Showed up on time, didn't overcharge, and did quality work. Also advised me how I could avoid the problem in the future. Would use again
My toilet was leaking quite a bit of water from the base so we thought it was a bad seal.
After closer inspection, David realized it was not the seal but it was actually my AC unit on the other side of the wall dripping.
He was able to stop the leak and cleaned up all the water.
Davis is a great communicator...This is a rental property and I live out of town and David communicated with me in a way that made me feel like I was right there with him, even sending me videos and pictures of what he was explaining to me.
I will definitely be using him on all my rentals from here on out.
I used People's Choice Plumbing to install a water softener a couple of months ago. The plumber arrived on-time and did an excellent job with the installation and answering any of my questions.
The installation ended up being complicated, and he handled the situation swiftly and the right way. They followed up multiple times to ensure I was satisfied and having no issues.
I will 100% be using them again for any future plumbing issues!

Called and set an appointment. Receptionist failed to tell me there was a $180 diagnostic fee. Plumber said maybe he could help me out. Didn't want to pay $180 and then have him tell me he couldn't do anything.
Phenomenal service. Communication leading up to our appointment was very friendly and timely. Dave arrived on time to take a look at an issue we needed troubleshooting and also to replace an outdoor spigot. He did a great job and did not rush anything. I received a text less than a week later to make sure everything was working well. An after service follow-up text?! Who does that?? I replied with a different minor issue. Dave called me and over the next 15 minutes or so talked me through several possible fixes to try before scheduling another visit. Thanks to him I was able to take care of the minor issue myself.
I have never encountered a plumber with friendlier staff with such great service. We'll definitely call them for any future plumbing needs!
I was charged $360 for something that the owner knew was worthless, but said nothing. He knew I wanted a new water cut off valve at the back of the house, because of a under kitchen sink leak that he also repaired. When I found that water cut off didn't work , he simply said oh that won't cut off water in the house. It had before and the handle was not good and frozen in place . He told me right away he could fix it and make it better. I also told him I would not spend so much money on that but having it handy to turn off water if I had another plumbing leak . He knew but now denied, but taking advantage of the elderly is a sin. And certainly no way to gain repeat customers. ...

David was really nice and like another review he did request pictures first which I sent. He came and looked at the stuff I needed done and told me it was $180/hr up front but not until he started the job did he tell me I needed new faucets that he didn't have and if he did it would cost me more money to get from him instead of just purchasing and having him install. He basically tightened a bunch of screws on the things he could fix and charged $340. I still need the get the faucets and have them installed. I didn't realize it would cost so much and not have everything done. I did agree to his price terms but in the end I feel like I got the short end of the stick.

I'm extremely happy with the work provided by David. Our water heater broke - he was here the following day to replace and even relocated our old one. He was even doing research to verify if we still had warranty on our old one, sadly we did not.

Send me a text, show me the problem Wow, this was after the guy David and I had a long talk about my water heater problem ... I asked him about price and it was out of my budget at this point, because of not knowing what was actually wrong with the water heater . But clearly he was concerned about my situation so he said take picture of the leak and texted it to me and let me see if I can access and try to give you a more definitive price.
After a couple of photo texts he accessed the situation and said barring that there is no other problems.... this would be the price $$ but if there's other issues after we get there then the price will go up to this $$. A young man by the name of Stephen called shortly after I text David and he said he was on his way and promptly showed up very courteous, respectful and professional and quoted me a price less than what was quoted earlier I was happy to pay what was quoted earlier but he said don't worry just do a Yelp he also informed me of another potential problem which at this time I couldn't take care of however I will be using them again in the future in about a month. I know I've only use them once and for short period of time but I do highly recommend them and will be recommending them to my friends.
What I liked about the conversation on the phone: it was not standardize he did not talk to me like this was just business as usual he actually talk to me like I was a human on the other line if he were a doctor people would say he had a great bedside manner I'm just saying he wasn't trying to make a sale he was just being for real and honest. I guess it doesn't get any better than that. -

Hired Peoples Choice for the second time.
This time the owner didn't come out but sent a plumber that was experienced and knowledgeable.
He fixed my leak under my kitchen sink without a hitch.

Had a new water heater installed. Free estimate and was about 25% cheaper than a competitor.
David and Michael were super nice and very professional. Accommodated our working schedule (poor guys were working into the night) - not sure how many other companies would do that.
David made sure we were happy with the results before leaving. Just a really nice guy. Will be using them in the future and highly recommend to others.

