I never met Rich, but he was gracious enough to solve my electrical issue over the phone without coming out for a house call. He requested photos of the problem area and a description of the symptoms which I provided. He gave me a solution which to my limited skillset I was able to complete and the problem was solved.
Rich was the very first of the many electricians to contact me in a timely fashion. I greatly appreciated that as I know many of these electricians are swamped with appointments and couldn't fit me in for weeks.
I know that Rich will be the first guy I call the next time I have a problem I can't overcome.

I was very impressed by Dale and his team! They came out to my home and tackled all of my projects in one afternoon! They were trustworthy, respectful of my home, knowledgeable, and thorough. I will use them again and will recommend others to them without hesitation!

We needed a plug installed for a new dishwasher and another changed to GFI in the bathroom.  This was done quickly and at a good price.  The technician promised to come back if we had a problem.  We didn't.

Had our service upgraded from 100A to 200A.

Rich arrived for the estimate, on time and masked. Very personable and answered my copious questions (as a retired engineer I had lots). Very detailed answers and willing to address any concern I had. At the end of the estimate I felt like I had a good grasp of the work involved.

Went with his company and at the scheduled time Travis and Igor showed up to do the work. Again, arrived masked. And, again, were very informative about what the day process would be like and willingly answered any questions I had.

They worked as an efficient team. Rich checked in part way through the day and the process went smoothly. A long bundled up day (mid Dec), but when they left we had power back and everything working fine. They came next day to do some cosmetics button-ups and inspection prep.

While the inspection raised a couple issues, Rich, Travis & Igor worked out solutions to get the corrections done quickly w/ minimal interruption and it readily passed the next one.

All three gents were easy to work with, never (as far as I could tell) tired of my how-things-work questions (enquiring minds, etc) and were very efficient in their work processes. Next time I have need of that level of expertise, they are my first call.

Great service when I put myself in a time crunch needed to de-commission knob and tube for an insulation job. We have plans for them to come back and help with some other items noted and not oversold when they were here. Staff was on point, clean in their work and courteous.

Shawn, Todd and Skyler were all amazing. Shawn was quick to respond to all texts and calls and was able to fit me into their busy schedule the next day which I so appreciate as I have a hectic weekend schedule being a nurse and with a toddler!
I had a terrible experience with an installation company in which it ended up with a dishwasher not working along with my garbage disposal.
Todd and Skyler came in the early AM and able to resolve all the issues the previous company messed up. I'm glad I called these guys, I felt much more confident in their work and ability to handle/fix everything. Also appreciate Todd explaining everything to me and giving updated time/cost estimates as the job went on.

We have a outlet that is in connection to a switch and we want to make it always hot. I was told by Shawn that this job will most likely take less than one hour and 2 hours at the worst case and they charge 300$ per hour, but we ended up with a 3 hour work and 1000$+ bill.  The technicians are very professional and did a good job but I wish they could have let us know the price estimate once they figured out the solution. I feel deceived by Shawn's estimate and regret not having different companies for bidding.

I reached out to Electrical Systems Solutions to get a quote for some outdoor lighting work.  Rich responded promptly, and was able to find time to check out the project quickly.  He was extremely forthright & honest about what was and was not doable, as well as both the quality of the existing work and my options.  Although he was ultimately unable to help me with my project, he provided significant expertise and a referral.  I'll definitely be following up with him for future projects.

Great company to work with.  I sent a very detailed request as to my need, I was called almost immediately.  I was told I'd be charged by the hour and the technicians would be at my house at 7:00 A.M.  They showed up on time, with mask, very knowledgeable ...and didn't get on their phones once.  

Job was finished a lot sooner than I had anticipated, and I was an electrician many years ago.

Great service and work. ESS helped install recessed lighting in our home. Shawn was very helpful when he provided the estimation and was quick to respond when I had questions. He offered fair pricing on the install and helped us save some money by advising us to purchase  our own lighting. The installers wore masks during the installation, were very communicative during the process, and they cleaned up after the job was done. One of the outlets was accused turned off after the install but they immediately sent someone over to fix it. Highly recommended!

