Replaced two water heaters in the attic And we're prompt and courteous. I now have a wonderful hot water pressure. Will do business with again.

I am so impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail on the installation of my storm door. Extremely professional and bar none the best phone call I've made for service in MANY years. I will always recommend this company and will continue to use them for years! Polite, reliable, professional - can't beat that.

Three professional plumber's came and diagnosed our issue in a matter of minutes even though it was a big job. Our main sewer line was not only backed up but broken. These guys took care of it in a short period of time and I didn't have to be there. They were so professional and courteous I was very surprised they didn't try to rip us off like other companies. I have already lined them up for another job and have them on speed dial for any other future issues. I would give this company 10 stars

Contacted Ray to replace my kitchen faucet since the original one was still in there. The house was built in the 60s. It took a lot of work since original valves were pretty rusted. Ray did an awesome job replacing the faucet and the garbage disposal. I definitely recommend him. He's professional and was wonderful work with. He's my new plumber!!

I am so happy to have found West Austin Handyman to tackle our to do list. I appreciated the responsive communication, professionalism, and really quality work for a fair fee. Excited to check off next project.

Absolutely amazing! I have had a really hard time finding plumbers that are affordable and professional. I cannot recommend this plumbing service enough. They were by far the lowest bid for the job and they did more than I even asked and didn't charge. The plumbing service before this quoted my job at $2,000...I almost fainted. This company charged me a total of $353.
I will be using their services in the future and so thankful for them for sweeping in and saving me from such a terrible plumbing experience.
Thank you Steve's Plumbing!!!!!!!!!

You can search the world far and wide, and you will never find a plumbing company as good as Confidence Plumbing. My water heater was 30 years old (seriously) and still going strong, but I didn't want to push my luck. After having one company come out and give me a $2300 bid to replace it and bring it up to code, I called Confidence. They came out, gave me an $1100 bid (for the exact same thing), and got it done before lunch the same day. Plus, they gave me a top of the line model, rather than some piece of junk from Lowe's or Home Depot. Paul and Gabriel were so professional and efficient - they cleaned up after themselves, hauled my old water heater away, cleaned my faucet caps (since there had been some air coming out after the water was turned back on), hosed down my porch where some sediment from the old model had fallen, and Paul walked me through step by step on how to use my new water heater.
You better believe that I will be using them for any plumbing issues that come up in the future. I have full faith in them and their work!

UPDATE:
The Monday after Fairway walked out on the job I paid for, I called Lowe's to discuss the situation.
After speaking with Lowe's, it is my opinion that Fairway is dishonest. They lied to Lowe's about what actually occurred in my home.
I see 2 young kids here who did not want to finish a job on a Friday night and were unprofessional. They failed to set any expectations whatsoever when they made the appointment about time windows. They failed to communicate much at all - before the appointment or while they were here. They do not appear to understand the meaning of integrity. They completely walked off the job without doing anything that I had scheduled and paid for. They clearly do not value the customer (just their $$). They apparently do not give a (insert curse word here).
Fairway provided Lowe's with a new estimate, just for the oven, and it is OUTRAGEOUS!
- They upped the basic installation of $139 that I paid Lowe's to $200.
- They want $105 to remove/replace platform. That is the plywood under the oven that keeps the oven level. There is nothing wrong with the existing platform.
- They want $75 to cut the wood.
- They want $245 to relocate the gas location to the next cabinet.
- They want $139 to remove & reinstall my existing cooktop over the oven. I guess this is so they can be comfortable while moving the gas line instead of working from a very roomy cabinet entrance.
- So for the bargain price of $764 they will install my oven, but not until after Thanksgiving, since they appear to be too busy with other appointments.
I THINK NOT! Let's not forget the microwave at $140. - so $904 was what they wanted.
Company MISREPRESENTS their values. This is from their website: Fairway is a company that was put together with the consumer in mind. We actually named our company with the term Fair Way after being witness to far too many consumers falling victim to unfair business practices. We deliver a service and product that we believe to be unmatched by anyone in the industry. We protect the consumer by doing the job with quality parts, knowledgeable & licensed professionals and following all the state law's and codes.... We do it the FairWay. We do the customer right. We offer better services at a lower price than our competitors...Most of our competitors talk the talk but don't walk the walk. We under promise and over achieve on every job we do. We have dedicated Employees..... It's the FairWay or no way ....
Are you kidding me???? I would have to say, they have no idea what the word FAIR means! They should rename themselves to UntrustworthyWay and get some orange jumpsuits to match!
--------------------------------------
Side Note - I had my oven and microwave installed today by an appliance installation company that contracts with other Lowe's locations (not the Brodie store) and other appliance retailers. No new platform was needed, they did not need to remove and replace my cook top, and were able to recess the Gas valve. Cost for everything (installation of microwave, oven and recessing the gas line) was $315. Talk about price disparity!

