We had family member  that needed a new toilet installed ASAP due to medical issues and we couldn't have asked for a better team to help us out so quickly. Joaquin was amazing!!! I sent out a quote request on Sunday expecting to get a reply on Monday morning when everyone is open. Joaquin responded with 30 mins with a ballpark figure which was very reasonable and in my budget. I sent them a link to my Aquasana Whole House Water Filtration with Saltfree Water Softener so he could clarify the price. Not only did he take his time in putting the system in right but he made it so it didn't take up my whole garage wall. He did everything he said he would do and more. I highly recommend this company as they keep their promises and stand by their work. Thank you Joaquin!

PlumbIt ran a new gas line in our home to operate a gas range during a kitchen remodel.

Received a response within minutes after calling and leaving a message. They arrived on time, were friendly and professional, wore their face masks and voluntarily removed shoes at the door (it was raining outside). Their prices are very reasonable. Everything was well explained, including warranty on work done. They removed old sink and faucet for me, re-routed pipes under sink, installed new sink and faucet, removed old water filter, and cleaned out garbage disposal. They even diagnosed another job for me as well (broken commode) which I will rehire to have replaced once I'm able to purchase a new one.

Brad B is the BEST! Prompt, professional and very skilled. He was honest and a straight shooter with regards to what I really needed. After getting a couple of estimates from other companies, I thought my water heater replacement project was going to be a major repair ($$$) but Brad knocked it out in half the time and 1/2 (or better) the cost of the other estimates. Brad will be my go to plumber for any future work or to recommend to others. Thank you Brad!

ETA: I have edited the review to add a photo that shows the written estimate that Cody sent me after we got off the phone. Before accusing a customer of lying, one would be smart to check their records and make sure they don't have proof to back up their claims. As noted, my initial interactions with this company left me feeling they were less than honest with their lack of transparent pricing. However, the harassment by Cody and Adam after leaving a 3-star review initially are what earned them a 1-star review. The reply to this one-star review below tells you all you need to know about Cody's character. In looking at other low reviews (to which PlumbSmart replied to every single one, blaming the customer), I now see that others have mentioned their high-pressure sales tactics. BUYER BEWARE!

P.S. Apparently this company works really hard to get Google to remove any review that is not 5-star, even when the review states facts and has receipts to prove it. I now realize PlumbSmart's 5-star rating on Google is not authentic. As Cody mentioned, Yelp does not allow businesses to bully or buy their way out of low reviews. Thank goodness!

Original Review: I reached out to this company for a quote for a water softener installation for our new home. The price I was quoted was $3,000 for the cheapest water softener they sell, plus an extra $2,000 for a carbon filter. That's high compared to other quotes, but no big deal. Companies can make up whatever price they wish.

The kicker for me was that I couldn't get a straight answer on the price to install a plumbing loop. I was told it would be between $800-$1500, but they would need to come out to the house to give me a price. Okay, that's fine. However, I was then told I was going to be charged $79 for a tech to come out to the house to tell me the price for the install. They advertise here on Yelp, Free Estimates, but apparently that is false advertising (see photo).

The final thing that didn't sit well is that they wanted me to commit to having the work done on the day that they came out to give the quote. I don't make a decision on a purchase that is over $6,000 on the spot. That is a very high pressure sales tactic. Ultimately, this made me choose another company.

That alone led to a 3-star Google review. However, after leaving that review, the two owners of the company, Cody and Adam, harassed me so much that I lowered my review to 1-star. What did that harassment look like? They collectively called and texted me TWELVE times in the span of one hour, calling from different numbers when I didn't answer the first number. They likely would have continued, but I blocked their numbers.

Clearly, they have some other good reviews, so I sincerely hope they were (both?) having an off day when they blew up my phone on Monday. However, based on the fact that they worked so hard to get me to take down my honest (3-star) review recounting my experience with their company, I question the legitimacy of their 5-star rating here. While I did not end up hiring them, my experience with them absolutely reflects their professionalism--or lack thereof. Honest, Fair prices and totally competent.  Love this plumber.  He watches my money like he is paying the bill.

