I'm in the process of foundation maintenance which required a Hydro Static Test. I was not sure originally about the company since I didn't know anything about them however the company Oshlan foundation repair recommended them. I was nervous for any big expense so as always I had many questions up front. I was very impressed by their professionalism and attention to my needs. In addition to their knowledge! There was a hiccup at one point resulting with me giving feedback, without hesitation the company made it right. I'm a single woman and worry about unfair treatment anytime I look for trade professionals but Good Life Plumbing is really one of a kind. They made me feel safe and confident in their ability to complete the job. I also felt respected and trusted they were there to help me meet my expectations. We had a leaky hot water heater - after doing some research for a plumber, I didn't like what I saw regarding other companies, specifically with price switching. I read only one review on JA Zepeda and what caught my eye was he charges by the job and not by the hours worked.
My father called Zepeda and he was here within 15-20 minutes, gave my father a reasonable estimate, called his son with what he needed - they were done including cleaning up within a few hours.
Will not hesitate to call him back or refer to others!

These guys are the most dependable tradesmen in hill country. If you need anything that has to do with plumbing and want only the best service, fix the first time, this is who you need to call/

Great service!  Explained everything in great detail. Very knowledgeable. Tristian went out of his way to make sure I was pleased with everything. His support crew was great as well. They replaced my garbage disposal and piping under my sink.

Never called back the second time, I was going to give them another shot. The last time I used them the plumber spent most of his belittling his helper-over priced. Grandpa Plumbing in Spring Branch was very responsive and priced well.  Won't be back

Wasted my time and their time, couldn't diagnose a simple problem. Yes he was a master plumber. I found the solution on the internet, it even had a name for it. Sewer burp. Plumber sat on my tub for 40 minutes huffing and puffing and coming to the conclusion they were probably going to have to knock a hole in the side of my house to fix it. By now all I see is dollars flying out of my wallet. Rip off! Paid them almost $300.00 for nothing. Fixed it myself. A qualified plumber can fix problems leading to inadequate drain venting. This is a job for  a professional. Inspecting vents involves climbing to the peak of your  roof and visually checking for obstructions that interfere with proper  venting. The usual suspects include bird's nests and accumulation of  leaves or other wind-blown debris.
What Can Be Done
Frequently, the remedy for clogged plumbing vents is a jet of  high-pressure water. This can flush material inside the vents down into  the sewer line and out of your home. Most plumbing contractors have  equipment designed for this purpose and can complete the job quickly and  safely. Or if you are handy, you can do it yourself.

Apache arrived on time for our apt,  did excellent work ( city inspector agreed ) and at a fair price.

Great customer service from the first call to the finished job.  Shawn Edmiston and his assistant were very professional and courteous.  I do appreciate their Military discount as well.  I would recommend 100%.

Answering service said they didn't service area they show they have an office. Had to call and follow up myself to try to schedule service.

After successfully ci firming they did service my area (and allegedly have an office less than a mile from my house), they also confirmed they could perform the work I was requesting and would have a free service call to evaluate.  They required a 4 hour service call window, so I did a a 2pm-6pm window. After taking off a half-day to accommodate, I finally got a call at 6:30pm. The plumber simply told me they did not offer the service I needed (installation of a studor vent because my older house did not have a p-trap or vent for the washing machine drain). He told me at that time that they do not offer the service and he could quote the price to remove the faulting running trap and install a new one. I informed him I was not certain I even had a running trap, to which he said I probably did. I asked that he still come out to assess the situation just so verify. He fumbled around and said he would have to call his supervisor. He called back 5 minutes later and said it would be $12,850 to replace the running trap (that he didn't even know if I had). I asked that he still come out to look at it, and he said it would be $499 just to run a camera. No thanks, obviously a company that doesn't care about customer or the work.

Got a local small business to come out that next day, ran a camera for $75 to confirm I DID NOT even have a running trap, and they installed a new washing machine box, p-trap, and studor vent for less than $500.

Obviously a company that has grown too big to provide good service - have a 3rd party answering service that doesn't even know their service area, and plumbers that will do anything they can to avoid adhering to the service calls when their day is running long.

I would not recommend this company to anyone I know or even don't know. They were prompt in coming out . But didn't do anything. I asked if them would clean my drains (traps) in two bath tubs under the house. Come back said they couldn't feel a leak thru the insulation. I gave them the go ahead to cut the insulation open to find pipes, still would not do it. All they want is your money. I really would not even give them one star. The older one was condescending ( acted like I did not know what I was talking about) It was a sewer gas smell. Didn't check the traps or the vents. Just kept saying it was the cats making messes under there. I do know the differents!