I was in the process of getting multiple quotes from contractors about switching out a 40 amp breaker with a 30 amp. This was recommended by the company that installed my new combo wall oven/microwave as its specs say it's rated 30 amp. Rich was the only one who told me that I didn't need to get this done as the oven circuitry and the whole house surge suppression system that I have installed will protect me and I have a very small chance of anything going wrong. I appreciate his honesty and he saved me a few hundred $.

Very professional, wore their masks, were on time and did great work quicker than estimated so the final cost was less than the initial bid (which is always a bonus :)

I'd met with 2 electrical companies before someone recommended  Electrical Systems Solutions, and I am glad they did. I got my circuits re wired and now thanks to ESS we no longer keep blowing fuses.

Very happy with ESS in terms of their responsiveness, timeliness and service. The proprietor, Rich, took the time on the phone to review the problem I was having prior to scheduling service, which I really appreciate. And when I couldn't fix the problem myself, two of his people were able to work through some wonky wiring in our home and make it work, and work safely. Very happy with the service I received, but also with the professionalism of the two electricians that provided the service. I'm happy to recommend ESS to others with similar problems or needs.

Reached out and coordinated with Shawn for a power outlet installation for my laundry closet (had only one outlet but needed two for a stackable washer/dryer).  I shared some pictures via text and Shawn talked through the work that might be needed with me.  Communication was easy and clear.  

Dave and Travis showed up as scheduled and performed the installation promptly.  Though needed just one outlet, the installation was a bit more complicated.  It required them to move the washer/dryer out of the closet, removed the bathroom mirror and medicine cabinet, cut holes into the drywall.  They also had to run the wire from the electric panel within the walls from the kitchen, bathroom, and ultimately to the laundry closet.  They were helpful, polite, and efficient.  They also vacuumed the areas after the work and kept the place clean.

Shawn contacted me to quote my job.  When I told him I already had someone coming and if I accepted the quote, they could do the job right then.  Shawn was not at all pushy.  Just said call me if you need to.  I called him as soon as the other guy left.  Dale and Skylar showed up to my home the next morning, right on time and fully masked.  The quote was good, the work done efficiently, and they even had time to do another small job I had!  i would high recommend them to friends and family.

We hired Electrical Systems Solutions to fix the work of As You Wish Electric.  Shawn's team (lead by Travis) was efficient and punctual and solved the problem that As You Wish caused (and refused to solve for another 3 weeks).  They were there to help within 24 hours of the initial call and had the problem solved in under 2 hours.   I would highly recommend Electrical Systems Solutions.

ESS Updated my electric panel, moved the mast and meter in 2019. They were fast and efficient. I called again this year for a minor job, and they also responded promptly. Straightforward bid, arrived on time, cleaned after finishing the work. Will call again for a job big or small.

Shawn gave an honest quote up front based on what I shared.  The team was on time, professional and did a great job communicating the diagnostics and solutions.  The price was exactly what I expected.  If you're looking for an honest company to do great work, give them a shot!

I was cold-called by Shawn Odom this morning and when I said that this moment wasn't a good time he told me he paid $139 for your phone number and then hung up. I actually couldn't believe how rude he was,  so I called back to clarify cause I thought he said something about charging me that money. After that, I gave him the satisfaction of feeling like his money was worth it...too bad he continued to be rude. He gave me a quote that based on my understanding of the work that needed to be done was far above the required work we would need. I actually pretended not to know what I was talking about because I thought it would be interesting to see how much he'd try to upsell me.
If you want an electrician, don't put your information into Angies List or Home Advisor or Houzz unless you want to be called by folks who try to guilt you into business... that was my mistake. It's not my job to make you feel better about being a bad salesperson.
Oh, and he asked me to review the call, so here it is bud. Don't call me again.

I met Rich a year ago, and boy am I glad I did! I have had him install and fix many light fixtures, outlets, etc. over the last year - both residential and commercial. His family business consists of a small team, but they are professional, courteous and get the job done quickly for a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone and am glad to finally have an electrician I can count on when the need arises.
