the heater was plugged in to an outlet rather than hardwired on a dedicated circuit, and that this was not to code. For them to do a repair of the circuitboard, he would have to have this repaired first, and since they are also an electrical company he got a quote for doing that.
Then came the $14,000 estimate to simply replace the whole system with a new one which he could get done that same day.
I wonder how many people, faced with the cold and not knowing that system is actually repairable, would just say go ahead. It seems a bit sketchy to me, but not so much that I can directly accuse them of taking advantage.
So...
In repairing the system a few days later, after ordering a brand new controller board and having that not fix the problem, we were able to determine that the problem was actually a fan controller module that had burnt out. (The downstream part I had wanted him to check) As soon as we removed it we could see and smell That there had been an overheating.
So in summary, in addition to charging me $290 for a diagnostic, he misdiagnosed the problem. And offered me a $14,000 fix for the problem. Look, maybe he just got it wrong, and was doing the best he could. But the net of my experience was that SeaTowns business model charged me for a misdiagnosis, offered a super expensive expediting, and a very expensive solution. Not what I look for in a vendor.
Seatown did a great job for us when we needed to replace the ductwork in our crawl space. Fair price impeccable service completed in less than a day and left no trace.
The team was amazing.
Seatown Electric wanted a total price of $6,800 for installing a hot tub 50amp circuit and running 45' of conduit! There was no digging or anything special about this job. This was 50% or more than the other 2 bids we received from reputable licensed electricians in our area. I'm sure their work is excellent, but this is just price gauging the customer!
Seatown Services surpassed my expectations.
My house was built in 1948. I've been living in it since 1990. The wiring was old, and the circuit breakers could not withstand a space heater and a hair dryer at the same time. Eventually, one of my outlets simply refused to work. I needed an electrician; but. which one?
Seatown had the nicest commercial on TV. I liked the colors on their trucks and the jingle. I called them and asked for a service call to replace my outlet. Replace one outlet. Is what I told the operator when she asked what service I needed.
Enter JAMES HENRY III, electrician. James examined an outlet or two, looked inside the circuit box, and told me I needed a rewire. I already knew it, but he helped me face facts and gave me an estimate. I said, Yes! And I wrote a check.
I want to thank James for analyzing the situation and helping me reach the right decision. No pressure, just information. He clearly knew what he was talking about. James is an excellent communicator. He made sure that I knew when to expect the next step, and he informed the plumber, and the electrician who actually did the job. When they arrived they already knew what to do because James had carefully informed them. Originally there was a walk-through planned, but James was called away to an emergency installation. When electrician KYLE BOSSOM showed up, he already knew what needed to be done because James had informed him.
Along with Kyle came his apprentice, BRETT FETZER. They worked very well together, and seemed to be good buddies who enjoyed doing their job. Brett didn't seem to mind climbing up on the roof in the cold wind, or donning a hazmat suit to work in the mucky crawl space under the house. Brett showed me a photograph of some grey water around the sewer so I knew what was happening there.
Kyle was all business. He was on time every morning. He and Brett worked efficiently, and only stopped working briefly to have a sandwich each day. The job had been estimated to take six days and they finished in four-and-a-half. Kyle also noticed that my estimate contained a dishwasher and a garbage disposal, neither of which I wanted, and instead included a bathroom heater which I did want, and even reduced my final bill. He counseled me on purchasing fixtures and bulbs at Home Depot so I could get exactly what I wanted and needed. He made appropriate suggestions for things I would never have thought of--for instance a switch that turned on all my outlets at the same time, or a switch with a remote that worked from both entries to my kitchen. He asked a lot of questions. What would you like to do? What do you think about this? Where do you want your switch/outlet/track lights? I was happy to tell him.
Seatown Services says the owner doesn't have to be at home during the work, and I found that to be true. They were mindful about watching over the premises. And at one point I actually found it possible to have a nap.
I would like to congratulate Seatown Services for a job well done.
Our 20 yr old furnace quit on us right before the coldest days of the year (December 2022) and Seatown was the only company we called that had relatively quick availability (days, rather than weeks). Communication was very good throughout the process so we knew who our technician would be and when they'd arrive; the tech was really good at letting me watch his diagnostic process and explaining potential fixes. Of course it made more sense to replace the furnace, which they installed several cold days later; similar top notch service during that process, too. I'm sure we paid a premium, but it was worth it when the outside temps were in the 20s right before the holidays.

You get what you pay for - I needed a natural gas line extended to my patio in a couple of locations. Mark came by to give formulate a plan/estimate on Friday, came back Monday and got it done. Required some creative routing and some skill. He did a fantastic job, could not have asked for more. Thank you Mark & Seatown!
I've used Seatown for several plumbing, electrical and heating projects over the past 3-4 yearsand each time they've been great. Quotes are provided in a timely manner, schedulers are clear and easy to work with, often moving things up in the schedule as and when they can, and technicians show up when they say they will. The work is high quality and everything is left in a tidy state. Quotes/billing is electronic and easy to manage.
We've had extra mini splits/heat pumps, new electrical lines/outlets for appliances, and general maintenance.
I want to give a shout out to James Cash who came out most recently to work on a gas line - he had to hang around for an hour for appliance installers to do their part but was polite enough to wait, then completed the work quickly and efficiently. Thanks James!

We had an electrical panel upgrade and some other associated upgrades done on our house. I am sharing our experience with Seatown; first, the work did not pass the City of Seattle inspection and required Seatown to return and do some modifications. Second, on the scheduled day for the modifications, Seatown didn't show up in the 2 hour window (no phone call from them during that time). I waited another hour and a half and still a no-show, then I left. They called that night to say they didn't come because they were super busy that day.
And, by the way, I believe Seatown charges on the high side, as I had several bids, but went with them because my neighbors recommended them. Additionally, I had to pay half the cost 2 months in advance because they were booked out and wouldn't book me unless I paid half the amount. Maybe this is customary, I don't know. Would I use them again? no
Fantastic service! Seatown is very responsive and was able to get the work scheduled and completed within the same week upon inspection. Thank you!
I hired Seatown for a panel upgrade. My 1950's house had a 100 amp service and an ancient panel that was maxed out.
They completed the work on time, and their work passed inspection, so from that standpoint, I would have to say it was a success. There were a number of things about the work they did that I am not happy with, however, and an issue with a very unprofessional interaction with one of their electricians that I'd like to talk about.
The new panel was installed in a different location than the original. It needed to be hung on a sheetrock wall, and I assumed they would just attache a plywood panel to the wall, then screw the panel to the plywood. Instead, they chose to attach 2x4s to the wall and hung the panel between them. The workmanship was unbelievable bad- they hacked up the wall with a sawzall, then screwed the 2x4s in place, splitting them in the process. I realize that electricians are not carpenters, but the quality of the workmanship was embarrassingly bad, and completely unnecessary. Additionally, by placing the panel between 2x4s, they blocked access to the knockouts on the sides of the panel, reducing the options available to me for expansion later.
The breakers that were installed were CFCI and AFCI, as required by code. These particular breakers have a 'pigtail' that connects to the neutral bar in the panel. For some reason (laziness would be my guess), they connected these pigtails to the neutral bar below the breakers, and in doing so, once again severely limited the ability to add circuits later on. See the picture below.
For some reason, they took all the old breakers with them when they left. I had tried to find replacements for some of these prior to the panel upgrade, so I know they have some value. I didn't give them permission to remove my personal property, and as far as I'm concerned, this was theft.
The last thing I want to talk about is the callback we had to do. A few weeks after the panel install, we realized that the doorbell wasn't working anymore. It turned out they didn't move the transformer from the old panel to the new. They sent 2 people out, and they came to the house when I was at work, so my fiancee had to deal with them. She took them down to the basement, and they stood around for a while and behaved in a manner that made my fiancee extremely uncomfortable. She went back upstairs, and they spent another 20 minutes in the basement, presumably moving the transformer. When they finished, my fiancee asked what they fixed, and they lied to her and told her they hadn't done anything. Yet, suddenly the doorbell worked. I really have no idea why they decided they needed to gaslight my fiancee, maybe they have a corporate policy agains admitting mistakes? In any case, they were incredibly unprofessional.
I had the pleasure working with Mark very knowledgeable and nice guy !.
I would refer Mark with Seatown plumbing, electric and gas to all my family and friends . Great company !.

I had them come out to troubleshoot and do basic maintenance on our recently purchased home's HVAC system. Vince was incredibly knowledgable and diligent. He explained everything and our options incredibly well and did excellent work.
I rarely leave Yelp reviews. We've been working with many service visits over the last couple of months as we move into our home. These guys stood out as a cut above the rest. I highly recommend them.
Brian is excellent. He analyzed the system and solved the furnace problem. He is very professional and courteous. GREAT JOB ... THANK YOU BRIAN

I called them to check out our Navien tankless hot water heater and, separately, our HVAC system. The hot water heater was working fine, but the HVAC was making a loud noise when the compressor turns off. They told me there would be different techs coming out for the hot water heater versus the HVAC.
A plumber and his new apprentice showed up to do the preventative maintenance on the tankless hot water heater. They were courteous and knowledgeable. Took 1 hour and 20 minutes and required some cleaning solution which was probably not much more than vinegar. No parts. Got a bill for $764!
I paid the bill because I thought the HVAC guys would be showing up next and surely the $764 bill covered them as well. Nobody else showed up, and on more careful reading of the bill I paid after the hot water heater service I realized nothing about HVAC was mentioned.
I called Sea Town to check, and was told that $768 is the normal charge for a 1 hr 20 minute tankless Navien hot water heater flush with no parts required. This is insane..... (check YouTube to see what's involved)
I cannot recommend Sea Town

We hired this company to install an EV charger in our garage. They were perfect in every way! We will be using them as our electrician going forward!
We have radiant floors. Our water heaters broke and they came out quickly to install new ones. Hence they get 2 stars for that.
They get another star for getting part of it right. The heating works on most of our house.
They lose a star for somehow causing our master bedroom to continually heat despite turning the thermostat all the way down. I am not looking forward to the summer. We'll have to sleep in the spare bedroom.
Which leads me to the loss of the other star: they refuse to make it right. They just can't do it. They are unable.
So...we paid $7700 and now we have to find another plumbing company to fix it and pay more $$$. Not a happy customer.
Seatown came up in a search on Angi/HomeAdvisor and I called them for an estimate after seeing one of their trucks parked at a neighbor's house. Our experience with them to upgrade our electrical panel and add a new circuit for our microwave/range hood was excellent. Matt R did the estimate and provided me with quotes on the spot. Brooke, the project coordinator, was very helpful in answering my questions about the estimate and financing. I was expecting to wait a couple of weeks after I accepted one of the estimates to get on their schedule, but they were able to get us in within a couple of days. They scheduled the work for a day and a half. Brandon and Jordan, two journeyman electricians, came out at about 8:00 am, and were able to do all the work within one work day. They were very professional, thorough, and kept the areas they worked in clean. The new panel was bigger than our old one. While drywall repair is not included in their service, we just have a small hole that we can easily fix. Brandon was able to give us another estimate for additional work that needed to be done to get some appliances installed up to code. We know we will have other work done in our old house down the road, and we will definitely be calling Seatown again. Highly recommend.

We were having some issues with our septic tank. A few weeks ago we had an emergency service from another company to have it pumped and inspected after some back up into our showers, toilet gurgling and clogging, etc. Fast forward to yesterday now the tub wouldn't drain and the toilets started to gurgle again. Seatown came out next day and found that the previous company didn't even fully inspect the tank and basically completed the work the other service should have. We are new home owners and learning about our septic tank... They were informative and clearly take the work serious as they were not going to cut any corners like the previous company did. The other company only dug up two of the lids and left the third covered and didn't tell as anything about it. Thanks Seatown for your honest work!
Last October our home suddenly became super humid. Even the cats were getting frizzy hair- SO HUMID. Within just a week of this, our inner doors would no longer close in the frames. This includes the bathroom doors, so of course the dog and cats pushed them open rudely, and no one could poop in peace. Our hardwood floor warped, like imagine ocean waves made of oak. We then saw black mold creeping up and down the walls out of outlets, similar to the Conjuring movies.
I freaked out. Omg we have a flood under the house or a demon. I imagined the worst (a flood, I can handle the demon). Anxiety off the charts.
I called my trusty ole' insurance agent Chris Jones of State Farm, and like a good neighbor, he was there for me at 10pm, on his cell at home, Friday night, new baby, walking me through it step by step.
Chris Jones referred Seatown, hands down. We first hired an inspector, and he confirmed that under our house in the worlds tiniest crawl space, it was a
Roman sauna going on. He could hear the leak, but couldn't reach it because it was too tight to move. He also said call Seatown ASAP.
First time homeowners here, we just trusted the professionals.
Seatown it is.
Seatown's customer service agent was extremely professional and nice. She was able to send plumbers out quickly. She made me feel confident in choosing them by explaining everything they'll do for us in a reassuring calm manner. My anxiety lowered drastically.
The plumbers came out, one crawled down into the pit of hell, and he found the leak. It was the hot water pipe almost right under the hot water heater. (You should see our water bill for October!!) Only problem was....he was too big to reach it.
CSA contacted me with a new date to get their smallest guys out, which was if I remember correct, a week or two after this date. We were able to move it up and I was panicking because now we had NO HOT WATER since we had to turn it off. I can't go without a shower that long.
So the new guys come out I believe about a week later, and he crawls under the house. He comes out. In the course of 5 minutes he mentioned THREE TIMES that he's 6' 3 and 230lbs and no way can he get in there. When we told him this was the RESCHEDULE to get a tiny guy out, he told us that they only send who's available, and they can TRY to get someone smaller. Then be informed me it will be $250 for that visit. Excuse me what did you say to me? Yup. $250 for their mistake. All he did was come out and say he couldn't do the job!
But yet, they were both super nice and professional!! I absolutely believe they were just doing the job as they are instructed to do by the company. This is something the company should provide more insight to their plumbers on how to handle these situations that are not the customers fault.
So I emailed the CSR and explained all of it. I was given back the $250 to apply to the total quote, or I could have had it as a credit for another service offered. Again, very professional.
We finally got the smaller guy out. He actually wasn't THAT small. We had doubts. Like, place your bets doubts. This dude squeezed under the house in a 2' x 3 1/2' crawlspace entrance and for about 15 minutes we could hear him weaseling around underneath our feet. Long enough for us to start thinking he was part snake. When he returned to daylight he handed my husband a piece of copper pipe with a tiny hole in it, and said that was the problem. He had fixed the leak, and we were delighted.
Then, he went further to prevent me from downing Xanax over this entire mess of a house. He said all the insulation is dry. The leak fortunately was going straight down into the dirt under the house. Leave the crawl space open for a couple weeks, it's cold outside, and nature should take care of it. He said run a couple dehumidifiers in the house. We already have 2 large dehumidifiers we bought when it got humid so we were good to go.
Not even joking about this next part. Within a month the doors all suddenly fit into the frame, when they were 1/2 off before. Then, the hardwood floors smoothed out like nothing ever happened!!
We thought we were going to have to spend at least 20k to fix all this and it was only 800-something from Seatown!! A lot of people here complaining they are expensive. Folks YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. And, with them, we got experts and professionalism all the way. They have our business as long as we own this house.

I woke up with a big hole in my exhaust pipe connecting to my furnace and was pretty worried. I called a number on a sticker on my furnace and they said someone will call me back ( no one ever did) in fact I called 6 different companies and Seatown answered the phone and came out right away. Our technician was Sean and he was fantastic! He diagnosed the problem quickly and even checked our crawl space to ensure there was no more damage. He replaced the pipe same day and left me at peace with what had happened. From start to finish, Seatown took great care of us!
Seatown Electric did a partial rewire of my old 1920s home, replacing all the remaining knob and tube with new wiring. They also installed a new panel and sorted out a truly astounding number of wires in the basement. Tyler and Owen were friendly, punctual, and did a great job with the work and keeping the disruptions to our lives as small as possible. They were able to answer all of the questions I had and left our house in good condition, despite the many holes that were needed to get at the wiring. Would recommend! Also a shoutout to the helpers on our 8 day project, Hayden, Jordan, and Cole. All of them were amazing and did a thorough job.
I had a new, high efficiency electric HVAC system installed. After getting the three bids, they were all relatively within the same ballpark. I asked them to comp decommissioning of the radiant system to which they agreed. It was 4 months before they could get me on the calendar for a two day project. I'm not going to lie, the first HVAC crew who came out was not up-to par for the price. The electrician was great though! They left after two days (at 10pm) and the job was not done but the system was working. The system itself is amazing and I'm so happy I did it...no buyers remorse. Today they sent a new crew out. Without me even saying anything they told me the job was not up to Seatown standards and spent 6 hours reworking the system. It would have been nice if it had been done correct the first time but they made it right and without me saying a thing! (I had planned to write an ok review prior to today.). Thank you Seatown! I'm very pleased with the system! Now I will be toasty in the winter, cool in summer and not have to worry about the wildfire smoke we've had the last several years getting in my house and lungs!

Seatown was extremely thorough creating their quote for us and answered all my follow up questions promptly, directly and clearly. It's clear this company prides themselves on high quality service! You'll get the full treatment going with Seatown and can rest easy knowing work will be done right.
Lost a star because they are literally the most expensive out there. But, not only am I pleased with the work they've done (mini split and replace my electrical panel), but their follow up visits have been just as stellar.
I come back because of the quality of workmanship and customer service. I hesitate because of the price.
Adrian and Jeremy are great HIRED them for my 2 shower/tub units and 1 stand in shower remodel and they did amazing. They were very good at communicating what needed to be done and what was wrong with the new units prior to installation which I appreciated. The job took 3 days with demo and new install and I would definitely hire them again for any of my plumbing needs. Overall a great company and staff thank you guys for everything
Kyle and his team came out and did an amazing job upgrading the wiring in our basement and installing a new electrical panel. They were also able to troubleshoot a few things around our house (almost 100 years old). I'm sure they will be back as we continue to make more updates to our house.
This company came out to investigate electrical problems that had surfaced during a basement renovation. Bad news was we needed a new electrical panel, good news was we could avoid (mostly) having to rewire the entire house. The sales person gave us several options, explained the pros and cons. Seatown also prepares their people with tools to help customers find financing. It was a smooth and friendly process. They guarantee their work. And when construction surfaced additional problems, Seatown sent a technician back out to troubleshoot the issues and fix the problem. I did have to pay a service fee, but they fairly assessed the situation and didn't charge me as much as they could have. They even fixed my doorbell, though it wasn't part of my request! Great folks.
Used Seatown to pull a couple circuits for me on a small bathroom project I was working on. Got in touch with me right away and had me scheduled within a couple weeks.
Recommended them to my customer for a new heat pump and furnace, came out in a week for a proposal and scheduled installation two weeks later. Very happy with level of professionalism and quality of work.
My 20+ yr old water heater sending a stream of water thru my garage. I called Seatown based on a referral from Puget Sound Energy and their good reviews on Angi's List. Scheduled the appointment easily over the phone. Communication was smooth & easy. Received a text 2 hrs before arrival and then 30 minutes out. It included a photo & short bio of the plumber which I thought was a nice touch, both for safety reasons & just 'cause it's nice to treat your staff like they're not anonymous drones. Chris & apprentice Jeffrey arrived promptly. Gave me clear info on options & prices, I approved the bid and they set to work installing a new 50 gal, natural gas powered Bradford White tank storage water heater, 10 yr warranty. The team was efficient, thorough and personable. Went above & beyond, re-routing a water line and repairing a janky exhaust vent that they thought the city inspector might not like & even used my shop vac to clear the cobwebs from the space before installing the new tank. Chris explained maintenance requirements as well as how to read the control panel & use emergency shut offs. Seatown took care of city permits (my city requires one) which I appreciated. Work was begun around 11 & I had hot water by 3:30. Payment was due upon completion and I got a senior discount. Price was competitive with other companies'. They hauled away the old tank and all packing materials and left a very clean worksite. All in all, a good product, well delivered.
we were having a problem with a faulty light switch. I had no idea of which electrical contractor to use and absolutely thrilled I settled on Seatown. They are absolutely the best. Professional and friendly at the same time. Everything went just as was explained to me from scheduling the appointment to completion of the job. It became much more intensive than we had originally called on but so glad technicians pointed out numerous safety issues in our home and now we're up to code. There was no pressure on their part to perform the work...just wanted us to be safe. True friends indeed. We had a small problem a week or so later and the same technician came out and took care of it at no cost to us. I'll never use anyone else but Seatown in the future!!

unfortunately if I could give lower than one star I would in this particular case it's beyond disappointing that they can't seem to follow their own processes.
I had actually had them come out multiple times for different bodies of work over half of those times they weren't able to actually do much of anything for me and still charge me the full price for the visit.
for the few times where they were actually able to do something I trust that they would have good customer service and be able to follow through.
on the morning of two appointments that were scheduled to have maintenance for my hot water heater and then also to check on an electrical connection I was told that they weren't able to work on my building because of how tall it was I understand that every single business reserves the right to follow through with its own guidance and rules and insurance.
I had made the appointment weeks in advance and it wasn't until people actually showed up at my house that I was told that they weren't able to work on it.
After calling and talking to the new customer service rep who I appreciate she was trying to do all that she could- I eventually ended up speaking with Management who offered me $100. I feel like this offer of $100 was basically so that I would not share reviews sharing my experience with the public. I make it to practice not to write negative reviews but to be able to resolve issues with the company whenever possible.
AND - the manager tried to blame the customer service representative. Instead of owning it.
poor management.
Unfortunately we're going to have to agree to disagree in this case I would never ever ever ever recommend this company to anybody Dr. save your time and don't bother
James Cash from Seatown has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Allied with a great work ethic, James has something that can sometimes be in short supply among the technically competent: creative thinking. He understands how a whole house system connects -- in my case, how the gas and water supplies can leave a lot of loose ends. There were no loose ends when James finished the job. He completes the job and does it in good time, all with charm and professionalism. Highly recommended.
We needed run a line to our gas stove and to our outdoor BBQ grill. And these guys from Seatown are amazing
they came and got the job done!
Our Tech James Cash and Mark Poore is awesome! and 100% professional.
We had schedule other appointments with other companies to come out and give us some bids but always cancel at last minute after we waited all day to come and no show.
But Seatown electric they come when they say they are coming and always text and let you know they are on their way.
Apparently the online appointment through their website is bunk. I scheduled an appointment and received an email that someone would be calling to confirm the appointment. After a couple of hours, I called and was told that the online booking service is just a suggestion and that their schedule is fluid. They said that their appointments are one week out. A couple of hours later, I received a confirmation via email and text that my appointment was scheduled for that day. Of course, it was not. I don't trust a service that has false advertisement for their service.
Changing to 5 stars. Using my bathroom is fine for number 1s. But dude ... wow ... the bathroom was unusable for a little while in this case. Again, I get that sometimes when you have to go you have to go. But damn dude ... WOW.