So, David and Steven of First Choice Plumbing did a fantastic job of hooking up my gas dryer and replacing the shut off valve because it wasn't to code. They were timely, polite and very experienced. They also gave me a great quote for hooking up a gas line outside for our grill. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. All those stars on Yelp are obviously well deserved and I'm happy to add to them.

Showed up on time, and got the job done quickly. Kyle fixed the high pressure value and leak that was turning our yard into a muddy mess.  Saved us over a holiday weekend.  Would definitely use them again!

Jaime Santana did an excellent job with broken water pipes repair at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Manor, where I am the pastor. After the winter storm of February 2021, the water pipes of all of our buildings were damaged. Mr. Santana assessed the situation, explained what was required, and finished the repairs in a timely manner. He also ensured that all faucets/toilets/water outlets were properly working, and did the appropriate repairs when needed. I highly recommend Santana Plumbing Company LLC.

Theo and his trainee Paul were thorough and professional. They recommended an area wholesale supplier for a toilet that I needed or they could go get it for us if so desiree for a small fee. The labor costs were fair, the toilet repair has been reliable. I will go with them again when our household next has need of a plumbing service.

These guys are the absolute best, and Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing is a lifesaver! He's come to our home several times, often last minute, to make repairs and make assessments. He is so professional, so responsive and so easy to work with. Their prices are always reasonable, and Blue Dragon never overcharges or repairs something that doesn't need a repair. These guys honestly bend over backwards for their customers, and always provide the highest quality work for the best price.  Don't use anyone else!

Best plumbing service ever!!!!  Troy King was at my house in less than an hour after I called. Replaced my water softener and worked with me on the price.  Did a number of small plumbing jobs as well.  I will always use this company for all my plumbing needs!  The company also gives a 10% military discount.  Troy was very professional and knowledgable and went the extra mile to complete the job.

I have used AAA Auger since I moved to San Antonio in 2002.  Their service has always been timely as well as professional and priced very fair.  The plumbers are always neatly dressed, very courteous, and keep you advised throughout the repair process as to what they find and how they will resolve the issues.  In addition, their prices are quite competitive as well as transparent.  They give you an up front price as to what the repair will cost and there's never any surprises.  Today, Rudy from AAA Auger came out and cleared a sewer line blockage for me.  Not only did he clear the blockage, he ran a camera through the sewer line (at no charge) to ensure there were no other problems with the line--in addition, he recommended a periodic maintenance plan to ensure that I have no blockages in the future.  Bottom Line:  I count on AAA Auger for all my plumbing needs and I implicitly trust them--they're that good, honest, and reliable.

Wonderful service! Showed up early to my home and had my sink unclogged in no time. From start to finish they were professional and even cleaned up after. Highly recommend!

To say rip off is an under statment.  I called them to come out to fix my unit.  They told me 8-12.  At 2pm I called and supprise I was next.  After getting the call it was another hour.  Upon my protest they did knock off the 30 dollar service call.  He diagnosed my problem as being a leak in the compressor.  This was a full warranty part.  After taking what seemed like an hour of sitting in his van,  he came back with an estimate of over 2,200 dollars to replace the compressor.  400 dollars alone for 6 lbs of colant.  Mind you the entire unit cost me less than that 2 years ago when i had it installed.  I found another company that came out and replaced it for 300 and 100 for the coolant.  I find it discraceful that they take advantage of people in a bad situation by alluring them with low monthly payments.  Pass them up in my opinion.

I called roto rooter this afternoon for a clean out and I was told someone will contact me between 16:00-20:00 to confirm. I missed a call at 15:30 while I was on my way home. I called back as soon as I arrived at home like 15:50. They told me a dispatcher would call me back.  No one ever called me.  I called back at 1800 to see if someone is still making my service call. I was on hold for a long time again for a dispatcher to talk to me only to get the service rep come back saying they made several attempts to contact me and there was no answer.  I've been home since 15:50! I just canceled and went with someone else.  Don't waste your time with roto rooter! They keep you on hold and they don't adhere to schedule time of appointment and they lie cus no one there really wants to work!
