Contacted Anchor for a simple quote for a standard hydrostatic test. Person answering the phone said that only a technician could give pricing and that was only by meeting them at the house. Have gotten other quotes over the phone and online without a problem from competitors, I will not be using Anchor. Why would I spend my time to go out and meet their technician for a job that is easy to give a quote on and potentially waste my time if I don't agree to/like their price?

Update: After seeing my initial 2 star review, received a call from the technician who was able to give me a quote. Updating my review to 4 stars since they took the time to call me back.

SAME DAY SERVICE! One of the owners, Joaquin, came out and installed my dishwasher. Not only was he fast, he was so nice, courteous, loves animals and kids and enjoys nice conversation. (his sweet mama recommended him to me!) Great job and great recommendations for other plumbing issues I wanted to know about.

They came and installed a water softener and an RO system, and did a good job. They did asked for payment before the project was complete, but were understanding of why that wasn't a good alternative for us. They also claimed to have a warranty on plumbing related to the project, but now, several months later we've developed a leak from the RO faucet coming from our counter and they are refusing to even look at it claiming it's a faulty RO system sight unseen. I don't plan on hiring them again as I'm sure there are plenty of alternatives that won't miss these finer points.

I am so happy to have a new plumber. Brad came through right on time and walked through every in house plumbing question I had. He addressed each concern with honesty and a professional disposition. His work was very well done and his rate is fair, he charges by the hour, not by the job, and he doesn't waste time. I hope to never have to need a plumber again, but if I do, I'm glad to know that Brad services south Austin!

We noticed a water leak from our water heater and called BG Plumbing.  Tsanko came out that day to give an assessment and estimate.  Because we had a series of past positive experiences with him on prior, smaller jobs, we went with him.  By the middle of the next day, he had ripped out the old water heater and installed a new one without issue.  The process could not have been easier.  Very knowledgable and high integrity.  Always good to have a plumber like this in your network...

Great service, very professional and the quotes were very reasonable. I have them a 4 star just for the fact that I wouldn't have wanted the installation immediately but no biggie. They did come a day earlier than scheduled though.

Had a fast and good experience with A& A plumbing. Had a water leak in my yard of a main water line. Quick response and service. A bit expensive ($475) but good job done. Job was completed quickly and on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Wore a mask. Cleaned up area.

Jaime Santana did an excellent job with broken water pipes repair at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Manor, where I am the pastor. After the winter storm of February 2021, the water pipes of all of our buildings were damaged. Mr. Santana assessed the situation, explained what was required, and finished the repairs in a timely manner. I give kudos to Emilio in particular, who walked me through a completely ridiculous problem of my own doing tonight. I assumed it was their work, but in fact it was my miraculous cleaning skills that clogged my drain. Emilio took it in great stride and helped me diagnose my issue (on a Sunday night no less) which saved both of us time and money.

I will never use another plumber for any work in Austin!  After experiencing a smell that can only be called funky for a few months and having several other plumbers come check it out, Gilbert was the only one to correctly identify and correct the issue.  The other guys did smoke tests incorrectly, explained that the rework the previous owners had done must be causing the problem and generally told us it would cost thousands of dollars to just identify the problem.  Turns out the issue was a drain pipe that had backed up into the shower pan and simply needed to be cleaned really well. Problem gone. What impressed me most is that Gilbert could have made much more money from my ignorance, but he is as honest of a man as I have ever met.  I will recommend him to everyone I know.

Texas All Cash Home Buyers have used Josh and his team at Mr. Rooter for over hundred service calls and renovation projects.  There friendly, scheduling when needed and very fair pricing.  They have become our preferred plumber of choice and would recommend them to anyone.

We had a non-emergency issue in the kitchen we're remodeling, and Guarantee Plumbing responded within ten minutes of my inquiry. The message was clear on how to reach someone for scheduling even though it was after 8:30PM. The dispatcher was friendly, clear on the fact that there is a visit fee that gets waived if we use them for the task.

Our plumber called ahead to make sure we were ready for him, asked for permission to cut further into drywall. He was friendly, laid back, and quick with the repair. He even gave me information to pass along to my drywall guy on what was done.

I did find it a rather high price for what I considered a low difficulty, non-urgent request, and the invoice didn't have a breakdown to show that the fee had indeed been waived, which is why they're only at four stars. At least they take checks!

I'll be keeping these guys in mind for the next repair!

I have used AAA Auger for almost 25 years and will continue to do so. I called for an appointment and they said, Would now be okay?  I was thrilled.  Rudy came to my house today and installed my new faucets. There was a problem with turning off the water under the sinks. The knobs were stuck. Even I tried. He was very informative and kept me aware of everything he was doing.  He got everything fixed beautifully. He was professional and very polite.  He even gave me a discount. AAA Auger always sends me coupons for discounts.

This plumbing company is absolutely wonderful. At first I thought price was a little steep for a quote but they replaced a part and came back when I still had an issue with the same faucet for free! Previously used Jon Wayne in the past. Had a appointment scheduled between  8-12. No one showed up and was never contacted. Called to get an update, they had cancelled the appointment without ever contacting me. Then wanted to schedule an appointment days out. Poor customer service.

I called roto rooter this afternoon for a clean out and I was told someone will contact me between 16:00-20:00 to confirm. I missed a call at 15:30 while I was on my way home. I called back as soon as I arrived at home like 15:50. They told me a dispatcher would call me back.  No one ever called me.  I called back at 1800 to see if someone is still making my service call. I was on hold for a long time again for a dispatcher to talk to me only to get the service rep come back saying they made several attempts to contact me and there was no answer.  I've been home since 15:50! I just canceled and went with someone else.  Don't waste your time with roto rooter! They keep you on hold and they don't adhere to schedule time of appointment and they lie cus no one there really wants to work!