I've had a great experience with the booking line, and had a quote appointment with the gas service where they discovered the problem was a very easy fix and got it done for me right away! I also love that they provide so many services. I have an electric and an AC installation quote Appt coming up!
Seatown recently came to my rescue. As the temperatures are dropping we needed our mini split units to work. They turn on but do not warm up enough or cool down. My home warranty could not find anyone to come and do the repairs so they authorized me to call someone and will reimbursed me for the cost. Michael Perez was the tech who came and diagnosed the problem. I was impressed as to how professional he was, he wore his mask the whole time which gave me a sense of security, he also wore shoe protectors and these little details really matters to customers. My HVAC repairs were done on a timely fashion and i am one satisfied customer. Thank you Seatown.
Sad to be writing this review. The technician that came out was amazing. Mark was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. But the quote he gave me had this $585 line item that was for set up and piping from existing gas line. Well the first line item is supply and install all necessary gas piping and fittings. The second line item is remove existing gas pipe. So what is this third item for?? The total of the first two items was LESS than this third item. Unfortunately Mark didn't have the authority to do anything here. Because the owner, Brandon, had come out to our home last fall, I wanted to contact him directly. As the owner, I would assume he's the one who has the authority to explain, reduce, or take out this weird line item. So I called, and I was told that I could not talk to him or leave a voicemail for him but they did give me an email, which turned out to be just a general email for the company. So I emailed and noted in the subject line that I really wanted the email to go to Brandon. I stated that I wanted to talk about this line item and see if there was something we could do. Apparently he didn't even get the email. I got a reply from a customer service rep that didn't even address the fact that I had was asking to talk to Brandon. It was a stock reply that said they would have the technician call me and explain that line item. I responded and said that they didn't even address the fact that I wanted to speak with Brandon. They then said that Brandon is the owner and he doesn't deal with customers. Really?! Wow. Not only is that a bad practice, but I explained that Brandon was out to my house last fall. So he did indeed deal with customers, at least back then. I then got a response from them saying the best they could do was to give me to a supervisor. At that point I just said no thanks. Really?
Gave Seatown Electric a call after wasting my money on another unscrupulous company. Had a broken vanity light, turns out it was a broken switch that Malik had diagnosed and fixed in a jiffy. He arrived on time, was courteous, knowledgeable and and just charged me for the diagnostic while replacing the light switch. High praise for Seatown Electric Heating and Air !!
Five stars so far! First and foremost, THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE! My parents have pipes bursting all over under their house and had called 5 different plumbers to no avail. So I took matters in to my own hands and the first place I called was Seatown! I spoke to the greatest lady and connected her with my mom. She contacted dispatch and we have Joe coming out in a few hours to hopefully fix the problem. Thank you for answering the phone and accommodating us!
I will leave another review once all is said and done about our experience with Seatown. So far, so good!
We had a great experience beginning with Jake's thorough assessment of our current situation before providing an estimate. The electricians assigned to our project, Angelo and Owen, arrived promptly, worked efficiently, helped problem-solve tangential issues not directly in their scope of work, and made sure the job was done right. Communication with Seatown throughout has been timely and positive, and we will recommend them to family and friends.
Very unresponsive, disinterested and seemed bothered by my call inquiring about A/C installation.
I thought perhaps after the summer rush (it's almost October) they'd have at least given me a little consideration.
We are moving on in our quest to find a reputable, communicative A/C contractor.
Very disappointing coming from a company that touts themselves on KIRO radio.

Very competitive pricing and I liked their business model - hiring and training for the long term and being respectful of their employees lives. Showed up on time and were done each day by 4. We were a whole house rewire and appreciated that they wanted the job done right without having time pressures. Loved their apprentice program - Lead electrician took the time to explain tasks to the apprentice and made sure they understood what to do. Great follow up with very minor issues. Have recommended often.
Brody and his partner were great. Worked efficiently explaining what they were doing as they went. They also fixed a switch that hasn't worked for 30 yrs. in my kitchen that wasn't part of the job. Work was done in a timely manner and very clean. Very happy with the work will not hesitate to use Seatown again and would recommend them to others.

Edit: Updated from 3 to 5 stars. After I posted my original review, the manager at Seatown (Brian) immediately reached out to discuss. He offered to have the drywall fixed by a third-party vendor they use. Arturo was able to schedule us in pretty quickly and stopped by today. (Just a side note, even he was surprised to see the amount of damage and what was done.) Anyway, he did a great job and made the area look nice again. Seatown has a reputation for excellent service for a reason and they proved they stand by it, offering a solution and seeing it through.
Thanks Brian, for the quick response and resolution!

My sister and I just moved to a new community with all new houses. I had many consultations for A/C and while Seatown was the highest price, they won my trust and confidence during the consultation. At the time of service, one of the homes needed to have wire run through to the other side of th house, the electrician on site said the best place was in the pantry. He said it would be a small incision in the wall and barely noticeable. As you can see by the attached photos, that was not the case. The Seatown rep that did the consultation said he was working with their manager for a resolution, but it's been almost two months now since installation. We have decided to just pay to have it repaired ourselves.
Seatown is actually a great company and I think they do quality work. I would give them a higher rating had it not been for this incident which again is coming out of our pocket. This is not a small incision or barely visible and I have no idea why they put on blue wall tape to cover up another hole. These are brand new home and is really not acceptable in any case.
Coming into a 110+ year old home, there was a laundry list of items to handle: electrical panel upgrade, new sockets and adding smart switches, replacing garbage disposal and fixing drain clog, installing new lighting and changing light fixture locations, installing ductless HVAC... Seatown has been here to help us with it all.
Bids are competitive and the scheduling coordinator has been helpful with lining up all our appointments in proper order. The electrical crew in particular was helpful in correcting some DIY issues we inherited with the home at no extra charge. Jeremy has been our champion with ensuring everything is up to code and looks good in the end, which gives us confidence in our place lasting another century. If you want quality work and professional care, go with Seatown.
Ryan is a great professional electrician. He is honest, responsible and smart too. I'm appreciated to all his work. Thank you again.

Mark and the entire team from SeaTown Plumbing were fantastic. They replaced an outdoor gas line for me and the entire experience from diagnosing the problem to estimates to scheduling and actual work was top notch. I had several gas plumbers come out to quote on the job but I found SeaTown to not only be fairly priced but also the most honest in terms of diagnosing the problem and providing repair v/s replace options. Even though Seatown wasn't the lowest quote I got (although it was half what Done Right quoted) I was eventually sold because Mark who came out to assess the project came across as honest and friendly.
The team was very helpful with scheduling and even offered me an earlier spot when one opened up. Shout out to Kaycee and everyone in the office for making it work. On the day of install, Mark was right on time and was very diligent with his work. He put in time and effort the way only someone who takes pride in their work would. He made sure all of our other appliances came back on after the gas was reconnected.
I couldn't recommend these guys more. Top notch local company. Good luck to you all and your business.

I had my AC installed almost a month ago. They removed drywall which has been an eye sore. I call every week and all I get is city needs a permit to inspect prior to patching. Have a large hole in my wall and get zero correspondence from them unless I initiate. The installation staff was friendly but the lack of communication has been disappointing! Busy or not, keep your customers notified and communicate!
We hired this company because our neighbors and some friends have used them in the past. We did our entire kitchen remodel by ourselves, except the electric(which we figured the professionals would do correctly). We certainly got the rotten eggs of the bunch. Kody and Curtis were inexperienced. They didn't bother to look at simple drawings I provided, they made esthetic choices on their own even after asking us our preferences, they hooked the oven up to the wrong voltage circuit, they didn't put the right kind of safety outlet under the sink for the dishwasher, they left a huge mess in our attic, garage, and left metal pieces and wire in the living room (where our children play). When we complained about these things, their salesman, said, our workers wouldn't do this and totally brushed us off. It wasn't until the field manager, Blake, came after many things were too late to fix that Seatown started to believe that we were telling the truth. Eventually (after begging and crying), after damage was done to our drywall multiple times, after our brand new countertops were marked up by grease, and the outlets in our kitchen were all out at different heights (each wall the outlets vary by 1/4-1/2, for our perfectionist brains this is super hard!) Blake came to fix things. He got it all sorted out (except the outlet heights as it was too late). He even found that Kody and Curtis somehow messed with our sump pump (glad he caught that, it could have been a disaster). The company did give us $1500 as a refund, but it was a nightmare, especially after spending $7000 and having to hold their hands through the whole thing in order to get it to even resemble what we actually wanted. We will not be using this company again. We will go with Greenwood Heating and Electric next time!!!
I spent quite a bit of time over the past four months contacting electrical contractors to upgrade my service, meter and panel, increasing my very old, very spacious West Seattle house from 100-amp service to 320/400-amp service.
Seatown's Matt Ryder had helped us out when we first moved in, somehow squeezing in a complete K&T re-wire just a few weeks after we closed--something that no other contractor could schedule--it was urgent, there were some dangerous things the previous owner hadn't bothered to fix. So Seatown was definitely in the mix, but with no pressing deadline this time, I thought I would try to get a few more bids.
You know what? Of the dozen or so electrical contractors I called or emailed, only three responded (not counting Seatown). One ghosted me after we had a handshake agreement and timeline. Another told me I had to navigate Seattle City Light to see if my service could be upgraded beyond 200-amps (I think I needed to get an answer from my neighborhood's ESR? Not sure, but the ESR never replied to me). A third gave me an estimate that was so low that I couldn't take him seriously (he didn't estimate the cost of a new service line into the house nor for installation of a new meter).
Matt Ryder @ Seatown was the only one who took my ask seriously. He'd already been to my house a year ago and had retained copious notes & photos. He helped me understand that while 320-amp service might be enough for our long-term plans, the cost difference to 400-amp was less than 10% of the project. Besides, Seattle City Light would still be running 400-amp service line, so... yeah, why not just get the bigger meter and panels? We discussed whether I needed to replace my existing pair of modern-ish but cheap-ish 100-amp panels and realized I could save a little bit of money there--in fact, the savings by doing that was the 10% diff for getting 400-amp services rather than 320-amps.
There's an old adage: speed, quality, price: pick one. In this current environment, when contractors can pick and choose which customers they want to work with, I think it's more shows up, quality, price: pick one. I know Seatown is a premium service provider. Maybe I could've saved $1k-$2k on this $20k project if I had contacted dozens more contractors, found another one that would show up? Then again maybe not. But in this environment, my pick one is shows up, and Matt & Seatown have always shown up for me.
Plus, having worked with Seatown before on a major project, I know I'm going to get quality too. That's two! When does that ever happen?
Work is scheduled for two-and-a-half months from now (yup, that's how the world is--the other contractors that responded all said they were booked for months as well). I'll share more about the results of the work then.

I have a mini-split system that is likely leaking refrigerant. I've used Seatown in the past for their gas services, so I gave them a call since they advertise as having free estimates. I was told it would be $280 to have a technician come out and run a diagnostic check. Doesn't sound like a free estimate to me. I also already had a diagnostic check performed by another company, so I already know the issue. We have to run our own diagnostic check...Ok thats fine, then why do you advertise all over your website free-estimates? When I asked this question, I was laughed at over the phone by customer service rep. I'll also add in that their diagnostic check is 60%+ higher than comparable businesses in the area..
So happy with Seatown! They are the perfect example of you get what you pay for! We recently purchased a home with a very old water heater that needed to be replaced. Blaine explained all of our options and we ended up choosing a tankless water heater. Blaine was super communicative and coordinated with our roofing company so that we'd be all set and I didn't have to try to translate what was needed. On the day of the installation, Adrian & Jeremy arrived on time and were super friendly, hard working, efficient & polite. We are going to be using Seatown for a lot of future projects and so relieved that the first project went so smoothly!

Excellent, efficient and knowledgeable employees! First time using this company and we made a good choice to go with them! We had to replace our main water shutoff valve. We had a PVC ball valve and now have copper and brass fittings.
This has been a terrible experience - a YEAR long saga that still has no end in sight. We had our house rewired last summer by Seatown (just purchased and the house had knob and tube). It took longer than expected and the electricians stayed late one evening. At the end of his scheduled time on the project, he told us that he didn't have time to label the box or add a new outlet in a hallway and he'd do it later when the inspection happens.
We called several times over the course of a YEAR. No inspection was ever scheduled and no completion of the projection was done. In May this year, 11 months after the initial work was done, an inspection was scheduled. The electrician showed up and labeled the electrical box as he said it was required for inspection, great last guy told us that so glad to have that finally done. Day 2, actual inspection day - they tell us the inspector never called them. However, looking at the permit notes from the city - the inspector called several times and no one answered. So failed inspection.
Second attempt, another inspection scheduled 3 weeks later. Inspector calls, sees drywall on the wall and decides this is new construction (we had added insulation to our garage due to freezing kitchen floor over the winter). Says there needs to be more outlets in garage. She hangs up, failed inspection #2. Now we are told to remove all drywall we added and building inspector sent to our house, he sees it's literally just insulation in a garage with raw drywall - agrees no building permit needed.
We call Seatown for DAYS and finally they schedule another inspection (as now we have drywall filling our kids hallway a hazard to move around the house). Inspector calls, asks to see the additional outlet she required. They didn't add one, so she hangs up. Failed inspection #3.
Now we are stuck - one week later and Seatown tells us they can't have an electrician come out and add the outlet in the garage (and the outlet they originally missed in the hallway) until 2 weeks from now. Add to that the additional time to schedule another inspection (attempt #4).
Can't say how incredibly frustrated and disappointed we are at this point with Seatown and their constant pointing fingers at an electrician who apparently left the company. Seriously, fix the problems your employees caused and don't leave us stuck in limbo for over 2 months now with no end in sight and after trying to get this inspection done for a YEAR (fyi - an extension fee had to be paid since the original permit has expired). Ridiculous!

I needed a quote for couple of yard faucets to be replaced and they wanted to charge me over $40 to come onsite and give me a quote. I offered them to share photos and there's nothing else they could discover outside the photos as the faucets are on the wall and very typical frost free bibbs. They refused to accommodate and provide a free quote. Never seen this before! Any professional plumber should be able to look at this photo and tell me what it takes to replace it. She did not provide any reasons why they wouldn't do that other than that's how they work

I really wanted to do business with Seatown and like them because we had three independent recommendations to use them. We are buying a house that has a laundry list of items to address that came from the home inspection. I was drawn to Seatown because they could potentially knock off problem areas in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
When I asked about getting an estimate I was told 1) they charge $250 non-owner fee to provide an estimate of a house we haven't closed on yet, 2) $289 diagnostic fee for electrical work, 3) $89 dispatch fee for the hot water heater, 4) $189 dispatch fee for the furnace.
They said they would generously only charge a single non-owner fee for estimating all three types of work where it sounds like the normal policy is to charge that for each type. However we were up to $817 merely to come out, assess what needed to be done, and write me up a quote. I get it, their time is valuable and there is a risk that not every quote will lead to a job. But the unwillingness to even credit future work for the cost of the diagnostic and other fees they charge to put together estimates was the nail in the coffin. I just can't bring myself to spend over $800 with nothing to show for it but a quote, no matter how amazing the reviews are.

We did a major remodel this past spring. And summer. And fall. It was a BIG job. We had Seatown do a whole new HVAC system, got the AC unit at the end of August, so only got to use it a little, but it is REALLY nice. There was also a bit of plumbing, and that went very well, too. All of the work looks great, does what it is supposed to, and all of the guys were nice, courteous and hard working.
Then there is the electrical. Carumba, we went nuts. Lutron Smart switches all over the place, new lighting, new outlets, just everything, everywhere, all at once. It took several visits, as we had to work around other contractors, but these guys were always on top of it . There were many faces who helped out, but it was Junior who took the lead on our job, and he was seriously invested in making it all perfect, even in our imperfect house! Now, our lights are all programmable, and everything works, every time. We were so happy to finally be finished with the whole project, and Junior was there for some of the very last days, and we were actually a little sad to see him go. Just a nice guy, great attention to detail, super responsive to calls and texts from my freakin' out self, and, at the end, he was, I believe, really excited with what we had done. Probably not the cheapest option, but the quality will shine years.

Seatown Quoted me $900 to replace a toilet flange.
This quote only stands out cause I managed to receive quotes from other businesses ranging from $300-$550.
If you are searching for a plumbing service I'd highly recommend doing some research before shopping around for service providers.
Please avoid this company, the business model is just too expensive and almost like a scam. I was charged for $54(tax included) for just making an appointment which is fair I thought. When I asked about the estimate cost, I was told that the technician will give me an estimate when he's on site. And then I was told they'll inform me the arrival time ahead of time the day before which didn't happen. Finally, the technician arrived and he just asks some questions and then told me he'll charge me $450 plus tax per hour just trying to find the problem. The problem is he is not guaranteed to find the problem nor fix it, the only thing he can promise is that he will charge me another $450 plus tax if he spends more than 1 hour trying to find the problem. No thanks! I spent $54 to learn to avoid this company and it's services.
One final note is that when I complained to the company about they failed to inform me the arrival time or the estimate cost is not what they promised, the customer service can just tell me that it's a mistake from the other customer service and they'll inform the manager. Using this method, they can just tell you something on the phone to get your business first and do another thing once they get your business.
I had a good experience with Seatown Electric and would recommend them to others. I recently moved into my home on Mercer Island. As I was unpacking my garage, I came to the realization I needed two additional outlets on dedicated circuits in my garage (for beer brewing). I would be unable to complete my unpacking until these outlets were in place because I anticipated the electrician would not be able to route the wires with heavy loaded shelves up against the wall. Considering I had taken vacation from work for my move with the goal of being unpacked before returning to the office, time was of the essence. I reached out to just about every electrician I could find on Yelp and Seatown was the only company that was able to give an estimate and do the work on the same day only a few days after I reached out.
I had two dedicated 20 amp outlets installed about 20' from the panel on the same wall. The job was straight forward and still a bit pricey, but I'm happy with the work and the tech who did the work was very friendly and highly competent. I would hire Seatown Electric again.
Seatown installed a gas line in our house from the downstairs furnace to the upstairs kitchen. They were friendly, professional, communicative and affordable. Highly recommend.
I had a great experience with Seatown Plumbing! Blaine was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When I scheduled a repair Blaine was back with another great colleague, Beau, who was also super nice and knowledgeable. They were both professional and made sure to take the time to answer all of my questions. They arrived within the 2 hour window as promised and the work performed was timely and looked great afterward. Also, the scheduling agent, Sarah, was an excellent communicator. She informed and reminded me via texts through the whole process and was very helpful when I needed to reschedule. I will definitely call on Seatown for future needs, as well as refer others to this great business!

Great communicatin and service. Jake and Sam in plumbing and Thomas in Electric did excellent work. Would definitely recommend. I
Seatown was excellent. Their team is professional and fast. We had a small remodel and used them to clean up the electrical. Time was limited and they came out the same day and got the work done within a few days. I'd absolutely use them again.
I contacted SeaTown electric to come out and give me a quote to replace my ceiling fan. I have also received quotes from two others that came in around $300 to have this completed. My home is only 10 years old, so it's likely the light box is up to code.. and the ceiling fan I have now already has a light. SeaTown quoted me $645 to replace the fan. SAY WHAT?! Did my technician smoke something before drafting up that quote?!
To put it in to perspective how ridiculous that price is.. I paid $525 when my dog got sick and I had to take him to the vet.. which included overnight IV, antibiotics, prescription dog food, etc. But this place wants $645 to connect some wires to a new ceiling fan?? It really just made me laugh. He tried to say that they have everything they need supplied in the van, so it allows them to complete the job right then. Ok... so I'm paying a premium for you to have your supplies?!
If you need work done, get several quotes from different companies.. but I have a feeling you'd be wasting your time getting a quote from these guys. I ended up going with a guy I found on Thumbtack that replaced it in an hour for $100, and he had a ton of good reviews.
Pipes froze and then the basement flooded. So a couple of days after Christmas. There was snow, roads icy. They showed up the next morning, were quick and efficient and now we have running hot water again. Yay!

Caveat: I never hired them. I received 4 quotes to repipe my house. Their estimate was more than $10,000 more than the next closest bid. The estimator also never looked at the pipes in the crawl space--just counted bathrooms, which could have been done over the phone.
10 stars. Can't recommend these guys enough. Had a clogged drain and Cody came out to fix it. Super professional and friendly guy - felt like I was back in the Midwest.
Got an estimate to turn into my landlord for further maintenance. Got it done quickly, he cleaned the entire tub up after getting out all the nasty.
On top of that it was world class customer service from the beginning to end with their office staff, responding on Yelp, automated updates and then Cody's winning attitude being the cherry on top. I can't begin to recommend these guys enough.
If you're sick of aloof Seattle malcontents pissed at the world for having to work you can forget about it with these guys. Easily one of the best customer service experiences I've had from any business in the area in the last 5 years. Way to go Cody & the whole team!
(In case you're wondering, no I don't know them, 1st experience with the company and I don't pull punches, look at any of my other reviews)

Quinn came out and installed a new tankless water heater for us - he was very professional and friendly, and explained a lot of things along the way. The installed heater worked right away, and seems like a high end unit. Pricing was competitive also.

Called them for AC addition to forced air furnace. Waited more than 6 weeks for appointment. Upon arrival, without looking at anything but furnace, wanted to sell me new furnace and air. Furnace 12 years old, and estimator said they only last 15 so better to replace. Within the next 15 minutes made more m ex notions of packaging new furnace with AC. When I said I am not interested in replacing the furnace, they handed me card and said they couldn't do it and said call if I change my mind! Crazy. The furnace is high end installed 12 years ago! Have since received quotes from other companies to install AC with existing furnace.
I have used Seatown for both electrical and plumbing work.
The electric work involved a new panel and some rewiring along with troubleshooting a circuit breaker that kept popping. All of the work was done above expectations and the work it took to figure out the problematic C/B took some real investigative work but was successful.
The plumbing folks were involved with the remodeling of a guest bath. Their work was similarly superb and they even troubleshooted an issue with my hot water tank that was not on their schedule.
I cannot say enough good things about the company and the people they have working for them!
You get what you pay for... Yes Seatown is a bit more expensive for furnace tune-ups, but I found them to be worth the cost due to their quality of service. I am writing this review for 2 reasons: 1st) the call center was very responsive and kept me updated in realtime as to the arrival and location of the technician assigned to the job. They even provided me a link to visually track him on my iPhone - that was quite a surprise. 2nd) the technician who came out to my home, Brian W., was not only personable, but happily provided me with a detailed explanation during each step he executed for the service. I learned alot from him regarding the system functionality - great for people like myself who like understanding how things work. Shortly after the service was completed I received a full color pdf in my email which summarized the results along with associated photos. Nice work if I may say so...
They advertised as providing free estimate. When I talked to them in person, they then told me about a $49 dispatch fee that they would apply to the repairs *IF* you decided to use their services for the repair after they provided you the estimate. If not, you are out that dispatch fee. I decided I could not trust this company if it started with this bait and switch. Will be looking to give the job to another company.
Seatown installed recessed ceiling lights in four of our bedrooms. They were super accommodating, gave a good price and were 100% professional. They are not available quickly - they have lots of work and a great reputation, but are absolutely worth the wait. I'm going to be getting my AC installed by Seatown this year.

