So after having several issues with other people, I called Anchor. I first looked on Yelp and seeing all the positive reviews, boom made that appt. They scheduled it for a few days later with a few hour time frame. I got the call that the guy was on his way. So after about an hour of work, the issue was kind of fixed. Not on their end but mine, looks like an electrician is needed now but the part works. I have a few more things that I want some and will be calling Anchor again. Keep up the good work you guys

Matthew came out to help us and he was outstanding. He fixed 2 problems we had with sinks. They are a little pricey but that is because they don't mess around! They will come out on time and fix the problem. I recommend them their services especially if you are working in real estate and need someone reliable and trustworthy.

Henry is amazing! He responded within an hour to my request for a garbage disposal installation, quoted a fair price and set an appointment with me the next day. He communicated updates on timing via text and arrived on the earlier side of the service time window (much appreciated). Payment and checkout was easy as well. Professional and friendly, I would absolutely hire Henry and Plumbit again!

I had a leak and blue line plumbing responded to my service query quickly and came out and repaired the issue the same day.

I don't write too many reviews but this gentleman just hit a nerve. I recently had my water heater changed out and soon afterwards I had some pressure issues. I called the company that swapped out my water heater and they indicated that the problem could be our softener and that they unfortunately do not service water softeners but to search for other plumbers that do.
I jumped back on Yelp and searched Water Softeners Brad B came up with excellent reviews. So I gave him a call. I work in the oilfield, so I know about working in the heat, cold, rain, dirt and sweat. I understand that it takes a toll on your tact. But the snappy and quick response he gave was unneeded. He first had issues hearing so I spoke louder. I told him that I would like to get my water softener serviced. He replied, I don't do that, you need to call a water softener company, plumbers don't do that!
In a firm believer that customer service is always worth paying for. If you want your company to prosper you need to learn to give better responses. Not your attitude. Time is money, and I'm not interested in wasting time on your attitude, I prefer your service or advice. A simple, I'm sorry sir, I do not service water Softeners but I can recommend some companies if you like, would suffice.
I had no experience with his trade but his customer service needs work. I won't be calling him ever again.

Cody and team were extremely helpful, thorough and responsive throughout the entire process of selecting and installing a water softener for our new home. Cody helped us evaluate budget vs. quality of machine and gave us great options to choose from. The installation process was quick and smooth. I would highly recommend PlumbSmart - we had an amazing experience with this team!

Fast, affordable & very helpful! I called in the morning and he was able to stop by a few hours later. We had a rusted/frozen gas dryer pipe and he was able to get it functioning. Tsanko was able to quickly diagnose an issue with a hot water heater and gave me lots of options on how to remedy / fix it (a tankless heater is probabky in our future!) I will definately be using Tsanko for any and all plumbing needs and recommeding him to local friends.

Hired Peoples Choice for the second time.
This time the owner didn't come out but sent a plumber that was experienced and knowledgeable.
He fixed my leak under my kitchen sink without a hitch.
We will be calling these guys again in the future.

Best customer service we have ever experienced. Actually, my husband did business with Alamo recently and he was blown away by their product and customer service. These guys really care. I give them the highest of recommendation . We live in Helotes were the water is extremely hard, they know their business. We are extremely happy.

