This is the third time in 2 years we have used Anchor. The first was 2 years ago, ONE day before Christmas Eve when I was expected a house full of guests for Christmas.... Out goes the water heater!  Four hours after I called, the crew arrived, replaced the water heater, and had me ready for guests!  Since then, we had a scheduled water softener replaced by them. And most recently, an emergency clog in our kitchen sink fixed by Brandon Adkins.  He took care of our problem speedily!  Anchor is quick, courteous, and very reasonably priced. We will continue to go to them for our home needs.

Joaquin was very friendly and went above and beyond to explain what he was doing and what our plumbing issues were and gave several options as to go about fixing it. It was a simple unclogging  of the cleanout and he brought out the pipe camera and showed the interior of the pipes. Would  highly recommend and plan to use Andre's Pro Plumbing for all our future plumbing needs!

This small upstart company replied quickly. When they arrived they acted courteous and professional.  They evaluated the issue and gave me the best possible recommendation.  I had initially asked for a more expensive solution, and they were honest and knowledgeable, if I ever have issues again i will make sure that they are the primary candidate. I recommend them 100%.

I have used Blue Lion Plumbing in the past and had good results, but this time it was a very bad experience. I needed a water heater and I can go on and on with my poor experience and I have tried to settle my very poor experience with Blue Lion but they do not agree with anything I had to say. Blue Lion would not budge a single inch. Like arguing with a person that something is the color of white and they argue that the color is black and that is all they will ever see. I had a water heater replaced Saturday and after it was replaced it needed electrical work. I texted them to PLEASE call me the day the water heater was installed on a Saturday, but they never did call and never replied to my text pleading for help until the following Monday morning. So, I cannot recommend them for the poor customer service and lack of any customer service. So much for the customer is always right it was more like I am crazy for expecting anything from them or a simple return phone call or reply to my text was crazy. I know the owner or his wife will reply with something to my review making me seem crazy for expecting a little customer service and have a totally different story but you always have to remember there are always two sides of the story.  I also asked if they could offer any sort of discount for the $2,025 water heater since I have used them since 2020 and I had referred people to them and again not a single dollar could be taken off they said. They said that was the best price and no discounts could be given. You mean to tell me if a relative or someone who has only used them for plumbing as i did or good friend needed a hand that they would not give them a discount? I also lost my job in 2020 due to covid and as I said I used them and never asked for a discount but when this company could have really helped a person in need they just replied no. Please remember- Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind ALWAYS

Prompt, professional, and fast.  I would have no problem calling Brad again if I have a plumbing issue.

My second experience with PlumbSmart and they were terrific AGAIN!!
First time, they replaced our hot water heater in the attic and completed the job in excellent fashion with no wall dinged or any real problems/issues.  Cody has always been outstanding in working with us to provide reasonable quotes and win our business.  The second experience was replacing the hot water heater in our garage.  Ryan showed up on time, was professional and cordial and completed the work with no problems ... we replace a 40 gallon tank with a 50 gallon tank and all appears to be working well.  We've never had so much hot water in the house!!  However, in the process, Ryan discovered that our water softener was not performing properly.  Both the hot water head and the water softener had 19 years on them, so we were not surprised, but thankful they had lasted the long.  The original water softener came from another company that ONLY does water softeners.  We called them and they gave us an excellent quote over the phone, but had to schedule installation over a week out. My wife had suspected that the old water softener was performing weakly because it affected her hair and her skin itched (of course, guys, she was right!!).  Cody had provided a quote for a new softener, but the other company actually beat PlumbSmart by a significant margin.  Cody refused to give up and agreed to meet the price.  Ryan came the very next day and did the install of the water softener.  We admire a company that really wants our business and is willing to not only work with us, but do exceptionally good work!!  We're very pleased with Cody and PlumbSmart .... folks, all we can tell you is that they do what they say their going to do.  And, believe us ... we've experienced very unreliable and poor service from other plumbing companies.  PlumbSmart is a winner hands down.  We only hope they continue with their service attitude and fairness ... that being the case, we have our plumbers for life!! Thanks again to the PlumbSmart team for improving our life and reducing our stress.

After my water heater went belly up last night, the first thing I had to do this morning was to find a decent plumber. I consulted yelp and read many of the 5 star reviews for BG Plumbing. It seems everybody loves this company and its hardworking and honest owner who does all the work himself.  I called and received an appointment for that morning. Sure enough he arrived on time as all reviews had claimed and did a first class job quickly and professionally.  Thank you Yelp and all the people who reviewed BG Plumbing, you saved me a lot of headache.  I can't write a better review then the ones I've read they where all absolutely correct. I highly recommend BG Plumbing to anyone looking for a skilled and honest plumber. Thanks Tsanko (owner and first rate plumber) for your professional work, great job!