We worked with South By Plumbing on multiple occasions and always I've got very clear explanations on what happened, what need to be done and what are the options. The quality of work was exceptional and I was happy about the price. On the last occasion I had disposal stuck and the issue was resolved immediately without any attention required from my side

We had a disappointing experience with American Leak Detection. It started off well when their tech came out to first look for the leak. He was timely and professional, and by all accounts did his job properly. He located our leak underneath a large stone walkway just a few feet outside of our front door. They charged us $575 which we felt was fair and were thankful for the information.
We then had some plumbers come out to get quotes on actually repairing the leak. They were quite skeptical that there would be a pipe in that particular location and recommended we double check before proceeding with excavating underneath the walkway. So, American Leak Detection came out again and located the leak in approximately the same spot. They charged $350 for coming back out which we again thought was fair.
We then hired a plumbing service to do the actual repair, part of which included $2000 for excavation. They excavated underneath the walkway and found nothing. No pipe. No leak. Just a bunch of rock and soil. They did locate a leak about 20 ft away (not under the walkway) and repaired it.
When I emailed American Leak Detection to let them know what had happened, their initial response was encouraging. The employee that called seemed genuinely concerned about the issue and spoke glowingly of the owner and how much he cared about their customers. They asked if they could come back out a third time and essentially do a post-mortem analysis, which we of course agreed to. Afterward, they acknowledged that they should have located the leak in its actual location and not underneath the stone walkway. They told us that their method is not foolproof, which was really more in the form of an excuse than an apology. Also, we would have liked to have known that from the beginning instead of them standing behind their results when others were questioning it. They offered a refund of the $575 we initially paid for them to come out, but said they needed to keep the other $350 to cover their costs. We appreciated the offer, but there was no apology and no concern about the financial burden created for us by their mistakes.
They eventually had a change of heart and agreed to refund all of the $925 we had paid them (for which we are grateful), but refused to help cover any amount of the $2000 we paid Steve's Plumbing to go looking for a leak that never existed.
The process of receiving a refund was drawn out over several weeks and mostly consisted of speaking with someone who was very defensive, said a lot of things about the situation that didn't make sense, and whose story changed several times. She said we should have hired them to do the repair, but based on initial conversations and additional understanding provided by other plumbers, their reliance on their technology probably would have resulted in the actual leak being missed and a bunch of holes being made in our house to reroute our main line unnecessarily.
We can understand why the company wouldn't want to set a precedent of paying for plumbing services they didn't provide. What we can't understand is how a company that claims to care so much about its customers can't even muster a passing sorry for the inconvenience when their mistakes prove to be very costly for those who hire them. We would feel very differently about this situation if they had at least acknowledged and maybe even apologized for the $2000 we lost. Instead, they chose to circle the wagons so fast they were rendered incapable of even the slightest bit of empathy, making it impossible to consider how the situation might actually be affecting one of their customers. When we needed them to be the company they purport to be, they chose to be defensive and could not have cared less about out predicament.
So, based on our experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend that you hire this company (or at least this particular branch as they have multiple locations). The 1 star review has nothing to do with the employees that came out or even the fact that their information was flawed. Their technology isn't perfect and can't account for every single variable that might come up. It has everything to do with how they chose to treat one of their customers when things didn't go according to plan.

2 Stars for showing up at the time they said between 9:30-10am. Polite and then the rudeness starts when I'm told I need a new unite outside right away without even doing any kind of testing. I asked just to check unit and what it may need just to get it to run. He did check the system and still tells me I need a completely new system. Ok how much? Boom estimate was at $9000.00. Or out of three options which were still in the thousands lowest was 4-5 thousand. I declined the offers. Says I can finance it. I'm game lets see what banks they use well not very good ones Ally and goodleap. Ally is ok I guess but Goodleap is terrible they are involved with companies that declared bankruptcy and are being sued. My credit isn't bad just thin cause of recent truck purchase and new line of credit plus hard pulls. So I get declined from both. My wife did hers she has no credit, right away approved for 25k from Goodleap the 9,000 we need would be over $280 a month for 16 years! Someone with no credit should not be given that much. We declined as well of course. After that he asks well how much do you have in savings? What the ever lasting hell? Who asks that from people you don't know? He then talks to a manager who doesn't get why I don't take the loan. Who would if you knew financial stuff like this. When no deal was made he became offended and just took off saying very child like remarks like oh you know everything about credit and finance while guy(Lorenzo) is on the phone and you gonna let your wife suffer the heat? And the best remark when he was leaving I work to hard to live in heat! He left so quick he forgot his tool bag I had to call the company and let them know. He came back for the bag. Be very careful with the financing with them. Found another company and they gave a much lower estimate with in house financing at low low apr with well know bank. Shop around folks.