I did not get service from here because I decided I no longer wanted to do an update but had an inspection session. They are very organized and on time with great customer service line, text message on the arrival time, accurate and detailed breakdown of cost and jobs needed. Very reliable and they are expanding services they offer, so I am definitely calling them in the future!! Also very reasonable price, compared to 2 other places I got estimates from :)
We had Tyler and Jaden from Seatown install recessed lighting, replace our bathroom fans, run two new circuits, and swap out and reconfigure more than half the light switches in our house with new Caseta ones. It was a pleasure working with them on this project. They were very responsive, on-time, and answered all of my questions (and there were many of them). Halfway through the project I asked about doing a few additional tasks (moving a light fixture and changing the wiring on our HVAC system). They took care of them without charging me a cent or extending the project length. They were very responsive about addressing feedback and requests for changes and did so even when there was nothing technically wrong with the original work. Based on this experience I'd happily recommend them to others looking for electrical work.

Seatown seems to do it all. I got a an appointment quickly for a water heater estimate followed by a new water heater, all within one week. Easy peasy for me! While I was at it, I had them give me a quote for replacing knob-and-tube wiring, a new panel, and an electric car charger. All the Seatown folks I talked with/who came to my home were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to continue home improvements with them.
Cody gave us outstanding service today, and is personable & friendly. Seatown has a $99 Drain Clean special and Cody applied that special across 3 drains. He fixed the problems with all 3. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Seatown to anyone needing plumbing and/or electrical services.
Thank you, Cody & Seatown Electric!

Quick update on our heat pump installation: Seatown failed electrical inspection twice and just failed HVAC inspection again for the THIRD time. They continue to work on their own schedule and not care at all about what we might need as a customer.
It's to the point where I'm kind of worried every night that my house is going to burn down. They have certainly not left me with much confidence in their abilities. Again, I really wanted to like this company...
I wasn't going to write a review for Seatown because I don't enjoy giving bad reviews, I hit a final straw discovery today. I had my home completely re-piped in March 2021. I was unhappy with the crew throughout the project. They were disrespectful of my property from the beginning and left small plumbing issues that have cropped up in the year since...like poor water pressure in my master bath sink and main bath tub. A plumber out here recently for an unrelated matter advised that the bath problem was probably due to sediment built up behind hardware which should have been addressed as part of the thousands of dollar project last March. They also left a gouge in the paint in my dining room while moving their equipment. After the were paid and left, I found that they had somehow drilled a hole from my laundry room through the outside siding on my porch. Today, while spring cleaning, I found, behind a drape, that they had also somehow drilled a hole from the laundry room through the drywall into my family room. This was the las straw and thus, this review. Neither issue was pointed out to me and I am left with repair costs for both. I could go on but I will conclude with the fact that my experience with Seatown Plumbing was my worst experience in 35 years of dealing with home maintenance. Photos of my holes in walls are attached.
My 22 year old furnace quit working after I got a tune up. I first wanted to try and repair it - rather than replace it. Difficulty with the tune up company not wanting to look at it, and having another company keep trying different parts - which got very expensive... I decided it was time to replace it. I started calling companies on Monday Nov 22nd and didn't have much luck finding anyone that would come give me a bid quickly. Most companies were giving me dates in December, more than 2 weeks later. Being that I was without heat (and no fireplace), I was getting worried. Then I called SeatTown.
Seatown had someone come out the next morning (Tuesday) and gave me 3 separate bids (based on basic, AC, and the ability to add Ac later). I let them know that afternoon I would like to move forward -and they confirmed my install THE NEXT DAY. Incredible - I had a new furnace 3 days after the initial call - AND it was the day before Thanksgiving. The install was perfect. The team lead by Andrew R was personable and professional. They went above and beyond cleaning up the area and even taking away another dead appliance for me. I wish I would have started the journey with Seatown, it would have saved me alot of money (and cold nights!) I highly recommend, and thank the folks on the phone and Andrew and his team for being fast, professional, and reliable.
Such a great experience today. I submitted a request to have an electrical issue checked. The response was much faster that I was expecting. Thomas showed up quickly, diagnosed, and fixed my issue in rapid fashion. He was super polite and genial, as well as being super knowledgeable and informative. This is the best experience I've ever had with any electrical company. They'll definitely be my first call for any related services in the future. Stellar work.

great service. the technician, Michael was really good
I would recommend them to my friends.
Be sure to get quotes from other companies!
Still waiting to hear back from them, but the initial quote they gave me was 2-3x the going rate for the job. I did the math and after parts it came out to over $500/hr for labor, per person. That's like ten times as much as I make.
Obviously I can't recommend them at that price, but at least the guy that came out was nice and friendly. Hope they get back to me soon, I'd love to hear their actual offer.
Had them come out three weeks ago for a squeaking ceiling cassette. They cleaned them and I think that was the problem. Big reason I called was to replace a broken wireless thermostat from one of the cassettes. Said they would get back to me in less that 2 days. Nothing. Called again and asked how the bid was coming. After three weeks nothing. Not very reliable. I have done my part to get service from them. Should not have to call twice. Calling a different Mitsubishi servicer.
Seatown provides excellent service and they're always punctual on timing. I had a water heater tank problem and had their HVAC team scope out the problem. Jeff was very knowledgeable on the best solution to what I assumed would be a major task (I thought we'd have to relocate the vent, but Jeff proposed a safer fix to its current venting location). We also had him quote on a vent installation for a range hood in the kitchen. He was friendly and thoughtful--clearing up his schedule for a much earlier appointment to fix our problem with the water heater over safety concerns (risk of carbon monoxide), despite the appointments being booked out by 3 weeks. He returned the following week to install the vent perfectly (looks very clean on the exterior of the house) and fixed the water tank venting to be to code. I highly recommend Seatown and their HVAC team.

Great service, excellent communications, ridiculously overpriced. Would not be my first call for next job...
We needed someone to install a new chandelier type light fixture in our dining room. I found Seatown on Yelp and contacted them based on reviews along with several others. They would not give me a quote or hourly price, but rather they scheduled a technician to come take a look for a non-refundable $49 dispatch fee (applied to service if we proceeded). They did not inform me on the phone it was non-refundable until the end of the call, after I had given them my credit card. Since we had already gone through the process of scheduling, I figured what the heck, can't be that much more expensive than competitors.
Their electrician showed up promptly as scheduled and was COVID safe and extremely friendly. However, he immediately pushed to see our panel and started trying to sell me on other services like upgrading the wiring in our ten year old home, which I frankly found somewhat offensive (and the sales effort never stopped until he left).
After taking a quick look, he quoted me $500 to install the fixture, which ultimately took less than hour. Since I was already in for $49 and he was there, I bit the bullet begrudgingly (even though I had subsequently been quoted far less by other electricians.) What really irked me was he wanted $800 for a chandelier fee to literally take the fixture out of the box, thread a couple of wires and screw in the two extenders. I did it myself in less than ten minutes while he removed the old fixture.
In retrospect, if I had taken ten more minutes before agreeing to Seatown's dispatch fee, I could have gotten an equally competent company to install the fixture for several hundred dollars less. So shame on me. But although the work and communications were great, I will be far more diligent in comparing companies and I will not contract with Seatown again.
Everyone we dealt with at SeaTown was professional and knowledgeable. We had a more complex project and ended up requesting more additions while in progress. Stephan was very good at offering options to make things as functional and cost effective as possible and was still able to finish on time. I also appreciated how much SeaTown values their employees including their apprentices. I want to give a shout-out to Brett for his positive attitude and excitement at learning. I'd be honored to have Stephen and Brett along with SeaTown take care of any of my future electrical needs!
These guys were amazing! I blew the electrical in half my house (potato in the light socket didn't work out!) and they were able to schedule a temporary solution until they could get out to upgrade my old wiring.
They showed up early, kept the area clean, kept me informed of their progress, and did great onsite despite my extra large Tibetan mastiffs that watched their every move!
I'll call these guys if I ever need electrical help in the future. Their amazing customer service, professionalism, and expertise were greatly appreciated.
Got a quote for electric and a separate quote for plumbing (gas), ended up doing a couple jobs. For all visits (quotes and jobs), they showed up on time and gave a heads up with ETA on day of and wore masks.
Overall great communication and professionalism.
The electric quote was for some miscellaneous electrical issues for my old house. The main thing they quoted me was for an electrical panel upgrade. The guy was informative and descriptive, but after comparing their prices with other quotes I got for panel upgrades, Seatown is significantly pricier so ultimately I didn't hire them for that. (They associated the higher price with better equipment, extra features like surge protection, and better warranty - not necessarily a rip-off - those are just things I don't want to spend money on.)
Then I got a quote to have a gas line installed for the gas stove I swapped out with the old electric stove. Dillon was professional and informative, popping down into the crawl space for a thorough look to give an accurate quote. He proposed a solution that other plumbers hadn't suggested, that ended up saving me money while still being safe (really appreciated that he ran the hard numbers by me in terms of how much BTU each appliance needs, how much is supplied, and how much drop there is over distances and sizes of pipes).
The price for the job ended up being one of the lowest quotes out of the quotes I got from five different companies AND he was available to do the job on the spot. That was probably the best part - other companies had me book 1-2 weeks out. In less than 2 hours, Dillon had the gas line installed and my new gas stove all plugged in and working! (Of course, I can't guarantee you'll have the same experience in terms of their availability.)
I still had to switch out the electrical outlet behind the stove, from 220v to 110v, which was a separate job, but was included in my quote! Seatown sent out a couple guys a couple weeks later (I used an extension cord meanwhile). They arrived on time and got the job done in less than an hour.
Pro: service was prompt, they were able to come by and diagnose the issue within a day. Arrival window is less, and Service person arrived on time. He was friendly.
Con: unfortunately, I was quoted a very high price (1400$) to replace inducer motor. I was considering replacing the furnace. But I got it repaired for less than half this price elsewhere.
Fantastic service! We had a heat pump and new duct work installed and Seatown delivered. All the technicians were professional and did high quality work. They communicated clearly and answered all my questions. We will absolutely be calling Seatown for anything we need in the future. Thanks!
I really can't say enough good things about Seatown Electric! My main power breaker on the outside of the house had gone bad. I had an earlier bid of over $5000 to replace it, pull permits and schedule PUD to power off/power on. I called several places who wouldn't give me a bid/estimate at all because I own a 1988 mfg home and they just don't want to touch them. When I finally got a hold of Seatown in Mukilteo, the young woman who took my call was kind, polite and compassionate! She sent Tyler Dillard, (amazing young man and human being) who came out right away and examined all the trouble - he quoted me $3,577 and I jumped on it. I have a dying kitty, Im 77 and disabled and they did all the prep work that night so they could start first thing Thursday a.m. the next day. They didn't charge extra for it being an emergency and Tyler brought his lovely apprentice Oscar to help. They had everything pulled, replaced, inspected and out the door by 2:00 p.m... they had two follow up (and not easy) things added at the last minute and I was not charged! GOD BLESS SEATOWN ELECTRIC PLUMBING HEATING & AIR!!!

Bradley is the best ! He went out of his way to make my outside heater look and work great! I would highly recommend Seatown for all of your electrician needs.
Be very careful about the dubious quoting practice of this company.
I contacted SeaTown and clearly communicated with them that I had a Rinnai tankless heater that needed maintenance, and that I also would like them to examine it to make sure everything was okay because it stopped working for a short while, though it came back working seemingly normally. They agreed and gave me a quote of $310 plus tax.
However, when their technicians came to my place, the technician quoted me $539.46 for just the maintenance which was flushing the heater, and I'd have to pay another $310 to have the heater examined. They said because it was a tankless heater, it had to be more expensive. But when I asked for their quote I'd clearly communicated that, including the brand name and model number to them.
I chose to do the flushing only, to avoid their coming-out service fee which I remember was around $200. That means they charged me 75% more than what they originally quoted, and still did not examine my heater as promised.
I am very unsatisfied with this company. And hope other potential customers be aware of their dubious practice when considering choosing them.

Yelp sent my info to them including my ZIP Code and they sent me a message to have them call to make an appointment. When I called they told me I was not in their service area. Somewhere there is a problem as it wasted my time.
Had a problem with my tankless water heater and hydronic heating system. It was a pretty complex repair, but they sent super knowledgeable staff over who were thorough in explaining the work that needed to be done and what options I had. More than anything, I appreciate that they steered me away from expensive options that they felt I didn't need -- their transparency has been really valuable. Will gladly hire Seatown again.

I had contacted Seatown because my gas water heater stopped working, I was advised by someone close to me that works with these that it was most likely the thermal coupler that needed to be replaced (unfortunately that person lives 300 miles away). Seatown sent 2 guys out, Anthony and Daniel, who seemed nice enough. I was told they thought it might be the thermal coupler too and quoted $367+tax to replace it, but instead of replacing it they told me they tested it and the unit was toast and would need to be replaced, to which I was quoted $2650 + tax for a new unit and installation. This price seemed high to me so I decided to do some research on my own. I located the hot water tank (same one as quoted) for $679+tax at Home Depot. After talking things over with my significant other we decided that we wanted a 2nd opinion. I had another person come out and take a look at it, he said the thermal coupler replacement would do the trick (he only charged $200 for all of it). He replaced the part and I now have hot water again. I would like to think that what your guys told me was because they aren't as aware of the life span that this hot water tank should have, but instead I'm left feeling like they saw me as a woman that they might be able to pull one over on. I really wanted to like Seatown, but after all of this I've decided I'll be sticking with the smaller locally owned businesses that only specialize in 1 trade.
I called Seatown to schedule a visit for an estimate. We setup the appointment and then 2 minutes later then returned my call to remind me that they charge a 50 dollar fee just to show up and give an estimate. I cancelled my appointment - if they are going to nickel and dime me on the dispatch fee for the estimate, I cannot imagine how the job would go. No thanks. Don't waste your time. Two stars cause the person who took my call was polite and courteous.

I loved the service I received from Seatown Electric! From the moment I called, to the moment I said goodbye to the technician, it was 5 star service all the way.
I bought an old farmhouse 2 months ago that the previous owners did many wrong things to, including some of the electrical installation. When the fan and outlet in my master bath quit working, I needed to get someone in to repair and also address some exterior outlet questions I had. Thankfully, they had a cancellation and I was able to get on their schedule within a day! They were great at sending text updates about my technician's arrival time. I really appreciated that.
Micah was a dream to work with. He took the proper Covid precautions, was friendly, funny, and really educated me about the electrical system and answered all of my questions - no matter how silly I thought they were. Everything was up and running again and he even fixed my old ancient doorbell! He wrote up an estimate for other work I would like to have done in the future, but never was pushy or salesy. I thoroughly enjoyed having Micah get my place up and working again.
Electricity is serious stuff - not to be skimped on- and I will definitely work with Seatown Electric on my future electrical projects and highly recommend them!

We had Seatown out for a 6 day full-house rewire, new electrical panel (200A) and service move (from back to front of house) in Dec 2021. This was the largest expense we planned for our home so we had incredibly high expectations going into it and they definitely met/exceeded them. From getting the initial quote to the final day of service they were absolutely awesome to work with.
Bradley was the primary electrician on the job and we appreciated his responsiveness to any questions/concerns we had, his honesty when we had bad ideas and how much pride he had in his work. They were all able to quickly understand how we use the house and adapt the circuits and plugs to suit our needs. Him and his crew were HUSTLING everyday they were here - it was insane how much they were able to accomplish in what felt like a short period of time.
I've already recommended this team to a few close friends because of how seriously they took the work and how easy it was to work with them.
We have a gas furnace and wanted to add on AC to our existing unit. We contacted 3 companies for bids and Seatown was the most professional, prompt, and all around pleasant group to work with. Sarah Donovan from sales always got back to me incredibly quickly and worked with our budget to get us exactly what we wanted. They had a nice promo for 0% interest financing which made it easy for us.
Once we had the work day scheduled, the guys were prompt, professional, and came through doing an amazing job for us. Shoutout to Andy Carpenter our HVAC man and Micah Brediger our electrician for being incredibly professional and all around good dudes. Andy dropped a new C wire for us so we could run a new thermostat and worked his way through an old Seattle house basement through a maze of plumbing and ducts. Micah checked out our old panel and made sure everything was on the up and up and worked with us to get the electrical wiring as tidy as possible.
10/10 all around. The guys seemed to enjoy working for the company so that says something. Highly recommend for all HVAC and electrical needs.
We had a problem with duct banging on our forced air furnace after a big remodel project. The tech found the problem - the contractor failed to remove the fiberglass insulation he stuffed in the ducts to keep debris out during the remodel. The tech pulled out a pile from the two return air ducts under the floor and this eliminated the noise and got the duct pressure readings on the furnace back in the normal range. There was no extra charger beyond their standard diagnosis fee either. And they were able to come out the day after I called.
Great job and highly recommended.
Asked for a quote to install an EV charging station. They responded very quickly and told me it would cost $49 to send out person to gather the information necessary to submit a quote. If I accepted their quote on the spot, I would be credited the $49.
I declined the offer.
Prices are ridiculous. Quoted me $2500 to install a 50 amp RV receptacle 2ft from the circuit panel, I stupidly agreed before researching actual cost of a job like this. They charged me $250 to cancel the job once I wised up.

I needed one outlet installed. Took five weeks to come for an estimate. I was told the day before that if we were the first appointment I would be informed the night prior. No communication until I got an alert at 7:30am letting me know they will arrive at 8am. Tech arrived and was very nice. Said he could not do the work now and could come back with someone to help but that would not be for 4-6 weeks. Next he hit some buttons on his tablet and showed me the estimate of $990 to install one GFCI outlet. It was not a new circuit. It was one outlet that could be tapped off of another outlet in the same room. Insane. Went to Home Depot. Got the materials and my 11 year old and I did it together for $50 and 2 hours on a Saturday. I understand labor is at a premium but there is a limit.
Tyler came out and gave a comprehensive quote for a new furnace and cooling options for me. He answered every single question, and was very open to me showing other quotes from other companies and helping me understand them in a non-biased way. He also took every care to be Covid-careful! Gloves, mask, santizer ON the gloves! It underlined to me that he really cared.
He was really easy to talk to, and I felt confident in the information. I didn't end up going with them, because of my own budget reasons! But! Any future job I'd be really confident to go with Seatown because of Tyler. In regards to pricing, they were among the best prices I found with the most options. It was a very narrow race.
I'm confused. On Yelp it says that Seatown Electric offers free estimates. I sent a message through Yelp and received a response to call their customer service number, nothing about a price estimate despite me providing a description of the easy work (replacing worn outlets) I wanted done. I just called Seatown and was informed that for an estimate someone would have to come to my home and there would be a $50 dispatching fee for that. That's not a free estimate, it's a runaround.
I was trying to find a trustworthy reliable company for my parents' house. We were contacted a few times by other companies but it always ended up in a no show or no reply. Seatown was very communicative and proactive. They called us immediately to schedule an appt. And actually showed up! Before they arrived, we received a message about the technician who was coming and some information/picture about him which I found so thoughtful. According to my mom, they were so fast, efficient, and nice. They answered all my mom's questions and were very honest and patient. I will definitely recommend this company in the future to family and friends. My mom finally has her water pressure back and is so happy. Thank you Seatown!
I needed an electrical repair to my NEST thermostat system. I called in and talked to a rep, asking for their hourly rate, and she said they didn't have one. This didn't make sense to me, as how would they decide how much to charge a customer if there was not an hourly rate? I asked her to check with her manager, and a different person got on the phone and advised the same, that they do not have hourly rates and cannot advise until they sent someone out to diagnose, which just to send someone out was a $189 fee.
While the two people at Seatown Electric that I spoke to were very friendly and appeared to be simply doing their job, advising that a price could not be provided - As a consumer, we all should do our due diligence by obtaining quotes, as well as reading customer reviews before we make a decision on which companies we decide to spend our hard earned dollars.
Needless to say, I was not going to have someone come out without knowing a ballpark on what it would cost. I ended up going with Duro Heating Services that was only $99 to come out (note they are running a summer special - normally $129). Job complete in under an hour for $99 + tax with Duro.
I did send an email to Seatown Electri advising that they rethink their stance on not providing an hourly rate, as I see that others have had the same complaint.

Need to install a Tesla home charging unit. They charge $49 to come out and provide estimate which would be rolled towards job cost if hired. (No one else did this but they had good reviews so I assumed they were good and also competitive). Tech came out and bid and price was more than $1600 higher than next closest bid. He Told me I had to decide before he left property otherwise I would lose my $49. That was never disclosed to me when I made the appointment. Also their bid included tax and they did not mention that having an EV charger installed in WA state that it is currently tax free. The other two bids I received disclosed that up front. Ultimately went with a Tesla approved contractor but likely will not reach out to this place again if I ever had a need for electrical work based on my limited interaction with them.

I had a leak on the main water line. Blaine and Brian came in to fix the leak - went into the crawlspace, dug and refilled a hole, and fixed the pipe. They were both friendly and professional and gave me useful information about various things. They didn't mind getting dirty while it was raining. Seatown had a competitive price for this type of job.

They were nice, professional, did a great job. Explained things clearly. I will use them again when I need an electrician.
Found their business card in my Breaker Box when I purchased a home. Figured I'd give them a call for a small project where I found a 240v outlet wired incorrectly.
Their customer service rep was very nice and easy to work with, but:
$249 dispatch charge to evaluate an outlet
$49 dispatch to do an estimate.
Then they asked for credit card information in order to schedule, and wanted to charge prior to service. That's a big Nope for me.
We recently had a new roof put on over our patio over the weekend. A wire got cut for our outside floodlight and tripped the entire circuit which also had several interior outlets on it. Seatown was out first thing Monday morning diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly. The technician, Craigan, was polite, wore a mask the whole time, and a true professional.
This was not the first time we worked with Seatown as they rewired our old knob and tube house and upgraded our panel earlier this year as well as converted our old oil heat to mini split electric heat pumps. All of the electricians and HVAC technicians were always professional, clean, cleaned up after themselves, and talked me through every step. Thomas was the lead on the house rewire project which spanned several days. He and the other members of his team including Tyler H, Tyler S, Dustin, Vince, Mathew, Stephen, and many more (this was a big project!) were polite and extremely knowledgable. I appreciated receiving all of the updates when they were expected to arrive, a photo of the technician so I knew who was coming into my home, and great communication from the office.
What was really impressive was after the first city inspection there were a few adjustments the inspectors requested. Seatown was out quickly to remedy the issues and fixed them at no additional cost. The city inspectors even said they are one of the good ones that will fix this. Plus the city inspector for the electrical panel was super impressed when they took the cover off and everything was neatly laid out.
I strongly recommend Seatown for any of your electric or heating needs!
the work that Seatown did was good enough. they go on and on about customer service, but they left a bit of a mess ( garbage on my kitchen counter, drop cloth left in my living room, broke my garden gate -they never warned me, but to their credit, they did come back and fix it after I called a few times). but the biggest problem is that they charge absolutely outrageous prices. they charged me over $6300 for less than a days work!!! even w 2 technicians that comes out to almost $400 an hour for EACH 20+ yr old technician. some of the best attorneys in Seattle don't charge nearly that much. think of that: $6300 dollars for eight hours work. you feel really used afterwards.
if you don't call around and find a less pretentious outfit, you are likely to feel like someone really took advantage of you. it doesn't leave a good taste in your mouth.