I really want to give Dave 4 stars. He IS super friendly and has great communication. He responds promptly to texts and calls and arrived on time (for both visits).
He could not figure out what was wrong with my water heater but had no problem charging me a $70 diagnostic fee for the privilege of looking at it. He tripped a breaker because he turned my water heater thermostat up past 150 (max) degrees to test if the meter was broken. He quoted me $199 for a garbage disposal install and charged me $351 because he broke an unrelated pipe in the process of installing it. Finally, the disposal he installed STILL DOES NOT WORK because THERE IS NO ELECTRICAL OUTLET for it, therefore the unit cannot be turned on and I need an electrician. To be fair, he did tell me after the disposal was almost completely installed that there was no electric, but what was I supposed to do at that point? He looked under the sink [see diagnostic fee] and I assumed we were good to go.
Even more frustratingly, the Home warranty plumber came out and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. There is nothing wrong with the water heater. There was something going on with the outside garden hose hookup which he snipped and fixed in like 5 mins. $70 and problem solved. Water heater is now at 125 degrees and working beautifully.
We are now a week later and I still haven't got an electrician out here so I can have a working disposal. Will probably end up removing and returning disposal, if possible. Wish I had never called People's Choice.
Have used Dave for our personal and rental plumbing and been very happy. No different this time. Showed up, called about 10 minutes before arrival. Fast, efficient, professional. Work is warranted. Honest, dependable. Great company.
I had called David to checkout some small plumbing concerns with a rental property I had just purchased. I live in Austin, so he went to check it out and let me know that the water to the house wasn't currently turned on. I felt badly because I hate to waste anyone's time. He still checked everything out and gave me the best diagnosis he could without water.
As time proceeded, I had multiple other contractors in to work on other aspects of the property and they ended up taking care of the small plumbing concerns.
So when an opportunity came up for a installing piping for a washer and dryer, I called David again. He came to the site himself, completed the job the next day, for a fair price.
I will definitely utilize People's Choice for all my plumbing needs going forward.
David has been the best plumber I've ever met in my life. I work at Walk-on's Bistreaux and Bar and he has always arrived promptly and gotten the jobs done for a reasonable rate. I found this service through yelp and am not disappointed. There have been multiple occasions that we've needed their service and the People's Choice always delivers! Thanks so much and we will continue to use them! The other employees and David are all always happy to help too!

Thats where it all ends.
Asked him to recommend a tile guy. Guy calls but never shows. Plumber didnt respond when I mentioned this and our inconvenience.
Poor poor way to do business. Never calling them again.

Half the price for more and better work than Immediate Response. I broke my neighbor's water line from the main to the sprinkler box. It was after 6 pm and very few places available. I chose Immediate Response who charged $200 just to dig I foot around the line. The next day I broke my own line the same way during the day with a UHaul. People's Choice did it for no charge at all. In addition he found a second problem and fixed it too. He was half as much for more work.
I highly recommend People's Choice Plumbers.
People's Choice Plumbing was quick to respond and as a result fixed my claw foot tub which had not been draining properly since my husband and I purchased our home a year and a half ago. David was courteous and on time, I let him know I was trying to surprise my husband before he came back from a trip and David and his team stepped up to the challenge. I am grateful as we have not been able to use this tub and now I get to enjoy it!

First of all, I want to thank David for not treating me like some moron by telling me after explaining the issue that the water softener is the problem. I already confirmed that, cleared out my heaters, and performed several basic troubleshooting steps to identify to issue myself. I am usually wary about calling a plumber as they are rarely an inexpensive choice. But I was at a loss at what was causing my water pressure problems and David was very professional in listening to what I had done and what I believed was wrong. Ultimately he quoted a price at the beginning and zeroed in on the problem with a confident idea that this was it. My water flow is now outstanding and I would even say better than when the house was originally built 5 years ago. Thanks to David and People's Choice Plumbing for their outstanding professional service.

David and Michael came to check on my fairly new water heater because our water was not heating like it should. I called and David told me he would be able to come out that day which was incredibly convenient and he was about 25% cheaper than the previous quotes.
From the phone call to meeting in person, they were very courteous and professional. While at work, my wife was available for the appointment and they explained to her what they were going to do and then what they actually did in where she would understand.
They quickly drained,filled, and tested my WH and turned out to be working fine. He charged an easy 65 bucks for the house call and no problems since.
I would definitely call them again if I had another issue.

