Our toilet flooded our house and we called multiple plumbers trying to find a company. Within half an hour, the plumbers were at our house and immediately solved our problem. Even though the problem was that we were complete idiots and our supply line had detached from our toilet. They didn't make us feel like idiots and gave us an estimate for the repairs if we needed to contact them again. We honestly probably will, but we wouldn't hesitate twice to call them with another problem if we ever experience this again.

Tyler and Victor were great. Came in and took a look, gave me a quote and did a good job replacing valves and installing new faucet. Will definitely use them again.

I had an issue with a hot water heater on a Friday night and Matt called me back right away.  He walked me through a few steps to take/troubleshooting and really helped me out.  I would recommend him to anyone with a plumbing issue.  Very helpful!

We had a leak in our front yard in the flower bed.   Another company provided me with a quote that I felt was a bit high.   Based on a referral from a family member, I called Pure Plumbing to get a second quote but they said they couldn't provide a quote over the phone.   They offered to come and take a look at the problem and provide a free estimate.   The plumber came and said it would cost $325 for an estimate.  I told him what the other company told me was the problem but he said he had to make sure himself.  Since it was already mid-afternoon, I told him to go ahead with providing me an estimate thinking that I could talk to the office later about the charge for providing an estimate they told me would be free.  After about 10 minutes, the plumber confirmed that the leak was coming from the homeowner's shut off box (which is what the other company told me as well).   His verbal quote was almost twice what the other company quoted me.   He did offer to take the $325 cost of the estimate out of the repair price.   However, he refused to email me a copy of the estimate and said that we would have to close out the transaction before he could provide me with the written estimate.   I asked him to wait outside so I could contact my husband to see what he wanted to do.   I also called the other company to see if they could come out to fix the problem that day but they were booked until the following week.   Since I work from home and didn't want to go without water for another 5 days, I agreed to have him do the work.   After the work was completed, he emailed me the receipt/invoice which has no details of the repairs performed.   I contacted the office the following day about my feeling misled on the free estimate and the invoice.   The person told me they would talk to the supervisor and get back to me on Monday.   On Wednesday, I still had not heard back so I called them again.   The person I spoke to said that the charge for $325 was for work done to locate the leak (10 minutes that he spent to dig in the flower bed to find the hole in the plumbing), and if the problem had been obvious they wouldn't have charged me for the estimate.  It still doesn't make sense to me how they can say free estimate when it's only free when the problem is obvious.  She said she would talk to one of the managers and get a revised invoice to me within 24-48 hours.  

It is now Friday evening and I received no resolution and still have not received a revised receipt/invoice.  I would not recommend this company at all.   While their free estimate claim may not be fraudulent, it is completely misleading.

They did a major repair under the house. Don Farley coordinated the process. Very communicative about scheduling and what was being done. The estimate was spot on. 4 days from start to finish and you can barely tell they were under the house. Don was awesome from start to finish. I got a full spread of pics to show the damage and repairs.

I had an appointment last week and because of the rain they couldn't do the work.  Chad stopped by my house to explain and we rescheduled for Monday, but he never showed up.  
I called and left a message and never got a return call back. I then called the West office and left a message.  No return phone call.   I wasted more than a week waiting on this company.   Very unprofessional.  If they are too busy to come at the appointed time, or to return a phone call then they don't need my business, or yours.

Called Staggs just after noon. The plumbers were out here and had the main line water leak to the house repaired in less than 2 hours from when we called. That is service! I will be calling them back to do plumbing work should I need it in the future! I am beyond thrilled! Highly recommend them!

Great service and fair pricing. We are very happy with Professor Plumb! They came out to our house within 30 minutes of us calling and were kind and professional and able to solve our problem.

Jason was great!  We needed a valve replaced to get the water in our home running again. We requested quotes from multiple people and Jason responded within the hour and called to get more information even though it was 7pm on a Thursday night. Couldn't ask for a faster response and the quality of work was outstanding. He had to dig up a portion of the flower bed and the whole area looked better than before he came. As added benefit it didn't break the bank. I will definitely be calling him again if I need a plumber!

Absolute replaced our water heater.  JJ and team were fantastic and a pleasure to have in our home.  The front-end support with Debora was also great - as usual.  Clearly they are and continue to be the gold standard for service and quality of workmanship.

What a joke!  
After they made an appointment through my warranty company (First American), they no called/ no showed.  When I called the warranty company, First American said Black Tie is saying they never made the appointment.  
Not everyone has the ability to take off work (now for 2 different days) to sit around for a no call/ no show!  
What a waste of time.  You should be ashamed and embarrassed!

Stan was amazing and very professional. He did great work and fixed our leak to our toilet in no time at all. Highly recommend him!

Requesting a quote is easy. They call you in a timely manner and are affordable. We've used this company twice. Both times fast and super friendly/helpful service. They offer advice and make recommendations when requested. All these great reviews are well deserved.

Skillful, honest forthright.

We called Direct Source after another local plumbing concern sent out what turned out to be a salesman in response to our request to auger a stopped up drain. The salesman spent some time surveying our situation and, it seemed, surveying my wife and me to see how much they could milk us for. They wanted almost $800 to get an actual plumber/tech to come behind the salesman and do the job. Charged us $39 (reduced from $69, so I guess we got a bargain) for the service call.

Direct Source sent a real plumber, Wes Hart, who showed up at our door promptly. He discussed some potential solutions if our problem persists, but did a basic clean out for $160 that seemed to make the most sense as what ought to try before turning to more drastic options.
