George and his team are fabulous! They come out quickly and are very reasonable on their pricing. I didn't know how my system worked, it has a rain sensor that stops the sprinklers from running and I thought it was broken and they showed me and didn't charge me for not knowing and they very well could of. I've had them out twice now. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

I have never written any review before but WOW-Anthony just came to fix my sprinkler that had a leak. First, he was on time. I cant tell you how many times I've had from other companies not even show up. He was sooo nice and polite and listened to what I wanted. He assessed my system, gave me recommendations and what it would cost. After an hour and 1/2 he had completed all the work and then showed me what he had done and tweaked the timers. Most awesome service I have ever had!

We purchased a new home that had some of the hardest water I have ever experienced. My hands were cracked and bleeding, my hair was getting dry and brittle and we were going through our soaps and shampoos like crazy with little to no lather. We were also concerned about how dry our babies skin was getting from their regular baths. A friend of mine recommended Atlas Plumbing so I called and had a great conversation about our options. They came over to the house immediately and took the time to look over everything and explain how the whole process would work. They were very up front about the costs and potential risks of installing a water softener on an older home which I appreciated. They also gave me best and worst case scenarios regarding how much we would spend so that there wouldn't be any surprises. I was grateful that they recommended spending more on a better unit rather than buying a cheap system that wouldn't last as long. You really do get what you pay for. They started work quickly and it was so nice having them around for the couple days they were here working. Such lovely personable people who were fun to chat with. They were so kind to my two 18 month old twins who just adored them. While they were installing the water Softener I also had them replace our kitchen sink with a nice deep basin and new faucet. They did such a beautiful job. They were so quiet, respectful, and clean while they were working.

We are doing a re-model of a home in Canyon Lake and hired Clint DIxon as our plumber. For the first few months, he was relatively reliable, and we paid him as per his fee schedule. In early November, he informed us that we needed a sump pump for our septic to function properly. He asked us to pay him in advance $600 for the cost of the pump and $160 for installation of the pump. Within 15 minutes of leaving our home he cashed our check and has been ignoring our phone calls ever since.
When we called him from another phone number (so he did not know it was us) he informed us that he had spent the money and could not purchase the pump but that he would buy it with money that his father gave him at Christmas, and would install it on Dec. 27th. Needless to say, he did not, and continued to ignore our phone calls until we threatened him with legal action. He then purchased the pump (according to the store, the cost of the pump is $400, not $600) and left it in our yard. He now owes us $200 for the pump, and $160 for advance payment on his labor.
We are now in the process of hiring another plumber to install the pump. Clint has once again disappeared and is not accepting any of our phone calls. I would NOT recommend him as a plumber to anyone, any time.

Horrible service!! I had a clean water broken pipe underneath my house. My handyman stated it was flooding underneath the house. I immediately called several plumbers, (this is around 5:00 pm). Even though every plumber states 24 hour and emergency service, I could not find a plumber who would agree to come by and fix the problem. I had to wait until the next day, at 8:00 am the next day I called Mr. plumber and explained the situation about my renters not having any water since the day before. I requested any expeditious service would be greatly appreciated. My renter called me several times that day and was worried they had not arrived, I called Mr. Plumber several times and they assured me that I was on the schedule, but the technicians were at other work sites and would eventually show up to make repairs. At 3:00 pm, Mr. Plumber called me at stated they would not be able to drop by the house and I would have to wait until the next morning. (This would mean my renters would not have had any water for 36 hours). I requested that I speak to the president of the company, they said he was not available. I knew I was beat and I would now have to find a new plumber, thank goodness I called another plumber at 3:00 pm and was able to find someone who would drop by and fix the problem. I don't understand how a reputable company can make a promise and an not keep it especially when we are dealing with a family with children who had no access to water. Why couldn't they show up, even if it was at 7:00 pm if they had promised to fix the problem. I would love the president of the company call me and explain how this could happen.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We used Franco on a recommendation and the entire process has been a joke. We had a leak in the shower faucet he said he fixed it for $500 only to be told that the entire shower and bath tub area needed to be ripped out because the leak was in the shower wall. No credit for the $500 already paid. The walls and bath tub were ripped out and we were left for 4 days with an exposed moldy wet mess, he had a church retreat to go to, that should have been our first clue that the project was going to go sour. Then, after asking and asking for a written estimate, 2 weeks later, he wrote one because we refused to give him any money. Now, 2 months later we are still trying to get Mr. Franco to complete the project. We are not paying him the balance of $3362 until the project is complete. He blames every problem or delay on someone else. This is his business. Days go by with no work done only empty excuses. Now, he tells us that he is retired, retired? then why start the project??? As of tomorrow he is going on vacation and sending his Pastor to complete the project. That says a lot right there. If you read a positive review on this company it was probably written by him or one of his family members.

