I'm giving 2.5 stars bases on Yelp's description of the stars.  I will recommend to folks where cost is not an issue.

Gist: $540 ($490 with Military Discount) to replace a Pressure Reducing Valve.  The job took 1 hr from knock on the door to payment.  So that is 85.00 for the part and $405/hr labor (w/ fuel & prorated business costs).  

Call for quote before replacing PRV if you have the following:  Jack hammer sound when flushing any toilet or running any faucet.  I took the steps to clear a water hammer but the problem continued.  

Cons:
- Cost (Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me)

Your guy was great, he had the problem diagnosed as I was describing it. I'm guessing because he had the new part in his car that this is a fairly common issue.

Is this the first time you have replaced a PRV valve in the new residential Alamo Ranch Area?  No, probably not.   Valve was 8 inch below the surface and easily accessible.

He knew this was a quick job but I didn't. I asked how long it takes on average and he said I don't know, we have to dig.  I asked him how much that part normally runs and he said he didn't know because you don't buy from Home Depot.

Average cost w/ labor online in 350.  Add the 350 plus the 65.00 you charge for the visit without service, that is 415.  It was worth it, at that point, to spend the 75$ just to have it done now.   Again, I didn't know the cause before you came out, otherwise I would have compared quotes.

I would prefer that in the future you ask a fair price for jobs you have a good understanding of, not the I don't know, maybe it could cost 1 to 3 hour price.   That is the difference between 2.5 (ok) and 5 stars (great).

Joaquin was very friendly and went above and beyond to explain what he was doing and what our plumbing issues were and gave several options as to go about fixing it. It was a simple unclogging  of the cleanout and he brought out the pipe camera and showed the interior of the pipes. Would  highly recommend and plan to use Andre's Pro Plumbing for all our future plumbing needs!

Our SAWs bill sky rocketed from $40 to $80 to $400 in three months! I freaked out and spoke to SAWs, who confirmed it was a fast leak and to get it fixed immediately. I did a project request on Yelp and Plumbit was one of the first responses. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I decided to go with them because I had a gut feeling. I'm so glad I trusted it. Another plumber told us the problem was in the concrete foundation and our house would sink eventually. But when Plumbit came (within hours of us speaking), they were incredibly precise and careful in finding the source of leak. They proved the other plumber wrong in that the leak was actually outside the house and not in the concrete foundation. I cannot tell you how much of a relief this was to me. They've taken a day of stress and torment to a day of relief to have the leak fixed. They even helped with tips on contacting SAWs to prove the leak was fixed and how and why it happened. I'm blown away by this company. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Anytime someone mentions needing a plumber, I'm recommending Plumbit to them!!! I would give ten stars and not five if it was possible.

Received a response within minutes after calling and leaving a message. They arrived on time, were friendly and professional, wore their face masks and voluntarily removed shoes at the door (it was raining outside). Their prices are very reasonable. Everything was well explained, including warranty on work done. They removed old sink and faucet for me, re-routed pipes under sink, installed new sink and faucet, removed old water filter, and cleaned out garbage disposal. They even diagnosed another job for me as well (broken commode) which I will rehire to have replaced once I'm able to purchase a new one.

Brad was excellent. He was able to see me in a timely manner, arrived on time and completed all the work very quickly. Excellent service. Will definitely use again.

These guys are the plumbers I have used in over 42 years in my home. I had two este heaters installed in addition to a hot water recirculating pump to get instant hot water at the faucets. They are responsive, efficient and reasonably priced. They want you to be satisfied and will bend over backwards to do so. I very highly recommend this plumbing company. Adam, Gabriel, Cody, Roger, Ryan are all terrific people.

After checking Yelp for highly rated plumbers that specialize in tankless water heaters in Fremont, BG Plumbing was one of two companies that stood out. When the first plumber didn't call back promptly, I called Tsanko this morning just after 8:30 am, explained that our unit had developed a tiny leak and wasn't working, and he said he could come by around 9 or 9:15.

Tsanko showed up right on time, and quickly diagnosed part of the problem (one of the end-caps inside the unit was slightly loose - and possibly had been since we got the unit a year and a half ago). If that had been it, he wasn't even going to charge us. However, it turned out that one of the sensors also wasn't working properly, and while talking to Navian's tech support, he removed and disassembled the small sensor, got it functioning properly, and hooked everything back up. That did the trick, and things are now back to normal. He also caught the fact that the unit had been incorrectly set to 110 degrees, even though the remote said 120 degrees (something that our contractor obviously missed). It took him just over an hour from start to finish, and the $95 price (his hourly rate) seemed reasonable.

I found Tsanko to be very friendly, methodical, and knowledgeable. It was a great experience all around, and it's nice to know that BG Plumbing is close by if we have any future problems.