Had a great experience the week prior fixing my sink clog. They come off as very nice.
I requested a quote for a small leak under my washing machine-and a few other non-immediate to-do's. They specifically said there was no charge for the estimate. They cancelled their Friday appointment and did not come back till Monday morning (remember this is my means of washing my clothes). While he was running the washer for testing he gave me a diagnostic bill for $248 and change. Bait & switch and unethical. HUGE waste of my time. They clearly lied to me and are unethical. I plan to take further action. This is unacceptable behavior for any business. Oh, and he left my washer full of water!
Michael came out to give us a quote and honestly could not have met a better human on the face of this earth. Knowledgeable and very personable, Michael worked hard to help us understand our options when working with our HVAC. Such a low-pressure sales situation, I honestly felt more like a buddy was coming over and just telling me about HVAC rather than selling me a service! Will continue to use Seatown for their excellent customer service!
I waited a month and a half to get an appointment for a quote. The technician arrived the hour before my 2 hour appointment window and I missed them. They offered to reschedule 2 months later. I was then forwarded to customer service who apologized for the break in communication and offered a rescheduled appt in a few weeks.

Total time waster. They will not give any estimations over the phone and need separate appointments for car charger and HVAC installation.
It was not possible to schedule those within week. Both times they arrived late, both appointments took a lot of time and both estimations came out more than 70% of the cost over the estimation by other licensed installers even when services discounted as a bundle.
Don't invite them for an estimation, their trick is that they will do a high estimation but will try to convince you to accept the offer because they did spent already a lot of time and can start the project immediately.
High quality, reliable service... respectful team... will recommend to anyone... we have worked with them for plumbing, electric and A/C

Seatown does take their jobs seriously.
During my last job, there was a glitch with my thermostat and they came back and hooked up a new ecobee thermostat for free.
This is the kind of customer focus I was looking for in any company. I would strongly recommend Seatown for all your electrical needs :-)
Micah at Seatown was fantastic at diagnosing and solving our problem. He was extremely patient and explained every step of the process giving us a clear sense of every option to fix our breaker. Highly recommended!
They have a tag on their Yelp page here that says free estimates, but in reality they charge a $49 non-refundable fee to give you an estimate. I declined, can't speak to their service quality or pricing, but charging a fee for an estimate is ridiculous.
I had a breaker switch on our panel fail on a Friday afternoon and the power was out to our whole unit. Seatown was able to send an awesome technician out within an 1.5 hours of the call which is super fast! Tyler, the tech that came to the rescue, was super friendly and talked me through the issue, the fix and some future recommendations for other electrical items we will want to address in the future. I was very impressed by the speed, professionalism and quality of the work. I definitely had a great experience with Seatown and would use them again for future electrical needs.

I want to give Anthony and his trainee Jeremy a 5 star review! I have a townhome with efficient radiant heat ( Big Headache) and our circulation pump was replaced by them. The job was long and they got very wet but we were able to see the finish line!
Thanks both of you and looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
First and foremost everyone wore protective masks throughout the course of the job.
I hired Seatown for a complete electrical rewire of my home.
Of all the professional services that I have hired for and the past 18 months Seatown Electric is superior. They provided A1 service from the start. Aaron the salesperson was extremely personable very professional and patient. I felt at ease in discussing what my electrical wishlist without feeling pressured.
On our work start day I was totally impressed that the sales representative Aaron showed up on the job site with the technicians performing the work in order to go over the details of my work order to ensure there were no miscommunications or gaps in the service that I received.
My technicians were Phillip and Chris and they are amazing. Completely professional very personable, knowledgeable and cleaned up very well not to mention the quality work that I was so impressed with on each day that they were here.
The rewire of my home was completed to my total satisfaction I'm a beaming just as the lights are. Philip and Chris were impressively organized in their work the way they had everything arranged and moved about their day. I would highly recommend Seatown for any electrical needs and I plan to inquire with them about other services that they offer because of Phillip and Chris. When the job was done and they left I felt assured their work would bring many years of comfort into our home.
The team of Seatown is amazing! They had helped me off from the hook two times! Both are emergency! I would love to hire them again ! Thanks!
Just a heads up some advice from multiple Professionals I recently talked to including L & I of Washington.
Before even calling any contractor or business you are planning to do work in your home, check the website or call L & I of Washington you can use secure.lni.wa.gov/verify to check to see if all of the business's paperwork is in order.
Always get 3 written bids before getting any work done. Eliminates any misunderstanding.
We installed the in home Tesla Charging unit in our garage about three years ago and it came off the wall. I did reach out to Seatown and they were able to set up an appt right away. Aaron, technician, came out and did a great job of taking care of us. What a great and prompt service! Thank you.

I contacted a few places about clearing a slow kitchen drain. Seatown was professional, polite and open about what they could do, couldn't do, and their pricing. I made an appointment and they sent me texts to update me and was on time. Cody was polite, considerate and let me know exactly what he was doing. He fixed the issue, explained to me what the issue was and thoroughly cleaned up after himself. I highly recommend these guys, great pricing, no pressure and trustworthy.
Had major electrical work completed with SeaTown (knob and tube). Kevon and Kyle were wonderful and took precautions to make sure everything was clean at the end of the day (we have a toddler).
We also had a mini split system installed by Tyler and Aaron. They stayed as long as needed to answer all questions and really went the extra mile. I love these guys.
One last kudos - Madi in the front office (scheduler) was communicative throughout the two projects and walked us through everything. Give Madi a raise!!! She's beyond exceptional!!!!
SeaTown may not be the cheapest for major projects (a bit on the higher end), but they don't nickel and dime you on the back end and stick to their original quote no matter what. They are supremely competent and a true pleasure to do business with. I will keep going back to them.

I had one of the most outstanding customer service experiences with SeaTown electric and plumbing that I've ever had in my life. They were fantastic. My pipes had backed up while my daughter and grandson were visiting from New York. I called on Friday afternoon at 2:30 asking for help. They resolved my problem and we're outstanding in finding a solution that worked for my needs. Very prompt responses even on the weekends. I highly recommend them. Honest, really reasonable rates, no backend additions and extremely reliable.
We lost power and SeaTown was able to get an electrician out to repair a GFI that went out within 24 hours. Prompt, knowledgeable, polite, and quick!

Great communication and super responsive. When I submitted for additional information, got a response back almost immediately. Sean and his partner were able to come look at my stove same week and fix the gas value same visit. They were very quick, super knowledgeable, friendly and overall great to work with. I would definitely call them again for any plumbing, Heating or Air.

This place is it for me. Have their card on my fridge for future use. I got other quotes to replace my failing faucets but Jacob at SeaTown assured me they could be rebuilt and he saved me a ton. Very professional and he knew what he was doing. Check them out you won't go wrong!
Punctual and responsive service. Paid for a Mini HP Split wash and it fixed the clicking noise. I'm very happy about it. It was expensive at around $250 if I recall correctly. However, the clicking sound is resolved.
I also purchased the annual maintenance service which I am having buyers remorse on. I can't cancel my contract mid year as I'm locked in for the year. For around $400 a year, the annual maintenance service will get you two technician visits. The technician cleaned my filter and review everything is working properly on my 1st visit. I should of spent that cost on washing the Mini HP Split.

I was looking for some simple electrical work (swapping some old outlets for new ones and rewiring a 3 gang switch).
I reached out to 3 companies two of them provided me with an hourly rate and minimum service charge cost. Seatown Electric was the only one to not do this.
Fair and transparent businesses tell you their prices upfront.
It's a below-board business practice and any great general contractor will tell you to not do business with anyone that can't give you a price sheet, hourly rate, etc, upfront.
Their rates shouldn't change depending on the job type.
I've seen other companies do this too. Where they try and get you to schedule a service call only to be on-site and then try and pressure you into a sale.
See Tim J's review and this is a great example of what I mean. They probably flat bid his work and it took quicker than they thought so the hourly ended up being some super high amount.
Their work may be good, I don't know, but you don't start off a business relationship obscuring pricing.
AFTER Brandon's Comment
Brandon - If you worked from a flat-rate price-book then at the very least you could have said here are the prices to swap a new outlet in for an old, etc. OR could have started an inquiry on the work (how many outlets need to be swapped out? etc, but you didn't even offer details about your flat-rates, did you?
Lastly, I didn't feel you weren't upfront with your prices, you flat out weren't upfront about pricing. This is a fact and has nothing to do with my feelings. There's nothing to debate about that piece of data.

Seatown was responsive and came within couple hours of the original call. Tyler the electrician was thorough and fixed our issues immediately. We are greatful for Tyler's assistance.
The initial ask for the project was to replace the old ceiling box with a new one, as I found the screws that came with the fixture that I brought from Costco was loose on the ceiling box. I thought that the ceiling box had worn out. Tyler, the technician representing the company was courteous and explained that a new set of screws would actually be the solution and there was no need to replace the ceiling box. The reason for the 1star review was that I had to cough up $450 for this. This kind of pricing for such a problem erodes trust with the customer. Another way to go about it was hey do you want me to charge $450 for putting 2 screws instead of just getting these screws from a local store.

Excellent communication, technician was professional. The price was outrageous! They wanted over $1000 to install 2 replacement light fixtures that I had purchased.
Seatown came to our house to do the Knob and Tube Re-wiring and also adding some new lights.
In the start, Matt came to our house to provide the quote. He followed covid guidelines and also opened each and every outlet to check for knob and tube wiring. The quote Seatown provided was comparable to the other quotes we received.
We decided to go ahead with them and later on the day of the job Jeremy was our electrician who came onsite and did the entire re-wiring. They were extremely professional and provided the entire house's walkthrough when the job was done.
Also, they helped us fix some small issues for free which we liked a lot. So overall, I really liked their service.
Seatown Electric was wonderful, one of the best I've ever worked with for home projects! Aaron was especially great!
Seatown installed a full home air conditioning system and ran natural gas to my BBQ and installed a natural gas log lighter in my fireplace. They came out quickly to quote and installed the next week. The installers did good work and were courteous to minimize messes and disruptions while they installed.
The good: Seatown came the day after I called, communicated well about the arrive time, they completed the job quickly, and did a good job, as far as I can tell.
The bad: I paid them about $550/hour, not including parts and tax. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I have trouble leaving anything higher than a 3 star review if I don't feel good about a business transaction.
To be clear: I was given a price up front. I accepted that price. I did not look for competitive bids. This is largely my fault. I believed the technician when he agreed it would likely take the rest of the afternoon. I only post this to ensure others can go into this well informed.
The job:
1. Install one new outlet right above an existing outlet. (Need to cut through some plywood that was behind the drywall.)
2. Cover up an unused switch that was part of three switches controlling the same lights. (Note - this required rewiring one of the other switches as well.)
3. Run about 15-20 feet of conduit from an existing power source and install a new outlet at the other end.
Arrival time: ~12:40pm
The quote: $1539.92
My mindset: I could get competitive bids, but people are pretty honest these days. I asked the technician if it would take him the rest of the afternoon, and he gave a response and a look like it definitely would. So, I assumed, OK, pricy, but it's going to be around 5 hours of work for him. I can see this being $250 / hour for a quality firm, plus parts and tax.
Around 2:45pm, the technician informs me he's done. I'm a bit shocked.
$600+/hour before parts and tax. Yowza.
I verify everything's working, but then ask him why it's so crazy expensive. He says it's because they only give flat rates for projects, but the benefit is that if something goes wrong and it takes them many extra hours, the price does not change, whereas an hourly estimate could result in unexpected charges.
I think he felt bad, so he reduced the fee by ~$118, so I paid closer to $1421.
Even then, we're still talking around $550/hour.
I know that the business owner is posting saying they have families, insurance, etc., but at $500/hour, even if you assume they spend 25% of every call driving to their destinations, they're making $750K a year per employee. Even with families and insurance, $750K a year is a ton.
I called for a quote on whole house heat pump, a $50,000 project. The receptionist blythly said the could come out just to look at the house in late December. Four months, just for a quote. Move on to the next company.

We worked with Dillon and he was awesome. Went above and beyond. We had a gas line extension t-off from our furnace in the basement to our new gas cook top upstairs in the kitchen. We just finished remodeling and Dillon was incredibly respectful of our home. We got several bids. Seatown's was the most reasonable, and Dillon did fantastic work. Wore a mask the whole time too, which was nice because I didn't even have to ask. We'd definitely recommend Seatown (and Dillon) to anyone.

Dillon with Seatown was great! Showed up right away for emergency after hours service, diagnosed problem quickly explained our options ver clearly and was very friendly. I have used Seatown several times and will continue to call them for plumbing electrical and HVAC needs. Every service tech has been super friendly and professional.
These guys have done several jobs for me now, and they are always completely reliable and they do excellent work.
Micah B. was typical of what I've come to expect from Seatown: personable, competent, reliable, and honest.
They are my go-to company for electric work.
Wow! Seatown really knows what they're doing. A skilled technician came out to assess our furnace shortly after it died, and a different highly skilled team completed the install. Seatown had the foresight to stock up on furnaces, so we only waited a few weeks for a replacement despite supply chain shortages. We will be sure to call Seatown for our next electric/plumbing/heating adventure!

We had a tree fall on our power line from the utility pole to our house. It pulled down our electric mast and yanked our line at the meter. Seatown came out with in 3 hours of being called, and while we were without power for a while, they jumped right in and got us covered as soon as possible. Their electrician, Stonney was exactly the kind of person you would want taking care of this kind of problem- calm, thoughtful and efficient - also good at explaining complicated issues. The project supervisor got us inspected and arranged our reconnection with Seattle City Light during awkward post storm mess. Okay, it was crazy expensive but it got done, on time and as discussed.

Malik and junior where great. On time. Positive attitude. Friendly. Breaker was good. Replaced outlets tested everything was ok. Thank you.
I have a project to make a new detach mother in-law house and I called this company to get a quote. They send their electrician very fast and on time to my house .
I have to give them a lot of credit to have somebody like Matt who is really knowledge and nice and polite to go through my project and explain every details and tell me different options to choose from and he also answered every questions I had .
I am really happy with his service but I have to get more quotes before I start my project.
Thank you Matt for your all help.

I had a great experience, again, with Seatown. Today Justin came to my home to replace my water heater tank. The entire process was great, from scheduling an inspection of my old water heater (which was leaking) to today's installation. Justin did an excellent job today with the replacement and was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and tolerant of my cat.
I have used Seatown for other work, and I think it is a fantastic company. Highly recommended.

Seatown installed a new gas line in preparation for a new gas range and I'd recommend Seatown every time. Our technician, Dillon Maneri, was amazingly professional, capable and communicative about our services (sorry for the late review, Dillon!). Use Seatown next time you need any work done!
Was having problems, gave seatown a call and then ended up having an all around pleasant experience with Brenden and Justin, thank you for all you guys do!

We have been working with SeaTown for the past couple years for electrical and today plumbing. They have done excellent work for us, upgraded our light fixtures (indoor and outdoor) and outlets-Blake and his apprentice was fantastic! Today we had them out for plumbing maintenance-Code was excellent. This company has been responsive in a timely manner, professional in their work and very friendly. Highly recommend them!

Had a plumbing problem. They were responsive and sent out a plumber to my home. Plumber spent 10 minutes to diagnose the problem and another 10 minutes snaking our pipe. Problem was NOT fixed and charged us $600 for their time. They then send out another plumber that has a bigger snake machine the next day. Still not fixed. Said we're looking to cut the foundation and that would cost $6000. We got a second opinion from another plumber and they used another route to fix our problem and got it fixed for $3000 without cutting into the foundation. Used Seatown for electric work, unfortunately plumbers I feel are not well trained. $600 to not get anything fixed. WOW.

Technicians and electricians are knowledgeable.
Office crew are very responsive and pleasant.
However, a two day install should have taken three, as they did not leave the premises until 9:45 pm. The subsequent scheduling of follow-up for finishing of the job is going on three weeks and likely will not be finished for 3 more weeks. So no furnace, good thing it is warm out.
On top of that, there is damage to the hardwood floor where the furnace install was done. That will likely require either replacement or refinishing......the gift that keeps on giving. Lack-luster follow-up at best.
Scheduling the electrician, count on waiting all day for them to show up, even when you think it is between 0830 and 0930, they don't communicate a time window, or should I say, the time-window is actually ALL DAY.

I had Seatown out to clear a blockage in my home's sewer line, and they did incredible work! My sewer line cleanout access is in my finished basement, so I was concerned about debris or liquid getting on my carpet or walls, but the technician who came, David, was extremely careful and put a drop cloth down to avoid any mess. He was very informative throughout the process, and even recommended I not go with a costly and unnecessary service I was considering. I would absolutely recommend David or his team from Seatown to anyone who needs plumbing work done.
This business does not want your business.
Contacted them for a quote, after numerous back-and-forths they falsely claimed my place was commercial and made several incorrect statements about it.
Waste of time and they won't listen to reason even when they're claiming that the sky is orange and you're trying to correct them.
Makayla insisted my property was something it was not.
EDIT: 10 minutes after posting this review Makayla emailed me and apologized. I will bump them up one star, but I still think this is scummy behavior where it seems like they only bothered to respond because they started getting negative online PR.
Makayla then insisted they schedule an in-person appointment to give me an estimate despite the fact that no less than 15 other places have managed to give me estimates in the last 24 hours based on my detailed written description and high definition photos. Given the reviews about their in-person bad sales techniques I think I'll pass.
For the bait and switch, they go back down to one star.
EDIT: the owner's response is false. They didn't correct themselves after I gave them my address. I gave them the address and THEN they falsely insisted it was commercial. I don't like dishonesty. If you're going to own up to a mistake then don't lie about it later.
My address was given BEFORE they insisted it was commercial. I emailed them early today correcting them shorty after they emailed me. They choose to IGNORE ME until this review got posted. They clearly didn't care about me until I decided to write this up. Now they are lying about when they got the address and why they said what they said. I have all documentation saved.
The reason I'm upset about this? I spent a lot of time giving them info over the course of a day and I needed a written quote quickly. I poured time and energy into this company only to have them deny me at the last minute.

One star because Google Lead Services says they are open 24/7 and their voice mail says during regular business hours, which means nothing. Fuse blew at 7pm on a Friday night. Called them because of their A+ Better Business Bureau rating.
Message machine Friday evening said one caller ahead of us. Left a message expecting a call back in 15 min or less. Nothing after 1/2 hour. Called again and still one caller ahead of us.
It is now Saturday morning and I Googled again and their hours, which aren't on their website or phone message say Mon-Sun 8am to 5pm. It's nearly 9am.
Just read a bunch of the Yelp reviews and multiple times people say they are overpriced. When & if they call, I'm telling them I have called another company, which is true.
I highly recommend Seatown! From my first phone call, they made me feel like our business was important to them, even though we did not offer them a huge job. Their communication throughout the process was greatly appreciated. Our plumber, Blaine, was so friendly, professional and a pleasure to have in our home. I will be using them again for our next project and will be asking for Blaine specifically.
So My husband and I bought a home and immediately discovered a boat load of problems. So seatown has really been the MVP right now, with all the mess we are dealing with.
So far, about 9 people have been over to our house, all completing different projects. Like I said, we found a lot of problems, with heating, plumbing and electrical.
They come early and are able to explain to me the issue and ways to fix it. They have been helping me organize other appointments and getting the right people to come see things. I feel less stressed with them helping and coordinating everything.
Since these have been happening all at once, I haven't been able to keep up with all the names of all the people who have come over to fix things.
Chris was the one that came today, I appreciate him and his team coming and doing so much, considering the weather took a turn for the worst.
There are still more projects to do but I just wanted to say thanks for all you guys have done so far.
[I only received a quote from Seatown. No work was performed.]
I had a consultation for a quote on replacing an old oil furnace with a mini-split ductless system. For the majority of the time, the salesman was prying about what other quotes I had received and from what companies. For every company I listed, he then would go on a tangent about how awful that company was and how he had heard rumors they could barely meet payroll and would be closing shop soon. I didn't appreciate the car salesman game.
Then when he gave me the quote, it was a 50% premium on what I was quoted for at 2 other companies (15k versus 10k). I understand that Seatown is one of the higher-end installation companies, but at a 50% premium I can just put the 5k savings into a high-interest savings account and use it to pay off any heating/cooling problems in the future. It's simply not competitive. When I spoke to the salesman about this, he simply said that he had no idea how other companies were bidding so low and it must mean that they were struggling and nearly out of business and thus I shouldn't go with them. Both of the other companies had been in business for more than 10 years.
I would recommend you include Seatown on your list of bidders, but please make sure to get other quotes as well to ensure you are getting the most competitive rates.

Thank you. I have updated the review since the company was persistent in working with me till the issue was resolved. Thank you!!!
We just bought a new home and had some electrical issues and needed a quick fix. We also had to replace some gas fittings for new appliance hookup. Not only were they able to schedule sooner than anyone else, they were very reasonable. They didn't even charge us for the fitting replacements even though that was a separate appointment! We'll definitely be calling them for our future electrical, gas and plumbing needs!
We have used Seatown multiple times and have enjoyed their professional behavior, prompt arrivals, and they have done a great job on our lighting projects. Steven Marquardt recently helped us and provided great service. Highly recommend.