It saddens to write another review that is unfavorable to this company because generally they are so nice. Well, I understand now why one reviewer stated this company doesn't always do big jobs well. First, there was only one small leak in a shower pipe upstairs after we removed the shower that needed repair. Edward came with another plumber, he shut the door, and I trusted my home to him. He did such good work previously. After he finished, he asked me to check his work, and I was disappointed that he had cut the copper pipe that had a small leak and the hot water tub pipe beside it and replaced both top portions with pex pipe. The pipe he was supposed to fix was still leaking when I checked--a little more than before. He checked, held up a finger to the light for his partner to see, who said, What? Edward said, It's leaking, it's our weld. Well, I read copper doesn't weld well with pex, plus copper is more rare and expensive and I fully expected equal replacement, especially because he had fixed the shower fixture pipe and said pex was twisted on and would leak. I asked why did he cut my copper pipe that wasn't leaking? When I talked to the boss, he said to go above and beyond, but on Monday site supervisor and Edward said to bring it up to code. It was already up to code. I said I wanted my copper pipes I fully expected, and after some resistance, I was told yes because it didn't say they would do that in the contract. The site supervisor called and said he was coming out to do the work himself--new copper. In the meantime, at 11:00 p.m., the pipe they didn't have to cut had a leak and the water was coming through the ceiling. I heard a very steady drip drip, and water was rolling rapidly on the inside ceiling bowing the tape. I didn't know how long it had been like that, but the carpet was soaked too. My husband turned the water off. No one answered Friday, January 14, 2022, even though I have the plan for emergencies. When no one answered Saturday, I went online to chat on their website, and that worked. The emergency worker came alone, and he cut the leaking pipe on the copper and capped it until Monday when they would replace both with copper. But the pipe was hot and he dropped it on my rug and burned the rug. Oh, my! The worker who arrived was excellent, but his explanation wasn't--company emailed his report stating it wasn't their fault, after he said it's free because we cannot tell if it is our fault or not. But it would be too coincidental. They wrote it is the way the builder built the house (What! 22 years ago it was built, and would have leaked before now). Especially because the site supervisor who came Monday to replace everything with copper stated, You have to be careful working with these pipes, saying this to my husband also. They didn't have a report signed, left, and emailed a report with just a horizontal curved line as if it was signed. Anyway, I called the boss and insisted they don't blame the builder on a new report because when they have you sign, they don't show you what they are saying. To the boss's credit, he changed the report to read it was not their fault, deleting anything about the builder, but I submitted both reports to my insurance company. The boss said he is sending a carpet company but I couldn't meet them at their time, and he will not give me the name. I asked can I choose my own company. Finally, I am happy with the new copper welded pipes. I asked for the site supervisor to come back to put in new fixtures-while the shower is out, it's the time to get new handles. So I think it depends on who you get in this company, and site supervisor and his partner are so very nice, exceptionally so, and did a great job! One helpful tidbit--if there is a slight bit of mold on your sub-floor of the shower when removed, like mine, insist they cut out the ceiling downstairs. I asked, but the mold remediation company didn't think it was warranted. There was more black mold in the ceiling on one beam. So God brought something good out of something bad, as it is His habit to do. Mold remediation was done upstairs and downstairs today. The downstairs mold grows over time, and, therefore, was not caused by the company, but probably from the previous leak they came to fix.

Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

They came at a short notice. Did a great job! Our filter wouldn't fit but they went to Home depot, got the required items and made it work fairly quickly. Even found and fixed another plumbing issue.

Gilbert completed a list of miscellaneous plumbing chores for me today that I had been putting off for a while. He replaced all the shut-offs to the washer and bathroom fixtures, which had frozen up with good old Austin water calcium; he also rebuilt the toilet workings. Given the nature of the job, rather than stack up fixed charges for each item, he charged an hourly rate for only as long as the work entailed (the total has about half of one of the line item bids).
I had used him several months back to replace my water heater and repair some fixtures. I really like the fact that he always has offered up options with clear explanations. Both experiences showed his work to be fast, efficient, and of good quality and care; and as a person he has been prompt, professional, and friendly and easy to work with (especially to schedule). Given that no one wants to have plumbing work done, I must say that that both times he left me happy with my selection and with the work.

