The service I received today from start to finish was outstanding! They dispatched Pete Katauskas as their service representative. I love how I received a text letting me know Pete was on his way AND sent a pic of him. Soon after, Pete called me to provide his estimated arrival time. He did a super job in assessing the issue with the water heater. He quickly made the repair and explained what he found. He also provided estimates for replacement. I highly recommend this business, you won't be disappointed! Top notch all the way!!

It was a Friday; yes Friday.  We had an in-wall plumbing issue caused by a mistake made when self-installing an outside hose-bib; ay carumba!   I had to shut off the water at the main and so our otherwise happy camp was not so happy.  Another plumber we had used and liked could not make it to us until the weekend had passed.  Seeing the good reviews I reached out to Blue Lion.  They were sympathetic and worked on way to get a plumber to us the next morning.  Martin and a helper showed up, fixed the issue and charged us what I thought was a very reasonable price.  I think we have a new go-to plumbing company.  Thank you, Blue Lion!

Called about a hot water heater issue, told me it needed to be replaced before even going to look at it. Had another plumber go out to check it out, it actually does not need to be replaced and can easily be fixed for far less than this guy was trying to tell me.  You can't diagnose the problem when you haven't even looked at the issue dude!

*update, the problem was that the tenant hadn't switched the pilot light from pilot to on. but yes, that would require a brand new water heater.  highly recommend looking elsewhere for plumbing services.

New to the area and needed a plumber to fix two leaking toilets and a clogged sink at our new home. Thanks to handy dandy Yelp, I found Plumbsmart. I called the number and left my information with a receptionist. Shortly after, Roger reached out and quickly got us scheduled. He texted the day before to confirm time and texted the day of to let me know he's on the way and his ETA. He fixed all our problems so quickly and helped us with a wobbly faucet handle with ease. Very kind, polite, professional and answered all our questions. I definitely recommend Plumbsmart!

After my water heater went belly up last night, the first thing I had to do this morning was to find a decent plumber. I consulted yelp and read many of the 5 star reviews for BG Plumbing. It seems everybody loves this company and its hardworking and honest owner who does all the work himself.  I called and received an appointment for that morning. Sure enough he arrived on time as all reviews had claimed and did a first class job quickly and professionally.  Thank you Yelp and all the people who reviewed BG Plumbing, you saved me a lot of headache.  I can't write a better review then the ones I've read they where all absolutely correct. Excellent service. I called and got an estimate then scheduled a date. Everything was completely explained and work was completed in one day. Even with the install from the main water line which the dug by hand and under a sidewalk. On the previous estimates they wanted to bring in a backhoe and dig out the front lawn. They also wanted to demolish my sidewalk. Their quote was over twice the price.

Within minutes I got a text that notified me with the plumbers information and his estimated arrival. Ryan's explanation on my faucet leak was very detailed and he gave me all the facts I needed to decide on how to proceed with the repair. Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

Home emergency repairs can be scary when they happen, especially when it comes to water. How bad is the issue? How much will it cost to fix? Who should I call?

I'm glad we stumbled across these guys. They really are the best. We've used them several times over the past year and a half, since the beginning of glorious 2020. Everything from a leaking water heater, leaking toilet, busted pipe in our wall, faucet installations, and water heater install. They do it all and each time they came through the quality of service has been outstanding. They have this friendly-neighbor feel to them. Whenever we have a water issue we do not hesitate to call them. Each of these guys perform consistent quality work.

I called Guarantee late on a Friday to help diagnose a low water pressure issue. They had someone out first thing Monday morning.

When they knocked on the door, the technicians were wearing masks and made sure it was ok for them to enter. While one checked the pressure outside, another allowed me to show them what was happening inside.

The technician told me the pressure was low and there were a few things it could be. He walked me over to the water line boxes near the curb and showed me the water pressure regulator valve. He explained that it could be that it just needed to be adjusted. He talked me through everything he was doing while he did it. Meanwhile, as he made adjustments, the other tech was taking reading at the hose bib.

After he righted the pressure to 70 PSI, he said he wouldn't charge me the full amount and only charged $45!

They were gone and my problem was fixed in 20 minutes! I felt like they were very transparent about what needed to be done.

AAA Auger installed a new back flow preventer and certified testing of it in February 2014.  The back flow preventer stated leaking  badly in October 2014.  Isolation valves that they installed didn't work.  Called for them to come out on Monday and arranged for appointment on Thursday morning.  They didn't show.  I called and they said that they were short handed and apologized.  Rearranged visit for the the next day in the afternoon.  They didn't show so I called again.  They said that they would send someone out before end of day.  I had to leave for a dinner.  They called me at dinner and said that the repair was going to cost about $600 when I had paid almost $900 for the new facility only 8 months ago.  Told them that they should repair for free and they said nothing.  I checked the next day and it was still leaking.  I called and they told me that it was out of warranty and that they didn't repair it because I didn't authorize it.  Too bad for me.  Sad that a company puts in a substandard facility with no cutout valves and won't repair their substandard work.  Would not recommend them to anyone.  Work doesn't last and company doesn't honor their appointments.

Not happy with Jon Wayne. They came out to my home in San Antonio, quoted me ridiculously high prices on a simple job.  Over $1,000 for a simple about hour long repair, to close to $2000 ($1904 to be specific) for the same job with a longer warranty. Had a different company come out to evaluate the problem (didn't charge me a dime!) who charged me half! of what Jon Wayne tried to charge me - for the same job! The other company was responsive, polite, and came promptly and with no fuss.  I would not work with Jon Wayne in the future - will definitely be working with the other company if I have any plumbing issues in the future.

I called roto rooter this afternoon for a clean out and I was told someone will contact me between 16:00-20:00 to confirm. I missed a call at 15:30 while I was on my way home. I called back as soon as I arrived at home like 15:50. They told me a dispatcher would call me back.  No one ever called me.  I called back at 1800 to see if someone is still making my service call. I was on hold for a long time again for a dispatcher to talk to me only to get the service rep come back saying they made several attempts to contact me and there was no answer.  I've been home since 15:50! I just canceled and went with someone else.  Don't waste your time with roto rooter! They keep you on hold and they don't adhere to schedule time of appointment and they lie cus no one there really wants to work!
