I am very pleased with the service provided by Blue Lion.  They replaced our 50 gal electric water heater, and plumbed it right, with a good attitude, and without complaint (nor additional charges) for non-standard items that I didn't mention beforehand.  Without agreeing to specifics before starting, they also installed a new expansion tank and put in a draining (to the outside) leak pan, and removed the piping that was in the way from a water softener.  They worked quickly and well, and it all looks great.  I am very pleased with every aspect of this: cost, quality, communication and on-time arrival, and going the extra mile to do it all the right way!

Rude, condescending.  I get it, you're busy and you're probably tired of vague homeowners saying things like, the thingy is leaking where the water comes out of the place or some other unhelpful description.  That would drive me nuts, too.

But I'm not all of those people.  You don't get to be rude to me just because you're having a bad day or you've picked a career you don't like.  I'm having a bad day, too.  No one calls a plumber just for fun.

So here's what happened, Brad.  I fixed it myself.  No big deal?

Yeah, it's  kind of a big deal.  We're completely gutting and remodeling our home in July and guess who I'm not using as a plumber?

After discovering a leak pouring down the side of my 21 year old water heater at 10:30pm on a Saturday night, I first tried to turn off the gas before turning off the water, but feared I may have just turned off the flame since I could not turn the dial completely to off. The situation could not have seemed more urgent. I called a plumber I had used many years ago, and got voicemail. I called a local San Marcos plumber with good Yelp ratings, and again voicemail. Since PlumbSmart could not have been more highly rated on Yelp, I called them next even though they are physically located in New Braunfels.

The CEO himself, Cody Blackmon, answered the phone. He immediately talked me through some emergency procedures as though I was the only person who mattered in the world at that point, and had me text some photos. The bleeding was stopped. Longer story short, I knew it was time for a new water heater, and by mid-day the next day, Sunday, PlumbSmart had a plumber quality (higher quality than retail as I understand it) AO Smith water heater right-sized for my home's need and installed in a first-class professional way. There are many other plumbing issues we are subsequently in the exploration stage on from longstanding needed repairs to effectively dealing with hard water.

I hired David to install a water heater and a water softener for me. He is very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and honest. It was a real pleasure to work with him. Everything was installed very well and professionally. I communicated with several plumbers to select one and David was a true standout. Best in product and customer service around the San Antonio area!  I had my water softener and reverse osmosis systems installed over 2 years ago and both the systems are still running the way they did since the day I bought them.  They gave us a military and pay with cash discount at the time of purchase (their not a door to door business that will go out of business and change their name to prevent warranties). I shopped around before I purchased and they were the best in service (see BBB and Angie's list) and in price compared to 3 other vendors.  I hadn't changed out my reverse osmosis filters for two years because it still tasted great.  The frequency that I use it is at least a gallon jug of water every morning and about another gallon throughout the day.  Also with no additional cost, they connected it to the fridge as well.  As for the softener, it still works great with no issues.  No hard water visible on sinks, showers or even facets (money saver on replacement costs and cleaning products) The cost of the system paid for itself.  When they say they will be there, they will and you can count on it!  You know they treat there employees great when the same person comes to your two years later (no turn-over on employees).  The individual that came back to my house this week was because my wife has been asking me to have filter changed.  The employee even demonstrated how to change it out and how the system worked so next time all I have to do is purchase the filter and change it myself to save a small service call fee.  I recommend AWS to all military, new home buyers and even if your needing a water softener system to help get rid of that hard water residue you've been fight with.  Your spouse will thank you!

Great response time. They weren't like the other plumber we had who basically came, looked at our connection without checking for PSI, etc then charging us $65 for a dispatch fee!

Adamson was great and installed our water softener in less then 2hrs. Seems like a very dependable company.

We had them out recently to try and figure out why we had a puddle in our yard. He was quick to get back to us, and we loved that he was located in Manor. We also appreciated his knowledge and honesty when he correctly stated that it was a problem with the city's water line. We will for sure hire him again if we ever have another need for a plumber.

Emilio came out to check on a pipe the pool guys hit. It wasn't a working pipe, but I just needed his professional opinion. He came over same day and gave me that reassurance. I will definitely give him a call if I run into a situation.

These guys are awesome! Came over with no issues to inspect my system and pointed out CO2 problem & were able to fix the system same day! Great service, great customer service, and great value! Noel & Jesse were professional, quick, and clean. Answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable about the HVAC system and explained why there was a problem & what it took to fix it. Very transparent about what they were suggesting and why. Recommend services!

I called Guarantee Plumbing after coming home from vacation to find my house flooded from a broken pipe in my bathroom. Guarantee plumbing sent their plumbers to my house the same day. I believe one of plumbers name was Manuel. Manuel was very professional and explained in detail to what needed done. The two plumbers who came to my house stopped the water and fixed the piping quickly and also helped me clean up the water. Guarantee plumbing went out of their way to resolve my problem.

This was my first time using AAA Auger Plumbing, and I was not disappointed! They are one of the best plumbing companies I have ever used, and here's why:

About 10 days ago, I could hear what sounded like water running through the pipes in the wall near our water softener in the garage, as well as in the wall by where a pipe burst during the freeze this year (also in the garage). I called out two other plumbing companies, and both of them immediately left the garage and said my leak was in the service line that ran from the main water valve to the house. They both proposed having to dig up my entire front yard to first find the pipe and then hopefully find the leak and fix it. Both quoted about 8 hours to find the leak, and both companies charged $175/hr. This would have cost $1,400 to just find the leak (if they were right about its location), with fixing it costing extra. The first company even charged me a $100 service fee just to come out to the house.

Thank goodness I called AAA Auger Plumbing Services, who sends out a plumber for free to assess the problem! They promptly sent out Adamson, who listened to my concerns, asked clarifying questions, explained the intricacies of plumbing to me like I'm five, and then told me what he thought the problem was (which made way more sense than the other two plumbing companies told me). He quoted me a very fair price to fix the problem (half what the other two companies had estimated), and then was able to isolate the leaking pipe and cap it to stop the leak quickly and without digging up any part of my yard (which, as it turned out, the leaking pipe was nowhere near the front yard). The quoted price is exactly what I paid, and now I will be using AAA Auger Plumbing for all of my future plumbing issues.

Pete was a true professional: excellent, knowledgeable, and most of all honest.  I've used his business for a number of plumbing needs and he's always responsive and fair.  His employees have always gone the extra mile to do a great job even when being called on to do an emergency job last minute.  I highly recommend Elite Plumbing . I called to schedule a service appointment. Gave them all the information about the property. They told me there would be a $75 fee because the unit is on the roof, although no other companies I have talked to charge this fee. I was told the scheduling person would call me back to confirm time. I get a call back about 30 minutes later and this person tells me they are not able to go today because my unit is on the roof and the technicians don't carry large enough ladders to get on roof. It's only a two story condo/townhome! Furthermore they told me since it requires a ladder to get on roof they won't be able to coordinate a technician to go out until Dec 19. Apparently it will take them 12 days to get a tech who has a ladder? Ridiculous!

They quoted my plumbing to be $3000 for 40ft of pipe work to be done and they only did 5 feet of pipe and my wife didn't check because we have a baby and I was at work so they made her sign without telling her they changed the plan, and still charged us $3000. Watch out for these scammers
They charged me for 35 ft and only did 5ft of pipe, I did not get my money back.