UPDATE: I called David again after my water heater busted & began leaking. As always, he moved quick/efficiently & got my water heater replaced. His communication w/me was excellent as well since my plumbing issue was in San Antonio but I had to work w/him from Albuquerque, NM where I'm currently stationed. David took care of me & my tenants in no time & continued to go above/beyond. Thanks again David!
The WORST!!! Cut holes in my wall he didn't need, cut the pipe wrong, took forever. Didn't know what he was doing. Boss kept calling every few minutes, obviously not too confident in his employee either. The owner was rude and talked down to me, and they were OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE

We got a random pipe leak right before our guests arrived for Thanksgiving. David was not the first plumber we called but was responsive, professional, and was clearly very experienced. The first company immediately jumped to the worst case scenario, and were threatening thousands of dollars for the repair. David came out for a free preliminary estimate and was very upfront about his pricing to diagnose the source of the leak, which we greatly appreciated. He was able to work us in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and was able to quickly find the source of the leak and fix it for a very reasonable and fair price. He truly saved out Thanksgiving holiday since we were having to keep the water off before the leak was fixed. We would absolutely recommend this company for plumbing needs and emergencies.

Really poor service, they would agree on the phone to perform service and then rudely decline through mail. Not to be trusted.
Update: David has come to the rescue again! Our guest bathroom tub drain was leaking water through the bathroom wall and causing our hallway floors to bubble up. Our house was built in the sixties and therefore our tub drain was not the standard size compared today's parts. David went out of his way to find the right part, show up on a sunday to fix it after an earlier assessment of the situation, and gave me a fair price to fix the problem. I would definitely encourage neighbors, friends, and family to call Peoples Choice Plumbing for their plumbing needs.

Based on all of the positive reviews, called 1/7/2017 after discovering a leak at our water meter. Never received a call back so called a second time several hours later. After describing leak & texting pictures, was informed that services are $180/hour plus $120 diagnostic fee...so $300 right out of the gate. Luckily, I was able to fix the problem myself for less than $10 after locating the necessary part at speciality plumbing store.
David came out this morning to do an assessment on some water damage in our kitchen for our insurance. He was on time, very professional, and quickly diagnosed the issues he found! We will definitely be calling him again. Thank you!

We came home the day after Christmas, and noticed the hot water pressure was low and quickly discovered the hose on the water heater had ripped off and was spraying water everywhere. We turned to Yelp and saw People's Choice had great reviews and even a coupon. We gave them a call and quickly got a hold of someone - we explained the problem and sent pictures of the issue as they advised so they could provide some guidance. David was patient in explaining his recommendations and they were able to come by that afternoon, keeping in regular communication with us to keep us posted on time. David was able to replace the hose to stop the spraying - due to other appointments, he wasn't able to fix the pilot light at that time, but provided his feedback on how we could fix and advised to call him the next day if we still couldn't get it lit. Luckily, we were able to let the heater dry out and were able to get a light...but I appreciated that he followed up with us a few days later to make sure things were good and if there was anything else we needed. We'll definitely use People's Choice in the future if we run into any plumbing issues again!

Peoples choice plumbing had a very complicated job to do at our space. We have a rough industrial space and they needed to find a sewer line for our sinks. This was a very complicated job that many plumbers couldn't figure out. Peoples choice plumbing came out and diagnosed the situation (for free), then figured out a solution to the situation and fixed it up perfectly. I would recommend peoples choice plumbing to anyone that needs either a residential plumbing issue fixed or a commercial plumbing issue fixed. They pulled all of the permits required and had the inspector come out immediately to issue the green card. I am very happy with my decision and would call them again for any issues that might arise. Great service from David the plumber. He communicated by text to arrange the appointment and even let me know when he was on his way. He even waited about 15 minutes once he got there while I finished feeding my baby daughter. We had a clog in our sink and he was able to unclog it right away. He even put all my junk away that I had under my sink. Definitely didn't have to do that. Price was really reasonable and I would definitely use them again.