When my AC went out I was refereed to them by my warranty company and it has been Hell ever since.
1. They took one month to submit the report to my warranty company. I had to contact the warranty company request the report... Then an additional two-three weeks to replace my AC after the parts were received.
2. It has been impossible to get a hold of anyone via phone, the manager responded one time via email - nothing helpful.
3. The technician ruined the power source of my water heater ( even though they were there to replace my AC)
4. The technician puncture a hole on a pipe in my attic causing a leak into my ceiling. And left a huge mess in my attic!!!!!!!!!!!!! ** still cannot get a hold of anyone..
5. Once they received payment from both the insurance and I, they have disappeared and are not to be heard from.

This guy had his assistant work a total of 1 hour 10 minutes and charged me for 2.5 hours at $87.50 per hour ONLY for the labor. When I asked about the charges he said that he is master plumber not a handyman that is why he charged that much. He said that even though they didn't work the full 2.5 hours he was charging for driving from his office which is 10 minutes from my house. So according to him it took them 2.5 hours just to change the washers and seats from the shower handles. You want to hire this guy? go ahead, his number is up there.

My neighbor had used Roto-Rooter years ago for the exact plumbing problem I was having, and she didnt have problems. So I scheduled service online. I was very detailed from the start, explaining that I live in a Manufactured Home that is 20+yrs old. That I have a waste water line clogged and its causing waste water to back up into the shower and toilet etc. I put in the wrong area code for my contact number, and did not realize this until no one showed during the scheduled time. I called the company and the woman said they had been trying to reach me, and that they could still make it that day. They would be here within 2 hours. They never showed. Since I initially screwed up, I decided to reschedule the appointment. The techs arrived on time and were very friendly and informative. The price I was quoted was $450 to unclogged my line. Ouch! I agreed and they went to work. After about n hour and a half of what sounded like the flooring in my home was being ripped apart, they informed me that I would need to have a Clean Out installed because my line makes a left turn to head to the main line and the Snake could not make that same turn. All homes have them normally. I asked what that would cost and they called their supervisor and they quoted me a price of $1300-$1500. I decided to shop around. They explained that once I got the Clean Out installed I could just give them a call back and they would come clear my line. They did not charge me for their time and effort, which I thought was cool.
I got the Clean Out installed for $500, and my friend who installed it informed me that I had a new leak. He said it was where 2 pvc pipes are joined. The leak was not there prior to Roto-Rooter. I made a note to point it out to the techs when they arrived. On Tuesday I scheduled service for Wednesday mid-day.
In my request I stated I had gotten the Clean Out installed and needed them to come back and unclog my line.
The tech that arrived was not one that had been to my home on the first service call. After getting him up to date on what had transpired with my clogged line, he informed me that Roto-Rooter does not service mobile homes. I told him they did a few days ago. He said he couldn't assist me and left. I called the company and was told by the female on the other end that Roto-Rooter does not make service calls to mobile homes. I told her that her techs were not a figment of my imagination. She basically hung up on me.
I was upfront from the beginning about this being a mobile home. How did they come up with the $450 they were gonna charge me to clear my line? Did I really need the Clean Out put in? Or was that a scam to try and get me to fork over that kind of money? What about the leak they caused?
My advice based on my experience is this, dont call or use this company.

These guys charge so much money, I could almost buy another house instead of having them repair my simple leak. It cost me $1250 to tell me it would cost $4000. Another contractor did it for less then their estimate. I sure hope Pleasanton gets a better plumbing company.