Thank god I found them. I contacted this business. They listened to my concerns. I was able to get 1st available appointment with them. A guy named Dillon Maneri came in to help us. He was very knowledgeable. He installed a gas furnace for our washer/dryer as we wanted gas appliances in our new home for better energy saving. Dillon not only gave us reasonable quote but actually helped us to install everything we wanted same day within couple hrs. Great service with them. I will def contact them in future
Unethical. Charged me 900% of price for part ($450 for $50 retail). Dishonest when I asked about price prior to install.
My tenant told me the thermostat for the furnace had gone blank so we got Brian from SeaTown Electric to come out to run a diagnostic ($149). He called me and stated the condensation pump ($450) had died and shorted the EMI board ($189) in the process. I don't know how much pumps cost, but $450 sounded high. I told him as much and asked about a generic pump option. He responded the price was because the pump was special, a workhorse model, tougher than the generic models, would last the life of the furnace. Considering this is the furnace for my tenant, I had him do the work. 15 minutes later he was done.
That night I had my tenant look up the model number on the pump. Yeah, it was a $50 (retail) pump.
I spoke to a manager (Cody) a day later, telling him that Brian had seriously misled me about the pump and he took the hard line of you agreed to the price and we use a book for pricing, assuring me that the price is their standard, and parts markups are used to cover their overhead costs and the labor to install (5 minutes, BTW). So why didn't Brian tell me that the day before? Why did he have a completely separate story about the price for the Golden Pump of the Gods? Who was lying? After talking in circles for half an hour, Cody begrudgingly offered to refund $100 of the price.
Assuming Cody was telling the truth (really not sure at this point), imagine the incentive to your crew this sort of pricing model promotes: parts = pay. With the profit of a huge markup, the technician is obviously encouraged to install as many parts as possible. Did my pump actually die or was that a convenient add-on to a vulnerable party? A 9x price-gouge on a $50 part is unacceptable (2x or 3x seems reasonable), the technician's fast-talk shuffle is unethical, and the hard-line yes it's a huge markup but you agreed to it is shameful. I hope this review helps others when they consider using SeaTown, and I thank Cody and Brian for the lesson in trust.
SeaTown did our service panel and they got it done in a day. The guys that came out were friendly and did a good job. After the work was done, I did have some feedback to offer regarding their work.
Their customer service was excellent and followed up with me to let me know they updated their training based on my input. Great to hear the company is open to listening to customers!
One of the reasons Seatown received my business is because I needed help with my electrical system on a weekend. Somebody actually called me back on a Saturday! The two Seatown employees who arrived were Malik and Jaden. They diagnosed the problem and offered two solutions with reasons for and against each solution. They were able to fix my electrical problem promptly. The guys had everything they needed with them and we were done in about an hour. I'm really happy with the service I received from Seatown and will use them again. Thanks guys!
Seatown upgraded our water heater to a tankless water heater and rerouted a gas line to heat the water. Jacob estimated the work and the next day the heater was installed! Jacob and Blaine did a fantastic job. They were on time, took care of all the details, did very high-quality work, and cleaned up. They were a pleasure to work with and very polite.
We are also having Seatown replace our electrical panel and the old knob and tube wiring/sockets in a few weeks. We are looking forward to using Seatown again.
We know Brandon from when he started the company, and since day one when he showed up as an estimator, his service, attention to details, as well as communication were exceptional.
It's not easy to find people these days who are honest and willing to make effort to answer our questions!
They have followed up on every little questions and issues we 'd come across, after the whole home re-wiring too.
We highly recommend them :) and will have them back again for our future electrical (and now also the HVAC) projects!

I had a problem that I didn't explain well to the scheduler. Cody came out and found that what I needed, irrigation work, was not something Seatown does. But he looked at where my leak was and located it, and also made a call and got a referral for an irrigation company and the name of the device I needed to have installed. Super guy, great service even though he wasn't able to work for me. It doesn't get nay better than that! Thanks, Cody.
In response to my Yelp review, the owner called me and offered to take another look. One of the managers came out and again inspected the upstairs. He was thorough, found some electrical issues which he explained to me.
Most importantly, he admitted that the previous SeaTown electrician had made a mistake, and confirmed to me that although knob and tube wiring exists, it is not live. Thank you for coming out, looking again, and acknowledging your fault. Nobody is perfect!
Very responsive, polite and respectfully wore a mask. I look forward to completing the job.

I just had a new furnace installed today! David and James were excellent, they had it installed quickly, got here on time, cleaned out the vents of a good 30 years worth of gunk, and showed me how to get the thermostat working. They, unfortunately, couldn't get our nest installed due to the age of the house I will need to have an electrician come out to do that, but the thermostat they installed in the meantime is pretty great!
The billing, however, leaves something to be desired. The original bid came with a bronze, silver, gold option (which is AWESOME). We decided it was best for our family to go with the most expensive version since it will last us longer and came with the best filter. When I called to ask about the deposit I made sure to see if the estimate included tax. I was told 3 times yes it included the tax. When we called to pay half the price for the deposit, I asked if that included the tax. Again, I and my husband were told yes. Now, I'm here looking t the final bill to pay and it is $500 dollars more than expected because......GUESS WHAT.....they didn't put the tax in until now. This sort of billing error/ customer service error is very frustrating and is why I am giving Seatown electric 3 stars.
I would give them 5 stars, because the technician was so great. So this is meant as a bit of warning. Make sure you are really really on top of what you are paying for.
Hello,
I'm a first time customer at Seatown Electric and Plumbing. I reached out to the company to do a major repipe under our home after our regular plumber expressed no interest in the project.
Clay recently finished the repipe under our home and I wanted to take the time to say how happy we are with his work.
Clay went above and beyond to make sure this project went smoothly. We had to get an excavation company to remove dirt under our house and Clay was so kind to take time out of his days to communicate with them on several occasions.
From the first day Clay showed up to the end of the project he was always honest, kind and upbeat. We honestly felt so lucky to have someone show up and who really takes so much pride in their work.
We are definitely returning customers because of this experience. We appreciated the excellent customer service all around. Scheduling was easy and friendly, payment was easy and everything runs efficiently.
We had Zach and his crew rewire our 1910 knob-and-tube wired house. Unlike others who quote you one price and deliver you a bill with a totally different amount on it, Zach was quick, efficient, responsive, obliging, and easy to work with. He kept us informed of progress, snags, problems, and areas we should think of doing something about now or later. We changed plans, asked for more, needed changes to the schedule, Zach just kept with it and kept his word. Thanks, Seatown!
We also got some gas pipe rerouted and put in place for a new stove! Outstanding all around!

I recently hired SeaTown to replace my existing HVAC and water heater. While the HVAC work is still ongoing, the water heater replacement is now complete. I ll plan to edit this review once the HVAC system is completed.
I am very pleased with the professionalism of this company thus far. Every employee is extremely polite, wears masks, goes above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied, and helps educate you in the process.
Our tankless water heater is now fully installed and works great. We upgraded our old hot water tank and the new system even keeps the lines hot ensuring we have instant hot water in all of the sinks. I highly recommend working with Dillon. He was very easy going, and was more than happy to walk through the system as well as work with me on any design alteration.
This wasn't the least expensive quote I got for electrical work, but they were the most responsive (within a day of submitting online), gave the most detailed quote (some of the other companies didn't even bother coming to look at the house/job - they just wanted me to take a million photos and spend hours measuring, etc.), and most professional - both during the quote and actual work.
We had a 220amp outlet installed in our garage for our Tesla charger, and a dedicated 20amp outlet installed in our lower level in-law for a fridge and microwave. The two electricians who did the work were professional, friendly, efficient, and respectful of the house (and making sure our gaggle of cats and big dog didn't get outside). I would definitely recommend them and use them again in a second for future work.

It feels so good to have a guy to call for my heating/plumbing/air needs. Dillon is AWESOME! He came out to provide an estimate to install a gas line to the kitchen to for a new gas range and to the fireplace to convert it from wood to gas. I was able to schedule him on very short notice; he really came through and did a fantastic job, answering all my questions as he worked. He double-checked everything with a really cool gas detector which put me completely at ease. Funny enough, after he hooked up the gas range, I exchanged it for a different one and he again came through on super short notice and hooked up the new one. He really made it clear that my safety and satisfaction were important to him. I couldn't be happier with the service, and if you're considering switching over to a gas range or fireplace, don't hesitate! Fires every night now because it's as easy as turning a key and lighting a match; and I love cooking with gas. Thanks Dillon and Seatown!
Recently hired SeaTown to complete a large HVAC/electrical project in our home and we couldn't recommend them more. The scope included replacing an oil furnace with a ducted heat pump system, a knob and tube rewire, a new panel, and upgraded service (120amp to 200amp).
On the initial estimate, Brian (electrical) and Cody (HVAC) were very professional and patient and addressed the (considerably long) list of questions I had regarding the scope. They returned the proposal in a matter of days. I received 3 other bids, and I found SeaTown to be the most patient, helpful, detailed, and also the cheapest.
We worked with Kevin and his crew (Steve, Zack, Bradley, Ivan, etc.) on the electrical work and Ryan and his crew on the HVAC side. Both teams were really enjoyable to have around and easy to work with. It truly didn't feel like a large and stressful project (which it could have been). They were patient with some waffling on scope and handled change orders with ease on the fly.
Both teams called each morning to let us know when they were 30 minutes away. The communication was great throughout, providing updates on what was completed, what was currently underway, what they planned to accomplish the next day, and always checking-in when they needed a decision prior to performing any work. They explained the why at each step if anything needed to deviate from the original plan. They minimized the disruption to normal life and we were only without power for an hour or so. Both teams left the space clean at the end of each workday.
After the project completed, they walked me through all the work that had been done. They left a contact for the drywall repair that needed to occur.
The City inspectors had minimal findings, and corrections were made the very next day. I took advantage of City Light / Office of Sustainability rebates which helped reduce up-front cost, and leveraged an Energy Efficiency loan at 4.25% through Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union (PSCCU).
Would highly recommend their services to anyone in the market.
6pm on a friday my electric went out in half my home without trippung a breaker. Needless to say i was scared. I called seatown they wanted over $450 in emergency fee and over $200 just to look at box. Thats more than $659. Closer to $700 before finding issue ir repairing. I broke down crying on phone since 2 days ago i was laid off for coronavirus bans. The lady apologized and said she couldbt do anything to lower price. I called several other companies. All were shocked at this giant fee. No-one else charges even half this...i can only guess seatown is trying to profit from this epidemic... I wasn't asking for free just reasobable. Anither company had me up and running in hours for the less than seatowns rate to just look at issue. Go to a company that cares about the community not just lining their pockets

I'm impressed by their level of service but you do pay for the difference. They did a good job on the last job, but when I reached out for a quote on something else they were much more expensive then the other places I contacted.
The service from Aaron from Seatown has been phenomenal! I wish I could give him more stars than five. This is the first review that I have written in years so that says quite a bit about how very happy I am about Aaron's service.
We had several light fixtures that were dropping flakes through out the house. Several other companies came in and weren't very helpful in troubleshooting what was going wrong and in coming up with a solution to fix it. However, when Aaron came in, not only was he able to identify the issue but he also spent a lot of time trying to help me find new light fixtures that could be installed in my outdated setup. His communication throughout the entire process was amazing. At every step of the way, he would give me updates and would frequently check in to ensure that I was happy and that my needs were taken care of. He was just a phone call away when I had questions. Aaron even came in to test the light fixture install and ensure that I liked it before he bulk ordered it. He is also super nice and patiently answers noob questions which was very helpful in allowing me to understand what was going on.
I truly truly appreciated this. For my electric needs, I won't be going anywhere else from now on.
Great company to work with with and Ivan was friendly and went out of his way to getting just right.

What is an awful nightmare of an installation for my Tesla charger at home. The technician how to come back an extra two or three times because they messed up, tried to bully me on the price, and left 2 unpatched holes in the wall.
We had a great experience working with Brandon & Phil. I'm happy to have all of our electrical concerns resolved! They came out to our property and provided a thorough consultation, which included a detailed quote. The quote they provided was comparable to other companies (as we did receive 2 other quotes prior), but their warranty is much better, and we liked working with Brandon and Phil. They were great in answering all our questions, and were upfront on issues or concerns they came across. They were very prompt and diligent about communicating. Very much appreciated, and if ever needed, we plan to use again.

Seatown Services is a professional, friendly, and fair business. The electricians know what they are doing and are fast and clean. Installed power for a sauna. Happy customer.
We had an urgent need for installation of additional electrical outlets to accommodate a retrofit for the garage door for our condominium building. Zach was already scheduled to come give an estimate to one of our residents for a personal job in her unit and he gladly came down to give a second estimate for us when he was finished. He was very professional and did a couple of checks with meters and reviewed the general area so that he was able to give us an accurate (read: no surprises), estimate, which was quite reasonable and we accepted it. He arrived exactly on time on the appointed day, and did an excellent job on our installation. We will definitely keep Seatown as a preferred reference for future electrical work - whether needed by any individual residents in our building, or for the common areas of our condominium building.

Seatown was great to work with from start to finish. I asked Seatown to price out installing a new gas line from the existing meter to a location in the basement for a gas dryer. Dillon was our tech and he did a great job with the install. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and showed me that everything was running properly when he was done. It was also very easy to schedule the work and the pricing was competitive compared to other quotes received. I will definitely be calling Seatown for future needs. Thanks Seatown and Dillon!!!
I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the reliability of the company and the actions (and quite possibly the integrity) of the technician (Stephen) that was sent to inspect my HVAC system after my tenant complained of a fishy aroma when the furnace activated.
First, I had scheduled an inspection for EARLY afternoon, by 3:30 PM on 8/24/21 no one had shown up nor had any details been communicated about when I could expect someone. I called the company to inquire and they stated that someone was on the way (I'm assuming that they dispatched someone immediately after my call).
Second, Stephan called me and let me know that there had been rodent issues in the crawl space where the furnace is located. I was aware of this and had taken actions (a professional exterminator) to mitigate the issue. He also communicated this to my tenant (a younger, single woman with little to no knowledge of HVAC or how home systems work) and apparently shocked her into believing that the only remediation (he touted his decades of experience) was to replace the entire HVAC system to assure she was breathing clean air when the heating system was on.
Finally, he let me know in order to replace ALL ducting (which, in his opinion was the ONLY way to correct the issue) it would cost $14,345!
I was a professional Firefighter/EMT for King County for 27+ years and have a fairly good understanding of houses and their systems. I had called this company in good faith because I don't have the time to chase something like this down myself. Needless to say, I will not be employing this company and would strongly suggest you scrutinize any work/bids that they deem necessary. When I see what looks to be a shark in the water I feel it's my duty to inform others for their own (financial) safety.

The electricians that came out were friendly, knowledgeable and respectful of our home. The quality of the work was great and we'd hire them back if we had a need.
These guys are great. I had Ant and his protege Sam come out to my place to replace my electrical panel after some water got in it and a couple of my breakers kept tripping. Originally I was told it was going to be an all day affair but they were out of my driveway by 2pm. Ant CLEARLY knew what he was doing and was quick and efficient in getting the work done. I got regular communication regarding arrival time and they were professional and clean-always putting on booties when they entered the house from outside. I've called these guys for a couple jobs at my place and they're probably pricier than the competition, but you get what you pay for. They always get the job done and to a high caliber.

Needed to replace the chandelier in our dining room above the stove. He had to get the shop to bring a larger ladder and it took less time than thought. Price was a bit more than we planned but it had to get done. Great Job!
I needed an estimate and evaluation for a 1905 house with a lot of knob and tube wiring. Brian was prompt in arriving and very detailed in his assessment of the issues. He walked us through the process, operating in a very efficient manner but taking as much time as needed to answer our questions. Requesting the appointment online was easy and I received a call to book the appointment within a few hours. The appointment was able to happen the next day (fast!) and the estimate and evaluation was free. I am very impressed and pleased with the experience. Would highly recommend!
Eventually, Seatown was able to sort out our electrical work and issues, which seemed to multiply but probably couldn't have been avoided (who knows--to me, electrical might as well be the Hodge conjecture).
That said, our electricians were knowledgeable, efficient and competent. And if you get Brad and his apprentice assigned to your job, consider yourself lucky.
I do a lot of plumbing contracting for our Condo Association in Bellevue
I have contracted with the Board out over 100K in plumbing to reconstruct our 50 year underground end of service plumbing systems into a reliable 21 century system. There was one building that we had a great deal of difficulty with because of uncooperative owners and a difficult configuration
After two years of frustration and four other plumbing companies throwing in the towel (3 of which are very major commercial companies), I reached out to Seatown and that was the charm
This was a complicated 22K plus job that involved exterior trenching, interior work and point to point underground work and Seatown came through with flying colors!. I had the pleasure to work with their estimator Cody to lock down the contract and throughout the project to solve problems. There was one change of Contract because of unforeseen circumstances but Cody reworked our contract to the Board's satisfaction.
Blaine was one of the plumbers on our job and he had great attention to detail and the owners were very happy with his work.
Seatown, Code and Blaine are at the top of the heap as far as comany and Plumbers with communication skills and that for me is very important for me on a big project because as a volunteer, I am not paid for headaches. Additionally, Seatown has an automated system that communicates through both Text and emails to notify multiple parties of appointments days in advance and also hours before the actual appointment

After writing my initial review and contacting Seatown, Ryan (manager) was dispatched, assessed the install work and agreed it was not up their standards. Within a week, Jeff came out and meticulously fixed the issues and thoroughly walked through the improvements & adjustments he made; all were to my satisfaction. Jeff & Ryan were exceptional professionals, and I appreciate that Seatown took responsibility to ensure quality work was done the second time around. Thank you for the follow through.
Seatown electric technicians are skilled and their job and I would recommend them to anyone. I had Thomas, Bradley and Tyler. They made sure the job was done correctly without shortcuts and minimal damage. The job was a whole house rewiring of knob and tube over 3000 sq ft so it took a lot of planning and patience.
That said, the office coordination was abysmal. First I was promised a quote in 24 hours. After not getting it for days, I asked to be pencilled in to a time slot since we were still waiting on the actual quote, and I was willing to verbally agree to the rough estimate so I could lock in a time frame.
After I finally got the quote and signed off on it, they called me again to schedule my date. When I said I already had one and they were trying to give me a later one, they called around and fixed it. Except they fixed it by getting me a crew coming from the north side of the city, who got stuck in traffic and lost two to four working hours every day to transit, setting back the time frame and pushing it over all the holidays.
Then, scheduling the follow up after it took longer was communicated poorly, and it wasn't actually going to be a week before they came back but instead a whole month, right after Christmas during my wedding anniversary and time off.
Then it still wasn't done because they kept pulling people off the job to do other odds and ends.
In the end they started before Thanksgiving and finished after the new year. They had to come back three times after the original date, only one of which was planned due to me adding to the job.
Finally, they called to schedule an inspection with me. I waited all day and nobody showed up. I got a call next week.. to schedule an inspection. Lisa and Makalya aren't communicating effectively with each other or following through on what they say they are going to do. I have a feeling they are permanently stuck in an over promising cycle where past jobs cut into new ones. Be prepared for this if you go with them.
Overall, not the most professional handling of a $30,000 job.

Had Matt came by for an electrical estimate today. He is not just a sales person but actually an electrician. He is very knowledgeable, detail oriented and courteous. Their bid is above average but I believe their service will be great if I choose to hire them. In any case, will see how things looks like when they come service the furnace later this year.
Recommended this company for complicated projects.
I had Dillon provide an initial quotation and he returned to do the gas piping project. I had several estimates for the project and to be honest, generally the cost of all tradesmen in Seattle is ridiculous, but they priced the job right in the middle of the pack and did everything I asked and more. The work was meticulous. I asked Dillon to do a couple of little extra things which he did enthusiastically. One thing I forgot to address was the connection to the BBQ. I sent him a note asking him what I needed to make the connection, and he offered to come back and take care of it for me. You just don't get that kind of service often anymore. I was happy to write them the check.
Seatown is not the cheapest electrical out there (I got several quotes) - but I hired them due to their professionalism, thoughtfulness, communication, and attention to detail. I really wanted the electrical in our 1923 home to be safe, and done CORRECTLY - unlike the hack job that was done by a prior house flipper two owners ago. Seatown offered quotes, explained everything that they needed to do that was additional to the quote, and were extraordinarily respectful of the space. They stand behind the work - when the inspector wanted something moved or changed, they owned it and fixed it themselves at no charge. We decided to get the work done right - it's an investment in our home we are planning to live in for decades to come.

By far one of the best companies I've ever hired.
Their customer service is top-notch. Everyone that I talked to was friendly, polite, and patient. It's amazing how many places get this part wrong - SeaTown Electric probably has the best customer service of any company I've ever worked with.
The electrical work was also excellent. I had an old circuit breaker box upgraded (it was the model that has a habit of catching on fire) and brought inside. The estimate had several options for boxes, which was a nice touch. I went with the mid-grade box. Blake showed up right on time during installation day and explained what was going to be done. He and his apprentice worked for several hours and finished that day. My siding was being replaced at the same time, and he even worked with the siders to make sure they could finish their job around his work. The new breaker box works great and I don't have to worry about it catching on fire anymore.
The only thing I would say is a down side is that their prices tend to be slightly higher than their competitors. But it's like the old saying - you get what you pay for.

We hired Seatown to replace knob and tube wiring in our house. We had technicians Phil and Chris. They were so great to work with! I felt comfortable knowing they put safety first and very experienced! They replaced all of our switches and outlets, and even installed all of the new light fixtures we bought! I wish I could hire them to do everything else we need done aside from electrical lol! I absolutely reccomend anyone who needs wiring done to call them first! Unfortunately we didnt and Seatown also had to fix that mistake. Now my house is up to code and safe for the first time ever!

I wanted a air scrubber so I called a few HVAC places for quotes . Seatown showed up first and on time, theirs wasn't the cheapest quote I had gotten but they price matched and Ryan the tech went right to work and we were up and running in less than hour. I would give then 5 stars but I haven't need any real customer service, such as needing service or repair from them yet but I'm very confident they will provide excellent service. So yes I would recommend Seatown ! How well the scrubber works remains to be seen but they gave me a 30 day money back no questions asked guarantee.

I don't see how this business can survive if it only services generators it installs. After such an answer, the chances I would buy equipment from them are now nil.
Called Wed pm with non-emergency heater issue, Fri 8am tech was at front door. Professional. Pleasant. Thorough. Great communications. Impressed and will use again. Likely not the cheapest provider out there but definitely high quality based on my recent experience.

My husband and I hired Seatown to extend our gas line for a fire pit we're planning on installing in the next couple of weeks. Dillon Maneri came out several weeks ago, and gave us a quote. We called Seatown in the hopes they would come in a week before our patio gets built, and they got us on the books pretty quickly. Also appreciated the texts and email updates of when to expect the technician. Dillon was really wonderful to work with. Friendly, professional, accommodating and he did really great work. Really happy the gas line is installed and complete, and ready for the next phase of our project. Thanks again Dillon!