Good service, reliable and straightforward. Dave came at short notice was able to troubleshoot and fix our leak. Dave is a good example of doing it right the first time compared the original plumber that cut corners.
Oh man, we are so grateful for David! This (SUNDAY) morning our kitchen sink backed up and the pressure caused water to gush out onto our floor from the pipes. David answered our call immediately. Although he was on his way to another call, he updated us on his progress via text messages. He was able to come and clean out our pipes by the afternoon. David is professional and HONEST! I compared his bid to replace a garbage disposal and it was much less expensive then competitors. He always answers his phone when I call. He even made an extra trip back to my house to drop off a little strainer for my sink to help me, at no charge.
My water softener went belly up and water was leaking all over my floor. I tried calling a few plumbers and couldn't get anyone to answer - People's Choice answered on my first try and Dave was able to help me quickly bypass the softener so that we wouldn't have to go without water. He gave me some helpful advice and I did some research, but in the end, I was so pleased with his quick response and helpfulness, that I decided to go through him to get the softener replaced. I'm glad I did. Dave is friendly, quick, and knowledgable. I will be using him again should the need arise.

I was unfortunate enough to have 1/2 inch of water around my water heater when I got back from a business trip. After calling Lowes, a few other people, and David, I settled on David to both furnish a water heater and replace it. It was easy enough to get an estimate: I sent him some photos of the space and, after some back and forth, he provided an estimate. It was about the same as what one of the other places was, but the way he communicated expressed a strong sense of integrity, which I value.
After the job, I'm glad I chose him. My water heater was old and required numerous code upgrades. He was committed to getting the job right. He understand that a job well done turns into a good review which turns into more business, and I respect that attitude. I can't recommend him enough for your plumbing needs.

The plumber never showed up. He called and told me to send a photo of the required part and I did so. He suggested I find the part then he would install. Never followed up. If I could give negative stars I would!
After having challenges in working with other plumbers, David has exceeded my expectations with high quality work and superb customer service where he charges reasonably for labor and materials. I've had continuous upgrades in my kitchen- from valve replacements, to sink and faucet installation- and each step, David has been communicative on price, services and timeline. With an upcoming dishwasher installation, David is my go-to person. He's honest, punctual and responds quickly. It's hard to find trusted resources, and I highly recommend People's Choice Plumbing.
Dave came by our old house to take a look at several different issues we were having. He provided some advice on ways to prevent leaks, fixed a p-trap and helped solve water pressure issues in two sinks. He was very thorough and genuine. His pricing was average, not too high, not too low. For a reliable, trustworthy plumber and team who care and don't just give the quick fix, he's the best in town I've found. Just want to say he was awesome! Needed to have a kitchen faucet replaced. When he got here he made sure that was the only issue. So, David and Steven of First Choice Plumbing did a fantastic job of hooking up my gas dryer and replacing the shut off valve because it wasn't to code. They were timely, polite and very experienced. They also gave me a great quote for hooking up a gas line outside for our grill. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. All those stars on Yelp are obviously well deserved and I'm happy to add to them.

My kitchen facet needed to be replaced asap because it had a bad leak. I called Dave because I read the awesome reviews and told him I needed to go pick up a facet and have it installed the same day. He said no problem text me as soon as you get it and he quoted me a way better price then a bigger company I called the night before. He came installed my new facet right away. Did an awesome job and even checked my hot water heater at no additional cost when I told him I had concerns about it. From now on I will only be calling Dave for my plumbing needs.
I had a plumbing issue that I was working on all weekend and couldn't figure out. Finally I decided I needed a professional to complete it. I called peoples choice on a Sunday morning at 8:30. David was on the way to an appointment and said he would stop by afterwards. He was there at 9:30, we agreed on a price and he was done by 11 am. He even took a few minutes to explain how to do another project in my home. Very happy.
Nothing to complain at all. They are responsive and very flexible in scheduling. Price is fair. I would definitely use them again.

