Bobby did a spectalular job in my home.  I have had two other companies come out to see why we did not have a strong water stream out of our faucet in the tub and neither was able to identify or fix the issue.  Bobby came out and looked at it and in 5 seconds said it was the filter.  Access to the filter was difficult due to 30 years worth of corrosion so he had to remove tiles to replace the system.  He did a great job and explained the process and why.   Finally works like it did when we purchased the house new.
Bobby was insightful, confident and extremely polite and respectful.  
I am only using O'Brian from now on.

So this company basically want to send over to give you a FREE estimate
Oh but it's cost 120$.
Ripped off basically. Then I ask. Give me the estimate over the phone. Or Yelp.

Oh no she said. We can't do the at. We need to come to you and look and charge you 120$.

Again. Ripped off.

You advertise your self as a free estimate. But you lie to clients. And you charge 120$ for that

We had a leak in our front yard in the flower bed.   Another company provided me with a quote that I felt was a bit high.   Based on a referral from a family member, I called Pure Plumbing to get a second quote but they said they couldn't provide a quote over the phone.   They offered to come and take a look at the problem and provide a free estimate.   The plumber came and said it would cost $325 for an estimate.  I told him what the other company told me was the problem but he said he had to make sure himself.  Since it was already mid-afternoon, I told him to go ahead with providing me an estimate thinking that I could talk to the office later about the charge for providing an estimate they told me would be free.  After about 10 minutes, the plumber confirmed that the leak was coming from the homeowner's shut off box (which is what the other company told me as well).   His verbal quote was almost twice what the other company quoted me.   He did offer to take the $325 cost of the estimate out of the repair price.   However, he refused to email me a copy of the estimate and said that we would have to close out the transaction before he could provide me with the written estimate.   I asked him to wait outside so I could contact my husband to see what he wanted to do.   I also called the other company to see if they could come out to fix the problem that day but they were booked until the following week.   Since I work from home and didn't want to go without water for another 5 days, I agreed to have him do the work.   After the work was completed, he emailed me the receipt/invoice which has no details of the repairs performed.   I contacted the office the following day about my feeling misled on the free estimate and the invoice.   The person told me they would talk to the supervisor and get back to me on Monday.   On Wednesday, I still had not heard back so I called them again.   The person I spoke to said that the charge for $325 was for work done to locate the leak (10 minutes that he spent to dig in the flower bed to find the hole in the plumbing), and if the problem had been obvious they wouldn't have charged me for the estimate.  It still doesn't make sense to me how they can say free estimate when it's only free when the problem is obvious.  She said she would talk to one of the managers and get a revised invoice to me within 24-48 hours.  

It is now Friday evening and I received no resolution and still have not received a revised receipt/invoice.  I would not recommend this company at all.   While their free estimate claim may not be fraudulent, it is completely misleading.

Slab leak in a 1979 old house. They got the job done in a timely fashion. Gave a rough quote prior to starting the job. Overall good experience. Would recommend

Came out quickly and did a good job.   Friendly and did a quick job.    A bit pricey but was worth it.

I had a leaky kitchen faucet and contacted Professor Plumb.  The guys came out and told me that it was a simple fix, which it was, and that there would be no charge.  I was already happy with Professor Plumb but this kind of honesty and integrity is so rare these days that these two gentlemen and Professor Plumb deserve the highest praise.  When I have to replace my kitchen faucet, there is only one choice for me and that is Professor Plumb!

I called after 8 pm, Jason came out at 10 pm a couple of days before Christmas to fix an emergency plumbing issue. He was thorough. A little expensive but he came after 10 pm, fixed the issue within 90 mins and save the day. I would recommend his company. All 5 stars.

We are experienced DIYers, and have built several bathrooms from the ground up, but this time we were trying to retrofit a new shower valve and had a leak we couldn't resolve. Dean's was very responsive, came out the same day, fixed it on the first visit, and the charges were very reasonable. I would knock off a half-star for a little bit of unnecessary attitude regarding DIYers in general, but mostly, a very good experience.

These men were great. The found my leak and fixed it. They had to cut tile and I asked them if they could save it and they said they'd try. They told me that if I'd get tile just in case, they wouldn't charge me for having to go look for it and get it. So $10 tile would've cost me $50. I found my own, but they didn't need it because they were able to save my tile. However they charged $50 for the pipes they had to get, which I'm sure were no more than $10 to $20 for all of it. So to get my pipe fixed was over $400. Plumbing seems a little pricey, but I think they were the cheapest I found. They were nice.

The serviceman was able to do the repair on the same day I called. He gave us a call before he arrived and fixed the faucet in half an hour. Friendly and quick...I would hire them again.

Helped with a slow draining drain. Very responsive and very nice. I had some confusion over billing and he was quick to help.

Blacktie did backfall work in our foundation to fixed a plumbing issue. They dug over 40 feet of tunnel to do this work in 2109.
The work was undertaken by gehan homes, our builder who paid blacktie. It was an expense of several thousand $$$$( I was not shared the details but I know based on a quote provided by Berkeys).
I never thought that I would have the sewage backup problem however
in 2022, less than 2 years later, the exact same problem of sewage backing in bathroom  started in the exact same spot Blacktie fixed. Now they want to charge us monies to fix it again - Didnt we have warranty ? I never thought that the problem would occur again and gehan homes was handling the repair, an expense of over  $10k so we didn't think much of it. We were just glad to ge tried if the disgusting sewage backup. Blacktie's work was  backed up by ONLY a year's warranty  while other companies give a 5 year warranty for the same job!
Clearly seems like Blacktie did not have faith in its own work by shortchanging us on the warranty terms.

I would be very careful giving  an expensive repair job to Blackie since they dont stand behind their own work.  What a disappointing experience  with Blacktie in DFW area!

Stan was amazing and very professional. He did great work and fixed our leak to our toilet in no time at all. Highly recommend him!

As usual, Pelayo plumbing did an excellent job in replacing my water heater, they are friendly and profession, they are the only plumbing company I will use!

I made an appointment for the next day between 12:00 & 2:00.
The lady said someone would call before arriving for appointment.
He called and arrived an hour before appointment time.
He described the problem and solution that I already knew, quoted me a reasonable price, had the repair done in a few hours and cleaned up real nice.

Christopher has all of these 5 star ratings for a good reason.  He was on time, professional, and knowledgeable.  He diagnosed my issue and fixed it quickly and didn't leave a mess.  I could tell he takes a lot of pride in his work, and he replaced my old parts with better materials than were used in the original construction.  All of this, and I would have expected to pay much more than I did.  

I will definitely call Christopher for any plumbing needs that we have, and I will also recommend him to anyone needing quality service at a reasonable rate.
