Water heater went out on a Sunday evening. Matthew was the only company that reached out on a Sunday night. Had the water heater changed out by noon Monday afternoon.

We had a leak in our front yard in the flower bed.   Another company provided me with a quote that I felt was a bit high.   Based on a referral from a family member, I called Pure Plumbing to get a second quote but they said they couldn't provide a quote over the phone.   They offered to come and take a look at the problem and provide a free estimate.   The plumber came and said it would cost $325 for an estimate.  I told him what the other company told me was the problem but he said he had to make sure himself.  Since it was already mid-afternoon, I told him to go ahead with providing me an estimate thinking that I could talk to the office later about the charge for providing an estimate they told me would be free.  After about 10 minutes, the plumber confirmed that the leak was coming from the homeowner's shut off box (which is what the other company told me as well).   His verbal quote was almost twice what the other company quoted me.   He did offer to take the $325 cost of the estimate out of the repair price.   However, he refused to email me a copy of the estimate and said that we would have to close out the transaction before he could provide me with the written estimate.   I asked him to wait outside so I could contact my husband to see what he wanted to do.   I also called the other company to see if they could come out to fix the problem that day but they were booked until the following week.   Since I work from home and didn't want to go without water for another 5 days, I agreed to have him do the work.   After the work was completed, he emailed me the receipt/invoice which has no details of the repairs performed.   I contacted the office the following day about my feeling misled on the free estimate and the invoice.   The person told me they would talk to the supervisor and get back to me on Monday.   On Wednesday, I still had not heard back so I called them again.   The person I spoke to said that the charge for $325 was for work done to locate the leak (10 minutes that he spent to dig in the flower bed to find the hole in the plumbing), and if the problem had been obvious they wouldn't have charged me for the estimate.  It still doesn't make sense to me how they can say free estimate when it's only free when the problem is obvious.  She said she would talk to one of the managers and get a revised invoice to me within 24-48 hours.  

It is now Friday evening and I received no resolution and still have not received a revised receipt/invoice.  I would not recommend this company at all.   While their free estimate claim may not be fraudulent, it is completely misleading.

First time using and will use them again if the need arises. Water heater went out and I reached out via their site for a quote. They contacted me first thing in the morning and had a tech here about 30 mins later who was friendly and informative. A few hours later I had a new tank installed and working great. They handled the permit, scheduled the city inspection, left no mess all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend them.

Horrible communication. They never call back. They never sent us the technician notes and it's been almost 2 weeks. Use another company

Until recently, I would rate Staggs Plumbing with five stars. They have done several jobs for me and I used to be impressed. Their employees do not stand behind their work a day over the one year warranty verbally discussed, and a previous repair was quoted at a much higher rate. In addition, after they left from the most recent job, I noticed a stud was missing from my wall. None of the three Staggs employees who were in my home talked to me about this before doing so, they just did it. Their office schedulers are great to work with, as are some of their plumbers; the problem for me is if I cannot trust all of their employees, I will not hire or recommend them moving forward.

Had a technician B.W. Initials come and install new bathtub and stand up shower fixtures. Quoted a price and had to make two trips to the store to make it work properly. Didn't uncharge for the trips to the store, ended up buying the same thing I had but the package for everything needed was $80 and didn't charge us to for it. Stayed with the original quote. Didn't take the new ones we ordered, said to return it to recoup your money. That is incredible service you never see anymore. If needed again will 100% use this company. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. If you need a plumber for changing out 40 year old fixtures to keep the retro look and they can find what you want. You'll get it and it works perfectly. I'm very satisfied with the plumber and apprentice. They were both professional, courteous and did high quality work. My only disappointment was to find out how much the parts were marked up over jobber's and even retail costs. I would rather have been given a list of the items needed and then gone to Home Depot myself to purchase them to be able to save some money. At the time I was so concerned about quickly having my hot water heater replaced that I didn't think to ask for that option and the option wasn't offered.

I'd also like to compliment the office receptionist. She was very friendly, courteous and helpful.

While I have not used many plumbers, I would hope that they could all be as good as the people from Black Tie Plumbing. Jeremy was on time, made sure to call ahead, answered all my questions, and worked with me and their distributor to get a water heater that met my needs. I highly recommend their service and will definitely look to use them for future plumbing jobs.

I purchased a Water heater and contacted Pelayo Plumbing to do the Installation after seeing their Awesome reviews on Yelp.  We scheduled a date and time and to my surprise, they were ringing my door bell at the exact time they were supposed to be here.  How many Plumbers have you tried calling, and you end up waiting for hours before they even call to tell you they are running late?  Not this company!  The Installation was very clean, and I could not be happier with their service.  I will ONLY use this company for all my Plumbing needs.  Thanks guys!

On time and installed our toilet fast and at a low.  Tyler was very professional and explained everything.

Called Chris on Saturday morning and he was able to come out to complete my repair later in the afternoon.  He assessed and completed the repair quickly. He price was reasonable and he did a great job!  Definitely recommend......
