Had a handful of electrical tasks/project that piled up around the house. Got a quick response from CTX with a very reasonable price. Tech arrived ontime and was very professional. CTX did a fantastic job on all the tasks: two ceiling fans, couple of switches, and a broken exterior light. Will DEFINITELY be using them for future electrical and likely plumbing needs.

Had a leak in my front yard from a copper valve that I didn't need.  It was completely removed, did the work for me when I wasn't home.  I came back at the end of the job and everything looked good.  Didn't shop around, used these guys because they do work for my church.  Seemed like a fair price.

I can't say enough good things about peradventure. We had them out to get rid of the air gap on our sink and reinstall our garbage disposal and faucet after getting new countertops. They are very fairly priced, showed up on time and were so courteous!!

Our granite people took part of our garage disposal with them and he was luckily able to find a spare part in his truck - total life saver!!

They are a family owned business...Nathaniel the owner is 1 of 11!! Just great people who do honest work - I would highly recommend!!!

Awesome service! They have responded to short notice Emergency calls immediately, and their prices are much more reasonable than anywhere else in town. Been doing business with them for years and always feel like I get an honest deal. The work is always done well. It's nice to have a plumber you can trust.

Replaced a couple of water heaters on second floor and took great care to get the old ones out, the new ones in and installed without issues.

Elsewhere (not on Yelp) I saw a few favorable reviews for Benton Plumbing of Benbrook, so I took a chance and called them about a leaky faucet (not an emergency).

The receptionist told me that they had an opening for the next Tuesday (I had requested a Monday or Tuesday appointment). She said the plumber would arrive between 11 and noon.

Tuesday, 10:45 a.m., Benton's called, saying the plumber was on his way. He (Paul) arrived at 11 sharp. He fixed my two bad faucets quickly (he did have to go to a nearby hardware store to get the proper fittings for my particular faucets).

Very reasonable charge ($85 per hour, plus parts).

I was very pleased! I asked for extra cards so I could spread them around the house (I tend to lose such cards).

Highly recommended!

Updated May 15, 2014: I have had occasion to use Benton's two more times since my original review. The review stands. Excellent service indeed!

These guys would have been great except they are absolutely unwilling to help after the work has been done.  I specifically asked them before and then again after the work was complete to break out labor from parts.  They are unwilling or just too lazy to do so.  The owner will not return any of my calls and keeps having his secretary handle his difficult customer(s).

We had a plugged laundry drain. He was the only one who would give a direct estimate for repair and see us the same day. 20 minutes later, drain was unplugged same day and we were able to use it. Would recommend him wholeheartedly.

Randy helped my plumbing company find a very difficult slab leak that 2 other leak detections companies could not find.   I will continue to use these guys for slab leak detection as they are AWESOME.

After leaving several messages on their voicemail they finally called me back. Was looking to get an inspection on our foundation after we had foundation repair. Was told they would do a free inspection. The company that did our foundation repair had their guys do an inspection but they really didn't do any thing. The plumber came out and didn't even know what he was there for. The secretary was suppose to email me so I could send the emails we got from the foundation company. She never did. Told the plumber what the emails were and he quoted me a price with out looking at any thing. Complete waste of our time. Should of known they were worthless with how they returned phone calls.

A neighbor recommended The Plumber. I called and they were able to come the same day. Our normal plumber gave us a timeframe 5 weeks from now. Two people showed up,  both wearing masks. They were able to to find the leak in nothing flat, in a different place than where I thought.  They were able to fix the leak in less than an hour leaving just a small hole in the wall to have repaired.
I now have a new plumber for any neds I have.

Worst experience ever!!! I called lex's plumbing to fix my tankless water heater issue which wasn't working  past 2 days. A guy named Corey came over today and checked the system . He said there is some sensor problem and need to order it. He charged us $300.00 and left the place asking us to order the parts. First of all what was the point in him coming over. Was it just to diagnose the issue or fix the issue?  OMG! These folks are useless! Never ever gonna recommend their service to anyone. It was just a waste of our money and time.

Icon plumbing replaced ALL slab and below pipes in the house. I was pleased with the service I received and they did a great job! I highly recommemd them, Condy will treat you right!

Good Fellas responded to my text, made it to my house the same day and replaced my outdoor faucet at a reasonable price with professional. Don't hesitate to call these Good Fellas for your plumbing needs.

Very professional and came same day. What they charged was very reasonable since they fixed our sink and toilet. Have used a number of plumbers over the years and would put them at the top of the list.

I spoke with Roger and even though I didn't use their company I appreciate his honesty and willingness to help.

I have used Micah several times.  He has been very reasonably priced, and has done excellent work.  Because it's a one person operation, a little flexibility with time is helpful, because he sometimes gets overwhelmed or gets stuck on a job that takes longer than expected, but it is a local family owned business and I love supporting someone like that.

About that Lifetime Warranty:  Our local franchise went out of business before we noticed problems.  I called the headquarters several times. No one ever answered my calls or returned them. I emailed them multiple times without ever getting a response. I called the franchises closest to my house which told me they couldn´t help (in their defense, each of them are 4 hours away and not responsible for the original work).

I saw on Olshan´s website that they advertised a 4+ star rating from a company I had never heard of.  I went there and told my story... and my review was pulled because Olshan disputed it! After not answering/returning my calls and emails, they had the NERVE to dispute my review. After a back and forth with that rating company where I had to provide multiple pieces of evidence that I was a real customer with a real issue, my review got restored to that site.

The whole experience left me thinking that they are not honorable.  I would advise others to seek help elsewhere.

I called A#1 early one morning because my regular company could not get out until after 5:00, A# 1 shows up and the tech walks through my house no shoe covers on and goes straight to the outside unit, my unit was blowing warm air as I was explaining this to him he proceeds to tell me that my unit Tran is obsolete and they do not make parts for them anymore! This unit is 5yrs old!!  He proceeds to turn on the unit and tells me that my compressor is fried and I would need a new unit! And he could get started and have it installed by the end of the day for a small cost of $5,000!!! I shook my head and said excuse me!! Did you check anything else out that could be the problem? He said that's the only thing it could be! I said just forget it and I will wait until after 5:00 and have the company that installed will come out and look at it! He said hold on a sec I think it might be the Capacitor! Lmao! When he figured out I didn't bite on the new unit offer that he needed to go ahead and replace what was really broke! Well he replaced it took my 250 bucks and left, later that evening my regular company that we use showed up to go ahead and do a tune up, they opened the unit and guess what??? The tech left the capacitor hanging and not attached to the bracket!!!!  When called A 1 back they hooked me up with the Tech who installed it and he said why don't the company that's doing the tune up fix it?? I said are u serious??? You installed it! Not them!!  He said he would be back around 5:00 he sent someone else who showed up at 8:30!!! I will never use this scam company again!! I know one thing you don't live up to your advertisement!!! I just hope some elderly couples don't fall for this type of information this company's techs are supplying.