I called my regular plumbing company and several other to replace an under counter sink before contacting Seatown. Professional, kept me informed and the technician, Jacob was exceptional. I have used the same plumbing company for years for work on rental properties - going forward Seatown will be my go to company.
We needed a panel replacement and some other electrical work completed at our house. We got multiple estimates and the all came in around 4k.
Seatown came in at an astounding 10k.
So yeah... we're not hiring Seatown! Make sure you do your homework and don't get ripped off!
Dillon came out this morning to move a gasoline for our new kitchen remodel. He was polite, knowledgeable, and a delight to work with. The price was right too! Highly recommend.
We were looking to have some electric wall heaters replaces and add some recessed cans to our kitchen ceiling. They charged us $50 to come take a look and give us an estimate. After 3 weeks without an estimate, I asked for a refund of the $50. Two days later, I got the estimate. Most of it was for replacing the panel, the rest of the estimate was incomplete. If a company is going to charge for a estimate, it should be timely and complete.
Matt Miller and Justin Hardman are just winding up with the installation of two heat pumps in a home I just purchased in Seattle. They represent Seatown exceptionally, with both working hard throughout the day, yet taking time to answer questions. They are quite knowledgeable about their product ( Mitsubishi Heat Pumps) and you can tell, quite proud of their skills and work ethic. I highly recommend Seatown Electric if you are considering using highly efficient heat pumps for heating or cooling.
Mike and Jan McDaniel
Malik was a pleasure to work with. He was on time and was able to quickly resolve our electrical issue that we thought was going to take way more time and money to address. Highly recommend Malik and the rest of Seatown.
Seatown was a bit more expensive than some of the other electricians I got quotes from, but they were able to get out the same week when the others had one or two week lead times. Turns out that the reason I couldn't reset the breaker for my living room and was lacking electricity on that side of the house was that the breaker had been overheating and finally bit the dust. My technician, Micah, also proactively found another handful of breakers that were on their way to failure and a loose connection from the power main. Everything got fixed, and I couldn't have been happier about how it worked out.
I was going to not leave a review till i discovered that the holes that were drilled into the side of my siding were patched with non paintable silicone caulk...
I have used Seatown before and had a great experience. This time however was not the case. The main guy that came out to give me a quote did a great job. Even when he came back out to fix items there were left in a bad state he did a better job than the install team.
The home i bought was wire incorrectly by the contractor and i needed some fixes done. The main thing i had them come out for was to fix a recep and outside light that wold not work. There were some new receps installed, items split from one circuit to their own per code and install a car charging recep as well as install a new panel.
The panel work was good. most of the other work was good as far as i know considering a majority of it was under the house.
In the process of installing new receps there were 4 holes drilled through my siding. Two of them were an inch in size. I was pretty understanding about that and said to caulk it up with a paintable caulk so i could paint over it later. Well the caulk that was used is not paintable.... On top of that there was damage to my drywall that were rookie mistakes. For $8000 i expected more.
I unfortunately will not be able to recommend them.
The recep and light that were supposed to be fixed were never fixed. I ended up fixing it myself after finding that a wire in the recep before it had a cut neutral wire.
This my second time working with SeaTown Electric and to finish off a project done by another electrician. I wished my GC took into consideration in using SeaTown to begin with because they're amazing!! Their customer service is second to none! Matt, who came and conducted the estimate was on time, gave us a courtesy call when heading over, and answered all my questions without hesitation. Unlike other electricians I have used in the past they always are warm, easy to converse with and treat us with the up-most respect, and clearly showed that no project is too little or small to work on.
Their scheduling was easy! Just call and their crew will take it from there.
Brent, who was our Journey Man came on time, another wonderful courtesy call, reviewed the scope of the project, and went over step by step what he will be doing and why. He ensured his work space was cleaned after his service, gave some great recommendations how we can maximize our use of electricity and gave use some great insights.
It was a pleasure working with Brent and hope to work with him again in the near future!
We look forward to working with them again on our second phase of our remodel!
Thanks Guys!
Blaine and David came out to our house within an hour of us calling. They were gracious and exhaustive in helping to clear a drain backup. David ran a complementary sewer scope to ensure that the pathway was clear all the way to the City mainline. David spent a good chunk of time helping trace our water line as it was constructed over by a previous owner. Service was excellent, and would recommend again.
Get multiple quotes
Seatown quoted $550 to replace an electrical outlet with a recessed electrical outlet. Instead, I went to Home Depot, bought the $10 part and replaced it myself in 20 minutes. Be sure to get multiple quotes before you accept their price.
Just had 2 lights hung and 2 ceiling lights replaced by Ivan and Ryan. They were awesome!! The lights were up 2 stories and they got them all replaced in no time. Really professional and friendly. Highly recommended!!! The company was equally great, always in contact with me, and up to date with times they would be here. Will use them again if I ever need more work done

They came with masks and gave me an estimate. Then, said if I would like they could do it right then. They even took out the sink, did the plumbing work and then took the old sink and cabinet away for me. It was the full meal deal. The gents were personable and efficient.
As a property manager, I have dealt with about 10 different electric companies. My priority is communication and price. Seatown hit all the marks. When it came to my own home, I called Seatown. David came and was a pleasure to work with. He explained everything fully and didnt mind my dog licking his face off. Prices were reasonable and for the stuff I wasn't ready for, they provided quick quotes. I'm a fan, thank you David!

I needed help converting my Firebowl from propane to natural gas. Dillon showed up right on time, promptly converted the Firebowl and showed me how to go back and forth between the two fuel sources in the future. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and Covid safe. A very positive experience.
Props to Rodolfo P, Steven M, and Tyler D. These three guys took care of a whole slew of electrical problems that I had inherited from the previous homeowner. These three technicians were speedy, polite, and kept me informed of all progress and any surprises that cropped up. Highly recommend. Additionally, Brent S, who was the original technician who visited my home and who provided me the quote was very knowledgeable and helpful. I had to call him multiple times because I kept thinking of new items that I hoped he could build into the quote. He was very patient with me, and I appreciated his kindness and helpfulness. Thanks Seatown!
Everything was great, working with Seatown, specific to Electric services. Their office staff was prompt and organized, Colby (our electrician) was professional and showed up right on time, and I loved the text notification, letting you know they were on their way.
Good service and communication. Several text about timing, and arrived early. Prices were well explained so I could make an educated decision on the service I needed. I would use again.

We had a great experience from the start with Seatown. They do charge $49 for an estimate, but it's applied to your bill if you hire them. Each time we called the office, our call was promptly answered and we had a friendly voice that answered any questions we had. Prior to anyone coming to our home, we received text messages with the techs profile and photo so we knew who was going to be there. We also received text updates on timing of their arrivals, which is EXTREMELY helpful! Mitch came out to do our estimate, he was very friendly and gave us multiple comprehensive quotes to give us options. He answered any questions we had and we never felt any pressure. For the actual work, we had Jeremy and JR come out on two separate occasions, since we added on another service when they were here the first time. They were very prompt and efficient. They kept in mask the entire visit to respect COVID precautions. From the start, they put down floor coverings and draped our furniture to keep it clean. After the work was completed, they vacuumed and made sure all the trash was removed. The work they did was great- several fan installations, an outlet revision and placement of a new outlet in our bathroom. I'm addition, they were a lot of fun to talk with, were very friendly to our pets and even made extra care to not let our sneaky kitten out the door when they had to go in an out. They are probably pricier than the average operation, but I think the level of service makes it worth it.

On point on everything. Mitch & Austin were nice, courteous and professional. From the time I called and made an appointment to the time they got to my house, they were very clear and concise with their email and text communication. Service details was excellent- shoe covers and masks (Covid). Service time was good as well. They had to purchase a part and came right back and was able to finish the job. Mitch also took time to explain some future plumbing issues as well as some upgrades to my aging plumbing system. I am very impressed with Seatown and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

I received a quote but didn't have work performed by them. Stars are for cost, not quality of work.
Customer service/scheduling was great and the technician arrived on time for the quote, so that was all good.
However, consistent with some other recent reviews, I was shocked at the quoted price, which was 32% higher than the second-highest quote I received. With Seatown it was just over $1000 for installing a new 240V circuit in my garage and running the wire through a conduit for 20 ft.
I'm pretty sure this is typically a $300-500 job with normal electrician prices.
Getting multiple quotes is highly recommended.

So far, we're thrilled with Seatown. I sent out a ton of quote requests; they were the first to respond and first to quote. When I was feeling overwhelmed with all the different opinions, Bryan came over again with a no-BS opinion and we compared all the estimates.
For someone who doesn't know a thing about electricity, I deeply appreciated the extra time he took to explain things in layman's terms. Repeatedly. And to not drown me in up-selling other products.
We have them scheduled to install a fan in our bathroom and I'll update afterwards!
Seatown dispatched Dillon to our place to check out a gas leak. Great guy, found the small leak. Would recommend them. While he was here he gave us some ideas for other projects and did a quick once over of our other gas powered appliances and gave some helpful recommendations. And our dog appreciated his attention.
We had these guys out for one of their estimate and do sessions to install some ceiling fans. Their estimate came in twice what we ended up getting the work done for. They told us our panel needed to be replaced which the other electrician said was ridiculous. They even asked do you hear that buzzing? Unless you need something done for an absolute emergency and are interested in being up-sold, I would avoid these guys.

From scheduling to communications and being timely on their visit; the whole experience started on a positive and professional note.
Then David and Cody visited for scheduled maintenance.
Our experienced problem in this 60 years old house was blockage on 1.5 drain line. So they did a very through snaking job (with a power-feed drain cleaner) twice. Complete 100' length of that snake line went inside - all the way to sewer line. Lots of resistance and gunk on first run - second run took care of years of accumulation.
Both David and Cody not only did a superb job technically; they were very professional, yet sincerely communicative and informative. They took their time both on doing a very through job, but also explaining us what the process is - what would be the future considerations, as if they are doing on the job training for us. All of our questions are answered in complete detail.
Also they were very careful both for cleanliness in the house and with covid precautions too.
Few years ago we dealt with a roto-router tech. That was a dismal experience; specially after seeing level of service Seatown provided.
I wholeheartedly suggest Seatown for all your service needs. Hands down 5-stars at all fronts. Keep up the good work guys.
Fantastic professionalism and expertise! Malik and partner showed up on time, wearing a mask which I really appreciate during these times and asking smart questions to understand what I needed/wanted. I was looking for them to help us create an outlet above our fireplace for our mounted TV and with minimal wall damage and they exceeded my expectations! They only made one small hole and they were able to do everything within 45 min! Very clean, explained the whole process and most importantly they knew what they were doing. I'm very very very happy with the result and will not hesitate to contact Seatown Electric Services for any other needs.
You pay for what you get.
If I could give 6 or 7 stars here, I would. I had Jacob come out and give me an estimate on what it would cost to repipe the house which at the time things weren't going so well in my recently purchased home - everything was falling a part - and money was of major concern.
Straight up I couldn't afford Jacob / Seatown to do the work for that matter because I recently just paid a ton of $ on electrical. I knew he was incredibly qualified and who I really wanted at the onset though. You just knew from talking to him that he was the guy you wanted in your corner here. I was bummed but had to go with someone else's estimate. ...
I said everything was falling apart. Little did I know it would get 100x worse...the person I brought in didn't do 1/2 the things he was supposed to do let alone correct and to code. It was a babysitting nightmare. Long story short, I couldn't start putting walls back together knowing I could have a problem down the road. So I called Jacob...Needless to say, he came out assessed and gave me a quote. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Its weight in gold and then some! Jacob came out this time with his wing man Cody and basically put my life back together in an 2 days. You cant put a price tag on a good nights sleep and knowing things are done the right way.
Heres the kicker ... They assessed my damage on a Friday and the next open slot on their schedule was in 3 weeks. I was dying. Sensing my stress level... Not only did they come out -they came out the next day on a Saturday when they didn't have to after working a back to back nightmarish job prior to doing mine!!!! I cannot thank these guys enough. They legitimately saw my distress and dug me out of a hole in no time . I am truly truly thankful for these guys. Thats character. You cant buy that, its innate. So, with that said - a company like Seatown to hire stand up guys like this says something at the top. ( I can honestly say that because I had a couple guys come out and do my electrical panel as well. Again, stand up dudes.) Jacob and Cody take the cake though. If you have a plumbing issue. Hands down -you want Jacob & Cody. They are on your side and that is very very hard to find these days.
I don't write reviews but for these guys I had to. My disaster turned into making friends for life with these two and thats all you can ask for. I salute you both.

Great job very friendly and professional. Would definitely hire again!
He did a great job. The electricity was out in one corner of the house. The first electric company I called came but couldn't figure it out, but the Seatown guy found and fixed the problem. Also gave me useful information about what was going on. All that I could ask for!
Bottom line? They are hugely over priced.
On the plus side, I can say that the technician they sent was very nice. He looked at two projects and gave estimates of the cost, then repaired a light switch. He was there for an hour and the actual labor took much less than that. The total cost $467.
Now for the really bad news: To install a 23 lb chandelier? They estimated over $1000. Mind you, this is a relatively straightforward job. It replaces one above an average height stairwell with an open hall at the top.
Another guy quoted $425 but said it could be less if the space ends up being rated for that particular weight.
The chandelier cost less than $400 so I'll be returning it. I'm hoping you yelpers will see this and save some money.
Hey Seatown: A shout out to Anthony Velasquez/Plumber. Thanks so much for saving the day Anthony!! so appreciate you:
My kitchen plumbing developed a leak this weekend, and
Anthony came out as quickly as possible on Monday morning. Not only did he determine quickly the problem, it was a quick fix switching of waterlines to their proper side (cold and hot were connected incorrectly). He determined the issue to be resolved by switching of hot/cold water lines and a loose cartridge for my kitchen faucet. This installation was done 2 months ago by another (not to be called again plumber). Not only did Anthony correct the problem, he did not charge me for the effort. I was on a video work call at the time, and was not able to thank him personally, my daughter did, however I wanted to express my continued appreciation in knowing my go to folks at Seatown have integrity and do the right thing by the customer. Thanks so much Anthony and Seatown for employing knowledgeable, efficient, nice, honest people such as Anthony. Also, thanks to the call center person who was also helpful in getting this call scheduled promptly. You made my Day!

Malik at Seatown found a really creative solution to my wiring repair job and saved me a ton of drywall repair work. He was super fast and very professional. Thanks Malik!

I am so impressed by Cody Barlow when we had a issue with the dishwasher at our house. He took time to investigate to find out what the root problem was. and on top of that we took a look at the bathroom issue at the same time and quickly contacted with his office by sending pictures, and found out that pipes underneath was not up to the code. From quote to scheduling was so smooth! I sometimes frustrated by other company that it takes much longer to fix a small problem but those guys are very efficient and know the value of our time.
Very pleased with Seatown and everyone I've interacted with. The work is great and they were extremely professional in all aspects. There was a scheduling issue that was entirely my fault and they were so kind when adjusting the appointment.
Professional and honest. I called Seatown after Brennan quoted me $1200 to fix an issue with a water heater that they installed a few months prior. There was a gas leak coming from one of the pipes attached to the new heater. Brennan came out and said I needed to replace all the pipes and it would be $1,200. This is another story for a different Yelp review. Anyway, I called several companies, few of which could see me that day (gas leaks are emergencies). Seatown came highly recommended, so I called them. The wait would be 3 hours since Andrew was on Camano Island, but I was good with that. I paid the $75 diagnostic fee (they all have that), and Andrew showed up to tell me that he tightened a few things...a 30 second fixand there would be no extra charge. I asked Andrew to double and triple check. He did. I told him about Brennan, and he replied that the job was really nothing, and that he was happy to help. Not only do I recommend Seatown, but I also recommend 2nd opinions, even for a diagnostic charge! So far so good, no gas leak anymore.

I would not use SeaTown Electric for any work on my house.
They were prompt on install and scheduling a Tesla charger but both the sales person and electricians recommended services that I later found out were odd and seemed like an attempt to extract money from me.
I was told fuse boxes need maintenance every two years. Call me naive but I trusted their recommendation on having them check my fuse box while they installed a charger for my Tesla. This additional service on top of the install cost over 700 dollars.
After consulting neighbors, google and another electrician about what type of service is required for a fuse box I can only say I feel cheated. My house is only three years old.
It is what it is and in the end SeaTown Electric extractced more money from me. In my opinion it was not worth it as I will be leaving negative reviews online and will not be using their service again.
Per their technicians request they asked me to mention their names in my review - Tyler R. And Bradley M. Are not my preferred electricians to do any work on my house.
Really helpful and went above and beyond to help me with another issue I had that I hadn't mentioned previously. It was a wonky chandelier I needed replaced and the new one was really a pain to install, but he was very professional and thorough! Keeping their info on hand for next time!

We received the best customer service that we have ever received with any company ever! We we're desperate for someone to come out same day and they found a way to accommodate us even though their schedule was full. Our technician was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond in solving our problem and helping us know how to avoid future problems. Even the receptionist, when we initially called, was the most friendly and accommodating of any other company we spoke to. Customer service and work ethic with this company are beyond compare and they are reasonably priced. I cannot recommend Seatown enough! We will definitely use them in the future.

Seatown electricians installed two plug-ins on my house today. The job was professionally done, beautifully done as well. they wore masks and the job was done in a quick timing too. the plug in for my pump was a dedicated plug and it works perfectly and in a spot that reaches the pump perfectly. also installed a house plug in exchanging a faulty plug on my house. it works great and the plug-ins are so beautiful. I am so happy to have called Seatown because I couldn't have gotten a better electrician.

Seatown was great! Dillon arrived promptly for an estimate. After examining our gas line, he realized that he was missing a specialty part but instead of scheduling a new time he ran to a local hardware store to pick it up. He was back in 10 minutes and quickly finished the work needed on our gas line. It was quick, easy, and done well.
Dear SeaTown Electric Heating and Air
I want to let you know about the professional and courteous customer service I received from Bekah on Nov 27, around 8:17am, as well as the person who responded to a website chat around 10pm on Nov 26 during our electrical emergency.
Although it turned out that your company was not able to assist us as we live in condo building (i.e., commercial electric), Bekah was very supportive and referred us to a commercial electrician, which was able to solve our electrical woes.
We very much appreciate her taking the time to assist us, and look forward to recommending SeaTown Electric Heating and Air to friends and family.
Kind regards,
Franklin
This was the first time that I have considered this service was so good that I called our salesman, Cody, to praise the service technicians who had installed our new furnace. Kudos to Justin Hardman! Even though it was the day before Thanksgiving, they managed to squeeze us in. When they got our furnace running around 3 pm-they stayed another good hour, cleaning up and making sure all our questions were answered to our satisfaction. And they still had two more service calls to make that evening. Dedicated professionals for sure!
I am shocked at how this company stays in business but suppose it's bc people don't get other quotes and agree to pay Seatown's astronomical prices. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. We originally found Seatown when looking for electricians. They came out and did a free estimate but the quote for work was unbelievable! $700 just to hang one light! Total was like $1700. We found another great company to do the entire job (and more) for the cost of just the light ($700). We also know commercial electricians who Told us the prices we were quoted are totally nuts and not to pay that. We wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, and reached out again for an AC repair quote, and were told it would cost $180 to just come out to provide an estimate. completely insane!!! Home Depot does free estimates, btw and the other places we've heard back from have been approx dramatically less. Seatown - Your markup is crazy as well as their inconsistency. Free estimates for electric work but almost $200 for AC estimate? Makes no sense. Save yourself the time, and find another company!

Tyler and Steve came to replace our panel. They were very professional and kid friendly. They did a great job just like the first time we called Seatown to solve a different electrical problem. We have an old house that needs lots of work and we will be calling them again for future work.

Had someone come out to my employers house to instal a light and look at the motion sensor light that was not working. He looked at the light said its a motion sensor, thats working on a timer. ( I assumed he checked it) Was charged 250 for them to tell me that, however it was not working hence why I asked him to look at it! So we found ourselves on a ladder taking it a part and pointing the motion sensor down because its was pointing the wrong direction. So pretty much paid 250 for a guy to inform me of something we knew, he didn't check the sensor or if it was working. I called to ask about it and never heard back! Would NEVER recommend this company. It's good work ethics to call a someone back and at least talk to them. This is what is wrong with the world now days people care more about money then people!!!! TERRIBLE company!!!!!
Just finished a full rewire + moving of the electric box / power line drop. Smooth process from day 1. Our tech Thomas L was very hardworking and clearly communicated from start to finish. I highly recommend this company to get the job done right!
Seatown installed a minisplit heat pump with indoor ceiling cartridge unit. They didn't have an an easy time but made sure i was satisfied. Excellent follow through and results. Reasonable price.
Seatown just completed replacing all of my recessed lighting! Taylor and Rudolpho were very professional and courteous. Great customer service and exemplary young men! Wish all my projects went this smoothly!
From the first contact with the office to the end of the job it was perfect!!'when I made first contact, i was impressed as the woman who answered the phone was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, courteous etc. i always dread work done on my house because it seems so often people are not well trained etc. well that's not the case with seatown. i had almost given up the idea of getting an AC after dealing with two well known companies last year. But i dreaded the heat this year so decided to get a third quote. i called seatown, was a bit concerned since they are a newer company. however, they made it so easy compared to the other two companies. I didn't know much about a mini split, so, Matt C. the sales person they sent educated me. He was patient, professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. His quote was clear and concise, easy to understand. he informed me of all options, but never pressured me toward any of them. it was a great experience compared to what i'd dealt with before. I signed the agreement and was scheduled, hoping the other personnel would be like him. I had some difficulty deciding where to place the unit in the bedroom and he suggested over the closet which was perfect, the other two companies gave me NO options. then I was concerned where to place the outdoor unit so it wouldn't look bad outside my home, so he sent Ryan, the project manager over to help me go over all options. And Ryan was just as great as Matt. he found a perfect spot for it, so that it looks nice etc. Then we went over all options for the installation such as where drains would come out etc. then came the day of installation, and again I worried having dealt with so many installer people in the past that i needed to supervise. however here came Andy with Casey and Ryan also showed up so that we could all go over all the options i had chosen as to where things would go (drains etc). Well they certainly didn't need any supervision, they were great involving me when necessary, so professional, really knew what they were doing and were so courteous and nice in my home as well. they treated it like their own and when they left they left it spotless. Then James the electrician came with his apprentice, Austin. Same thing, really an expert, professional etc. and did a great job and again left the premises spotless. After all this I dealt with Lexi to finalize getting paperwork, inspections etc. and the same thing, totally professional, courteous, helpful and patient with my needs. I absolutely cannot recommend SeaTown highly enough. oh, and after it was all installed a few days later i realized i had a couple questions on the filter, i texted Matt, my sales person and he called back immediately and answered my questions. so after installation service has been excellent too. And they quoted a competitive price. I am thrilled with SeaTown from beginning to end.
Had them come out to do some work about a year ago -upgrade electrical panel. Thought it was fine, flash forward a year and I am selling my house. Inspection found a 'hot' wire, broken panel door, and bad/improper roof flashing where the wire comes into the house. Disappointed.

They were very responsive on initial engagement, gave me an fyi when en route, and notified me of whom to expect. Had three different teams over the assessments and work orders but they were all top notch and there was no slowdown in work even with multiple teams. Knew their stuff. Documented everything. Explained things well. Kept things clean and cleaned up afterwards. Gave me my options. Walked me through the estimate and invoice. When I had a question/issue afterwards, they followed up and resolved it. Pros.
Wanted an electrician to come diagnose why my heater wasn't working and to fix an outlet.
After about an hour of working he determined the heater needed to be replaced and oh.. Since my condo is 4 stories instead of 3 he can't work on it. Why wouldn't they ask that on the phone or notice it as soon as he got here?
I ended up buying a new heater to replace my existing one to do it myself, but I realized the existing one WASN'T CONNECTED. How could you miss that as an electrician? I wired it up and in about 5 minutes had it working.
I will say I wasn't charged for the visit and he did give me a free light switch, but still felt like I wasted my time.