I had called David to checkout some small plumbing concerns with a rental property I had just purchased. I live in Austin, so he went to check it out and let me know that the water to the house wasn't currently turned on. I felt badly because I hate to waste anyone's time. He still checked everything out and gave me the best diagnosis he could without water.

As time proceeded, I had multiple other contractors in to work on other aspects of the property and they ended up taking care of the small plumbing concerns.

So when an opportunity came up for a installing piping for a washer and dryer, I called David again. He came to the site himself, completed the job the next day, for a fair price.

I will definitely utilize People's Choice for all my plumbing needs going forward.

Ryan and Matt provided exceptional service today when they fixed my sink faucet. I called and was lucky enough to get same day service. Within minutes I got a text that notified me with the plumbers information and his estimated arrival. Ryan's explanation on my faucet leak was very detailed and he gave me all the facts I needed to decide on how to proceed with the repair. I would definitely recommend their service to anyone, and when I have another plumbing issue I will be calling A & A. Their service was so great I am considering the VIP program they offer.

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home.  He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home.  Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath.  He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.

In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental.  My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.

And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze.  We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.

In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work.  Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. You are the best!!!

They did a good job hooking up my utility sink. On time and the price was comparable to other plumbers. I would use them again.

I have never written a Yelp review till now. I just recently purchased my condo and I have been living here for maybe a month or so. This morning after flushing my toilet a loud and vibrating sound was coming from I guess the pipes. Obviously I was freaking out because thoughts of my pipes bursting or something in that nature happening was going through my mind and it is Saturday so most places would be closed or charge extra to come out on emergencies and technically this isn't an emergency. I looked on Yelp and Blue Dragon Plumbing was first on the list with nothing but five star reviews. I called and left a message for Gilbert. In less than an hour he calls me back not once but twice because I missed his first call. He guided me on what to do which was turn my shut off valve to the toilet counter clockwise until it stopped and then he told me to flush my toilet and what do you know...no noise or vibrations! He told me that the valve wasn't open all the way and that is why it was making that noise and he was calling me while he was out of the state. He went way out of his way to help me out. I am definitely calling Gilbert and Blue Dragon Plumbing for any of my plumbing needs. He exceeded expectations. You just can't provide any better service than what Gilbert provided. Five plus stars!

These guys are awesome! Came over with no issues to inspect my system and pointed out CO2 problem & were able to fix the system same day! Great service, great customer service, and great value! Noel & Jesse were professional, quick, and clean. Answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable about the HVAC system and explained why there was a problem & what it took to fix it. Very transparent about what they were suggesting and why. Recommend services!

I was in need of a plumber because my water line that goes into my hot water tank broke and the pipe is welded into the house. Josh came within 2 hours on Saturday late afternoon, during this Corona Virus shutdown!! Excellent service and fast service!

My husband called them and they did arrive within hours.  But, they came and looked at our water heater issue, took $39 for show up fee and we never heard from them again.  They said they would give us a quote.  Nothing!  They even asked to use our bathroom during a pandemic.

After the big Texas storm which broke our pipes and left us no water we were lucky enough to schedule an appointment for the next day, or so we thought. After a phone and two texts confirming the appointment no one showed. We texted asking for the status of the appointment and called leaving a message which both went unanswered. We were now behind everyone else trying to get someone to come out and fix the problem. By the time we were able to get another plumber to respond it was 10 days later. That delay along with no courtesy to let us know they were not coming really did a number on us.

My elderly mother called to get an estimate on the repair of a light fixture in the spare bedroom of her house.  When the serviceman left, she contacted me to say he took an awful long time and mostly sat at the table writing the estimate.  It turns out he had recommended $17K worth of work to bring her 1950s home up to modern electric codes (in spite of the fact that there is no city requirement for this to be done) and he actually had the nerve to 'let' her pay in advance, by charging her credit card, for the work to be done later this week.  After I made three phone calls, took three hours out of my day and had a talk with a manager, I got the charges removed from the credit card, canceled the appointment for the work and lectured the manager on not using hard-sell, high-pressure sales tactics on the elderly, and that he should train his people thusly.  He insisted it was her choice to pay in advance and authorize the 'bring up to code' work.  I explained that the whole experience had the feel of a scam.  I will be at the bank first thing in the morning to assure the charges are not made to the card and I will never allow Jon Wayne to step foot in that house again.

They quoted my plumbing to be $3000 for 40ft of pipe work to be done and they only did 5 feet of pipe and my wife didn't check because we have a baby and I was at work so they made her sign without telling her they changed the plan, and still charged us $3000. Watch out for these scammers
They charged me for 35 ft and only did 5ft of pipe, I did not get my money back.