Peoples choice plumbing had a very complicated job to do at our space. We have a rough industrial space and they needed to find a sewer line for our sinks. This was a very complicated job that many plumbers couldn't figure out. Peoples choice plumbing came out and diagnosed the situation (for free), then figured out a solution to the situation and fixed it up perfectly. I would recommend peoples choice plumbing to anyone that needs either a residential plumbing issue fixed or a commercial plumbing issue fixed. They pulled all of the permits required and had the inspector come out immediately to issue the green card. I am very happy with my decision and would call them again for any issues that might arise. Alamo Water Softeners had the best reviews and were the most reasonably priced when I was looking for a water softener company. I had never used a water softener before and wasn't prepared for keeping up with even the smallest maintenance for the system, (kind of like when I was young and would forget to put oil in my car). Although the system does require some care, like adding salt, which I would probably forget to do, Alamo Water has a very reasonable maintenance program and will add salt and check the system for their customers quarterly. Jeff was the last tech who serviced my system today. He filled up my unit with salt and did a quick check of the unit. They never rush the service and are always on time with a reminder text message bf they arrive. Exceptional service!

Jacob & David did an excellent job with our water main!  Had a massive leak and provided transparent and professional service.  Called several plumbing companies to come out and none came out, let alone responded to my calls, emails or texts.  The fact they resolved my issue early in the day on a Sunday was refreshing.  Good to know there is still hope in a service starved world that they cared.  Also provided a quote and direction for another issue that I will get serviced in the future.

Came across a small water leak on the main line coming into the house...I was happy to see that Jamie lives in my neighborhood, I mean...how much more local can you get...He showed up in about 30 minutes, gave me what I thought was a very fair quote and got to work...job was wrapped up in about 4-5 hours and was please with the whole process...Looks like we have a new Plumber that I wouldnt hesitate to call for my needs.

Theo and Paul showed up earlier than expected and was quickly able to identify my problem. Since it was outside their scope of support (3rd party sprinkler/irrigation system), they were able to bypass it and get my water back up and running at no cost.

Unfortunately I had an emergency and they were not available until next week, but they responded quickly and referred me to another plumber that took emergency calls. That is really going above and beyond and I appreciate the time and effort they took to help me.

This is the second time I have had to use Guarantee for service and both times we have received excellent service by the technician Bill. This time he had an assistant with him. We had a clogged drain and he listened carefully to my description of the problem and you could see him thinking as I was talking. Because we live in a mobile home, Bill has a unique perspective because he has lived in one, too, so he is familiar with the issues of mobile homes. He then went out to our clean out plug and started his investigation and easily saw that the problem was downstream of that point and it was the park's problem. He then went over to the park office, explained everything to them and got a commitment from them to fix the problem. Then he came back in to my wife and I, explained everything to use, told us we were only liable for the service diagnosis charge of $39.95. We gladly paid him, chit-chat for a minute or two and said we'd see him in two more years. Don't hesitate to use this company.

I called to have a leak in my front yard fixed. It was on my side of the water meter so SAWS said it was my responsibility. I called at about 9AM on a Friday morning and Stephen was at my house by 9:30. He found the leak immediately and was able to repair it. When he was done it looked like nothing ever happened. He replaced all the dirt and grass, washed down the sidewalk and made sure to give me my military discount. Stephen was very professional and made sure the repair was done properly. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend.

NOT a good experience, at all. sprang a leak after the recent freeze and called Elite after the leak detection service found the source. Simple cap replacement behind some drywall which was already partially removed to expose the affected area was required. Plumber shows up (an hour late according to dispatch and text with no call) and has his apprentice take a look. I go upstairs and my wife comes up telling me that this guy wants $400. FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS. To remove a less than 1 sq foot portion of drywall, cut a pipe and add a cap. I go down to tell him to get out and his reasoning for the insane price is that he had to cut drywall and take insulation out. I snapped back that took him all of 4 minutes and he suddenly recalculated the job at $240 which is STILL too much. If I hadn't waited a week I would have kicked him out. The best part of all of this? This guy didn't even have the cap that he needed to do the job. I gave him a spare that I had on hand!!! Otherwise he was about to try to leave to pick up a part. So if you want a late, dishonest plumber to show up and try to rip your wife off, then call these guys.

When the owner of the company has to constantly reply to poor reviews it's pretty clear that the focus off the company is off. Worry more about the services you provide and your employees and maybe the bad reviews start to clear up.

We purchased our A/C system about five years ago from Jon Wayne.  It came with a five year service agreement and we have been very happy with their fulfillment of that agreement.  the A/C is still working as it did on the day we purchased it and we plan to extend our service agreement if possible.
The staff are very knowledgeable and professional and always arrive within the period of time they specify.  
We recommend their services without reservation.

During the snow storm of 2021 a water pipe busted in my home. I called Roto-Rooter on a Monday and pleasantly found they were scheduling me for the next day.  Winter conditions continued and no show.  I called them at the end of the day and was told all scheduled appointments were moved to next day.  Next day no show, no call.  It's Friday and still no show, but what disturbs me most is no notice this whole time.  I only heard from them once and that's bc I called them.  Luckily my neighbor called A.L. Plumbing and after talking to their plumber he squeezed me in right there on the spot and fixed my problem.  A.L. Plumbing, 210-269-6346.  

I can't speak to R-Rs quality of service, but I can speak to their disregard for customer notification, time, and general courtesy.
