George and his team are fabulous! They come out quickly and are very reasonable on their pricing. I didn't know how my system worked, it has a rain sensor that stops the sprinklers from running and I thought it was broken and they showed me and didn't charge me for not knowing and they very well could of. I've had them out twice now. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

H&S Backflow is incredibly responsive and efficient. Mike came out diagnosed the problem and was able to repair my pool backflow issue the very next day. Will definitely be using them again for any of my future needs!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND:

Had a kitchen faucet replaced (I suppled the faucet- he was cool with that). Plumber also replaced two cutoff valves-one that needed to be replaced right now and one the plumber recommended since it was old. ( He gave me a choice about whether to do second valve ) . Price was fair, comparable to other quotes. Gave me a discount on installing the new valves since it was an add-on.

Very fast next day morning service, prompt arrival at appt. time. Worked neatly (minimal spillage ) and cleaned and dried under the sink thoroughly after the job was finished.

I can't say enough good things about this company. We got a toilet install via Lowe's, and they were the contractors that came to do the job. They said our old toilet was installed incorrectly and that some minor work was needed before they could install it (that was outside the standard toilet install). They were so nice and told us exactly what to do and what type of cement to buy to fix it. Their company came back within a day after we fixed the minor repair. With a lot of contractors, they never answer the phone, and appointments take forever. They were right away with answering and scheduling. They were professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

Jose was able to come by the next day to look at our leak. He took the time to explain and answer our questions. After quoting other companies we went with his professionalism and reliability. He didn't pressure us into a decision but offered time and suggested we called around. We will definitely use him again in the future if needed.

I had a pool of water in my yard near my sprinkler backflow preventer valve.  My sprinkler was put in years ago and I also wanted a master valve cutoff installed to prevent water possibly leaking from any of my 9 zoned substations.  I called Austex Sprinklers to come have a look.  Alex came out and found a small leak in my sprinkler system. He also noticed a small leak in my home's main water line that was leaking directly under my leaking sprinkler pipe.  I called a plumber to repair the main line.  While we waited Alex and his partner dug out and exposed the leak in the main line.  The plumber repaired the leak and we left the pipes exposed.  It's a good thing the lines weren't covered up.  The next day I noticed that the yard line that the plumber had repaired was still leaking.  The plumber's company sent out another repair person who fixed the leak.  I waited a few days and after I saw that both leaks were stopped I bedded the pipes in sand and leveled the soil.  That was about a month ago.  I noticed that my sprinkler zone 9 wasn't working and called Austex Sprinkler.  They sent Alex out in a couple of days and he laid hands on the system and got it working properly.  I still don't know what was wrong with zone 9 but after he left it was working.

I won't mention the name of the plumbing company because I was very disappointed in them.  They sent out a plumber with a broken thumb.  It was a couple of days later that he repaired our home's line.  It was cold and he sat in his truck for a couple hours waiting for the pipe glue to cure.  He didn't ask if there were any other things he could do plumbing wise at our home.  And, after all the waiting, the pipe still leaked the next day and had to be repaired by another plumber from that company.

I am very impressed with Austex as they performed almost all of the digging for the plumber.  They also sent Alex out to fix my zone 9 in a timely manner.  They have done such a great job and had such excellent follow up that I am calling them tomorrow to repair another sprinkler system that I own on the East side of Austin.

Very honest, respectful, diligent and kept us in the loop of status on where they were to reaching my parents house. Despite the weather ordeal and weather they made it out in a timely fashion and fixed it on the spot!!!

Atlas Plumbing replaced a water heater within 5 days of their diagnosis. They were timely, courteous, and made sure the job was properly done and up to code. A couple days after the water heater was installed, one of the toilets coincidentally clogged. We called another plumber who couldn't unclog it and told us that it would require taking the entire toilet out at a charge of $400. We called Atlas right after that plumber came out, and they were kind enough to squeeze in a last minute look. They easily spotted the problem, got it unclogged within 5 minutes, and the most impressive thing of all was that they didn't charge a dime for the trip out nor the unclogging!! Louis said he just wanted to do the right thing, instead of trying to squeeze more money out of me. That alone just speaks volumes to their character. We definitely recommend their crew!

We were affected by the 2021 winter storm and had a burst water pipe in two locations. We called and were advised we would be added to a list and we were given an approx. time to expect a call.  They called a little sooner then expected. The service team was professional, efficient and solved our issue.  The pricing is set by the problem and not at an hourly rate. Will use for future plumbing needs. Thank you Mr Plumber

The toilet in our apartment wasn't working right. The complex wouldn't fix it so we had Franco's plumbing come in and do it. He figured out right away what was wrong and fixed it. He was very professional, came on time and did it all for a good price. It's a family owned company and you can tell he knows what he's doing. I would recommend them!

We were connected to Champion Plumbing through our home warranty company. They set up two appointments with us and no showed both of them, even after we called and confirmed that they were coming. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. We asked to be switched to another provider as we had to miss work and leave work early to be at our home for the two appointments and they never showed up or called to reschedule.

Edit: 9/27/16 at 9:17pm Just received a call from a technician that they are coming out now.

This guy had his assistant work a total of 1 hour 10 minutes and charged me for 2.5 hours at $87.50 per hour ONLY for the labor.  When I asked about the charges he said that he is master plumber not a handyman that is why he charged that much. He said that even though they didn't work the full 2.5 hours he was charging for driving from his office which is 10 minutes from my house.  So according to him it took them 2.5 hours just to change the washers and seats from the shower handles.  You want to hire this guy?  go ahead, his number is up there.

Called at 10:30 AM for a clogged main. Was exciting hear a tech would be here in 30-45 minutes.
90 minutes pass & no one showed up so I had to call & follow up. I was told this time 2 more hours because someone had truck problems.
No one shows up after two more hours so I call again.
This time I was told 90 minutes because the tech was just finished with another job & is headed my way.
3rd time calling after not being contacted that the timeline they gave me was still running late.
I call exactly 60 minutes later for the 4th time to see when a tech would be arriving. I was told another hour.
After another hour passed I called to cancel & was told a tech will be here in 45 minutes.
I kindly declined because no one had show up the previous 5 times I was told, why would this be different?

I waisted my entire Sunday waiting for no one to show up.
Unreliable & unapologetic. Not once did they apologize for all the screw ups.

0 stars! The owner Steve is rude and was yelling at me lying about a quote he gave me even when he did not! They charged me $426, they were here less than 30 min and did not send me a receipt. I called the office to ask for my receipt because I want to know why exactly I was charged that much and that's when the owner, Steve, starts yelling at me telling me because they did a job and that no one ever request a receipt! Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES! Rude, and way over priced. The plumber was nice but not nice enough to be worth $426, and he had his young apprentice doing the actual work! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, horrible business practice. And they didn't even honor the 10% military discount