Our potential project is to replace some old knob and tube in our wonderful old house. Bryan and Scott came out on time, communicated they're arrival time in advance and were thoughtful and informative in doing the assessment. The bid came back the same day, a tad bit higher than we expected. We have not commissioned any work to be done yet as we are evaluating integrating a remodel project.
Great experience on my furnace yearly service. Tyler was very thorough on his inspection and very informative. He even gave me some tips on things I could do to improve my heating system. I would definitely hire them again.
I'm editing and updating this review. Though I am still encountering things in my house that melted during the 99 degree fiasco, like my ibuprofen liquicaps, Seatown has fixed the damage that was done. The thermostat that they destroyed the first day has been fixed. The cooling and heating works as it should. It took many visits and a lot of hard work on their part, and I really appreciated their desire to get it all fixed. In the end, all is well.
I thought for a long time about this next step-- but I decided to give them another chance and have them do the HVAC maintenance for my office. They did that yesterday, and were on time, informative and helpful. The cost is about what I would have expected. I can't bring myself to make it a 5-star review, but I am still doing business with them, which is a remarkable turn-around after the initial disaster.
I have had Seatown Services had come out previously for a plumbing project. I recently had them come out for an inspection and cleaning of you furnace. Brian the Technician who came out was amazing. He was very informative and knowledgeable about HVAC units and went through many different checks of the system. He was able to get things cleaned and keep us running as efficient as we can, since our unit is very old. He provided some suggestions for future plans and reminded me about regular maintenance of filters and cleaning to extend the current life as well. Love that I can make one call and have some many services available to keep my home in great working condition.
I had a great experience with Thomas and Tyler. They installed a 60 amp breaker and a Tesla wall connector home charger that I provided. We had to run the wire & conduit out of the breaker closet in my garage and along the ceiling. We brainstormed the best way to do it to minimize disruption to the garage, and left things in perfect shape. I recommend these guys' work unconditionally.
We were very happy with SeaTown. They installed a four-zone heat pump HVAC system in our house in Ballard. Brandon, Cody and the team are always super friendly, honest, patient when explaining what they are doing and what to expect. The installers and electricians take the time to talk through how they plan to install the system and where all the ductwork will go before actually proceeding which I found very refreshing and different than most contractors. I would highly recommend them to other homeowners and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again myself.
SeaTown EH&A rocks. It was two weeks out to get an appointment scheduled (which was a bummer), and it was supposed to be an estimate only, but after Matt arrived at my house and saw that it was a simpler job than expected, he connected my hot tub up in less than 30 minutes. He was very clear with the cost and what he was going to do and how long it would take.
Pros - SeaTown provides exceptional customer service. I worked with Jim and he was honest and open throughout the process. I loved my interaction with him. Thank you for providing excellent customer service. They were prompt, provided detailed estimates and knew what they were taking about.
Cons- They are expensive, at least by 30-50%. As a result, I ended up using someone else to get my hvac and EV charger installed. I wish they were able to match prices as I would have loved for them to do the work since my interaction with them was so positive. Maybe next time.

Good: They seem to take good care of their employees. The work was done fast and pretty accurate. They showed up on time, didn't leave a mess and were friendly. After pointing at the error, they didn't argue about it and put the right breaker instead. Inspection of the work went well.
Not Good: As certified Tesla installers, they should've known that it's recommended to connect the wall charger to a 60A breaker to provide 48A of charge. This is specified in the freaking manual, whole Internet 'knows' about it : tesla.com/support/home-c…. Instead, they tried to put a 50A breaker. I didn't wait enough to find out what setting were they going to put on the charger - 40A, 48A ?
They are the most expensive on the market. Out of 5 quotes I got, they asked at least 20-30% more.
They assured me that the inspector will drop by on specific date. I worked from home only to find out that it's not going to happen. Had to take another day off. To be fair, in the email I got 5 days later, they mentioned that the specific date is not guaranteed, but it differs from what I heard from the technician.
They installed my Tesla charger, although it took them to do minor work the 2nd time in order to pass the inspection, overall I am happy with the work they did. Not certain the installation fee is the best but their high ratings was the driver for my decision to use their service. Recommended!
Acually Lorissa is one of the smartest and nicest people I'v meet I would recommend her business anytime.

Entire experience with SeaTown from beginning to end was just excellent. I really appreciated how organized everything was from scheduling to installation.... no surprises, extremely professional and zero stress. On time, in budget and exactly what they said they would do. Really couldn't ask for more. We had three vanity light chandeliers installed and I requested an estimated quote in advance to ensure that I would know what to expect. Everything was as projected from a cost perspective - they are not the least expensive (which is fine) because their service is amazing and they get it done right the first time.

Brandon and Anthony did a great job with my electrical work. I had a laundry list of things to do: fix a few dead outlets, move a light switch, install a ceiling fan, add some additional lighting, and so on. They did all of these things extremely well, and they worked FAST. The job finished ahead of schedule, their work is top notch, and the price was extremely reasonable. Super, super happy with SeaTown Electric, had a great experience with them once again.
The estimation process was fast to get on property and efficient in getting a quote back within days. The working pair of Brandon and Ryan were efficient in working with our plaster and lathe walls in getting new plugs in the garage, basement recreation room. The job ended with a clean working space. Appreciated their work ethic and service.

For almost 10K USD, we simply expect more.
hope all homeowners can be smarter than me and don't make similar mistakes
We had trip off problems with 2 rooms and were planning on building a home theatre so we called Seatown electric.
1) first guy came to our house said they will install 2 dedicated circuit to my desktops and did not mention a single word that we need to replace our panel. on the day the came in i pointed that out and they wanted and charged me $604 more just for adding the missing circuit.
my mistake: i did not double check his writing, he wrote that they will install 1 dedicated circuit with 2 outlets to desktop computers
my mistake 2: i should've stop their work at that moment rather than continuing my false trust on them
2) they asked us to provide 5.1 speakers, didn't mention any potential issue that our room structure may have issue that we need to change the direction of home theater to get the surrounding speakers mounted on the wall
my mistake: should've never trusted a company that doesn't do design or doesn't even go through the design with customer
3) the day they came in and saying our panel doenn't have enough breaker space to install new circuits so they need to charge $2450 more to install a new panel and throw away the old one.
my mistake: although what has to be done needs to be done, i should've never allowed such kind of on the fly adding charges happen.
4) they drilled more than 10 holes (5-6 inch diameters each) on my dry walls to do inwall wiring and when i ask them to cover it with some plastic covers, they replied in email says Yeah we don't do drywall repair. That would be done by another company. before i received this reply, i was only concerned, i would give them 4 star out of five etc, but now they leave me the only choice to give them 1 star, if not zero.
Great, so the time they mentioned that they need to drill on the drywall, they never mentioned that I the homeowner paid more than 10K USD need to fix it.
5) i provided speaker wall mount unit that with pre-settup wire hole in the mount panel. they just install it without properly wire speaker cable through the panel, making it exetremely ugly. but i explictedly had a discussion with them and showed them pictures that how i wanted it to be done.
6) no any spec of inwall wiring or so ever. they use the cheapest wiring they can find on the market. in wall 12 gauge speaker wire for about 40 feet in wall wiring? no, they installed 16 gauge wire. although it's barely under the maximum length of 16 gauge, it's just making me feel like paying $50 bucks for a McDonald's burger.
as I am typing, i'm kinda surprised that how stupid i was and how much money i wasted. but to help future homeowners avoid this kind of unhappy experience. i'm sending this out.
I had Seatown electrician Thomas and his helper (sorry didn't get his name), to install two new chandeliers. They came right on time, took off their shoes, explained the job and got right to work. They did an awesome job in a very timely fashion and were very professional while doing it. I am beyond happy with my new lights and the work the guys did. We are slowly updating our older house and I will call them to do any and all electrical work because I know they will do the job right.
I got a heat pump quote and a panel/service upgrade quote in one day.
Heat Pump: The quote was higher than all the others I got. It was somewhat itemized, but not enough to be immediately useful in comparison. I did the math on the equipment, line-sets, covers etc, and figured out that their hourly rate was approximately $450 an hour. The highlight of the quote was installing 6 feet of Speedi Channel for $500. It's about a $60 part that would take less than 30 minutes to install. So that validates the math I did on the total quote of $450 hourly. When I questioned the sales guy about it he became defensive and told me it was difficult because it was ladder work. I've got a one story house, putting up really simple plastic trim isn't rocket science. The other aspect is that if you are eligible for a Mitsubishi rebate, they do their best to eat as much of it as they can, I validated this by requesting a quote for a non-hyper heat pump that was not eligible for a rebate. The quote was roughly the same as it was without the $2k rebate, and the cost difference in equipment to go hyper is roughly $500.
Electrical: The guy who quoted my electrical seemed really knowledgeable, but frankly this was the worst thing of all. I was looking for a new panel and service upgrade. He did the quote on an ipad in my kitchen, and whipped out a sheet of paper with boilerplate prices in the format of 'good better best'. Good was Eaton BR for $3800, better was Eaton CH for $4200, and best was Eaton CH with a surge suppressor for $4600 (prices are a rough recollection, I still have the sheet, I should really frame it).
First of all holy fuck an electrician should never give you a quote that isn't based on the work they are doing. This should scream that you are getting ripped off. Second, the price difference between the Eaton BR and CH panels is like $50. There is no difference in the installation, the only thing it might be covering is more expensive CH breakers, but we aren't talking much. So they wanted $350 for nothing. Then for the 'best' level they installed a surge suppressor worth around $100 for an extra $400. So $300 for them to install something that requires no actual additional work. What a deal!
The entire electrical quote was $10,000. The next guy I called came out and quoted me $4200 for exactly the same thing (Eaton CH) with a better proposal for routing the service conduit on the outside of the house. Yes, you read that right: I got all of the work done for the same price that Seatown wanted just for the panel alone. Seatown wanted $5800 extra... for marketing I guess? Forget these people.
We've moved to Seattle from Pittsburgh in the last year, and something we've noticed is that customer service here (especially in regards to the housing market) is severely lacking. I'm assuming because there is such a great need contractors, etc, no longer feel the need to provide great service. Purchasing and servicing a new house in this market has been brutal! Each person we've had has been ok, but really, really subpar in comparison to any city other than Seattle. I get it, they don't need the business, so they don't have to try. However, SeaTown Electric was outstanding from start to finish - regardless of the geographic location! They have been timely, polite, communicative, and overall leaps and bounds better than any other contract-type business I've come across in Seattle. I would highly recommend their service!
From the beginning when Matt came for a free estimate, he diagnosed something as a quick fix, that another electrician was ready to rip open our walls for an exploratory search. Today we had Blake and his apprentice service the job order, and they were fast, friendly, and efficient! Immediately after the job was finished the SeaTown dispatch called to make sure everything was up to our liking, which I think was just above and beyond. They're also super great with sending emails reflecting estimates, appointments, technicians, etc. Great company!!
Shaun and his trainee Tyler just completed their install at my home in W. Sea.
Not only was the work done on time, as quoted, but with a professional as positive attitude.
It's always good to have knowledgeable people come into your home to do work, and it's always s big bonus when you can tell they really take pride in what they
are doing. Both Shaun and Tyler exuded those qualities in spades. They genuinely want you to be happy with their work.
SeaTown's scheduling, record keeping and billing uses the latest online programs. First class company.
Excellent service. I had an issue with leaky HVAC exhaust slowly compromising my water heater. Next in line was my furnace. Time for an update. Got three bids. Only two of three figured out the core issue. SeaTown did...and with competitive price, good advice and explanations all around, quick turnaround, and a solution that will keep me from having to think about that part of my house for years to come. Installation techs Ryan and Brian did an excellent job, and finished earlier than planned. Recommended!

Excellent service all the way around! They were the first company to respond to my inquiry regarding our electrical projects. They were able to schedule us within a week for an estimate. Matt was on time, personable and through. Blake and his partner were two hours early and did an awesome job and even helped sell us a surge protector for our whole home to protect our appliances. I hope they all get bonuses for their amazing work.

Seatown Electric is probably the best company for electric work at home. I called about 3 other companies that didn't pick up the phone or only had appointments for 2 weeks out. Seatown employees answered my phone call at first ring and scheduled a tech visit for 4 days after. The technician (Aaron) was very knowledgeable and super professional, solved my issue in about 5 mins: GFCI outlet issue. I recommend their service hands down
We had our furnace serviced. The technician was very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the problem. He also found a problem with the wiring and the thermostat that was preventing the furnace from running efficiently. He took the time to explain the resolution and answered all our questions. Thank you Tyler for the great customer service!
Update to my review below. Cody called from Seatown and was very concerned about our issue. Not only did he credit the diagnostic, he credited the cost of the other company we hired. I do feel they really worked to make it right, and this was an unusual incident for them.
I hired Seatown because of the mostly positive Yelp reviews, and since our normal repair folks were busy. Our furnace was shutting off intermittently, but we could always get it restarted. There was a snow storm coming so I thought we should fix it. Seatown came here, couldn't find the model number of our furnace, guessed based on another furnace and said they didn't make parts for it anymore. Said we needed to buy another furnace since they could not get parts and the part we needed was a circuit board. The cost was between $5,000-$6,000. When they left, we had no heat as they said they could not get it working.
We called our normal repair team at another company and they said that our ignitor had been unplugged, so that is why it would not turn on. They easily found the model number and said that parts were available locally and they could get in 1 day. The furnace was working again, even without the repair, since they plugged in the ignitor. The issue was actually the gas valve and they are ordering the part. So the cost to repairs is $500 installed vs. the $5-$6K Seatown quoted me for a new furnace.

We had accidentally drilled a hole where electric wires were routed and had tripped breaker. We received a few quotes and seatown electric by far was the most reasonly priced and could fit us in the soonest. They were very professional and knowledgeable about how to fix issue. I would highly recommend hiring seatown electric for your electrical needs.
Hired seatown to fix a GFI outlet that caused my washer, kitchen outlets, bathroom outlets, kitchen lights, range ig iron, and garbage disposal to stop working.
After many hours and a $300 diagnosis fee, I was told that with another $2000 to run a new line to the GFI outlet and another line for the washer, everything would definitely be fixed.
After *$2,300* my kitchen lights still dont work. I called and got a response that they would look into it. I had told a friend the price before the job and he was flabbergasted by the price, and later more so that it didnt even fix the problem.
I only gave 2 stars because Taylor the electrician who ran the lines was professional and polite.
I had an electrical issue recently with an outlet that had me calling electricians all over town to find someone to come troubleshoot the issue. I called about 5 or 6 different companies, and most of them went straight to voicemail, except for Seatown Electric. One company I called that didn't go straight to voicemail gave me an availability of a month and a half out. I don't think she even listened to me when I said that I needed someone right away and that it was a potential emergency and just said that they were the best and that I should book them (??).
The woman who answered for Seatown was courteous and professional and answered all my questions. They had availability just a few days out but I ended up requesting an emergency visit which they accommodated -- and it was good to know that they offer this service for future reference.
The 2 repairmen who arrived were extremely professional and courteous and answered all of my questions. Even helped me change out a light bulb that was up in a high ceiling.
I would definitely call this company again for future repairs and other electrical work. Their rates were very reasonable and in line with what others were charging.
The only reason this was not 5 stars is because my issue ended up being minor and I ended up having to pay a lot for the service (additional emergency request fee) and wished I could have gotten a first-time customer discount.
Matt came to our house and helped us solve the electric issues with the pump system. He is very nice and professional. He found out the problem quickly and fixed it well. He knows pretty much, very confident with what he is doing. Besides, he found some other electric safety issues in our house. Very helpful.
Super happy with everything! Aaron came out initially to assess what we wanted and give us our quote. Scheduling was a piece of cake, Niki and Makayla were both super nice and communicative sending necessary reminders of the work which was much appreciated. I wasn't home when Aaron came back with Joe to perform the work but my partner had no complaints whatsoever. They arrived and got right to work finishing a couple hours earlier than expected. Super happy with the lights!! Would definitely recommend SeaTown Electric to friends and use them in the future! Thanks again!
SeaTown was great to work with and did the job well. We had a lot of electrical work - install track lighting, replace many fixtures, add some fixtures inside and outside the house, dimmers and other miscellany. They did a good job, including (after our approval) adding a new electrical panel because we had a lot of new Mitsubishi ductless heat/cool units and the board was getting overloaded. They showed up on time and complete a lot of work in a day and a half. Highly recommended.
Had Brandon come out for a bid which was quick and professional. When Matt and Tyler came to actually perform the work they were on time, professional and courteous. Installed a sub-panel in the detached garage. The work was done well and I am very happy. Matt actually found an issue with some of my other wiring and was able to provide me another bid with different options to rewire.

Ivan's visit today is my second experience with Seatown Electric. I've written a five star review of my first experience. Today, Ivan called to let me know he was on the way and check to be sure that worked for me.
When he arrived, he was pleasant, professional and took plenty of time to answer my questions. He worked steadily and fixed the problem I had. I recommend Seatown without reservation.
I had Brandon come out and update some electrical outlets. He was AMAZING. Super friendly, easy to work with, broke down the cost, signed my name, and then he was done in maybe an hour or two. I will definitely be using this service again. The pricing was reasonable as well. I highly recommend!
These guys did a great job installing some ceiling fans in our new home! On time (actually a little early, even better!), professional, worked efficiently and cleaned up before they left! Everything I expect and appreciate in a company! We just moved to the area and are grateful to have found them!! We already have them coming back to do our furnace servicing! Thanks for the great job!!
Seatown Electric installed a new bus panel/breaker box, two new ceiling light fixtures and three pocket lights. The two man electrician team were Jeff and Philip. Both of their knowledge and ability were outstanding. Not only that, but Jeff and Philip were extremely professional, kept the job site clean by using drop clothes and swept up when they were done. They helped give me options of where the ceiling fixtures could look best. They also fixed a few other things that I asked them to fix that wasn't on my work order, and they were like yeah, no problem we'll fix it. Exemplary professionalism from Jeff and Philip. I'm really happy with the work that was done.
Quick response to my need for a furnace replacement bid. Great communication from the office to the field.
Matt and Drew with Seatown were great. Professional, quick, courteous, and got the job done. We had a light/fan bathroom combo installed and another wire needed to be run for the fan. Would recommend to friends.
As a long time Seattle Realtor, I have always been in situations with having to find a good contractor in a timely manner. Some are just too busy on big projects, or don't have enough staff to support the residential customers, or are booked out several weeks. Just recently, I happened to contact over 20 companies, for an emergency heating/ductwork issue that seemed to involve the roof on a townhome, that came up just two days before closing! All of these 20 companies I called refused to come out and diagnose/repair the work when I told them it was a townhome, or said they couldn't come out for 4-6 weeks. Some said they would not be willing to go up on the roof, even with permission from the HOA. After calling all these companies, only Seatown was willing to come out, within a day or two of my initial contact, and they performed their initial diagnostic/quote, and then performed the work in just a few days. It saved the closing, so that we could close only a few days late, and the buyer had a home that was professionally repaired before he purchased. And I had a new contractor to add to my database of reputable contractors! Thank you Cody and Seatown.
Ivan and Tyler were both great. Arrived on time, ended earlier than estimated time. Very professional as well. Covered all the stuff in the living room including the floor and still cleaned up afterwards.
Brandon and Philip were a pleasure to work with. They were hired to replace all panels, outlets, light switches, etc. for a 4plex. Brandon was the journeyman leading the way and he communicated with me day or night, sent progress pictures, and kept me informed as he was doing the work. He also found a shower leak under the crawl space and I was able to get that fixed before the wood started to rot. I would not have known until it was too late if he didn't tell me. Before I hired them, I received three quotes. They gave the best price and the best experience-a win win. I couldn't be happier with the work done, and they will be my first call for any future electrical work. Thanks again Brandon and Philip! -Kevin
A great experience from start to finish.
I had SeaTown install new recessed lighting in three rooms, upgrade my other existing recessed lighting to LED, and a number of other small electrical fixes and upgrades. The entire process, from start to finish, was professional and timely. The workers made good suggestions for changes and improvements along the way and I'm very happy with the results.
For my next project I will definitely be calling on SeaTown again!
We were very happy with SeaTown. Their bid was complete and straightforward. They came on time and cleaned up well after themselves. Our house looks great with all new light fixtures and our old knob and tube is gone!
Very happy with the electrical work SeaTown did in our house. From the beginning, Bryan was quick to respond and was able to do a quote right away. When we made changes to the original work order, Bryan came back the second time to give us another quote. Two other bidders never returned our call when told about the changes. SeaTown may not be the lowest bidder but their customer service is second to none. Blake, the electrician who did the actual work, was professional, courteous and do great work. We will definitely call them again for future electrical work.
Michael did an annual check-up of my furnace, and was happy to answer my many questions and teach me all about my furnace. He wore a mask, and it was warm enough that we could keep the garage door open for COVID-19 safety. He is probably the most intelligent contractor I have ever hired across any field and also one of the most helpful and pleasant to interact with. He discovered that the second stage of my two-stage furnace had never been connected to my thermostat, so he fished the wire that was buried deep in the wall out and fixed that. He cleaned and inspected my furnace carefully and thoroughly and recommended adding some missing insulation and redoing a bad glue job from a different company. My furnace didn't have a way to remove one of its parts for inspection, so he inspected it with a camera and checked that the voltages, currents, and resistances of the various components were correct. My only regret is that I didn't hire Michael to inspect my furnace sooner.