Great company and customer service. Our plumber was there within 20 minutes of our phone call. Very courteous. Explained everything. Will definitely use them again. Tracey at the office was very professional and accommodating too.
Great and prompt service. I called the office due to the fact that I accidentally yanked a pipe out of the ground causing a mini-Old Faithful in my backyard. The person I spoke to on the phone was Steven. He talks to you like a real person not as a businessman which was appreciated. Steven said to text him pictures of the the problem area, which in my opinion is an important thing to do so one can assess and plan accordingly in tackling a job. He said he had some openings in the afternoon but if he could get David out sooner he would. Sure enough David showed up around 11:30 which is appreciated since I had to shut my water off due to a busted pipe. David was courteous and professional. The price was just right for the job and labor. If I had another plumbing emergency I would definitely use them again!
Had a faulty pipe connection that caused a leak inside an interior wall. They were booked at the time but went out of their way to get out to me and get it fixed.
People's Choice plumbing was great! Came to fix a leak problem in my downstair bathroom. They were on time and very concerned about doing the work right. Steven explained things very well and was honest about the time it would take to fix the problem. Gave me an estimate and that was exactly the final bill. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.
I choose People's Choice Plumbing due to all the wonderful reviews on Yelp. My water heater was leaking late Saturday night. I called early Sunday morning and David came out within an hour to assess the situation. He was able to replace my water heater the next day and fixed the wiring/connections up to code. His quote was true to his word and very reasonable compared to other local companies. I'm a big supporter of local businesses and rely on Yelp to support local commerce. David was professional, finished his work within the 4 hr window and showed me the improvements he made. From the moment he arrived at my house, I had a good feeling. I will definitely be a customer for life! Thank you David for being honest, reliable and performing great work!
Absolutely terrible customer service. I called as we had a large break in our water pipe and had to turn off the water completely. I was asked to send over my contact information and informed that someone would stop by in the next 1-2 hours to assess. I missed work to stay home and wait for the plumber, who never arrived. Additionally, I never got a call to say that the plumber was not coming. The next day I reached out again as I was still without water and was advised that they were busy and never got around to it, because that's how plumbing jobs work. If they were busy they should not have committed to come in the first place, and should at least do the courtesy of informing customers that they will be unable to keep their obligation. They agreed to visit the following day and I asked if this was a sincere promise and I was told that I should probably find another plumber. I am truly aghast that this business was reviewed so highly and I will not be seeking his services again. The highly rated reviews were clearly in exchange for discounted rates, as other reviewers mentioned. Exceedingly disappointed.
I live in Houston but am inheriting a property in San Antonio which had a running toilet. I was able to make an appointment with David to work on a Sunday while I was in town and discussed the problem by phone. He thought he may need to replace the toilet and recommended a specific brand, advising me to have it ready in case. Turned out the old toilet was hard to find parts for and he just installed the new one along with a new cutoff valve. He was very up-front about the costs, reviewing each before proceeding. He was very prompt, efficient, and tidy. He also checked out a fridge problem (not worth repairing) and fixed a loose under-sink pipe. I was very pleased with his work and advice! I had a related problem the next day which he helped with by phone. I feel confident about calling this company for my next plumbing repair need!

David is the kind of plumber you hope to get when you need one while you're searching through online reviews. Fast, friendly, affordable service without any shenanigans or shady BS. I had a clog way down my main line that I couldn't reach with my little 20ft rooter snake. I called Quest first, but they said it would be at least 4 days until they could get to me. People's Choice Plumbing was my next call. David said to give him some time to finish what he was doing and he'd be right over. This was 3:00pm in the afternoon. He was at my house an hour later, and was done by 5:00pm. Needless to say, David will be the first guy I call from now on if I need a plumber.

People's Choice Plumbing is definitely the people's choice. The plumber, David came first thing in the morning exactly like he said he would, identified the problem quickly, and priced out the work - which was very reasonable. He was very professional and quick. I would recommend him to everyone and if I have any future plumbing needs I will be calling People's Choice! Thanks for getting our kitchen back up and running!!
After calling for the first time, David and Michael came quickly to my house and gave me a fair quote. I felt at ease with them and felt confident based on previous reviews that the guys were honest and fair. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is that I had to show David how to plug up our toilet after he used the long plunger for 30 mins to clear the drain. After I clogged up the toilet, the diagnosis was, I need a stronger toilet (with bigger diameter p-stopper). New language I have learned. Over a hundred dollars later, I was told I need a stronger toilet. At least I know I don't have a clogged pipe.

What can I say that hasn't already been said, David is great. He was on-time (actually early), knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly, gave me a free part and advice on how to get replacement parts from Moen at no cost. He could have fiddled with things and wasted time just to over charge me (like many other plumbers have done) but he didn't. This is probably the first time I have had a service repair person look out for my best interest instead of his. I will definitely be calling on him again!

Fantastic communication and service with responding to an outside water leak we were experiencing. Dave and his helper arrived right on time (actually a little bit early) and explained everything regarding the expected repairs and costs. Very reasonable and excellent work! Will be using them again.

I hired David to install a water heater and a water softener for me. He is very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and honest. It was a real pleasure to work with him. Everything was installed very well and professionally. I communicated with several plumbers to select one and David was a true standout. I absolutely recommend him with no hesitation for all plumbing jobs.