I'm not gonna lie, I've been eyeballing disposals since I moved into my new house. My old life did not involve a screen over my drain and produce matter in varying stages of decomposition in a compost bucket on our kitchen counter.
I didn't want one of those anemic one-third horsepower disposals. I wanted the sort of disposal that could safely dispose of such a disposal. I wanted something that takes rice and coffee grinds or an InSinkErator 1/3 HP Disposal and eats it for lunch. So I waited and eventually Costco had an American Standard on sale - running a whopping 1.25 horsepower for $69.99. Good luck installing it [cackle], the cashier said to me on the way out, as he laughed in an evil fore-shadowy manner. So rather then mess up my plumbing and causing a leak under my sink like last time I decided to hire a pro.
It's a garbage disposal Michael, how much can it cost to install, ten dollars?
Turns out its not that cheap. $250 from my plumber, the guy who has done work on my house before. I told him I would get a few quotes and call back, which was a lie.
Mr. Rooter thought my sink was made of gold or something, because they quoted me $240 - $340. Beyer plumbing: unable to provide a quote without a phone number, yuck. BG: $175. My plumber texts, he's down to $175 b/c he realizes I'm a repeat customer.
Meanwhile Pete from Elite responded quickly to the online quote request, was at $125 flat rate, and was able to schedule someone to be here in an hour or so even though my request was not a time sensitive one. It was a no brainer.
I had a second plumbing issue - a contractor had routed my dishwasher drain cord through a cabinet. Elite helped me fix that on-site as well at additional charge. Overall great service and I'm super happy with the disposal installation.

John Wayne has a nice website and they were easy to schedule. However, we were very disappointed in their high pressure tactics when they actually arrived to fix our issue. Here was our experience:
I was out of the country on business when my wife noticed a water leak in the garage. Since I didn't have an international cell phone plan I used the John Wayne website to schedule service. Within minutes I had an appointment with them to come repair the leak.
In the day between scheduling the service and a John Wayne repairman showing up my father-in-law was able to find the leak, which was coming from our hot water recirculation pump, which was its own separate system from the hot water heater.
When a John Wayne representative arrived the next day my wife spoke with him about the issue. Not sure if this is their standard tactic, but he immediately began pressuring her to purchase a tankless water heater system for about $8,000 (really?!). He explained the pump needed to be replaced (for $1300) but that he recommended replacing the entire water heater system versus just the pump. He also said a water heater our size (75 gallon) isn't manufactured anymore that would fit in the same spot and that a tankless water heater was the best way to fix the problem. And, of course, it was the last day of a special promotion. However, she knew better and politely asked him just to fix the problem with the recirculation pump, and that there was nothing wrong with the hot water heater. After several calls to management the repairman was finally given permission to simply fix the issue with the leaking pump, which he did by removing the pump and splicing the line together with tubing. However, he told my wife you'll be calling me back for a new hot water heater. Sure enough, our water was taking noticeably longer to get warm (which we anticipated since the recirculating pump was gone) but the water was just not as hot and in some showers/sinks just barely warm, so we began to think there was an issue with the hot water heater.
However, later in the week we had a plumber from a different company at our home completing some plumbing work on a kitchen remodel and he needed to re-light the pilot light on the hot water heater. I asked him about the pump replacement and he asked to see the pump the John Wayne repairman took out. Guess what? I couldn't find it anywhere so it was taken without our permission. I also asked if there was a water heater on the market suitable to replace our existing heater. He said yes, there was. Finally, I mentioned to him about our water taking so long to heat up and some showers not getting very hot at all. He found the problem: the hot water valve was left partially closed, reducing the hot water flow. He turned it to the proper position afterward we actually had to turn our hot water heater setting down because the water was so hot coming out of all our faucets.
Shame on you John Wayne for trying to take advantage of our situation and 1. Attempt to high pressure sell someone an overpriced tankless system that was not even the problem, 2. Taking my working pump which probably could have been repaired and reinstalled (it had a hairline crack in the case) without permission and 3. Leaving the water coming from the hot water tank to be colder than it should have been...intentionally or not, it was left incorrectly positioned. I would never recommend this company!

During the snow storm of 2021 a water pipe busted in my home. I called Roto-Rooter on a Monday and pleasantly found they were scheduling me for the next day. Winter conditions continued and no show. I called them at the end of the day and was told all scheduled appointments were moved to next day. Next day no show, no call. It's Friday and still no show, but what disturbs me most is no notice this whole time. I only heard from them once and that's bc I called them. Luckily my neighbor called A.L. Plumbing and after talking to their plumber he squeezed me in right there on the spot and fixed my problem. A.L. Plumbing, 210-269-6346.
I can't speak to R-Rs quality of service, but I can speak to their disregard for customer notification, time, and general courtesy.