We had a complicated furnace move and the crew at Seatown did a fabulous job! It took almost two days and on day 2 they had five guys here working so we could have heat that night. From our first phone call to the last handshake they are very professional and work really hard to make sure the customer gets what they are looking for. Namely more headroom in the basement with ductwork up in the joists for a future exposed ceiling. We will definitely be calling Seatown for any future furnace needs!
I contacted Seatown for a quote on AC, fully expecting them to cost more (based on Yelp reviews and the responses from Seatown). I figured that I was interested to see how much more it would cost to go with a reliable, honest company. They did cost more, which I was fine with, but I also found them to be very dishonest.
The salesman did not come with him own ladder, so we had to get my ladder out to get into our attic to look at where the AC unit would go (next to the furnace). Even then, he only poked his head in and didn't really look at it. The salesmen then spent quite a bit of time explaining how it was installed incorrectly and unprofessionally. He also made sure to let me know that my furnace was a single stage, single speed and that it wasn't very nice. Completely unprompted, he also told me that my wife wouldn't be happy with our water heater (even though she is) and spent about half of his pitch trash talking the other companies we were considering.
After he left I did some research on my furnace. It turns out that, according to the manual for my furnace, it was installed correctly. My furnace is also a nice two stage, variable speed furnace. I emailed him asking how he knew my furnace (which he only saw from a distance) was single stage and single speed. He doubled down and said he knew the model number. When pressed it was clear that he didn't know the model number and that he was either incompetent or lied to make the original installer look bad (at the expense of making me worry that I bought a crappy home).
Overall, it was a terrible experience. After all of the lying and misinformation that I could verify, I wouldn't have chosen Seatown even if it was the same price. It's possible that this specific salesman doesn't accurately represent the company. But even then, there are indicators that the company is dishonest. He gave us a flyer that showed their HVAC competitors and their yelp/angie's list reviews. It showed that they have 4.5 stars and everyone else had 2.5-3 stars. That would be fine, except for the fact that they left out the other companies that have 4-5 stars (including Better Air NW, Black Lion, Overlake Heating and Air Conditioning, etc.). I only talked with Better Air NW (which gets far better reviews that Seatown) and Black Lion, but both of them seem far more honest and I would choose either of them over Seatown in a heartbeat. If the company prints such a deceptive flyer, it indicates to me that the dishonesty goes beyond this individual salesman.
Again, I was willing to consider higher costs. But if you justify higher costs by touting your superior reputation, you better be honest with your customers.
I had Seatown Electric Heating and Air come out to our house yesterday to do some electrical work. Aaron Olson was the technician that came and he was great! Price was cheaper then expected, time to do the work was less then expected and he was really a stand up guy. Would give more then 5 stars if I could. Highly recommended!
We recently installed a ductless air conditioner and heater system at our house in Seattle through Seatown. We got 3 estimates total and found Seatown to be the most affordable and reliable. Davis was the one who came out to give us an estimate from Seatown. He was on time, very professional, and really good at following up! He was the only one of the three who sent us a text and a post card to follow up after emailing the estimate. We were very impressed! Thank you Davis! Seatown was very accommodating in terms of scheduling the installation in a timely manner and communicating any changes with us. Every time they sent someone out, we got confirmation texts from Seatown the morning of with the name, picture, and short bio of the person which was very nice and reassuring. Of course, like any project, there were a couple of hiccups but Seatown handled all issues very well and even accommodated our difficult requests with a great deal of professionalism. Matthew who finished the installation and his manager Ryan were both amazing! We really enjoyed working with Seatown. They are by far one of the best companies we have had to work with. We highly recommend them!

Seatown installed a new air conditioner in our house. They were professional, fast, and went beyond the narrow scope of their work, fixing air-conditioner-related problems they found along the way. We were impressed enough to sign up for a recurring electric & heating systems maintenance plan.
Work was great. People were nice. Charged me $100 for one wall outlet that they needed to replace though. The hardware store has a ten pack of those for $20. Labour charge was separate.
While I don't disagree with the fact that unit was near the end of it's life, the guy who came out to look at my furnace on the evening of the snow storm was in disbelief that you guys charged me for a tune-up 2 weeks earlier. He cleaned a bunch of gunk out of it and the furnace started right back up after failing earlier that evening. We went ahead and contracted him to do an install the following week as a preventative measure since the unit was at 14 years old anyway but he said it would've lasted awhile longer after he cleaned it. It lasted through the whole Snowmageddon weekend and ran great and quietly. At the end of the day your tech's came out and did a shoddy tune-up job (if they did one at all) and gave me a grossly over-inflated estimate for a new one $7,000+ vs. $2,800 for a comparable unit including install? Buyer beware. I would like a refund for the tune-up is what I would like.

Recently we purchased a new home and the inspector found a few small electrical problems. SeaTown Electric was recommended to us via our realtor. So we decided to call them and set up an appointment to get the items taken care of, and we are glad we did.
Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He walked me through all the processes and procedures that would be needed to take care of our list. I normally don't enjoy this kind of thing, but I actually did this time. Matt came across very honest, trustworthy, and patient with my list of questions. It was a great experience!
I highly recommend SeaTown Electric.
We had Seatown out to our house to cap off our gas line going to our back yard pool heater because we are demolishing our swimming pool. Dillon came out within a couple of days. We got a text message and email on the prior day confirming our appointment. When we made the appointment, we were told the tech would give us an estimate and do the work on the spot. Our first thought was that we were going to get gouged with a high estimate because the tech would already be here and many people would likely go ahead and pay the high amount for convenience reasons. To our surprise, Dillon capped the line and did not even charge us. He also advised us to cap the gas line in the back yard rather than where the line branches off at the meter, and then gave us all kinds of ideas on other things we could use that line for in the future. We will be calling Seatown back when we decide what we are going to use that line for. Thank you Seatown.

SeaTown Electric is an example of excellent cratsmanship and have earned my endorsement. We asked them for an estimate to upgrade the aluminum wiring in our 1970's home and Brandon gave the most inclusive evaluation and fair price. He is very professional and the electrical upgrades he recommended to meet the current electrical codes were exactly right.
Their electricians installed a new and much imroved breaker panel with arc fault breakers and grounding wire, and upgraded the aluminum wiring with AlumiConn connectors to prevent wiring failure at outlets and switches. Each of the electricians was polite, professional and hard working. Our home's electrical system is now protected in several ways and giving us a much safer living environment.
These folks are awesome!!! We found out a bad garage electrical circuit that had prevented our tankless water heater from working, the front office scrambled around, coordinated with dispatch and had an electrician on site in about 2 hours. Many thanks to Penny, Sara, Lisa, and Faith! They dispatched electrician Thomas Fuller to our residence to work his miracles. He diagnosed the initial problem within 2 minutes, fixed it, then proceeded to fix various other small electrical glitches in our house. He is courteous, exceptionally knowledgeable, very professional, and very easy to work with. He strictly observed all COVID-19 safety protocols and patiently answered all my silly electrical questions. I have specifically requested him to perform our next routine service. Probably the best technical service call I've had in 40 years. Schedule your next electrical service with SeaTown--they are superstars!
Found these guys on Thumbtack and am pleasantly surprised. Had them do additional lighting. Very happy with their work. Highly recommended.
Our furnace was acting up the night before. It would work fine for a couple minutes and then suddenly it would stop heating. We called around to see if anyone could come the same day to help us out. Seatown was the company that could fit us in and we are certainly glad they did. Tyler came by to help us out. He immediately thought the filter could be clogging things up so that's the first thing we looked at. After 30 mintues of running, it looked like he found the problem. So we started doing the paperwork, etc when the furnace died once again. So he took it apart piece by piece, cleaned out the fan, redid some of the wiring. He also took pictures and walked me through potential future issues (our furnace is pushing 20+ years). So after putting everything back together he waited another 30 minutes to make sure everything worked. I can't really explain how it all works, but so far so good. Seatown and Tyler did a great job for us. Very professional and friendly. Walked me through every step they took along the process.
I hired Seatown to install an additional unit to our existing HVAC system. They were very professional from beginning to end. There was a snafu in the process where there was some damage that was done to an adjacent room (because of some bad info on my part about the layout of the house), but they were prompt in taking care of all issues free of charge and did not increase the original quote since the job became a little more complicated than first thought. Would hire them again in the future!
Blake, the lead electrician, and his assistant deserve 5 stars and more for their excellent electrical work on our home. I had a very significant full-home rewire project that I received bids for from 3 extremely well-rated electrical companies. I ultimately selected SeaTown Electric due to their scheduling availability (they were extremely easy to book quickly), their competitive price (all of the bids came in very narrowly the same, with SeaTown slightly edging out the others), and professionalism during the consult. The home rewire project was not easy as the home was built in 1920 and contained 90% knob and tube wiring. Blake and his assistant worked incredibly hard and upheld very high-levels of professionalism throughout the week-long project. What I really appreciated was how communicative and accommodating Blake was--he routinely checked in with me on decision points and worked hard to accommodate our future home reno plans that would impact future electrical needs/work. The inspector was especially impressed with the quality of work performed. Most importantly, Blake and his assistant were simply very kind and courteous people that made it a pleasure to work with them--would 100% recommend these 2 again for any work you may have done by SeaTown!

Seatown did a great job updating several outdated aspects of my home built in 1987. The technician was knowledgeable and things went smoothly, and he was good about working with my schedule as we were moving and having floors redone all during the same tight period of time. He replaced several breakers, several outlets, moved two outlets and added an outdoor outlet. I did feel like it was a bit expensive, but I would use Seatown again.

We decided to do a kitchen remodel. For my electrical needs I found Seatown electric. Matt came out and walked our property and helped implement a plan that would benefit our current and future needs. He gave us 3 different options with pricing. Since our home was built in 1979 our panel that was aluminum, and was showing signs wear. We decided to upgrade the panel to provide enough room for the required dedicated circuits necessary for our upgraded appliances and lighting needs. I was notified via text message the day before service and updated with arrival notifications from scheduling. Malik, Steve and Kyle showed up regularly and on time and worked long days. They left the site clean at end of each day. With every remodel there are surprises and Malik and his team did a great job. We are happy with the way it turned out as well as our experience with Seatown. I will call Seatown and request Malik and his team for my future electric needs.
Excellent communication and excellent service by our technician, Colby. We had a light switch sparking and heating up. Scheduling does not give you an estimated time ahead of time, but morning of they were able to narrow it down a little. The diagnostic fee was more than other places, but no one else had available appointments. However, it was all worth it. Colby did an amazing job analyzing the problem and being thorough with what was causing the issue and what the fix was. He spent extra time helping make sure the rest of the house was safe and gave suggestions for different light bulbs to try. He gave us an estimate for the switch fix and was very upfront about pricing throughout. I had a great experience with his service and would ask for him again.
Seatown Electric was the most responsive of all of the companies we reached out to when we recently ran into an electrical problem. Scheduling was professional and easy, and Brandon showed up exactly when he said he would (I have almost never experienced this before)! Couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism, competence, and courtesy. Highly recommend.

Had some issues at my rental house, the landlord called Seatown Electric. They arrived promptly on a Monday and did a quick safety check and explained fully what work needed to be done along with estimates. They were very booked for the next few weeks, but still took the time to help as much as they could. Brandon and Mitchell were very polite, kind and understanding.
Also, just wanted to note, to the person who had this company install their theater system, these are electricians, NOT an Audio or Visual specialist. If you want someone to setup your home theater system you hire a home theater expert, NOT an electrician.

I am not one to hold a business accountable for understandable mistakes or communications. But I do hold them accountable for high-handed, atrocious business practices. Hence this note. I hired this company in May 2020. The diagnostic fee of $289 was waived. I spent over $5000 for two separate projects: (1) replacement of the electrical panel and (2) finding and fixing a problem that, it turns out, had been created by a previous contractor. On this last problem, Steve (who bid my job) was particularly helpful. However, in the last few weeks we have noticed an electrical burn smell in the kitchen, the area involving project (2), where this company ran a new circuit under the kitchen. I called the company to ask for advice and a look-see. I have been told that in order for a technician to take a look, I will be charged the $289 diagnostic fee, which will be waived only if the electrical burning problem is connected to their work in May. I explained that there are three reasons to waive the fee. first, because it was previously waived; second, because the current problem may (or may not) be connected with the company's previous work; and third, most importantly, I have already spent over $5000 with this company in the past three months. However, the company says it will not waive the fee unless the problem stems from their work. They can now take me off of their customer list, for failure to take care of a good paying customer and take responsibility for what could be their problem. Their attitude stinks and I will no longer do business with this company and would suggest you do the same. They don't have a clue about good will nor about taking responsibility to follow-up on previous work.

Seatown Electric were very professional and responsive. I had an knob and tube rewire, along with new electrical panel installed, completed in a week. The electricians were helpful, explaining the work well, and were able to fix odd electrical house problems seemingly easily.
This has been the best experience with an electrical company that we've ever had. From the first call to the office, to the bid and to the finish everything went smoothly and as planned. Matt came out and gave us the bid, there was no high pressure sales and he gave us options. He said, we want to be your electricians for life. Not just come out and take your money and never be seen again. The bid came in right around what we expected it to. We planned the work a few weeks out and Blake and Steve did an awesome job on the work! All the areas they worked in were cleaned up and everything went as planned. I can't say how happy we are with the entire experience and the work. SeaTown will definitely be our electricians from now on. Thanks!

Our Seatown team, David and Tyler, were professional, courteous and extremely efficient in installing a chandelier which required finesse due to its location. They had a small work space and managed beautifully. We really appreciated their efforts and it looks great!
Quick estimate they stood behind, prompt, quick, clean, efficient, personable service. Thanks much!
From my first phone call to Seatown Electric to the service I received this company is fantastic. Amanda scheduled my work and gave very clear information to the technicians so they came prepared for an unusual job. Shaun and Tyler arrived on time, were extremely professional and took care of the service of a ceiling exhaust fan in a 22' high ceiling. They cleaned up when finished and even vacuumed the work area. I will definitely hire them again and refer my friends to Seatown Electric.

Thank you Seatown Electic! Ivan was the electrician assigned to replace the fixtures in our home, he is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. He was able to complete the installation within an hour too which was fantastic. He also pointed out a few areas in our 1938 home where in the future my husband and I might want to complete upgrades in the near future and discussed all the pros and cons. This is the second time we have used Seatown electric and are very happy with their service.

SeaTown did a phenomenal job for my clients in a timely manner. We were in a tight bind due to a permit topic that came up before closing, but SeaTown went out of their way to assess the issue and make sure the work was done in a professional and timely manner. I would highly recommend them to any future client(s). Kudos to Brent, Steven and David for doing A+ work. I want to personally thank Brent for his timely and helpful communication efforts, and going above/beyond to make sure the work was complete. Thanks SeaTown for exceeding our expectations!
Matt was very prompt and efficient. He was very considerate and provided a workable package with the least disruption to my condo unit.

Thomas was there from beginning to end of job, from bid to the work. Clean, clean, clean. Quick, on time, worked great. Earned my business. Will use again.
I have hired Sea Town a few times. I like the best about them that they are very skillful and always try their best to resolve if there is any issue. They are nice friendly people to work with. I had Tyler ( TR) and Thomas do our projects, they were very nice and try to work what best for you instead of just for money like many other companies. They both were very efficient and helpful and knowledge, skillful. I am very pleased!
Just received a bid from these guys. Had a great experience and am going to be booking them as soon as we can make it work. Super professional and not overselling anything.
What an awesome company! Ivan worked long and hard on a challenging issue with my radiant heat floor controls- he tried a few things and when it looked like I would have to order another controller he refused to give up and happy to say my basement is warm and toasty and so are my feet! Shout out to Ivan for making it happen!
Great service as usual. Showed up right at 8am for an appointment that had an 8am - 10am window. Setup a generator that I purchased from them that included a tutorial on hooking it up to transfer switch that they had installed a month ago.

We just had a panel put in by Matt today from seatown electric and we are very happy with his work he came when he said he was going to come he did a very good job he was polite and courteous and we enjoyed the whole experience and will use them again and I also recommend them to any friends that need work done. Thanks!
Aaron from Seatown Electric came out today to give us a bid on electrical work to upgrade our home. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things electric and gave us good ideas for our planned upgrades. He was extremely professional and polite. He entered all info into his iPad and emailed us a list of our requested work with pricing right on the spot. The pricing was higher than we were planning, however it was our first electric bid for our project so we can't comment as to how it compares to others. We will be getting 2 additional bids but hope that SeaTown pricing is competitive as we would love to use them. Overall, we are very impressed with this company.

I had Sea Town do some wiring for outdoor lighting project a couple years ago. They did a good job so I called them this year to have 17 recessed lights installed when I had my popcorn ceiling removed. It was not easy as there was no attic and they had to cut a lot of holes to fish the wires. I had a couple of concerns with the finished look as we were also working with a drywall company. Matt came out and personally made sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. I will recommend this company based on their work and their quick response when I had concerns.
While their web site offers a free electrical panel inspection, when I called to schedule an appointment I discovered they charge to write the estimate. This should be disclosed on their web site...

David H. and his apprentice arrived on time, both were very friendly, and were ready with booties to cover their shoes. I showed them the problem, and they had it diagnosed and fixed in no time. I had also just had a light fixture delivered, and they gave me a quote to install, as well as replace an outlet. Would highly recommend!
SeaTown just completed a big job on my house, completely replacing my heating system and installing AC. I could not be happier with the work and the entire staff. Cody is an expert and patiently listened to our needs and advised us on what would be best for our vintage Seattle house. The technicians were on time each day, worked very fast and kept the mess to a minimum. They easily dealt with the problems that come up when working on an older house. Brian and Ryan came back and spent another couple of house changing a few things even though the bill had long been paid. Cannot recommend this company highly enough, at least for HVAC work.

I called Seatown after finding out the breaker that controls our furnace needed to be replaced. After explaining that we were without heat, the woman I spoke with offered to call a technician to see if we could be seen sooner. She called me back within minutes and a few hours later Matt was at our door. I was so impressed with his willingness to come and help us after hours, when he should have been home with his own family. Thank you!
I wish I could give ten stars because it is deserved. SeaTown has some of the finest customer service I have ever experienced. They were able to fit us in their schedule quickly, followed up with reminder emails, called to say they were on their way, and arrived on time. Ryan completed a furnace servicing and Cody came to our new house to give us a bid for a furnace and air conditioner. Cody was very generous with his time and discussed our options in detail, definitely caring about what would work best for us. He also did an additional task for us though his work day was done. The price was excellent. There is no doubt that we will call SeaTown for all our future need, and will recommend them to friends.
Early to their appointment, very knowledgeable and polite. Answered all my questions, would contact again for future projects.

Excellent communication and speedy service! I loved that they had a simple price structure sheet ready to go that wasn't complicated. Aaron was fantastic and was very clear what our options were and answered all my questions. Highly recommended!

We read reviews on Angie's list. We have been in need of two additional outlets. Brandon and Thomas from Seatown electric came on a Sunday, because of their busy schedule. They called because they were running a little late. We really appreciated the courtesy of removing shoes before entering the house. After reviewing the projects they went right to work, professional, officiant and nice clean up job. Seatown will be on my list for future projects and referrals.
I cannot speak to the quality of their work as I was rudely left in the dust by their office. After emailing their office photos of my project by request, I was given a ridiculously over priced bid for something I have plenty of experience with. Next I politely explained I would be happy to hire them on a time and materials basis so I would not be taken and they could still profit. (Their bid was over DOUBLE the going rate for this task in Seattle) They immediately lowered their bid by 1/3 (which was admission of overbid) and told me my very time sensitive spot they had given me in their schedule was given away now and they could not do the work for several weeks at this point, so it would not get done before my house was put on the market after all (worthless). It was a only a one or even partial day electrical job and all this email/phone communication was timely, taking only a day to complete between us. So if you wanna get ripped off or put off then sign up with them!
Sorry Brandon- you have been misinformed about several
key facts in our recent interaction unfortunately. First of all your office worker (L) suggested I send you guys a photo of a single piece of the electrical work needing to be done over here for an estimate on it. She suggested it so we could get the ball rolling and your electrician would potentially complete that task with the idea of looking at other work to be done while here on site for a second estimate. I NEVER insisted on sending you guys a picture as I'm available all day onsite for estimate walk throughs and actually prefer it done that way. Also I never got upset when given your initial bid as it's just business and I have been doing this kind of thing for many years. Emotion has no place here and it's petty that someone told you I was emotional about it actually. I politely suggested we just CONSIDER (T & M pricing) to be sure you still profit without looting me. I certainly do not prefer T&M pricing in general. Your defending the original overbid price is funny.
All the work has been completed by a licensed electrical contractor as of yesterday, the quality is top notch, and my cost for the entire project was 1/3 lower than the $900 bid you first gave me for just a fraction of the work to be completed here. And guess what? - the electrician that just finished my work was the owner of the company, I found him here on Yelp, and he suggested completing the job with T&M pricing which then happened. You guys just lost a dollar chasing three dollars and earned the review I originally placed based on FACTS- not an office worker trying to manipulate the facts of our communications to satisfy their boss doing damage control on a poor review that was posted in complete accuracy.

We are very happy with the service from SeaTown Electric. They did a great job and even though there was some confusion with exactly what we wanted, they made it right. Everyone involved was professional and we would recommend them to anyone. David and Tyler R. did a great job.
Highly Recommend this team of professionals! First class service from a competent and reliable company! We recently moved into a home that was built in 1957 and remodeled in 2018. We wanted to ensure our furnace was ready for the winter weather. I shopped around and I went with Seatown due to the 5 star ratings. We had Brian come out to tune up the furnace. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He walked me through all the parts and showed me what needed to be replaced. He connected me with a comfort advisor to discuss upgrade options since the furnace is 17 years old. That is where Davis came in to help. He evaluated the entire home to make sure the heating and cooling would be effective for the home size. He was professional and recommended that we keep our current furnace until there is a problem. He also recommended a separate unit for out master bedroom. When I signed up for the partner plan we got a free home electrical inspection. Taylor came in and did a thorough electrical inspection. He had a fix for all the issues I asked him to look at. This team of professionals were great and gave us peace of mind about our home. Will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. On a separate note the branding and logo of this company is really cool too!

Great friendly service. Fit me in earlier than expected, good communication, arrived on time and followed up after appointment. Take away one star for having spendy diagnostic fee. Otherwise highly recommended.
I liked Matt and I was probably going to go ahead with the panel replacement and Tesla charger install for 6800. Until someone from the main office called me up with a bad attitude demanding I settle the balance on my account. I had already paid for the visit fee but they made a mistake and didn't charge tax. I hope calling me up to scold me for the company's mistake was worth losing a 6800 job! Try apologizing for not charging me 4 dollars in tax instead acting like I stole from your company. I bet other oops charges would show up after the job was done...
Thomas and Mitch did a awesome job. After eight years my fan/light stopped working in the bathroom, my bedroom light stopped working and my bedroom light switch turned on the fan light in the bathroom....What a puzzle! Well Thomas figured it out! Yeah! Things had jiggled loose and were originally set up incorrectly. He also figure out/fixed some of are other electrical issues. They were very professional, let me know what the problem was and cleaned up. Thank you! It was also surprisingly very reasonable. Will use them again!
From start to finish our project took 3 months total. I had two days booked in December but they had an opening in November so they came out to do the outside outlet for Xmas lights which was great...but that outlet didn't work properly so they needed to come out and fix it. Come to find out the office cancelled my other day I had scheduled in December so I had to wait a little longer than expected for the next appointment. They came out for the next appointment and decided to put light switches on a picture wall which looked totally weird (they never even asked where we wanted it even though I told them to please call me with any questions). I had to schedule another appointment for them to finish since they never did my shed, which was on the bid but some how communication between Aaron and Jeff was lagging so Jeff didn't know what was going on and claimed he didn't see the original bid. The apprentice couldn't figure out where the studs was on the wall so now I have extra holes I need to fix because he ended up drilling in 2×4's...this coulda been easily prevented had he used a stud finder. On top of that they left some trash in our yard. They came out another time to finish the shed. Only for us to find out they didn't complete the job. How could you expect a customer to pay in full when the job isn't even completed? What was supposed to be a 2 day job per the bid ended up being like 4 or 5 days because of miscommunication and them not finishing what was supposed to be done. Also be aware that some five star reviews on Google are from their own employees. Wish I did more research.
